I’m hoping for some input on these and my gut says they’re some sort of satellite using an instrument that very briefly emits visible or IR light. I view the sky with very high-specification White Phosphor night vision 3-5 times a week. I use a dedicated video recorder that degrades the image somewhat but is the best solution I’ve found for recording through a night vision device. I watch the sky often enough that I’ve become quite skilled at identifying mundane objects: primarily satellites and how they reflect the below-horizon sun. The objects I describe below and have provided video of do not appear to be reflecting the sun on as they spin and they do not follow an orbital path. They appear to be geostationary or moving extremely slowly. What I’ve detected are “blinks” coming from an extremely high altitude, likely above the earth’s atmosphere. I have seen them at night (from 8pm to 11pm is my usual viewing time) and in the pre-dawn hour (5am to 6:15ish). I have seen them while facing Northeast, West, and South as these are my usual viewing areas. I don’t typically face sue North but may do so for the sake of additional data. Most “blinkers” are so dim they’re difficult or impossible to see on video but I see them clearly through my night vision device. The bright one in the video I’ve linked was, by far, the brightest I have seen. All of them blink at a regular interval but the interval varies. So far, the intervals have been 17 seconds, 31 seconds, 48 seconds, and 1:17 seconds. Those intervals are just for the ones I’ve watched long enough to start counting in my head. Another data point that indicates they’re not reflecting the sun: in some instances, I have been staring at one area of the sky for over a half hour before the blinks start and after approximately 10 minutes with no indication of movement across the sky, the blinks stop. Satellites reflecting sunlight don’t behave that way. The video I’ve linked happens to be the first time I’ve seen 2 blinking at the same time in the same area. Usually, I only see a single blinker. In the video, I first see the bright blinker at 0:13 in the lower left of the night vision tube, I then turned my attention to it and the bright blink is in the middle of the frame. At 2:08, the second blinker starts to the left, much dimmer than the initial one. If necessary, I can provide time stamps for every blink. Also, if it’s preferable for me to send the video directly, I can do that. The only editing I’ve done is slight cropping and I had to merge 2 clips as my recording device chops video into 5 minute segments. One clear calm night in August, while sitting in our hot tub behind our house, we observed three random very bright flashes of intense white light accompanied by no sound whatsoever. As we were in a reclining position facing east, we saw the first flash to our left and above the second story deck off the house.This immediately drew our attention to where the flash occurred and we commented on the brightness, what could have caused it and how close it might have been. Within about 30 seconds as we focused our eyes on the area above us, we both saw another bright flash directly overhead. It was so intense that we recoiled from the brightness. We both commented that it was like a flashbulb in close proximity, but we could not accurately judge how far away it was or the source. Over the next few minutes as we discussed what could cause these flashes, we became increasingly unnerved by the strange events. At that point, we talked about going inside. Suddenly, a third flash, of the same intensity came from a very low elevation to the north, this time. We saw it underneath the deck. Knowing the layout of our property and from our vantage point, we were able to judge that the flash was no more than 100 feet away and nearly on the ground or possibly touching the ground. It was then we realized this was much closer than we thought the first flashes may have been and not logically explainable. We hurriedly went inside for safety. It was some hours later that we summoned the courage to go outside with a flashlight and see if there was any evidence of the third flash, but found nothing. We have waffled for nearly a year as to whether or not we should report this, and finally decided to do it here. Thank you.

I was driving back from Honeymoon island state park driving around 4:30pm and driving 25mph exactly looking at everyone on the beach in the surrounding areas. In the distance ahead of me maybe no more than five miles max and about 2,000-3000 feet in altitude. Out of nowhere I saw a pulsating flashing white light with a silver metallic look appear out of no where heading in a northern direction then it disappeared within seven seconds it was gone.

Woke to take my dog for a walk at around 3:15 a.m. I tend to always look up at the night sky asking to see something and as of this morning it finally occurred. I saw what looked like a meteorite entering the atmosphere at my 3 o'clock position from where I was facing. Almost exactly after the brilliant flash I looked almost directly over me due to an object that took my attention moving silently in a straight path going to my 11 o'clock position. It should go to notice that the flash from the meteorite was vast apart as it was over the horizon and the ufo was closer as it seemed to be below clouds. The object seemed to be either round or at least partially circular and maybe cloaked to hide it. The best way to describe it is that the lights were blurred or had a strange glowing mist around them. It had maybe 10 lights in a line stacked in a curve that I could see.

Light was initially white, but then gained in intensity while assuming a blueish-green color just before disappearing as if a shade was pulled over it. Initially thought a plane was changing course as there is a major airport (KIAD) approximately 30 miles north. As I saw the flash dissipate, thats when I realized it was not a plane. I continue to look in the sky from marker lights to indicate a planes path, yet nonexistent after the flash. Sighted by technology engineer with military background.

My father and I were driving home after watching a movie along a dark street. Everything was quite dimly lit besides some streetlights, halloween decorations, and lit windows. High in the sky, at about the height a helicopter would fly, we saw a bright lime green light fall from the sky. It was about ⅓ the size of a helicopter and fell quite quickly so I could only see it for 2-3 seconds. It fell at a curve and had teal, what appeared to be, taillights. When it fell, it left a teal trail in the night sky about 5-6 feet from where it might have been a moment before. It was pure light so I couldn’t make out a shape but my father, who saw the object before me, said the light formed a circle around the object. When it fell I did see tiny specks of silver shining through the flash, not falling but being revealed. In short, it was a circle shaped bright lime green light that left a teal light trail. After 2-3 seconds passed the object lost all light and disa! ppeared from my view since, A, it blended into the night, and B, it fell behind some houses. It seemed to fall a few blocks away but I heard no crash so it could have dipped and turned its lights off before flying off again. We only saw one, but soon after the encounter I heard lots of helicopters outside.

