Middle of the Caspian Sea directly east of Baku, Unspecified
I was flying 37,000 feet above Baku and could see directly in front the Caspian Sea. It was night time very early in the morning (13 Zulu). My Co-pilot said look over there. It was 10 degrees below the horizon. I started to make some calculations to understand where in elevation it was. It looked like bright planet but it was 10x times the size of the planet. The light started to descend and then moved 20 degrees above the horizon. Then it took off at an incredible speed going towards Kazakstan. This was definitely not the orbital station because it was way faster. It was probably 150 km in front of us.

The craft moved slowly eastward as it changed brightness every few seconds then an airliner appeared under it in the sky and it disappeared. Possibly a lone satellite not starlink I looked at it using 15 power binoculars [NUFORC annotation: Satellite - Possible]

Les deux témoins se trouvent sur la terrasse de leur maison située à Quimper (29) le 16 octobre 2023 lorsqu'ils observent dans le ciel à l'ouest, vers 21h15 un phénomène consistant en trois points faiblement lumineux orange , délimitant un triangle pour T1, se déplaçant sans bruit, horizontalement, selon une trajectoire rectiligne régulière et à une élévation d'environ 20°. Aucun bruit n'a été perçu par les témoins qui ont observé le PAN pendant quelques secondes avant qu'il ne disparaisse masqué par une maison du voisinage. La consistance* est bonne, avec deux témoins dépendants ayant chacun complété un Questionnaire Technique, mais sans photo ni vidéo du PAN. Une enquête terrain a par ailleurs été menée avec réalisation d'entretiens cognitifs. *Selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d'informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. Le fort niveau d'étrangeté perçu par les témoins est lié (particulièrement pour T1) à la vitesse élevée du PAN. Ceci est dû à l'absence de repère visible dans le ciel de nuit qui ne permet pas de le positionner en terme de distance. De ce fait sa perception est qu'il est beaucoup plus loin et plus rapide (500 à 1000m de distance, avec une vitesse de 300 à 500m/h). Egalement, la forme triangulaire composée par les 3 points lumineux évoluant ensemble l'a orienté vers une hypothèse «aéronef » aux caractéristiques atypiques (forme, silhouette translucide, qui glissait dans l'air) sans entrevoir la possibilité que les 3 points soient dissociés. L'enquête a examiné plusieurs hypothèses (voir le compte rendu d'enquête) : celle d'aéronefs a rapidement été éliminée en raison de l'absence de bruit, de la position atypique de l'ensemble formant un tout incliné en permanence à 45°et de l'absence de traces radar. L'hypothèse de drone n'a pas non plus été retenue, en raison de la taille importante de l'ensemble, qui aurait impliqué une distance faible, non compatible avec l'absence de bruit, ou la présence simultanée de 3 appareils. L'hypothèse de l'observation de trois lanternes célestes s'est avérée être incompatible avec l'orientation du vent, au sol et en altitude. Enfin, la dernière hypothèse, celle de l'observation de trois oiseaux au plumage ventral blanc s'avère être la plus plausible pour les raisons suivantes : - La couleur orange est compatible avec celle d'oiseaux dont le plumage ventral blanc est éclairé par les lumières urbaines de la ville de Quimper (en octobre 2023 de nombreux lampadaires produisant une couleur orange (vapeur de sodium) étaient encore actifs dans les rues). - La forme, ponctuelle, de chaque individu traduit un certain éloignement et donc une taille angulaire très petite rendant difficile pour les témoins la perception des détails (ailes...). Les calculs montrent une taille angulaire inférieur au degré pour chaque individu d'un groupe de trois oiseaux évoluant à leur vitesse de croisière à une distance comprise entre 74 et 93 m. Les conditions d'observation (de nuit, avec un faible contraste et une durée d'observation très courte) n'ont pas permis aux témoins de voir autre chose que le corps des oiseaux, réduits à une simple forme ponctuelle. - Par ailleurs, l'angle d'observation (20° au-dessus de l'horizon) ne permet pas de voir les ailes de manière intégrale, pour un vol «à plat », horizontal par rapport au sol, des oiseaux. - Nous notons la divergence d'évaluation entre les témoins, T2 évoquant trois lumières indépendantes, tandis que T1 perçoit un triangle avec trois lumières orange, ce qui est symptomatique d'une illusion perceptive causée par l'apparence identique des trois lumières se déplaçant simultanément dans la même direction. Nous avons enfin sollicité auprès de l'association «Bretagne Vivante » une expertise sur cette hypothèse. Cette association de protection de la nature, confirme qu'il s'agit possiblement de l'observation de 3 oiseaux de l'espèce héron garde-boeuf, très présente sur Quimper et qui se déplace de nuit. L'association précise qu'il pourrait s'agir de trois de ces oiseaux rejoignant tardivement leur dortoir. Le GEIPAN classe ce cas d'observation en «B » : observation probable de 3 oiseaux éclairés par des éclairages urbains. [GEIPAN classification B — Oiseau]

I left my house and noticed two bright orbs. I was able to get parallel on parmer/1431 and got pictures. Once I arrived at 1320 Arrow Point in Cedar Park, I saw two orbs to the east, but then one seemed to have dissipated leaving one. I pulled up to the top of the parking lot and noticed two additional orbs to the west. I was able to get footage and realized an additional smaller orb left an orb making it three to me west. I would say it lasted closer to 30 minutes. Once I left, the area everything was gone.

