We were sitting in front deck talking and a bright light appeared in the sky above the north channel of Lake Huron. The light moved east to west faster than any plane we've ever seen, and disappeared into the clouds

I was walking my dog when I saw this light in the sky. I'm a plane buff so I tend to look up at the sky. This light I spotted seemed to be making unusual movements or: corkscrew movements. I thought it may have been a trick of my viewpoint because I was walking my dog. So I stopped to get perspective. I looked for a Stobe light but didn't see one flashing. Also, didn't see any colored lights on this object. I did see a sideways sort of movement. I didn't hear any noise such as I would have expected from a prop or jet engine. I don't believe it was a satellite. I have seen satellites before and their movements are more straight lined than this objects. If it was a plane I would guess it's height at about 30 thousand feet. It was heading in an easterly direction.

Was driving down from my home on San Juan Blvd. turned onto Puget to head down the hill to the 7-11 on lakeway... at the top of said hill you can see out across the bay toward Lummi Island and the Salish Sea. I saw 20+ reddish orange objects take off from what looked like at least 8-13 miles out from the sea in a north easterly direction... I took some video, then went to the store than left a good 5 minutes later, drove back up the hill towards my house when I stopped and looked back out off the hill they were still taking off. There was no sound what so ever as you would expect from modern day military aircraft.. I've never known a airliner to fly in formation either... 9:54 pm pacific time.

Seddon (New Zealand) · New Zealand

On the 26th of May, 2016, I was driving from the town of Kaikoura to Blenheim on the north-east coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Heading north on Hwy 1, approaching Lake Grassmere at about 19:45, I noticed a very bright light in the night sky over the range of hills just north of the lake. The light seemed to be farther out behind the hills, likely over the Cook Strait. Being somewhat colour blind, I am not sure of the colour of the light, could have been red or orange. I pulled over on the highway (41°44'05.0"S 174°07'43.2"E) to get a better look. It was suspicious as it was much brighter than any stars in the sky or aircraft for that matter. At first, I wondered if it was the aircraft landing light on a plane taking off from Wellington airport, but it did not move up or down, just stationary. The light sat stationary over the hills for about 5-minutes until precisely 19:49. It then dimmed to about 25% of its original luminescence, then moved off to the North at a rate of speed I would suggest being 2-3-times faster than normal air traffic in the area. Wellington airport is quite busy at this time, however the airport runway runs North-South, and was northeast to my position with aircraft taking off or landing in North or south direction. The light was to my north-northeast, several degrees north of the light pollution given off by the city. Checking some flight apps, I was not able to find a plane that would have been in that position at the time of sighting. It is worth mentioning that 20-min before the sighting, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was registered in the Cook Strait, in the general area where I had witnessed the light.

I was looking up at the night sky with my wife, as you do at the stars as I noticed a white light like a star, moving it was moving across the sky at first I tort it was a plane as it was moving at that sort off speed as I watched for a few moor seconds I told my wife to look as well. a plane at quite high altitude flew across my view clearly seeing its flashing lights and hearing its engines ever so slightly as this happened the object mad a funny sort off movement, ass the plane went to Crosse my view of it, then it quickly stopped just in front off it it then changed direction around the top off the plane and made a very strange fuzzy wiggly movement around the top off the plane as it went over and then just stopped as the plane went on it just sat there then even moor strange it moved backward for a few seconds before moving forward again then suddenly coming down the sky to go back up and then carrying on again in the same direction was when I first saw it then just disappeared. it looked like a star I really tort it was just a satellite until it made such strange unnatural movements. witnessed by myself and my wife I am a bit off a sceptic to aliens I will believe when I see clearly with my own eyes but I saw what I saw something not right im not saying its aliens but I saw sorting white like a star

Morehead, KY

Morehead, Ky 04/24/16 Have seen this set of lights for about over a year now. They are normally in a position of a triangle and flash red and white lights. Sighting almost every night during moonlight, and very dark nights. And when there are no stars showing at all. In all seasons. View them on and off all night long into the wee hours of the morning. The positions of the distance seem to vary making the shape of the triangle very large at times. Sometimes two of the lights will not be there leaving only one, usually the brightest one still up there. This goes on for hours.

They were circular and were nearly touching when all lit. They lit one right after another and then winked out simultaneously. They relit following the same pattern. Then nearly immediately relit farther to the North. We discussed this and cannot explain it. We blew it off but have seen it again June 7, and June 8. A total of 8 witnesses have seen this now and we expect to see it again. We watch each night since June 7 by 9:30. They looked like Roman candle flares, but did not move and were so precisely placed that they must be on an object. A10 jets fly here, I wonder if whiteman AFB has an explanation.

