Didn’t notice a sound until watching video them could hear a definite Mechanicsville sound on video similar to a “ray gun”. Several people thought they saw something same evening in area but we are hesitant to put it out there to others.

Witness was enjoying the beautiful orange cast of a colorful sunset, upon the landscape in his rural yard, including dense trees. The treeline starts 200 to 400 yards away. He was seated on his deck facing east. A quiet time since there is very little traffic on his road and the birds were settling in for night. A fast moving object caught his eye above the trees headed directly west into the sun. It was a beautiful brown metallic structure. The intensity of sunlight made it shine and revealed shadows indicating layers of metal. It was submarine shaped only with sharper rectangular edges defining its exterior. It did not have an intake opening for jet a engine. It did not have a propeller. It made no noise. Silent and fast. He did not have time to grab a camera. His cellphone was in the house as he liked to enjoy nature without electronics. Just prior to this siting a bald eagle flew directly over the open part of the yard heading northeast almost at eye lev! el since their house is on an elevated part of the property. The navel base at Keyport, WA was lowering their flag just prior to the sighting. (MUFON CMS 94857)

on 15.5.2018 at around 3.25 pm I was checking the video quality of my new camera NIKON D5600. Later on on my computer screen I noticed a bird and something mysterious white colored object flying under the cloud at great speed. The nearest airport is approx 300 km from our place and my district town it is not a regular path of flights. The object was only visible as the background was dark cloud. It was neither a bird nor any commercial or fighter plane because of no apparent similarities or sound. The object appeared the size of a bird due to the distance but even if I enlarge it I cannot get the clear picture. I have tried several ways to find out the thing but it was moving too fast. May 15, 2018. Walking my dogs in a nearby school around 1 p.m. I noticed a white orb sitting high in the sky. The object was stationary. The temperature was mild with a nice breeze blowing. I realized that it was probably not a man made object. The elevation appeared as high a commercial jet in a regular high elevation flight. If there was a good wind on the ground then there would be high wind at that altitude. A balloon of any type could not stay that stationary and any tethering impossible. After around fifteen minutes the object had slowly drifted towards the West. I knew my sister had a good high resolution camera with a telescopic lens. I gave her a call and she saw and photographed it. The object this whole time was pretty much stationary with a little noticeable drift. I got home and tried to photograph it with my wife's camera but was not too successful. I got out my high powered binoculars and could see it fairly good. The object appeared oval. Insi! de the oval were too round ovals. In between the two interior ovals was dark dot. Everything except the black dot was a milky translucent and appeared to be illuminated. I bring this matter too your attention now because I did not knew that it was reported to a local news station. KMPH channel 26 Fox news. Le 09 mai 2018 à environ 19h30 un témoin depuis un terrain de rugby est intrigué par le passage dans le ciel d'une boule cylindrique très brillante et d'une boule noire. Cette dernière vient du NE et se dirige en direction du SO. Aucun bruit n'est entendu. L'observation dure environ une minute avant que le témoin ne perde le PAN de vue. Néanmoins, le témoin a le temps de prendre trois photographies. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli au GEIPAN. Le témoin est à la fois enthousiasmé et tracassé par son observation en ce sens qu'il souhaite vraiment une explication (ou une non explication ?). Il a en effet fait d'autres observations étranges dans le passé (sans tdéclaration au GEIPAN), il est documenté sur les ovnis, et cette fois l'espoir est grand car il a pris des photos. Il sera peut-être déçu par une explication qui ne serait pas à la hauteur de ses attentes. En effet, la vitesse de déplacement comme l'aspect du PAN sur la photo font nettement penser à un avion de ligne. Sur la photo non zoomée et équivalente à l’œil nu, l’avion n'est qu’un point brillant sans trainée (les trainées n'étant pas automatiques) et classique d'un avion. L'étrangeté pour le témoin a dû naître du zoom (ou d'une vision naturelle particulièrement acérée) qui fait apparaître la forme allongée sans ailes. De multiples exemples traités au GEIPAN montrent qu'il est fréquent que seule la carlingue réfléchisse le soleil et que l'avion apparaisse ainsi sans aille comme un cigare. C'est le cas en particulier quand le soleil est transverse à la carlingue et ne "voit" que l’épaisseur de l'aile, comme ici avec un soleil à 282° d'azimut orthogonal à la trajectoire NE-SO décrite pour ce PAN. Et la preuve est faite, puisque nous trouvons l'avion "en question". Comme le montre la reconstitution jointe, à 19H29 (heure de la photo), nous avons un avion qui va de NE en SO et dont l’évolution vue du terrain de rugby est conforme au témoignage. En particulier, la photo permet grâce au logiciel IPACO d'identifier la hauteur du PAN par rapport à la cime des premiers arbres bordant au sud le terrain de rugby. Ces arbres sont à une centaine de mètres, en considérant que le témoin est au milieu de la tribune. La hauteur de cime est entre 5° et 10° selon que la hauteur de l'arbre est de 5 ou 15 m (il y deux arbres de hauteurs différentes sur la photo). Ceci place le PAN à une hauteur dans le ciel aux environs de 35°, quand on rajoute les hauteurs mesurées sur la photo. Et c'est effectivement l'ordre de grandeur de la hauteur de l'avion qui est sur la capture radar à 12 km et 10,6 km d'altitude soit à 41° de hauteur dans la ciel. La différence s'explique par les inconnues et erreurs sur la position du témoin le long des tribunes, la connaissance de la hauteur des arbres ,de la synchronisation entre la photo et la capture radar de l'avion. Ce dernier s'éloignant rapidement en baissant de hauteur dans le ciel. Les PAN noirs mentionnés par le témoin sont plutôt des salissures sur l’objectif, elles sont d'ailleurs nombreuses. En conséquence le GEIPAN classe le cas en A : avion. [GEIPAN classification A — Avion de ligne]

