I was walking my dog across the road from my house and I looked up at the stars. I have an app star and planet finder on my iPhone. I looked opposite from Mars toward the northern sky when I noticed a very bright light. This light was much brighter then I've ever seen in the night sky. It was moving in a South Eastern direction very slowly. I thought maybe it might be a helicopter at first but there was only a single bright light. I looked to see if there were any planes which I noticed one to the south and one to the North heading both toward the East keeping my eye on the object. The object kept the same heading SE when it faded slowly until it appeared to go straight up and out of sight. I thought it may have gone behind a cloud but the sky tonight was clear as a bell overhead. There were some cloud cover alone the horizon but not straight up where the light vanished. I believe this was something I can't explain. Thank you for reading this and I hope it ! helps some how.

I was at Disneyland with my friends for grad night. We were outside of a ride waiting in line when I looked up at the sky to see the stars. I saw what appeared to be a satellite. It was headed south/southwest and was a reddish orange color. My friend and I both watched it for a minute or so before it began to act unusual. It began to zigzag and speed up and slow down. It even stopped and started at one point. At this point my friend looked away and the object stopped a second time. It turned from a reddish-orange to yellow and let out a sky blue beam out into the night sky on its left side and disappeared into the clouds. I cannot believe that my friend looked down at his phone just before it started to act like it was not a satellite but maybe other people saw it too. Disneyland can be very crowded.

At about 4am, my friend and I were standing in our backyard, which is surrounded by strawberry fields. We are away from the bright lights of any city, and we often stargaze on clear nights. This morning, while looking towards the northwest sky, we both noticed a bright and shining light that seemed to (at first) be pulsating...we have an app called sky guide that shows us where objects are in the night sky, and this was not an object identified on any of our apps. As we continued to watch, the light appeared to be moving in various formations, and actually seemed to split off and away from another similar entity before returning back to the object (or beside it maybe)....it hovered and zoomed about as if it was teleporting to the side/to and fro from the central origin point and appeared to be at least 2...probably 3 in formation moving in unison. What was most amazing was the rotation of colors that presented! We are typically used to seeing the GPS aircra! ft above us (they have red, white, and blue blinking lights) that are VERY common, especially in the past few years. To a novice viewer, these GPS craft can very easily seem exotic. This was NOT any type of craft or sky object that either of us had ever seen before-in fact, I couldn't stop staring in amazement as each second seemed more and more unbelievable. Right above the distant silhouette of the tree line, this "light" actually transformed itself from a glow similar to that of a bright white star to greenish blue to red (in rapid succession) and then eventually back to white while hovering, glowing brighter (similar to watching the backside of thrusters being engaged) then fading and appearing to finally move away and quickly increase altitude until it was GONE! Afterwards, I studied the placement of the stars, etc, Mercury was at the same height of the entity but directly southwest vs northwest where the light had been. The only bright star between Mercury ! and the strange light was Vega...this craft or crafts were brighter. Sunrise came about an hour afterwards. We will continue to search the skies for this as well!

Observed two balls of light leap frogging across the sky in the Carolina Forest area. Lights were whitish colored and were moving in a south eastern direction. After seeing the lights leap-frog several times, the lights disappeared. No noise or physical shapes observed, just lights. Trailing light would fade and another would appear in a leaping fashion and repeat in a south eastern direction. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

We were on our way home from work and we were on the highway and came up over the hill and we saw this glowing light, so I immediately started recording on my phone. The shape is unclear but the light eventually went into three lights then back to one, and then joy disappeared for a split second, then repeated itself once or twice again and then just disappeared for good. It was located by a cellphone or some kind of tower with its red lights to warn pilots. So I thought it was weird something in the sky seemed to be so close to it and not moving exactly. The color of the lights were white, kinda relish tint and yellow tint color to it as seen in the video. This happened within a 3-5 minute period and that's about it.

I tried to let my dog outside before going to bed, and noticed she wouldn't leave the deck. So, I looked out and at the wood line in my backyard was an extremely bright baseball sized ball of light then as it flew away I started to notice more they have been flashing near the trees for about 20 minutes so bright they're hard to look at (so no its not a bug) they move at very fast speeds. They have been at different heights in the air. I saw some at ground level and all the way up to above the trees. I have never seen anything quite like this and I'm shaken up about it. It has left a very uneasy feeling in my stomach.

