Saw two lights appearing, which looked like a plane flying towards me. I kept watching because if it was a plane, it's too big to be in this rural area. Then the lights spread apart horizontally and stayed there for several seconds, hovering. They both swayed back and forth for a another few seconds. During this time there was a "waving" sound. Suddenly one light was one. Then the other.

I was headed east on 60 through Superior, AZ. I took the exit for highway 177 toward Kearny/Winkelman. I was just at the outskirts of Superior heading south. The sun had set; western sky had some glow, but the eastern sky was relatively dark. I'm not sure of the exact time, but think it was around 8 pm. In the sky ahead of me (to the south and slightly east) were 3 yellowish, glowing lights. They appeared more like a soft yellow star, a bit like a candle flame in color. They did not twinkle. They were arranged in a formation that was similar to the stars in Orion's belt. They were about 60 degrees above the horizon. I pulled over to watch and after about 10 seconds, they just faded out. After about 5 seconds, they faded back into view in the same locations. They did not appear to be moving. After another 5 seconds, they faded out again. They did not fly off, nor did they suddenly blink out; they faded out over a second or two. I sat in my truck for another 5 minutes or so and did not see them again. I worked in and retired from the nuclear power industry. I performed root cause investigations, self assessments, audits, and technical reviews of procedures and documents. I ended my career working as a consultant in nuclear power.

Sitting outside at about 9:45pm and we see what looks like a night sky full of stars, start moving about in little zips and pauses. Then one seemed to drop down into our atmosphere and a bright flash went off towards our direction, almost like they knew we were watching and then the brightest one went back to what " I'm assuming was its position" playing possum and was just a star again. This is not a hoax or a joke on our part... FACT.. amazing..

I saw a white light that was stationary. It was a bright white light that would appear to dim as if it was pointing in another direction. The light stayed in the same spot but at times appeared to be rotating to the left and right and sometimes rotating in a circle. It reminded me of the tower lights at the airport. It was a clear night no clouds in the sky and the moon was out and was not overly bright. There were no aircraft in the sky nor were there any other noises. I watched this for aprox 2 hours and the light just disappeared. I did call the non emergency number for police dispatch and all they said was the deputies were aware of the light on Ben Lomond Peak. This peak does not have any sort of light tower on it. I was too far away to make out anything other than the bright white light. Possible sighting of a star or planet, we suspect. PD

I went out to put my dog into his outside pen, and I happened to look into the backwoods that are about 200 feet behind my house. Up in the trees was a very visible orange and red light. It had rays as if it were a miniature sun. It looked as almost if it was hiding behind a couple trees peeking at me. I stood there not knowing what to think, it couldn't of been the sun reflecting off of the moon, because it was in the woods. It couldn't be a light reflection because there was nothing to shine off of high in the woods. It most definitely couldn't be anyone holding a light because first, no one lives back there, and second, it was high in the trees. Our trees in Crawford county are around 30-50ft tall. After standing there for about 2-3 minutes I quickly ran inside to tell my mom and we both went back outside. The light was still there, but either it was going away from us or it was dimming out.

On Sunday August 27th sometime between 9.30 and 11pm I, my son and my nephew were outside on the deck at my moms house in North Creek New York. We were observing the stars because it was such a clear and beautiful night. I witnessed and pointed out to the boys that I saw a satellite moving from North to South-southwest. It was a steady bright white light moving very fast with no sound, and none after. At first I thought it might be the space station because I have seen that before on nights when the news reported that it would be flying over. This seemed smaller and slightly less bright than the space station and moved just like a satellite. The boys both witnessed this with me. As the light moved to the south of us it went out and reappeared further south a few times which was strange because there was not a cloud in the sky and stars in the vicinity were still visible. Then it did a sudden 90 degree zig zag type move at a speed that a plane or jet, even military would not be capable of. At least not one that I know of. It was something out of a science fiction movie the way this light was zig zagging, The distance and speed and angle of the turns was Like nothing I have ever seen. After about 15 seconds of these types of lightning speed moves the light became steady again and continued south over the horizon until it was out of sight.

My girlfriend and I went outside last night around 10:40 to smoke a cigarette. Looking straight out of our porch, (looking East-Southeast) in the distance, we saw a sliver of light, much like the moon coming through the clouds. It was a bright yellowish orange color. I could not say how far away it was, but it was definitely farther than a mile, if not more than that. I pointed it out, and she thought it was the moon. We continued to watch as the object got wider (to about the width of your thumb at arm's length). There were clouds off in the distance, but no clouds that appeared thick enough to hide the moon. It maintained a fairly symmetrical shape. It almost looked like the "angel decoy" flare release from an AC-130 gunship, except if these were flares, they didn't fall, and it looked like a solid object. The object would periodically appear to change size, and hue/brightness, shrinking to a small point, but it was seen to grow in size again, at least once. Eventually, another object of similar color appeared next to the first (or appeared to split off from the first). We continued watching and eventually went in, as the object was moving to the left and became obscured by trees and houses in the neighborhood. We did not hear any sound, but the object appeared to be fairly distant. I was able to get several (grainy) videos with my iPhone 6 Plus. Please contact me if you would like to see these videos.

spotted 6 different bright lights in the skies traveling north east over paterson nj, they all followed the same line in the sky and when each light reached a certain point, the light got weaker then they all disappeared at the same point in the sky, at different time intervals. Flaw in time and date above. We have amended both, in order to make the report plausible. Possible hoax?? PD

So once I got home I took my telescope which is only D=60mm F=700mm model RB-60 couldn't zoom in close enough to see shape. Though the light's were lined up in triangle postion. Note: noticed it for three months before this repart.