On the evening of April 26, 2018, I was in our backyard, when I saw a airplane heading North from the Portland area when I noticed another object traveling at the same speed but was much smaller and trailing the aircraft. The smaller object had no visible angles or lines like the larger aircraft had and seemed strange to me since if it were a smaller plane it would have had some distinctive lines to the shape. I video taped it with my phone and when the video starts you can enlarge the picture to see this object which appears to be round in the video and not like a smaller plane.

This was definitely one of the strangest things that I have ever seen. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. My wife and I were on the back deck enjoying the weather. I noticed an object come into view over the top of the trees toward the rear of our property. We have large cliffs in our backyard with trees on top, so the height of the object was about 200 ft and about 500 ft away. At first, I did not know what I was looking at. I then realized that it was something highly unusual. It had no wings; it was cylindrical and was spinning on its long axis. It was about 10ft long by 5ft wide. It was spinning clockwise. I stepped off the deck and walked into the yard to get a better look of it. What I know now is that it was keeping a consistent height off the ground to the top of the trees, so as it cleared the cliff area it got closer to the ground. I got as close as I could to it and starred at it intensely. It was spinning about one revolution per second and moved i! n a straight line at around five miles per hour. It was completely silent. There was something like a pipe that was on its side that was attached at a slight diagonal. I remember the color as a dark gray and also brown. I watched it as it moved away. Looking at it, I felt a strange sensation of an otherworldly presence. I noticed a part on top of the object that I did not see from the side. The fact that the entire object was spinning leads me to think that it may have been “morphing” or changing shape. The object moved away in a very strait and precise line. It was moving so steadily that it appeared to be shrinking in size opposed to getting farther away. I have never seen anything in the sky travel in such a precise strait line and so smoothly. It traveled across the valley and over the tops of the trees. That was it.

