Traveling East on HWY 16 between communities when the event occurred. Started off as a single green/blue light when it entered my line of sight and split into 3 lights traveling in tandem/tridem. The object/light was moving South East from the Northwest, seeming in a downward angle. The light(s) passed underneath the moon, starting above/beside on the west side and ending underneath on the east side. As it passed under the moon it broke into three identical lights before it disappeared. The object(s) traveled approximately 6-10 inches across my windshield before disappearing into the atmosphere.

I was on my balcony this evening, looking up at the sky SW of the Moon, when a sudden bright light, like a spotlight, appeared and then quickly disappeared. The light did not move or travel, it just flashed on and off. I observed the area for another five minutes or so but did not see anything else unusual. This flash of light was high up with the stars and bigger and brighter than the surrounding stars. Too high for a drone or helicopter and without the flashing lights of an airplane. I am mystified because I have never seen anything like this in my 50+ years.

As my partner and I exited our vehicles we both noticed off in the distance above the horizon approximately 10+ yellow/orange non flashing/flickering balls of light traveling west to east above 500FT and what appeared to be at least one mile away. These balls of light appeared to be absent of sound and traveled in groups. Travel direction and altitude remained constant until they reached a particular eastward point. Each ball of light (individually) accelerated instantly to incredible speeds and disappeared in the distance once at that point. Several photos and one small video were obtained during this sighting.

Dripping Springs, TX

I witnessed at least 75 slow moving white lights moving west, out of Austin, toward Dripping Springs. The objects were all the same size, not blinking, and moving randomly. Objects made no sound.

It was approx. 12:30am when I got up to closed my dining room window, which faces the Estrella mountains, I looked out and I saw 3 bright orange lights, they were not moving, they were in a shape of a triangle (one single one on top and 2 underneath, forming a triangle) I believe I even saw what I thought was a plane fly behind these orange lights. I went to wake up my boyfriend and when he got up to see what I was talking about, the orange lights faded away one by one. These lights were orange, very bright and very clear.

We were letting dogs out to go to bed. Noticed one then they started showing up everywhere. Flying fast from west to east. They flew faster than anything my wife or I know of, they seemed to have several different colored lights. More than a normal airplane. They were able to stop in position then move on quickly. Seemed like all the sudden they all disappeared. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Ithaca, NY