On the evening of Saturday, August 26th, at 8:45pm, some friends of mine and myself noticed a large cluster of tiny color-changing lights in the sky. These lights traveled as if following the same path, and seemed to glisten like a moon shimmering off the top of the ocean. It was a spectacular sight, truly the most amazing spectacle I have ever viewed. There was an incredible number of these lights flicker across the sky, so I estimated the number to be around 100 or so... not sure if these were individual lights or if perhaps they may have been attached to one giant craft of some sort. I took video of this occurrence, however, due to the smallness of the lights and the high altitude of their placement, they are not visible from my phone camera. I have no clue as to what these various lights might have been. Some of my friends suggested perhaps they were a cluster of drones, however, I felt there were way too many for that conclusion to be feasible. I am truly stumped by this magnificent sight.

It was a constant brightness and I described it to my wife, whom was sleeping, as a single "firework," but it did not flicker or diminish in brightness. The track was also straight and not an arc. The speed was slower than a shooting star but much faster than any conventional aircraft. What was really eerie was there was absolutely no sound and the light, just went out and disappeared. I continued to watch for about 10 min. afterwards but saw nothing else other than a couple jets higher up.

Light in the sky moved in a tight consistent circle, avoiding leaving cloud cover. When it had no choice, it seemed to disappear. Camera phone glitched out taking picture of star and child chalk drawing, and bright white light flashed, turning red. No shaft of life (as per a spotlight) could be seen. A friend and I pursued it , and noted the circular pattern was consistent. Always making the rotation in the same time (slower for slow rotations, faster for large). 4 crafts, like from Bradly AFB seemed to be monitoring.

I was sitting on the balcony of my apartment, having a drink with a friend. While we were talking, a bright flash appeared in the sky, catching my eye. It was not large, about a 1/4 the size of the moon, but definitely bright enough to get my attention. It was pure, white light, and looked just like when that flash when a starship goes to warp in "Star Trek." Sorry to use that imagery, but that is exactly what it looked like to me. My friend had his back to the flash, so he did not see it. I was for a moment thinking it could somehow be a meteor, but it was localized in one spot and there was no trail, nor did it move anywhere beyond where the flash occurred. It was a pure white light, which also is a bit strange for a meteor.

Green lights seen from vehicle on Route 20. lights moved across road ay high altitude at very fast rate of speed, then made a sharp right turn and accelerated at an "impossible" speed and were out of sight a a mere fraction of a second.

I was walking my dog and as I turned to face due south, I noticed a single bright light moving from east to west traveling at a perceived high rate of speed. It traveled in a flat/level trajectory across the sky. As it moved further west the light dimmed and at approximately due southwest - 45 degrees from when I first spotted the light, it was no longer visible. The entire incident lasted only an estimated 3 seconds. There was absolutely no sound detected before, during or after this viewing.

I awoke at about 4:00 a.m. ( Aug – 25 ) and knew I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got up and decided to read and perhaps grab a smoke out side, which is what I did. At 4:30 a.m., I went outside and began to smoke, and as usual, I face north and star gaze and it was very clear, a little fire smoke haze but nothing bad. An airliner was crossing the sky from W-NW to E-SE and was north of my location, I enjoyed the stars as it headed to the Eastern horizon and I turned my head to look toward the western part of the sky for several seconds and turned my head back facing northerly again and saw a very bright satellite slightly north east of my location and headed the same path as the airliner, but the opposite direction. It surprised me I hadn’t seen the hint of the satellite before I turned my head away, it was very bright and I watched it for ~ 10 seconds, and it began to fade in brightness, as is typical. I took my eye’s off of it to smoke and quickly decided it might flare up again, so I decided to attempt to quickly find it again, so I followed the path I had just seen, and saw a very dim satellite, slightly more north of the assumed path. Here my brain is thinking how the satellite jumped off the straight line path if it was the same satellite, but very quickly, I notice this satellite is in a medium size turn, and not traveling straight. I thought that this thing was going to head north now in view of this turn, (the turn can be best described as less then ¼ the circumference of a dinner plate at arm's length), and then the most fascinating thing happened, this very dim satellite brightened up and did what athletes call “the button hook“ maneuver… it accelerated rapidly in a very tight turn and shot back the direction in which it had come from. I wondered if it was going to trail that airliner. This was no jet or satellite, this craft was moving at an astonishing speed at the end, and I will surely keep a closer watch on satellites from now on. Are ufo’s now mimicking satellites so as to be less noticeable, it sure seems like it to me. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

At 3:45 am, while standing on my balcony, i saw an object moving in space from north west traveling to the north east. i checked iss tracking and the iss was in north africa, so i know it wasn't the iss. was not a jet. no flashing lights were noticable. very high rate of speed.

My wife and I go out on our West-facing deck. She notices a light moving in the dark nighttime sky and points it out to me. It was changing colors, red, green and headlight yellowish. The movement of the light was about three fingers at arm's length, in all directions. Very hard to guess distance, but i would say >5 miles. We watched for about an hour and went in the house. Will watch again on the following night for a possible repeat performance.