The incident occurred on 3/30/18. I was lying on my couch facing the large windows (which face west) in our living room (curtains were open). It was after 8:30pm. I saw a glowing orb in the night sky. I had seen the full moon that night but I knew it was on the other side of the house. Still, I thought, “That’s not the moon is it?” and went up to the window for a better look. I’m skeptical of UFO sightings but had to take a closer look. I ran outside. There were some wispy clouds in the east but in the west the night sky was perfectly clear. There were big trees in the way so I walked onto the sidewalk and saw a dirigible shaped aircraft that was completely glowing or lit up. The entire thing was lit up or glowing, much like the moon. In the low center of the aircraft, off to the right, was a blinking red light. The craft was flying low (although well above the trees) and traveling at a steady pace and headed north. I saw no exhaust or smoke. I walked up the street and followed it for a bit wishing I had my camera. I was completely sober. I had just come back from a Good Friday program at my church. At the closest range it was probably a little smaller than the size of my palm if held up away from me. It seemed to be going away from me so was probably on a northwest course. As I followed it I thought, “It’s probably a dirigible.” But I’ve never seen anything like it. The blinking red light has made me think it’s something from earth, since that’s what all of our airplanes have on them. But I’ve never seen anything like it. Of course, I had never seen a stealth fighter before I actually saw one. But why would the government make something that glows?

Was visible about 4 secs but he lost it when he had to look away. His wife (not with him at time) said someone else had reported an object on the radio station she listens to. My wife and I were returning to Baltimore from San Diego on SWA flight 612 on 3/12/2018. We had been in the air for approximately 90 minutes (4:00 PM PDT) so we were at our cruising altitude of 36,000 to 40,000 ft and I would guess we were somewhere over Arizona in a NE direction. We were sitting on the right side of the plane in row 5 or 6 and I was sitting in the window seat. I looked out the window and I noticed a strange form that was flying alongside the plane and appeared to be looking at me. It was dark/grayish (almost black) in color and while it had defined boundaries to it shape it appeared to be fluidlike in substance. It was traveling alongside the plane and at the same time it was moving in an undulating fashion of up/down and side to side as a snake slithers but mixed in with that was the up/down of a roller coaster – moving in all directions at once. The form had facial like features and appeared to be looking at me. Best guess is that it was less than 100 feet from the plane and there was no observable noise that was heard during this event. The form gathered itself vertically and pulled itself from a length of seven feet into a form that was 12-18 inches in length. It was in the shape of a cylinder much like a gallon of paint and the facial portion of it was still looking at me. It maintained this form for approx. 2-3 seconds and then it turned southwest and disappeared at rocket speed in less than two seconds. I was unable to snap any photos and had no knowledge than anyone else observed what I had observed. I did tell my wife, who was sitting in the aisle seat that I had seen something strange out the window. My thought was that I would speak to the pilots when we landed at BWI and inquire as to whether they had seen what I had seen. Upon landing @ BWI, I realized that the pilots had paperwork/reports to file and would be tied up for a while in the cockpit and that I couldn’t hold up the line of passengers who were ready to get off the plane after being inside it for almost five hours. As we stood up to leave the plane, I did tell my wife that I wish that I had gotten a picture of what I had seen. At this time, the two ladies that were in the row behind my wife and I heard what I said about wishing that I had taken a picture and they excitedly said to me “You saw it too”! I replied yes, I had, and we chatted briefly. They agreed with what I described and saw the same phenomenon that I have detailed here. Here is where I made another mistake by not getting the name of either one of them. I have a close friend who is a retired SWA pilot. I spoke to him last night, 3/18/2018, and he is going to try to attempt to learn the names of the pilot and co-pilot of SWA Flight 612 on 3/12/2018. If he is successful, he will contact them and hopefully give them my contact info or in a worst-case situation, detail to them what I have described here. Occurred approximately 4:05-4-15 PM PDT. I wrote the below description in the notes of my phone within 10 minutes of the above described incident. "Something strange/weird out plane window. Looked like flock of martins (birds), or huge swarm of bugs. Couldn’t get phone unlocked to get picture. Was moving as big black blob, but suddenly swooped up & was gone in an instant the opposite direction that we are heading. Was near our same altitude. Women sitting behind us confirmed what I saw. We talked about it as we were getting off plane. Described same thing that I saw." We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite serious in his demeanor, and sober-minded. We suspect he is an excellent witness, based on our conversation with him. PD

A stationary cylinder shaped object was seen hovering just below cloud level. It was metallic looking with no exterior lights. At first I took it for a flock of birds, but then realized it was a single object of undetermined size. It did not move for approximately 1 minute, it then moved rapidly laterally to the West and then rapidly up into the clouds in a motion impossible for any aircraft.