I only have a photo that I had taken of the sky. I have been a professional photographer for 30 years and was shooting the aurora borealis, the night of June 5th and 6th. I had taken a test shot with a different lens, than what I had been using. I didn't see the objects, until I was going through the photos, a couple days, later. The photo was taken with a Canon 5D MkII. The lens was a Canon 135mm F/2 L. The exposure was taken from a tripod for 5 sec., at f/3.2. The camera was set at ISO 1,250. The camera was looking to the ENE, and you can see the horizon line for further positioning reference. The stars all show the movement over the 5 sec length of the exposure. 4 of the lights in the sky seem to show a rapid and matching movements. 2 of the lights are near the center of the photo, and 2 are near the bottom of the photo, to the right of center.

Northwestern skies just to the left off the handle of the big dipper. Bright white light on a horizontal course with a slight upward angle. It suddenly appeared for 3 seconds then disappeared. It was definitely faster than any satellite/airplane or the space station. Light intensity stayed the same through out the sighthing.

I work nights .. at 2am this morning I went on break, outside to have a cigarette. I used the south exit. When I notice a solid dark blue small light, not flashing, not moving, over the southeast part of town. While grabbing my phone to record it the light changed to a light blue and flashing very fast and started to move.. I tried tracking the object, when it went behind a tree. then on the other side of the tree its started flashing light red… and disappeared. Here in Alaska, the sun does not really set. I recorded as much as I could within 30 seconds it was over the northwest part of downtown Anchorage. I am sending you a video clip via your email.

Very suddenly, the lead Red changed it's color to a yellow-white, and began to slowly descend. The remaining Reds, one by one, began to disappear while flying north-east. The remaining (now yellow-white) light drifted back west to near where it originally appeared, then rose in the sky and stayed static for at least 30 minutes. In that time, another Red light appeared on the horizon, went skyward until it was over the original light, then disappeared. As of this writing, the original light is still in the sky exactly where it was with no movement, and no other lights have appeared or moved.

Walked onto my back porch and saw this flickering large light, much bigger than a star and it slowly floated up but at angle then dimmed to almost nothing, but still consisted of a few small lights and I lost it once it went behind trees.

Our daughter decided to move to Chicago and live with a friend. We are from Kansas City so my husband and I decided to make a one day drive of it. We left early Saturday, June 4th, and dropped her off and head back to Kansas City, MO. We were on south I-35, toward KC, and I think we had just past Route 5, I think it was. It was dark and an object flew over our car. It came from the back driver's side and passed over the right front passenger fender. It was probably about 8-10 feet above us, not very high at all. It was not very large, about the size of a softball maybe a little large. It looked like mostly blue and white light. It seemed to be made up of many, many small blue and white lights in a sphere shape. It was traveling in a very straight line but spiraling and wobbling at the same time. It was moving fast but not very fast so I got a good look at it. I was the passenger at the time and my husband was driving. He saw it too but not clearly and I asked him if he just saw that thing that flew over and he said yes and asked what was it. I had no idea what it was but it seemed to have a short trail of light behind it. It was definitely close, not in the distance. I could see the smaller 'bead' type lights making the object up. The lights were a little 'sparkly'. It's difficult to describe. It was definitely not lightning, not even ball lightning as I have experienced that before. It was some type of object for sure.

Unkown light source during the 4th of July firework show in Nappannee, IN. Craft emitted a dark red light. Remained still for 4 minutes and vanished. Most likely not a lantern as it had no movement and instantly vanished. Also much darker than any lanterns in the sky. Not a firework as it remained visible for 4 minutes, and showed no movement. Not a drone due to its instant vanishing. Light was stonger at times and dimmer at others with no set pattern. Later that night odd lite clouds appeared. An electric blue color as if lightning. Visible for 30 minutes at most, light the sky for about a mile. Possibly due to other light shows. But still noteworthy.

