Two or three dozen white lights moving north. They would've passed for stars if stationary. Most were fairly close together with four or five stragglers. The lights did not blink and there was no sound. Seemed to be very high up.

About an hour ago, while walking my dog, I looked to the southwest and noticed what I thought was an airplane flying towards Panama City. The object was very bright and moving faster than a commercial flight could, and after 30 seconds, or so, dimmed and disappeared completely. I am curious if anyone else saw this. My friend and I were night fishing for walleye on Fontana Lake. The moon was almost full, which allowed us to see very clearly even though it was 1 am. As we trolled the bank, we noticed a glowing ball traveling parallel over the mountain top. The object moved slowly at a steady pace. After watching it for about 10 minutes, we decided to try and get video. As my friend was preparing his camera, the object disappeared, as if the light just “went out”. As soon as the camera was up and running, it reappeared, along the same path and direction it had been traveling. We got about 10-20 seconds of the object, at which point it disappeared for the last time. We never saw it again. I stopped and looked at it, and noticed it was flying in circles and zig zags, the light got brighter and dimmer over time and when I saw it the clearest I noticed it had 3 lights in a triangle formation. When the three lights were observable, dogs in the neighborhood began barking. I observed this object for about an hour before it just vanished. Possibly Jupiter?? PD

Saw 2 lights side by side. Sure it was one craft. Was about the same size as the stars but brighter. Moved from my far right to my far left while slowly moving up and down. No noise. Not a plane or anything I've seen before. I have lived near The Space and Rocket center for 25yrs. Very fast. Faster than any jet or airplane. From my view the round lights were about a 1/4 in. apart, horizontal never vertical. I noticed my computer humming/static and the electricity in the house went on and off 3xs before I went outside to look up. I was watching the space station. I saw a small light like a star east of Albuquerque. It was moving up and S to N very fast. It appeared to travel 50 + miles in less than 5 seconds. I would guess it was 50 to 75 miles away.

Once the light went out, I went into the patch of trees to investigate and had the overwhelming feeling that I was being watched from all directions. I ended up losing 3 minutes (I checked my watch several times because I needed to make curfew). The next morning I woke up with a bleeding hole in my neck, as if I'd been bitten by a horsefly, and it was painful to touch. We have e-mailed a request to the witness, requesting that she have the wound on her neck photographed. PD

We were walking in my backyard, hatching pokemon go eggs, we often look up, rarely we see something. First time reporting anything. Anyway, I looked up facing Northwest when I noticed a light. Pointed it out, watched it for a moment before it faded out. At first we assumed it could be a satellite, was the same blueish tint. (could still be) Sunlight reflects off them sometimes. We waited, still looking, and saw another one; slightly brighter, a bit white, follow in the same path. We were looking past our shed and saw them appear again, visible between the tree branches. The smaller light quickly looped around the large light, faded out. The larger light went back the direction it came, fading out almost instantly. They were probably over the bay. Kinda neat. We assume a nighttime sighting, and have amended the time above. We will attempt to contact the witness via e-mail. PD

Approximately 1300-1315, witnessed 2 very bright white lights in the east sky, as I watched the two lights, extremely bright visible objects, moved at different speeds and slightly changed altitude, to the south briefly and then disappeared. Weather was clear, with a few clouds. I moved to get a better view of the objects, but could not find them. They were no longer visible.

We were driving home from the fair. We saw what looked like a shooting star. It began getting bigger a brighter, like it was going straight towards us, it stopped, turned, and began going in the direction of 22 north. We were on 501 west headed home. It had multiple lights and was almost oval-almond shaped.

Traveling home from Chapel Hill, NC, last night (April 12, 2017, at about 8pm) towards Monroe, NC (driving southwest), I observed a very intensely bright light ball moving extremely fast across the sky near Asheboro, NC, but in the rural part of Randolph County. This was obviously not a plane or helicopter because of the lack of signal lights and the absolutely incredible speed. My first thought, after ruling out planes and helicopters, was perhaps that I saw a *huge* meteor; but, the object was different enough that I couldn't rationalize a meteor. For example, it did not appear to travel like meteors I have seen in the past which appear high up in the atmosphere and quickly burn out. In terms of assessing the possibility of larger, lower flying meteors, the object did not have the characteristic "burn trail" or "tail" that a low burning meteor typically has (at least in my experience of seeing photos of low meteors). This object was clearly moving horizontally across the sky at what appeared to be a constant altitude with no trail. The object was an intense blue/white light ball, and it appeared to have a very slight haze near it, but this "haze" could have been an optical illusion, given the brightness of the object and the speed with which it moved. Any "haze" that was present was no larger dimension than the diameter of the light ball, so it did not seem to fit with a meteor trail. I first saw the light ball when it was just about the center of my windshield as I was driving. It moved to my left, traveling southeast, and across the sky to the horizon or tree line in an elapsed time of only about 3-4 seconds. So, this light ball was clearly moving at an incredible speed whether low in the sky or higher than I suspected. I estimate it to have been lower than 500 feet, but that is clearly only an estimate, as I have no way of knowing its true size or altitude. Again, unlike a meteor, the object did not burn out - it simply moved out of my sight at great speed. Regardless of what it was, it was a fascinating experience. This is the second time in the past 2 years that I have seen a fast moving object in the general area of central NC, once it the daytime (a "craft" of sorts previously reported here) and this bright, nighttime ball of light. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Dear Mr. Davenport, In response to your questions (my answers are given in brackets): As you faced the object, what was the approximate direction you were looking [I was on the road, so I only know the general cardinal direction, assuming a line between Chapel Hill and Monroe, NC. I did not think to look at my car direction indicator, so the best I can say here is that I was driving Southwest and generally looking in that direction. Unfortunately, given the nature of winding roads in the rural counties, I cannot confirm the absolute direction of my vision] ..and the angle of elevation above the horizontal plane [I had to move a bit to see it past my visor in the car, so it was up past 30 degrees for sure, but it was not by any means 90 degrees from the horizontal. My best estimate would be about 45-55 degrees from horizontal line of sight] ...Was the object in the northern sky, or the southern sky, from your vantage point, [Southern] ..and was it traveling from your left to right side, or right to left? [the latter, right to left] Sorry I can't be more exact with some of these questions. The entire event took me by complete surprise. I am pleased to know that others reported this event. I would love to know what you find out about the light, if indeed you are able to identify it. Is there a means by which I can stay abreast of any updates? Would you publish any such findings? On deck of home, facing forest adjacent to yard, witnessed a single round light moving in and out of tree line. Light tended to keep a horizontal path as it moved about until it left site suddenly. Light was white when it faced witness directly. When light was at an angle from witness' face, light appeared to have edges of at times green or orange color. Light appeared to react to witness trying to get a better look by moving toward witness. Light appeared to be 3-5 inches in diameter, kept height of 35-40 feet, moved quickly with ease amongst dense forest. Light was observed two separate occasions within two hours, initial sighting 2325hours, 11 Apr 2017. Second sighting location was between two other trees. During second sighting witness observed light did not appear to want to stray far from its location. Same witness observed same types of light in same trees over a week period in April of 2016. No noises, animals very quiet in area.

