While traveling north on Hwy 23 four miles south of interstate 94 I observed a line of bright orange orbs traveling from NNW to SSE approximately 1000-1500 ft AGL. The first two were grouped close and just after passing nearly straight above me, shot up through the cloud deck at high rate. Three more followed in the same line but instead of going up like the other two continued SSE to the horizon. The last one went dim before reaching the horizon. I immediately pulled over and videotaped them as soon as I could safely do so.

On Friday, September 27, 2019 at approximately 8:40pm in Blacksburg, Virginia I was outside walking my dog on the Huckleberry trail and as usual, looking up into the sky to see what I could notice. My first thoughts of the night were who exactly gets to occupy which altitudes in the sky? Because I noticed several aircraft in the in the air this evening, some at extremely high altitudes and others seemingly occupying various other levels of the atmosphere. One aircraft in particular, whom was closest to the ground that I presume to be of the private variety local to the Virginia Tech airport was flying in unusual patterns with a green, white and red light on it, I had taken the time to observe it because it appeared to be so unusual compared to the other aircraft I see in the air at night with red and white transponder lights. Considering I observe a lot of aircraft in the sky, it’s a regular occurrence here in Blacksburg, this particular aircraft was behaving in a way that made me consider the possibility some kind of driver’s education, behind the wheel class was going on? A minute or so would pass as I continued walking down the path and I looked up into the sky again to see the most amazing things. There are three objects in the sky, one at the 11, 12 and 2 o’clock positions and they appear to be on fire. They were clustered together, seemingly moving independent of one of another but the object at the 2 o’clock position moved around freely, very firefly, serpentine like and appeared to change altitudes and directions efficiently. There was a rocket booster looking affect to the objects, but they were clearly emitting some kind of flame. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me but I did sprint in vein in an attempt to get one. By that point, the objects were gone. The airplane I saw moving erratically in the sky no doubt was observing this same behavior and there was an uptick in traffic in my area immediately following the event, so I would have to think it was witnessed by more than just myself on ground level.

Sighting 2 of 2 On September 27th, my wife and traveled to the back side of Charles Mill Reservoir, just outside of Mansfield, Ohio. The location we choose is void of light with very little light pollution from the city, perfect for stargazing and watching out for shooting stars. What would be a routine sky watching evening would turn anything but. At approximately 1:30 both my wife and I witnessed what we would both classify as the exact same event as described on July 27th, post 1 of 2. We saw what we thought was a shooting star entering the Earth’s atmosphere from the northeast at 30-40 degrees above the horizon on a bearing of 210. Just as we thought the object was about to flame out it immediately slowed down to the speed of a commercial jetliner and the brightness of a normal star. After approximately 5-6 seconds it accelerated to the same speed as it had entered the atmosphere and the same brightness. Needless-to-say, we were both left speechless. As a former pilot I have never seen an incident which left me wondering what it was I just saw. Whether or not this was military or something not from this Earth, I do not know. But what I do know, is what I saw. I not only saw it once, I have seen it twice. During both incidents, there was no alcohol involved as neither of us drink. We are both sound of mind and these are the first two incidents we have ever reported. I will state again, I know what I saw and it could not in any way shape or form be mistaken for something else.

Daughter and I we’re driving home about 10pm south of Maricopa. In the S/SE Sky was a fireball that split into 2 fireballs, then split into 3 fireballs. They were in a horizontal line then just went out.

Friend and I went on a boat ride to a sandbar we know at approx. 7:00 PM in Bayou Sara. We left at (estimated) 7:30 PM, headed North back towards Gunnison River. I looked eastward and spotted what seemed to be a orange/ yellow ball of fire moving incredibly slowly towards the south. I drew my friends attention to the object, to which after a few seconds of watching it said my thoughts exactly, “what the f*ck is that dude?”. I estimated it to be 2 miles away, 2,000 feet high, and moving towards the south at around 40 mph. We observed it moving for around 40 seconds, after which it appeared to dim and burn out over he course of 3-4 seconds. I remained unlit for 10 seconds or so and appeared to re-ignite itself back to its original luminosity. Moving the same speed and direction as before for 5-6 seconds, I appeared to dim itself for the final time, after which we never saw it again. There were no clouds in the sky, it was entirely clear at that hour. The objec! t had no blinking lights. The object also made no noise. Within 5 minutes we counted 4 helicopters and 3 jets flying over the objects general area, which we had not seen a single one the entirety that we were out there on the river. It appeared that they were scrambled to intercept the object.

On September 23rd at 21:24 I went in the backyard to smoke a cigarette. As I sat in a chair, in my peripheral vision I saw an unusual glow coming from southwest over my house. It was like a ball of fire that resembled the sun. It moved and a constant speed northeast directly over my yard. At one point it zigzagged a bit and seemed to deform a bit but then continued in its original path. I scrambled to grab my phone and was able to get two quick pictures of it. Later I realized I should have taken a video. Pictures are on my phone though.