Conquet (Le), Bretagne · France

[GEIPAN classification A — Astronomique]

Alma, AR

After seeing two large purple meteor-like objects falling bright enough to be seen behind thick trees, a bright white light was spotted in the sky. Not only were there no lights flashing like a plane, but it moved from one side of the sky to the other (from the ESE) in approximately five seconds. For reference, the fastest nearby plane was timed moving across the same amount of distance in approximately 20 seconds.

Observation time is +/- 5 mins, as I did not look at time until discussing observation with other witnesses. While sitting on my deck with family, I witnessed a bright light in the southern sky, perhaps 30 deg. above horizon, moving quite quickly to the north trending west slightly. I thought it might be an airplane reflecting sunlight as it was not far past sunset, or satellite; but the light was very intense even for either of the mentioned options. I pointed out the light to my family, my father saw it right away. The light started to slow down until it reached maybe 45 deg. above the horizon. It then stopped in place, became less intense and then winked out. My father who would normally disagree with any possibility of such an event even agreed that it was an extraordinary event.

I was walking my dog, trying to take pictures of him, when he started growling and barking. Startled, I start looking around I then noticed a purple haze in an oval form in the sky. I was able to take a picture but before I could video it was gone. This morning I get on Facebook and see a post asking if anyone had seen it, and I posted my picture. I was then directed to this page.

Probable conventional

Oullins, Rhône-Alpes · France

[GEIPAN classification B — Lanterne thai]

Husband and I were out back looking at the moon and Mars. I had my phone out using skymap. Suddenly we noticed a bright orange light under the moon right by Mars, took a pic, then a video. It moved from east to west, completely horizontal - way below the clouds. No sound, no smoke trail. Car alarms were going off. When it got to the far west in about 40 seconds, the light blinked out but the object could still be seen against the clouds until it got lost behind trees.

Hobart, IN

My fiancé and I were driving down a back county road on our way home to Hobart. The sighting posted of the Blue Taleh Restaurant; with the three lights exactly sitting the way in the picture was what I seen. One other sighting of this was about a month or two ago, my fiancé and I seen it again driving down State Road 51 SAME POSITION SAME LIGHTS. We we're driving, so we didn't stop, but the whole time we watched nothing moved, nothing shinned brighter it just stayed. I'm assuming no one would of really noticed because when you look you would mistake it for street lights in a distance, or just stars. These weren't stars though they were more down to earth; closer to us. Two separate occasions, two separate places. What really made me look into this site and get really over the top and start digging. Last night 8/14/2016 4am, at my house. I know the meteor shower was supposedly for August 11th, 12th, and 13th.... This wasn't a meteor, this wasn't a shooting star. My eyes we not messing with me, and I know the image that is stuck in my head. It wasn't normal, and I have never really believed so much into ufos or these crazy sightings till last night. It was round, flat, light to it. like a yellowish tint the moon gets BUT LIGHTER, almost phantom like. It moved so quick in an out of this cloud I mean so unbelievably quick. It looks almost as if it had a light tracer too it. It happened so quick, you almost thought your eyes where playing tricks. I didn't hear a sound in the sky. Not a plane, not a helicopter. I can't tell you what it is that I saw, but I seen it.

18 months ago i saw something similar, but appeared more like a slow motion shooting star, going upwards. Even saw a small fire trail. I watch planes and helicopters almost every night, seen meteors and shooting stars. You learn flight paths and how to identify these things. And also like the 3 incidents I mentioned you can tell what seems backwards or unnatural (including inhuman as far as we know). Just wish i could see these in the day, seems I only see them shortly after night fall and only within the atmosphere. Just sharing because I see a lot of this around Tucson but can never find reports. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Bright light seen over field near Salisbury, MD. Stationary at first, then about 3 or 4 smaller blinking white lights were seen flying up to and then coming in contact with the main light, which then started moving slowly in a south-east direction and disappearing. For some reason, witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Object is bright light that is stationary in sky for several minutes. Bearing E.S.E over mountains as seen from U.S. highway 141, then departed rapidly southward. Hard to determine speed, time from fixed position to disappeared, about two seconds. Seemed to have an upward angle, but hard to tell as I am in the mountains. Maybe I was traveling on a downward slope and it looked like it was going upward. I was driving and had to keep on the road. I was an owner/operator truck driver for over 20 years and I have seen many lights in the sky before, but not like this.

I was on a camp in nungatta South on a remote farm eating dinner with my friends.About midway through the meal I decided to go to the toilet. As I was walking (on my own) to the toilet I looked up at the beautiful clear sky, then out of nowhere a single bright large green light appeared out of nowhere, it was the weirdest colour of green I've ever seen, it hovered for about 3 seconds then shot across the sky at an impossible speed, then after about 7 seconds it vanished. I was sure it wasn't a plane it was way to big and moved way to fast. I'd estimate it was about 100-200m up from where I was standing, and maintained that altitude the whole time,it did not look like it was descending.
