I saw two bright objects that looked like stars in the western sky that moved in a very smooth synchronous motion, Then the both objects faded out of view. They did not have flashing lights like a commercial or military plane and their flight pattern was not linear like a plane but smooth and wave like with one object paralleling or following the other.

Le 22 avril 2017 à 23h41, un témoin observe dans le ciel la présence de 3 lumières alignées horizontalement, avec l'arrivée quelques minutes plus tard de 2 lumières supplémentaires en position verticale, le tout formant un « L ». Aucun mouvement, déplacement ou changement d'intensité lumineuse ne sont remarqués pendant toute la durée de l'observation de 45 minutes. le témoin photographie le PAN. Le témoin a fait une observation un peu similaire le 18 avril 2017. Il a joint deux photographies réalisées lors de cette observation, qui peuvent aider à la compréhension du cas du 22 avril. Aucun autre témoignage n'a été recueilli. La description du PAN présente des caractéristiques de plusieurs hypothèses explicatives prosaïques, qui sont a priori à éliminer d’après certains détails de l’observation (voir le compte rendu d’enquête). Toutefois, il n’a malheureusement pas été possible de vérifier ou préciser certains points clefs, comme la durée exacte l’observation ( a-t-elle vraiment durer 45 minutes, alors qu’on ne dispose que de photos à quelques secondes d’intervalle), l’état ouvert ou fermé de la fenêtre en fonction des phases de l’observation. Malgré plusieurs relances, le témoin n’a pas donné suite aux questions posées. De plus, la seconde phase de l’observation, avec l’arrivée de 2 points lumineux supplémentaires manque cruellement de précisions, alors qu’elle présente un caractère d’étrangeté. Le cas revêt une certaine étrangeté. Mais le témoignage unique et surtout l’imprécision sur des points clefs couplée à la non réponse du témoin aux demandes de précision confèrent au témoignage une faible consistance non à même de valider le caractère étrange de l’observation. Saw a bright orange light once on the way to Selah while on the freeway, and then when we came home we saw what we thought to be the same light, in the same general spot (direction was NE, not too far from the Training Base) and we watched it for about a minute and a half before it disappeared after remaining stationary. It was too bright and too high up to be a street light, and we noticed that a nearby dog began to bark when it appeared, then ceased barking around the same time it disappeared.

There was one big orange circle light solid (a little bit flashy in the middle) and it moves pretty fast and disappeared after about 10 miles away from the Riverwalk where I saw!

Saw 3 orange lights in a triangular formation to the north of south eastern Des Moines. They were stationary but seemed to blink in and out. Evening, cloudy skies.

Two orange lights flying in close proximity to one another silently flew over the west side of town in a north to south direction. Observed them till they faded away in the distance. Approx. three min after first two faded, a third orange light flew by on the same heading. Both witnesses have extensive backrounds in aviation, one being a former commercial pilot, and the other, an aircraft mechanic.

At 3:09AM on 4/21/17, a white light was seen moving north in the eastern sky. The color and brightness were comparable to a star, however it flew at a similar speed and altitude to an airplane. No flashing lights were observed and it moved in the opposite direction of the nearest airport. After 10 seconds, it completely disappeared. Overall cloud coverage was minimal and the sky was clear where the light had disappeared.

I am a ranger/landscape supervisor who works for a county agency. The other witness is my parish priest. After a church class, while driving my pickup truck exiting our church parking lot, I saw our parish priest standing at the side of the church, looking up into the night sky in a south east direction. I stopped my truck and asked what he was looking at. He stated that there were some odd looking lights in the sky. I got out of my truck and went to where he was standing and looked up and saw 5 distinct reddish orange lights in the sky, hovering at different places, but in a grouping. The lights were moving very slowly. A couple of lights moved vertically, and then hovered, and then a couple moved laterally very slow. One of the lights rose and then faded into nothing. Another light faded when an airplane seemed like it was getting close to it. One more light rose and then faded into nothing, until the last light descended in altitude and finally disappea! red altogether. The lights seemed to be quite a distance from us. I would guess they were probably 20 miles away, and maybe 5000 to 8000 feet high. All of the lights moved independently of each other, but were in the same grouping or vicinity of each other.

Object turned 180 degrees in an instant, and made several extremely sharp turns. Lost sight of object behind a building. Approximate distance of object was .5 miles to .75 miles away. April 19, 2017, Approximately 9:45 pm local time. Location: Cobourg, Ontario, Canada Visibility: clear. Facing east, observed what appeared to be two satellites, moving in tandem, one behind the other, in a due-south direction, approximately 45 degrees between horizon and zenith. Distance between lights approximately that of Mizar and Alioth of the Big Dipper (Big Dipper was conveniently directly above sighting). No sound. Approximately one minute later, both lights were seen travelling in opposite direction, due north, along same trajectory, again in sync but perhaps further apart. Through binoculars, could follow both clearly. Gradually the lights diverged, one continuing due north, the other heading north-east until both faded from view. Observer is a recording engineer with background in printing and publishing. Has also observed a sighting in same location in April 2011, where there were three lights in V-shape travelling at high velocity due west.