I was in my back yard which is open and looks into my neighbor's back pasture at about 1410 hours. There was a bright sunshine with almost no clouds present. I caught sight of a silver object, in flight, moving at a high rate of speed across the neighbor's pasture. The object appeared to be a bright metallic silver color and cylinder shaped. I would estimate the size of the object to be 3 foot tall by 2 foot wide. The vehicle was travelling from the SSE to the NNW and appeared to be flying a set altitude from ground level; which would vary according to the topography of the pasture. I was, at most 1000 feet from the object at my initial observation and 75 feet from the object when it disappeared over the neighbor's house and trees. There were no discernible markings or features to be seen on the object. No sounds were heard that would have indicated a conventional propulsion system. There were no anomalies noted that could relate to the sighting. A! lthough a short duration observation I was able to estimate the speed of the object by calculating the distance seen in flight versus the time of observation. The vehicle was travelling approximately 250 MPH. Coincidentally, this sighting occurred the same day as the USAF's NORAD was engaged in a training exercise in the DC area; Falcon Virgo 18-05. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite sober-minded, and sincere. We suspect that he is an excellent witness. PD

I was driving home from seeing my mother, this is a two-hour drive. The time was 6:07 pm. I know it was that time because I was using voice dictation to talk to my brother and sisters. I voice texted them to tell them I was seeing a long black something in the sky, with a long black smoking tail, like a comet. This object was traveling from west to east, and from my left slowly banking to my right. It went straight for a while before it made a small angle to the right like it was bending to the right, and then up into the clouds. It was long, black, and cylindrical. There were no wings I could see, nor were there any lights. This was at dusk, usually if there is a jet flying with a smoke exhaust, it is lit up with evening light, but this was pure black. A very odd experience. ((ADDENDUM #1 FROM WITNESS)) I have uploaded a drawing of what I saw...to the best of what I could on the back of an envelope, the only thing on me at the time. I can't get over what my eyes were seeing, nor how black this entire object and smoke were. I have also uploaded a map. I was between the towns of Bowdle and Roscoe on Highway 12. I voice texted my brother and sisters and asked them to go outside to see if they could see anything just in case it was higher up...my brother is in Mobridge, SD, my sisters in Wanblee, SD and Lander, WY. I just wanted someone else to see what I was seeing but there was no one. ((END ADDENDUM #1)) ((ADDENDUM #2)) When I got home and thought about it, I thought, maybe it was a rocket...?? I don't know...as far as "up"...the drawing is showing it as it appeared in my front windshield as it passed over me...I had a sense something was up there...like in a peripheral view? And as I looked up, I would estimate from my steering wheel to the left corner edge of my front windshield when I first noticed it. I didn't hear any noise, so I am assuming it was pretty high up, which made me think of a jet but as I watched it, and the road as I was driving, I thought it was odd, no wings, no lights. South Dakota is wide open spaces and we see a lot of jets overhead, you can make out wings and blinking lights and this had none. Also...in western South Dakota is the Ellsworth Air force base. Could it have been a rocket? I don't know...?? ((END ADDENDUM #2)) ((BEGIN ADDENDUM #3)) On this map, if you look between the towns of Mobridge and Aberdeen, is Highway 12. I was traveling that highway. Between the towns of Bowdle and Roscoe, I would estimate about 8 to 10 miles west of Roscoe on that highway, I am traveling east at about 68 miles per hour, cruise control. At 6:12, I have a text message to my siblings because I stopped in Roscoe for a few minutes to send them a text about my thoughts. They were texting me to film it, but I can't film and drive at the same time. I suppose I could of stopped but I really didn't want to. I didn't think to look at a mile marker. As for the size, I thought it was the size of a airliner? I had to look up sizes of airlines, bigger than a private jet, smaller than a, say United Airlines plane...I know there are various sizes. Reason for report: Flight of an unknown craft sighted as I climbed up the pass near Mt. Ashland, OR, ~1045 hours PT, 04 Feb 18. Sky conditions: It was a bright blue sky with a very thin altocumulus cloud layer, visibility unlimited. Mt. Shasta was clearly visible to the south when I stopped to take a photo of the exhaust trail of the vehicle I observed. Narrative: On 04 February 2018, I was driving on I-5 southbound in steep and winding terrain in the mountain pass near Mt. Ashland. I saw what appeared to be a missile launch rising straight into the sky above the terrain, distance unknown, at a high relative speed. [One of my friends lives just a few miles north of the Modesto, CA, airport: judging from air traffic approaching the Modesto Airport (on the Bay Area DYAMD arrival), the vehicle or craft I observed was flying at approximately 4 times the speed of the aircraft approaching the Bay Area from the east.] I observed a large smoke plume, semi-conical in shape, as the vehicle shot upward; there was a slight break in the exhaust trail, then another just below the vehicle. The upward part of the vehicle was partially obscured by a cone-shaped cloud typical of a craft passing transonic speed. See diagram #1. It caught my eye because it was a straight climb upward, at a very high rate of climb and speed. As I was driving in steep, winding terrain, I had no opportunity to photograph what I saw until a few minutes later, I began the descent into California. I stopped my car and took a photo of the exhaust trail which was still visible though fading somewhat. I do have an operating high definition dash camera with a f/1.4 lens which recorded the event. (Please see the DVD enclosed.) The vehicle itself (please refer to diagram #2) was highly reflective; the upper part was tapered, though not with a sharp point; the lower portion was cylindrical and seemed rounded at the base: the overall shape was cylindrical, somewhat like a gelatin capsule. I observed the craft until it reached the thin, partially-broken cloud layer above me: though the layer was not very thick and afforded a clear view of the sky above, the vehicle disappeared. I want to make this very clear: this was not a contrail of a high-altitude aircraft approaching me from the south. Those contrails are seen well above the horizon: this craft was distinctly visible, climbing at a very high relative speed, unlike an aircraft approaching at a distance at high altitude with a thin contrail. The vehicle was climbing beneath the cloud layer upward at an incredible velocity, initially leaving a pillar of smoke or exhaust, and had a cone-shaped cloud surrounding the upper portion of the craft. Other significant factors: Also visible were two high-speed flights of military aircraft, very small jets (from my perspective); there was a flight of two, flying in tight formation, and another group of three in a triangular formation, sighted when I stopped to photograph the exhaust trail of the vehicle. These aircraft appeared to be flying at an altitude not more than 50% of Mt. Shasta’s elevation above the mountain (21,000-22,000 feet?) and no lower than the peak of Mt. Shasta. What type of aircraft these were is unknown to me, but they were small, flying in formation, at high speed.