On Sunday evening Sept 22nd we were sitting on our back porch after dinner, 5 adults. No alcohol was involved with dinner. We are all in our 50-60’s age wise. We all saw exactly the same thing. Slow moving orange lights coming up from the west and then moving north. At approx. 20:00 we saw these lights coming out of the west sky that were orange balls. Since it was the evening game for the Cleveland Browns we thought it was something flying up to the stadium?? There was no sound. They were very slow moving but they kept coming, 7 of them. They were flying too high to be luminaries. They flew north and then disappeared. My company left approx. 20:20 and saw them down the road now flying in a formation. There had been no news reports on the tv and we were surprised at this as they were in the air for some time. Due to the number and color of them we thought there would for sure be some report.

One family member saw something falling from the third floor. The sky was completely clear and the sun had recently set. Five people went to the third-floor deck to witness this object, which we assumed to be a meteor due to its round appearance and the trail it left. However, it remained in the sky for almost 10 minutes at dusk, while there was still light in the sky. For the first two minutes, we witnessed the object falling directly downwards at a slow pace. It then made a sharp 90 degree turn and continued to move in that direction, leaving an orange trail. It left our field of vision after 10 minutes of continuing to the left. We are still unsure as to if this was some sort of space debris, such as a meteorite, falling through the atmosphere but it does not seem to match the criteria. The object was far enough away that we did not think it would hit anywhere near us.

I was going to my car and my wife was standing about 40 feet in front of me looking in the opposite direction telling me to turn around. When I did I saw 4 firey objects moving in a circular motion, and then started to move in very peculiar motions as if it was a fly.

Coming home from work in Reno NV, I had just turned southbound on Saliman Rd, South of Fairview Dr., mid city Carson City facing a drk noncomercial area, no business lighting. Heading into a darkened residential area I saw a fireball come into view traveling from southeast direction at eye level in my mid-windshield view, at a roughly 45 degree angle moving south west. I would say the travel length was about 5-6 inches across my windshield. It was not a pinpoint meteorite type, but a flaming, blueish white object giving off sparks. What was unusual it started to darken as if expiring out, then re-enflamed for another 1-2 seconds continuing in it's steep decline. I estimate if it had continued after it extinguished it would have impacted in the Gardnerville Ranchos area, a housing area of homes & ranches at the base of the Sierra foothills. I did not see any impact flash or claim there was one, I'm just pinpointing the final phase of the fireball trajectory as it did extinguish slightly above my horizon view of homes maybe a mile in front of me. I am a senior, fully competent Cell phone customer representative & troubleshooter. I have reported maybe one simaler indicent 20 years ago while living in Burbank CA.

Large round red orb in top of tall pine tree. Became bright like a brake light that is ingaged. Then when light got bright it seemed to turn and became two lights. Then it tilted with one light lower than the other. Came back together and disappeared. Open field around tree.

While on 279 heading to Jackson Lake, seen a large orange and yellow "fireball". It quickly moved using a downward and to the right very fast and disappeared in the sky. I also lost cell signal for several miles and I usually do not lose a signal.

I was looking up at the sky and thought I seen a red dwarf star, then I realized it was moving North at a very high rate of speed. In a matter of seconds it was ok I sight. Maybe a minute later I seen another round orange object move over head at the same rate of speed, almost the same trajectory, then a moment later a third object followed the previous two. They maintained a straight flight path and was very high overhead one second and out of sight a few seconds later. Awesome experience!

A very bright light appeared from the northwest traveling to the southeast. The color temperature was fire- colored. The speed of travel was similar to an airliner. The size of the light was 2x to 3 x larger than normal airplane front lights. I grabbed binoculars and when I focused on the light the appearance was flame-like. There was no visible body shape. The height appeared to be a few thousand feet. As the light passed overhead the intensity receded in diameter but the brightness remained until it fell behind the tree, one permanently. I walked outside and saw what appeared to be an orange twinkling star like thing hovering over something. It was much lower than any plane would fly and my initial thought was why is that star so large and orange? I have never seen anything like this in all of my 35 years on this earth. I cannot stop wondering what I saw in the sky.i stared at it fascinated by the size color and twinkling.

We were star gazing, watching for meteors. Saw five or six shooting stars. Then around 2300 hrs., we saw what we thought was another shooting star that kept going, and then at the last second it darted back and forth in a zig-zag motion, shot straight up and disappeared. It was red in color the entire time, and came from the Southwest sky, went right below Jupiter (from our vantage point) and continued going East until it bounced back and forth before disappearing. It was small in size (same size as the meteors we saw) and there was no noise. Again, we thought it was just another meteor that was taking its time burning out until it did its zig zag motion.