I am a 21 year old male. I do not take any medications other than lisinipril for blood pressure. And have been declared competitent by my peers. I was sitting outside last night, enjoying the cool night air, when a slow pulsing light caught my attention. It wasnt blinking red or green such as a normal aircraft would be. I see planes cross the sky every hour or more where there is an airport close to me. But this light moved in such an erratic pattern that I have never seen any airplane or helicopter do. Almost as if it skipped sections of the sky. It was completely silent. And my best explanation of the color would be almost an neon bluish purple. It gave me the creeps.

I exited my house at 12:45 am to pick my daughter in law up from the airport (she was supposed to arrive at 1 am). I took a quick look around, thinking "at this hour, maybe I'll see something." I immediately noticed a bright white light to the north of my house. At first, I thought it was a helicopter, as it was over a main road (Dale Mabry) in our area but there were no other lights - just an extremely bright, stationary white light. From the position, it looked like it was about a half mile from my house, just north of Hillsborough/Dale Mabry. It was completely silent. If it had been a helicopter, I would have heard it, as this area is subject to frequent auto accidents. I was in a rush to get to the airport, but kept an eye on the object in my rear view mirror as I was heading south to the airport. TIA has a cell phone waiting lot, so while I was waiting there, I kept looking but couldn't see it from where I was. Once we were on our way back to the house, we had a brief glimpse of it through some trees but by the time we got back to where we would have been able to see it clearly, it was gone.

Lights appeared to reach area over Ohio River, and then turned southwest, and in a very short distance, disappeared from sight. Clear night no cloud cover for them to disappear behind. Friend & myself on back deck witnessed flashing lights in forest. At first one light soon followed by others, totaling five distinct flashing lights. They tended to stay high in the trees, maybe sixty feet from ground. Sometimes the lights appeared white, sometimes green, sometimes orange. We watched until we had to go inside. I went back out 15 minutes later, lights were gone.

While driving south on I-85, I saw a bright light fall from the sky to my left (south). It was the about the same brightness as a helicopter running light. It went down behind the tree and I really expected to see an explosion and fire, but nothing. Maybe this was a meteor?

Not too much to report... a very bright light, definitely not a plane, helicopter, lanterns, or even a satellite (which I see often)... brighter than the brightest star, moving smoothly across the sky. No noise. No exhaust fumes. Very high. I took a couple of pics on the phone camera... the zoom-in pic it looks like they're might be a solid craft with the light. Dans la nuit du 15 au 16 avril 2017 à 01h45 du matin, un témoin est intrigué par une observation faite à l'oeil nu puis aux jumelles d'un PAN lumineux jaune à basse altitude. Le PAN semble fixe, puis se déplace. Il sera perdu de vue derrière des arbres. D'après le témoin l'observation a duré une vingtaine de minutes. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli. Le phénomène observé par le témoin est compatible avec l’hypothèse de la confusion avec un avion en approche de l’aéroport de Dijon-Bourgogne (voir le compte rendu d'enquête). Cet avion a sans doute été observé de loin, phares d’atterrissage allumés, se dirigeant vers la piste 17/35, tout en se rapprochant progressivement de la position du témoin. En conclusion, bien que la présence de deux lumières rouges non clignotantes relevées par le témoin ne cadre pas avec l’explication par la confusion avec un aéronef militaire, peut-être de type Transall C-160, en manœuvre et/ou en phase d’atterrissage sur l’aéroport de Dijon-Bourgogne, tous les autres éléments correspondent avec cette hypothèse et en particulier : - bien que la BA 102 soit fermée à la date de l’observation, certains appareils militaires l’utilisent encore en 2017 à des fins de ravitaillement ou d’exercices, - le Transall C-160 et l’Hercules C-130 sont encore en activité en 2017, - l’immobilité, puis le lent déplacement, tous deux apparents, sont causés par une combinaison de facteurs, et en particulier la propre vitesse de l’aéronef, la distance à laquelle il se trouve du témoin et son déplacement selon un axe confondu puis proche à l’axe d’observation, - la durée d’observation est dans l’ensemble compatible avec l’hypothèse, mais implique à la fois un déplacement de l’aéronef lent, proche de sa vitesse de décrochage, et une observation initiale très éloignées, de plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres, - les lumières jaunes correspondent aux feux d’atterrissage et les lumières rouges correspondent aux feux anticollision de type « beacon » de l’aéronef, bien que le témoin n’ait pas mentionné de clignotement pour ces derniers, - l’absence de feux anti-collision blancs de type « strobe » est possible sur ce type d’avion, soit ils ne sont pas présents, soit ils peuvent être désactivés sur commande. Des incertitudes existent toutefois concernant le nombre des feux, les seuls exemples que nous avons pu trouver montrant deux feux d’atterrissage et un feu anti-collision rouge pour le C-160. Le phénomène observé par le témoin reste néanmoins compatible avec l’hypothèse de la confusion avec un avion militaire type « cargo » en approche sur l’aéroport de Dijon-Bourgogne. Le GEIPAN classe le cas en "B" : méprise probable avec un avion en approche d’atterrissage. [GEIPAN classification B — Avion]