Flew a little lower than crop dusting plane may fly, and maintained a speed of at least 65mph, as it was next to my car for at least 8-9mi. It was a yellow/gold light shaped like the Chinese lanterns people may light on the Fourth of July. The light flashed ever few seconds, faster than an airplane or helicopter light. When I neared the next town and there were street lights glowing, it looked like the light was actually attached to a larger, round object. As I drove through the town I lost track of the light, and when I reached the outside of town, I could no longer find it. We saw an amber circular light blink out, then blink in a little south of the original light, blink out again, further south, then it blinked out again and two amber circular lights blinked in further south, then out and then a single light blinked in further south, blinked out and the sighting was done. No aircraft lights, seemed to move in a straight line, no trails or falling movement and not in the direction of the Goldwater range. This was looking out towards SE Mesa/Gilbert, due east from our vantage point on the McQueen exit off of the 202 E.

My wife and I were just happen to be looking up in the sky as we were taking our dog for his final "potty break" for the night. While I was looking up, I saw a light of an object traveling at a much faster speed of a typical airplane or any other object that I could identify. The time was 8:40 pm. It was dark and the sky was clear. I was facing east and looking at the moonrise just beneath Jupiter. Out to the southeast, I noticed this object that had a white solid light traveling in a straight path to the northeast direction. The first thing I noticed was that the light was solid and did not flash or flicker like the traditional airplane lights we see in the sky. I quickly brought got the attention of my wife and showed her this moving object and compared it to the much slower-moving airplane lights in the sky to contrast the difference between the object I am describing in this text. Once we identified this particular object as being so different, we continued to follow its path. It was a straight path. At first, and as it was moving overhead, the light seemed to get brighter and larger. My wife described the light to become elongated. The light quickly dimmed as the object continued to travel into the northern direction. As it approached the Northern horizon, there seemed to be a flash of light (kind of light a shooting star), then the object disappeared. The total arc of its pathway that we witnessed was approximately 90 degrees arc and this took about 30 seconds. The light was a constant white light. The speed of this object was much faster than any other planes in the sky. There was no sound with this object. Because it was nighttime, we could not see any vehicle. I could not identify what that object was. I looked up the ISS location and found it to be over South America at the time. As I continued to observe the sky, we saw lots of airplanes, helicopters that night. I even saw what appeared to be a satellite traveling overhead with the usual speeds that I've observed in the past. But nothing was even close to what I just witnessed. My personal background: I am ((deleted--forties)) years old. I am in Healthcare working as a ((deleted)) working in ((specialty deleted)) for the past ((deleted--2 decades)) years. My prior career was in electronics, computers and mechanics. My wife is a homemaker who used to work in ((deleted--medical field)). I am really interested in knowing what this light/object could have been.

we were sitting at the porch watching the night sky , it was partially clouded but some of the stars were visible when suddenly in the eastern direction two identical lights appeared in very far distance , they first appeared as stars but they were moving quickly in synchronized way and they seemed to be apart by a considerable distance, they were not blinking like an aircraft , they were not helicopters, they appeared really far and then one completely vanished and maybe a second later the other one disappeared into the dark sky , we have never seen anything similar in the night sky , it was a very quiet night and I wouldn't expect any noise from those lights anyways as they really seemed to be very very far and I would estimate the source of the lights had to be massive

Saw a light right beneath the moon, thought it was a plane but it wasn't moving. All of a sudden it moved to the top of the moon and stood there for a few minutes, was a orange light, not blinking, seems to move vertical and not horizontal like planes do. My sister had taken my puppy outside in order to use the restroom. She came back in and informed my dad and me, who at the time, were in the living room watching TV. She informed us that there was 4 lights in the sky (at the time we thought it was stars). The lights were flashing rapidly from red to blue and back to red and so on about every 3 seconds and double the size of a regular star. I had pointed out there was three light that were side by side in a straight line almost reminded me of a disk without actually seeing the shape of the craft itself. The lights in a disk shape were orange. A few minutes later we went back in the house, checking on the objects a few times in a period of twenty minutes. My dog then needed to use the restroom again a few minutes later and the objects were no longer visible. The lights were located west of Davenport at a bearing of 271° west. Unknown of the elevation of the lights.