I am writing this on Thursday, November 10th, regarding a strange occurrence I witness Saturday, November 5th, between roughly 9:45 and 10:15 and again, briefly, on Sunday, November 11th. Last Saturday, my wife and I were getting ready to watch a movie. As she normally does when we watch a movie, my wife began making popcorn. I went outside to walk around. This last summer I purchased a FitBit (pedometer) and I sometimes walk up and down our long driveway to meet my step count goal. We live just outside the city, on the margins of town, so while we are not completely in the country we usually have a clear view, if it is not too cloudy, of the sky. On this Saturday night, many of the constellations were out, it was so clear. Pacing back and forth on my driveway, listening to a podcast on my phone, with my earbuds in, I was struck by a set of, what appeared to be, constellations roughly 30 degrees north east of our location. This pattern of what I presumed to be stars were among the lowest and closest to Earth of all the stars in the sky. What struck me upon given these “stars” a second look was that they were fading and reappearing with increments of maybe 3-5 second. Had it only been one light doing this, I would have quickly assumed it was a satellite, but this appeared different because satellites are never clustered. There were five, possibly six, of these lights, fading in and out of visibility, out of sync with one another. There was no specific clear pattern or shape to them, although they were spread out from each other in what looked like a skewed pentagon (like a small child attempting to draw a pentagon). One of the lights was somewhat more central to the others and the fading in and out appeared a second slower than the others, although it was hard to tell because, again, they were out of sync. Staring at this with some disbelief, I moved into the road for a clearer view. There was a large tree in the distance which I was using to gage the location and movement of this cluster. No movement was visible to the eye, but after about ten minutes I could see that this cluster had indeed moved northbound and lower toward the ground. Using my phone, I called my wife inside the house and asked her to please come outside to look at something. When my wife walked outside the door, I flagged for her to come over toward the road. I pointed to the cluster saying, “there is a cluster of what looks like stars over there”, while pointing vaguely toward their direction. I stopped myself, however, realizing this might plant a seed in her mind of what I wanted her to see. I wanted her view to be as objective as possible. My wife is much more of a skeptic than myself. She almost immediately noticed what it was I was talking about. She, too, found it very curious and unusual. Assuming there was probably an explanation, quickly getting cold (the temperature was in the lower-to-mid 30s), and hungry for popcorn, my wife, after a couple of minutes, went inside. I stayed a few minutes longer, so that I could store in my memory what I was seeing. After watching the movie, which I had trouble focusing on at first, I popped back outside to see if I’d notice anything else unusual. By this point, the sky had become so foggy that no stars or anything else were visible. I would have written this experience closer to the date it occurred, but having a 2-year-old, being a teacher, and on the cusp of an election, I had not found time to sit and write this until now. It is worth noting that the next night I did go out to observe. I noticed one light, slightly stronger than any I’d seen the previous night similarly fading in and out. On this night, unlike the night before, I was intoxicated and became anxious and panicked pretty quickly, so I only looked long enough (30-60 seconds) to confirm with myself what I was seeing, but otherwise went back inside rather abruptly. I have always had a long interest in UFOs and stories of encounters, so I am very familiar with phenomenon stories, though, prior to this, had none of my own. Knowing that I am prone to believe such events, it was important to me to get confirmation from my wife that the pattern I observed was both real and unusual. She agreed. Even this morning, when I told my wife I would document my experience, she again confirmed for me that this pattern was uncanny. Additionally, several dogs in the neighborhood were barking or howling. Also worth noting is that the pattern I witness was placed, more or less, over the vicinity of our local airport.

Charlestown, RI

As I was driving down a dark back road, not far from my home, I saw a round, yellowish-white light, about the size of a basketball, cross my path, east to west. The ball of light was about 15 feet in the air as I approached an intersection (4 way stop). The speed of the object I would guess was about 25mph. It went beyond my sight to my left. My former girlfriend told me several years ago about a similar incident regarding an identical object that crossed in front of her field of vision at a rural intersection near the RI/MA border late one night. That object, she related, was at 4 foot height, then crossed the road to climb over a church steeple, and disappear. I called the local TV station WJAR the next day to report her sighting and the news station manager acknowledged that three other reports of that object in MA were received by the station. He seemed unconcerned about it, not surprisingly. I believe that these 'probes' are more prevalent than is being reported.

Fairbanks, AK

This was on flight 2811 from Anchorage to Fairbanks (south to north). I was sitting in row 3 on the right side of the Q400, looking out to the east/northeast. As we climbed just above the cloud layer to cruising altitude over the Alaska Range, I first noticed 2 bright orange lights fade in and then out right above the clouds off to the northeast. The still bright "supermoon" was out, and the stars will clearly visible in the sky. I exclaimed "what was that?" out loud, but most others were sleeping or otherwise occupied. I looked for a reflection inside the aircraft that might have caused this anomaly, but seeing nothing I continued to press myself to the glass to look for it again. A few minutes later, several groups (2-3 in each tight group) of these bright lights appeared to the right of the moon, a little above the horizon. They almost looked like little flames fading in and out. They glowed bright, way brighter than stars. They would fade out, and then repeat again approximately 5-6 more times over the next 10 minutes. We were already beginning descent into Fairbanks, which was overcast and snowing. I kept watching for more, but lost the entire field of view as we descended into the clouds and then landed. Fairbanks was socked in with snow, so there was no way this could have been seen from town if looking southeast towards the Alaska Range. I have no idea what this was. My only thought was fighter jet engines burning in the distance as they did exercises? The lights were a fair distance away and didn't really move, however. They faded in and then faded out in place, about 8-10 seconds each time. I'm quite a skeptical person, but this is the strangest thing I've ever seen out of an airplane. Elkton, MD