My wife and I were sitting in the vehicle in the parking space of a friend of mines trailer. It was around 10 pm or after but not past 12 midnight. As we sat i for some unknown reason was drawn to look up and saw a very bright orange and red ball of fire streak across the sky. It was moving very very fast and literally there and gone in the blink of an eye. iT WAS MOVING IN A SOUTHEAST. ((name deleted)) and the spelling is correct was the second person in the vehicle a silver acadia. 2010 It was between aug to october my date and time is fuzzy because i was dealing with an emf situation and i had not had a chance but whatever it was was crazing down for sure because of the immense light and heat it was approximately maybe the size of a school bus to a vehicle. Hard to judge the size because it was so fast .

My wife and kids were out with the telescope in the front yard looking at the large clear moon. We were looking to the south. Above us and slightly to the west, a bright light shone (like a sudden star glowing bright- catching my attention) and it dimmed a bit and started moving towards the south. It moved south in a straight line for about a second before completely going out. It glowed again, this time further down the "line" it was traveling on but in the opposite direction (more north, away from where the light was going) and it happened again, the light got bright, dimmed a bit and moved to the south for a second and disappeared. Again it brightened but this time it was a little bit more north AWAY FROM WHERE THE LIGHT WAS HEADING and floated south again. This happened maybe 6 times then it vanished for good. My son was scared shitless. TL;DR - I saw a something in the sky get very bright for a moment, dim a bit as it moved south and disappeared momentarily before reappearing moments later further north; brightening again and slowly moving south before disappearing again only to reappear even MORE north and repeating this pattern about 6 times.

2 flashing green lights. 1 dark green, 1 pale green. Green light turned into a extremely fast “smear” of light with a subtle arc westward. Pale light flashed twice after that and “smeared” light easterly. Both lights were aligned with the Milky Way which was running north to south.

While staying at Ocean Isle Beach during the week of Labor Day, our family was on the crow’s nest of the home at around 9:30PM and we noticed one orange light coming toward us from the direction of North Myrtle Beach. It in few minutes, the one orange light turned into two orange lights. They were there for about 5 minutes and then disappeared. After the orange lights, we noticed flashes of white lights and while looking through the binoculars, we viewed lights sporadically flashing all around. The best way we could describe it is like floating glitter. This occurred for around 1.5 hours total. We have seen other things before in the sky, but this was really intriguing.

I was sitting outside, in the parking lot of an ice cream shop in Weymouth. It was dark outside, but clouds were still lightly visible in the sky. I happened to suddenly glance up and see a bright light fly across the sky to very quickly vanish into nothing. I would compare it to watching a firework shoot up into the sky, only this was much brighter and faster. And instead of pretty colors exploding, a quick flash of light went to nothing.

2 fast moving orbs, that quickly changed colors between red and white, moving in an not uniformed pattern over the ocean. Stopped abruptly and one after the other, flashed white to VERY bright orange, almost like an explosion and then completely disappeared from the sky.

I was driving and my boyfriend and I both just happened to look at the sky and saw a large what seemed to be close in the atmosphere above the tree lines It was a flash/light It hovered in one spit it was bright and honestly I best describe it as energy. And then it disappeared.

Sitting outside in Northwest Bakersfield, clear night, just happened to look up as an intense bright blue light in the sky about 200 yards up, flashed, burned out and left a small puff of smoke behind, which quickly dissipated. Absolutely no sound before, during or after flash. Initial thought was that it may have been a strange firework, or unusual rocket. But that theory was not plausible, being as no sound proceeded or accompanied it. It may have also been witnessed by an aircraft traveling south but at incredibly high altitude.

I was sitting on my sofa watching TV and the patio slider door was to my left. In my peripheral vision, I saw a very large, yellow, bright light which I believe moved from top of patio downward, but it was hard to say. It happened very fast. It was extremely bright. I went to look off my patio balcony and there was nothing. There were no people at all in the courtyard. I thought it was a firework, but there was nothing on the ground or anywhere and no people at all. When it happened, there was a slight whirring noise. It really rattled me

how can I say what I saw it was traveling fast as a falling star through clouds and before it was a military jet flying low about 20' from the tree tops and as it passed I was looking north and a bright light came out of the clouds traveling towards it's last seen direction I looked but couldn't see the jet or the light any longer as they must have changed trajectory in some event after the light traveled out of the clouds from an unknown origin

I was sitting out on my terrace with three other people. My two year old daughter saw a balloon floating upwards. I looked at the balloon and watched it disappear behind our building. I looked up again a moment later to see if we could still see it but instead I saw a glint of an object extremely high up in the atmosphere. The sky was blue and our terrace is shaded in the afternoon so I was able to look straight up and follow the glinting object. At first I thought it might have been the balloon, but realized it was way too high but also flashing green, and traveling in an unusual pattern high above us. The object seemed to flash on and off as we followed it. It was moving north. I know this because it was moving in an uptown direction. At times I would lose sight of the object against the blue sky, but then it would flash and I would see it again. The light seemed to stay on as it traveled and I would momentarily lose it and then see it again until it finally just seemed to disappear upward.

I saw it and it looked like a star. I stare at it and it started moving like a shooting star and eventually it stopped. Then it started moving again in irregular pattern here and there and then it started moving like if it was falling down. I followed it and it suddenly disappeared in front of me. I didn't had phone so I could not film it.

At roughly 20 minutes pass midnight on May 28th I observed an object traveling at very high speed fly at an arc several hundred feet from the ground and go out of my line of sight. The speed was similar to a jet making quick maneuvers at low altitude. The object was mostly a blue flash glowing bright, but the center looked more of a solid object. There was also no sound made by the object.