On Jan. 2, 2018, my husband (former airline pilot with 22,000 hours) and I were traveling on Lamar Ext. (Hwy. 78), coming our of Olive Branch, Mississippi to Memphis. Just before the Tennessee line, I witnessed two cylindrical objects or shadows moving vertically over the face of a full wolf moon. My husband viewed one, and I viewed both. #2 was higher than #1. He was driving and #2 was out of the bright face of the moon and could no longer be seen when he observed #1. Once the objects or shadows were out of the bright face of the moon, they were no longer visible. Other people viewed this I am sure, speak up.

Saw object over trees. Thought it was fireworks because of the holiday, but it headed south in a straight line, then made a V-pattern to the east. It went back to the original line it was traveling on, then stopped. After stopping for a few moments, it continued and stopped again, and did this one more time. It then made what seemed like a 90 degree turn, directly away from me, into the upper atmosphere and disappeared.

Saw a white cylindrical object with a dark band around the middle (possibly an indented band with the dark coloring being shadow). Was floating above a store, saw it while I was driving. Watched it for maybe two minutes until I'd gone too far to see it anymore. When I first saw it I saw it from the front, directly ahead of me, and saw that it was cylindrical in shape. As I got farther I saw it was round on the side, confirming the cylindrical shape. It stayed completely stationary. Somewhat windy day, NW 11 mph. 8 degrees outside and nearly completely clear skies. The object was maybe 20-40 feet above the building, can't remember what store. I think it was on Black Bridge Road, perhaps. I was a little too shocked to take photos or even mention it to the other passengers unfortunately, but I will email illustrations. Observer background: I grew up in Wisconsin. I was previously a mechanical engineering student in Boston, Massachusetts, now I'm an illustration student in Missouri.