I was sitting out side watching airplanes take off and land. I live near the airport. I noticed a round, single, white light that looked like a star at first, and was moving faster than the speed of an airplane. It was traveling from the South West to the North West. It had no flashing lights, and was definitely not a meteorite, plane, balloon, or helicopter. I know how to recognize aircraft. At one point, it suddenly became much brighter for a couple of seconds, then dimmed again. It continued to travel at the same speed toward the North West for another 30 seconds or so, then suddenly disappeared. Object could not have been the International Space Station, which was not visible from Las Vegas at the time and date indicated by the witness. PD

It was about 1:25 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, (this morning). I ventured outside with my husky following a thunderstorm. The night sky was filled with stars! To the south, a town or two away, was lightening in the distant clouds, but no streaks of lightning; no jagged lines or ground contact--just electricity lighting up that section of clouds. Looking in that direction and a bit to the east, in a southerly neighbor’s yard, suddenly a flash of light appeared by the tree top. Perfectly round, small, bright. At first, I thought it was a firefly, yet it didn’t zigzag like a firefly; it merely blinked for a moment. Then a second one directly next to it appeared to the right. The two lights shone simultaneously about a yard apart, in a straight line, then disappeared. I turned and walked a few feet to the west, admiring the planets, and constellations. Such a clear sky! A couple of planets, and so many stars! I had a clear view of the big dipper. Within seconds of facing due west, the big dipper to my right and a bit north, a small, round, bright white light appeared much higher in the atmosphere. It was identical in size and brightness to the first two and seemed to appear from behind a different neighbor’s tree, moving north along the sky, much higher in the atmosphere, silently;. This light appeared like a twinkling star,as did the first two, then disappeared. Yet it reappeared much further along its straight-lined path to the north, much higher in the Earth's atmosphere. The light intermittently blinked it’s way across the sky rapidly moving northerly then disappeared out of sight in the northern sky. There were no sounds for any of the lights; no plane noises nearby. None of the lights moved as comets would, or planes, or fireflies. The experience felt soothing, magical, and precious.

While walking home, i saw red lights that resembled aircraft coming in to land, all flying in formation, they leveled out about 1000ft traveled for a distance of a few miles, then some shot straight up out of sight, there was no noise and the way they were flying was no airplane, comet or weather balloons

Watched what I thought was an airplane traveling at about what a normal plane might look like in the sky but had no flashing lights. Continued to watch object as it was traveling across the sky in a slightly upward direction eventually fading dimmer until it blacked out as if it left the atmosphere. If the time indicated by the witness is accurate, the object could not have been the ISS, which had been visible from Athol, Massachusetts, an hour earlier. PD

Three very bright red/orange non pulsing lights observed over Northeast section of city 15 miles north of airport. Two lights flew slowly in formation, rear light at about 4 o'clock position. Third light circled first observed lateral to the two circled behind and disappeared. Two lights tracked until they disappeared in clouds (clouds at about 5000 ft.) One light may have had purplish non-pulsing light in center. Lights were too bright to be navigation lights and wrong color for anti-collision strobes.

Was smoking a cig, saw a orange ball of light about the same size of light you'd see from a low plane, but it was orange not white and there were no flashing lights. Watched the light fly slowy across the sky, and then it stopped and moved backwards, the way it was coming from. Repeated to hover and shift slowly through the sky, it was flickering like a star but not a plane or helicopter, I watched the object stop moving and a white line showed up below it, and it started to get smaller and as it was getting smaller the light got less bright, and all of the sudden, it vanished. While watching it, I looked around for someone else looking but the only other things that saw were the two random cats I saw sitting in the street staring at the sky. Sighted near heart park in Orange CA, object was floating in the sky somewhat toward Angel Stadium. Anyone else see this??

I actually do not believe in extraterrestrial spacecraft. This is just something flying that was unidentifiable to me. I was out looking at Mars through my telescope. It was low on the horizon in the southeast, just above the tree line. I was waiting for Saturn to rise, when I saw a bright red light flying in my direction, from the southeast. We have a lot of air traffic near our house due to our proximity to Pease. As it got closer I noticed there were two lights flying staggered. I thought, this is cool, a couple of military aircraft. But then I noticed there was no jet or helicopter sound. As I said, we have a lot of air traffic, but it is always loud. At the height these were flying, there should have been either a thunderous roar of jet engines or loud thumping of helicopter blades, but they were silent. They became obscured by a large tree in my yard, so I went into my neighbors yard to keep track of them. When I got around the tree, one had broken off and headed east, and the other headed northeast. I pulled out my cell phone and recorded the one heading northeast. Didn't catch anything viewable, it was too dark. Not sure what they were. Maybe afterburners on jets very high up? But they only seemed a lot lower? But why would I see bright red as they were heading toward me? There were no other lights. No blinking or other colors. Just solid red.