During a night time training for airport employees, someone pointed out a large, orange orb maneuvering about 10 degrees above the horizon. It appeared like an aircraft landing light flying through a cloud, or like a street light in fog. Stars could be seen clearly behind the orb, confirming that there were no clouds in the area. Additionally, to the south of the orb, there were aircraft flying. These aircraft looked completely different. It was noted that there were no red or green lights associated with the orb, as would be expected from an aircraft. As someone that has worked in aviation for many years, it was very clearly not an aircraft light. The orb seemed to be radiating energy, as opposed to just being a light. The orb was maneuvering in a manner that seemed very controlled (slowly changed course). After about 30 seconds, it appeared to slowly dim until it was gone. According to ADSB data found on FlightRadar24, there were no aircraft in the vicinity of where the orb was spotted. In terms of size, it appeared very large, although we could not see any kind of craft at all - just the haze around it. The associated video was taken near when the orb dimmed out. It had already started dimming, and appeared much brighter than it did by the time the video was recorded.

I was traveling from Las Vegas, Nevada to Syracuse, NY via plane. About 1.5 hours from landing I saw odd colors and geometric shapes peaking through the clouds. Nothing on land would have shined so bright through the clouds.

My husband pointed out the object in the sky as we headed East on the 134 approaching the 210 freeway East in Pasadena. We agreed that it was not a plane. It did not move. Appeared to be rectangular in shape. Clearly white in color. It just disappeared without traveling. During the day, sun was over our car. About 15 seconds duration of our observation.

I was seated in seat 4A window seat on Allegiant Flight 3145, an Airbus 320 aircraft, that was at 34,000 feet cruise altitude at 450 knots (as related by the piloting air crew). As I glanced out the window I witnessed an oblong, cylindrical wingless object at an estimated 15-20 thousand foot altitude. This object was on a course parallel to Flight 3145 but on a 180-degree trajectory. Allegiant Flight 3145 was out of Austin-Bergstrum International Airport, Texas, with a destination of McGhee-Tyson Airport, Knoxville, Tennessee. The object was visible for an estimated ten seconds off the port side, below and disappeared aft. At the completion of my flight I spoke to one of the pilots after I identified myself with identification and asked if they had had a radar contact at this estimated altitude at 08:58 CDT during our flight. This pilot stated that the flight crew had not had a radar contact at that time. I asked if this observation was reportedable to the FAA and he stated that it was. A check of the FAA website referred me to your site after a second search. The object was completely white, cylindrical without lights and without wings. Estinated size was comparable to an airliner. Weather was scattered clouds and the object was above cloud level. My professional background is that as a paramedic with thirty-four years experience as both paid and volunteer.

I just got done taking my sister home, my mom and I were headed home I’m driving and all the sudden in the dark sky I clearly see fast moving green objects. I right away got my moms attention to the sky and we were amazed. Seen nothing like that ever before, they were going faster than anything I’ve ever seen in the sky. They were green balls of light zooming across the sky. I was able to get my phone out and start recording unfortunately all I was able to get was a short clip of the green little things because of my windshield being in the way, when I slowed it down I got 2 short imagines of them. Shortly after I saw a beam go across the entire sky. I don’t know where it came from or if it was local police looking in the sky or if it came from these objects.