I was leaving the royal farms in elkton, MD across from the super Walmart when I turned onto Pulaski hwy going south. As I was driving, I noticed in the sky in front of me 4 brighter then a star..lights in the shape of a triangle. The sky was completely clear except for the 4 lights. 3 where on the bottom in a row, the forth at the top. I made a right onto Delaware ave. When I looked back to see the lights...they where gone. When I got home, I googled the indecent (sic. incident) and that's how I came across this site. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous. PD

Burlington, WI

I was leaning against the car when I noticed three small lights in a blue sky with a few cirrus clouds. One bank of clouds covered all three, but I could see one faintly through the cloud. When I was certain it was still there when the cloud passed, I grabbed my phone for the camera.

Augusta, ME

Last night as my boyfriend and I was walking home from kmart we looked up in the sky and saw a HUGE bright white light. It was way too big to be a star. The weird thing about it was the part of the sky it was in was clear and to the west the sky was black and red....I'm aware that it could of just been the sun setting and the biggest star I've ever seen in my life but this was seriously creepy!

Woodstock, GA

Light, similar to a star, shot across the sky at an incredibly fast rate and then disappeared. Very low in the sky, much lower than a shooting star or plane/helicopter. Light was steady and white like a star, but did not dissipate when it disappeared, just turned off. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Charlotte, NC

In Charlotte, North Carolina (28227) at approximately 7:10pm, on Thursday, 11/03/16, my wife and I observed 15 white lights (circular) moving in formation and they appeared to be independent of each other. They were no brighter than the surrounding stars. They moved from the west going east (75 degrees WNW according to my cell-phone compass). They were directly overhead and appeared to us to be at an altitude of in-flight commercial aircrafts. They traveled as fast as commercial planes at cruising altitude. There was no sound and they traveled in a straight path. There was some position changing within the formation. According to weather.gov, the wind was calm at 18:53 and 5 mph from the SW at 19:53. Our observation was at 19:10. We did not feel or observe any wind. At first sight, I was alone. I saw 10 white lights (round) in a staggered row from left to right with 5 trailing in a 2-1-2 pattern. I went to get my wife so she could see/confirm. This took 15-20 seconds. Upon our return outside, the staggered row contained 12 white lights and three were trailing in a 2-1 pattern. They did not appear to blink, but periodically, a few would indiscriminately fade out then back to full glow. This process took 2-3 seconds. It was a clear, cloudless night. The total observation took 2-3 minutes. The lights were very similar to the lights videoed in Charlotte, NC, on 10/15 and posted to YouTube. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Newton, MA

Bright white round light about 3x-5x the size of brightest aircraft lights, alternatively flashing and solid but stationary, then switched to red lights similar to aircraft but extremely fast travel and a flight path that had a very sharp zig-zag and then continued out of sight. Jaw dropping. Assuming a highly capable military drone but just wondering if anyone else saw anything.

Congress, AZ

My mom, and her boyfriend and I were driving home from dinner. We went around the last round about heading out of town, on our way to yarnell. This round about is the last one off the US 60 before you take the road to congress. After going round, in the sky before was 3 glowing lights. They had an orange glow, and then looked as though shaped around something round. Then 2 sets of three more began to appear. It lasted maybe just a minute. We were all in shock, we knew it couldn’t be an airplane. We continued on and then on the road ahead of us for 6 minutes and we saw them again! But this time, only 2 sets of the 3. Same orange glow. I was on the phone when they appeared again, and this time my phone lost service as they appeared. The call dropped. They lasted maybe 30 seconds this time. Then within another few minutes, I saw them appear on the left side of the vehicle, now distant. Then didn’t see them again that night. But as I kept watching, I saw four or five airplanes flying towards where they were. I saw them everywhere and wondered why so many came all of the sudden.