Camera alerted to activity in the driveway. It appears to be a beam of some kind from the sky starting in the top left frame. You can see the beam hit through the two trees in the lawn, but terminates into an orb instead of hitting the ground. The orb periodically splits into two and reforms into one again. If you look closely there is a black line in the orbs when they split and reform, the line alternates from one side to the other. Once the orbs reform into one orb the line is gone. The beam also hits the siding of the house at the top of the frame at the end creating another orb reflection perhaps. It is not acting like a laser or other source of light beam. It never reflects off of the ground. We suspected it was the vehicle reflection that later passes, but it doesn't make any sense as it would be impossible to hit the top of the trees and leaves straight down from the sky. On 10/15/2023 at approximately 0723 Hours I noticed the light by chance as I merged from buena vista road in Ione, Ca onto highway 88 going east towards Jackson, Ca . The sun was bright and there was some condensation trails in the sky . As I admired the sky for a brief moment I noticed a small star like light that was light green or blue, possibly both . I noticed the odd star like object was bouncing and at first I thought it was a drone but realized it was not because the aerodynamics of the object was wrong and the altitude of the object was rather high in the clouds . It bounced and reversed up and down and then left and right he and would come to a sudden stop . The object then shot up into a condensation cloud left by an aircraft in the sky that was already dispersing . I attempted to video the object but only caught slight glimpses of it that are hard to differentiate on film . The object seemed to be flying/hovering over Jackson,ca or it could have been further east in the foothills as it was hard to judge distance . The sighting only lasted a few moments and then it was gone . I saw no trace of the object the rest of my ride home . For being very bright already outside I ruled out stars and the movement of the object and altitude rules out drones.

It appeared as if it was moving up and down a little bit to the side but it definitely look like it was spinning rotating and the lights were yellow and red coming off of it. You can kind of see an aura. My video shows it really quite clear but you have to zoom in with my phone while you’re playing video, it appears to change shape or the light patter and then would just hover and stay still then appear spinning.. i took pictures but, the pictures appear that it’s at a 45° angle and you can see the light shooting off of it as a beam like a 45° beam but when you zoom in in the video it looks completely different than a picture.the pictures appear that it’s at a 45° angle and you can see the light shooting off of it as a beam like a 45° beam but when you zoom in in the video it looks completely different than the picture. It was diamond shaped, high up in the sky, and kept hovering up and down, left to right, diagonally. It was far to high in the sky to be a drone, it didn't go on a trajectory the way a plane or satellite or even shooting star would travel. This thing was hovering. At one point it shot up high in the sky and slowly came back down. The lights were shining what looked like orange/green/purple and bright white. My son says he saw red/blue/bright white. IT DID NOT SHINE LIKE AIRPLANES DO meaning each colour 1 at a time. This was shining all the colours at once, not blinking green then orange then purple, it was all at once. The movement was irrational. And it went from my southern sky on one side of this downward pointing arrow constallation to the western sky, on the other side of this constallation. It zoomed to the west and back so quickly, i leaned forward and ripped the screen off my window, from the force of my head going right, trying to follow and just as quickly was back in the south area. It stayed in its "grid" for lack of a better word, hovering left, right, up and down, and the only time it didn't stay in the same grid was when it shot to the west, and periodically, maybe 10-12 times in the 3 hours I was watching it, it would shoot up high really fast then come back down at a slower speed, sometimes coming back down diagonally. I've seen airplanes in the sky, I've seen different satellites and I've seen shooting stars, bright red balls, all fly in the sky in my 44 years on this planet. This thing was NOT moving in a trajectory. It was going all over the place and stayed there the 3 hours I was watching. I ended up going to bed around 7:15, it was still there but the sky wasn't as black, it was starting to get grey and the things was still brighter in the sky than the stars. I swear this to be the truth, on everything I hold dear in my life. I'm scared. I've never experienced something like this and I see weird but explainable things in the sky often. I tried using my tablet to capture videos but my tablet is not great and it just looked like a star in the sky. I can say this however. It did NOT look like the videos some people sometime post where you see an actual structure in the sky, unmoving with lights. This looked like a star in the sky, but the lights and the colours were like no other star in the sky. It was at least 5 times the size of the northern star and at least 10x brighter. This thing was very bright. It made no sounds that I could hear, it did not land or anything like that. It just kept hovering in different directions, sometimes stayed in place, brightly shinning lights, and occasionally going really up high and slowly coming back down. Only once did it zoom in a blink to the west and back. Please note that although it was technically hovering like a drone, no civilian drones ive ever used or seen, goes that far up in the sky and would shine that bright when that up high. Like I said, this thing was much brighter than any star in the sky

Wife and I have observed numerous unusual lights in the last 6 months. We see airplanes/helicopters daily due to small airport close by and KCI being not too far. But in the last several weeks we have seen 3 or 4 separate ufos. The first was about 2 or 3 weeks before the latest last week. The first was a bobbing light that would skip ahead suddenly then return to bobbing across the sky. We observed it for several minutes before it disappeared behind the roof. Seemed several 1000ft in the air.. Tried to take photos. But all 3 turned out as streaks on the camera phone… Then last week I noticed an object moving fast about 2-300 ft off the ground going over our house.. Took me a minute to realize what I was seeing and pointed it out to my wife. It seemed to be an object or objects in a cloud of mist. It almost seemed to be changing shape or the mist was distorting the shape. No sound at all. We sit on our back deck to smoke and are avid sky watchers. We have seen skylink and other satellites on several occasions. But what we have seen lately is beyond our experience.
