Orange colored balls flying in formation no sound traveling slow. Looked like one went out of formation then corrected itself back into formation. They came in groups of about 8 or 10 at a time.

last night we saw two different orange circle in the sky. One came first, very bright orange. We thought it was a plain or helicopter, but there was no noise of jets. It it was flying in a straight line and disappeared with in two minutes. A second later another one shows up following the same flying pattern. At first I thought planes were too close but there were no lights like planes and the moved along at identical speeds. I have photographs, night time that show as lights three round and one photo shows as orange while another photo shows as cylinder shaped with colors and haze.

They were round amber lights floating across the sky in Zeeland, Michigan. We saw a few dozen. At first they all seemed to be in a straight line but a few were travelling side by side. Some appeared to touch each other. My husband is a professional pilot and said they were not aircraft. He said there were no port or starboard running lights. He thought they were some type of lanterns attached to helium ballons that someone was lighting on the ground and releasing. But it is raining steadily so I am somewhat doubtful. When we went indoors the lights were still coming. We would like to know if others saw these lights. Thanks.

It was a bright white ball that appeared to have been outlined with almost a burning fire look to it. It wasn't very close but it also wasn't very far away, we could see objects that would have been farther behind it, like telephone poles and such. The object was low in the sky, appeared to be coming right towards us and we thought it was a plane on fire about to crash until it began to rise straight up. It was a very clear night, not a cloud in the sky. The light from the object did not go out, we were able to watch it go all the way up into the sky as far as the eye could see and then it got too far up and was no longer visible. LARGE ORANGE ROUND BALL A LITTLE SMALLER THAN THE MOON. CAME OUT OF NOWHERE FROM EAST AND SHOT ACROSS THE SKY ABOUT 70 degrees from the horizons SHOOTING TO THE WEST. LASTED 5 SECONDS. HAD ORANGE TRAIL BEHING IT. NO SOUND QUIET STEALTH LIKE!

Standing in peoples creek park overlooking the lake. At about 4:30 or 5:00 am. I heard a noise that sounded like a jet fighter circling around the lake. I moved around too see a opening in the tree's. There about only 300 yards away, and half a mile high was a circle shaped object. It was lit up with lights. It looked to be moving about 40 - 50 miles per hour. And about 80 yards in diameter. It wasn't making a sound. I then realized the sound was coming from 1 or two jet fighter's. I couldn't see the jets, but I came too this conclusion cause I've heard fighter jets before. And it sounded like as this object was kinda floating above the lake approximately 50 miles an hour the fighter jets were staying way above it circling. At first glance it looked to be cigar shaped. But I am sure it was round. From the positioning of the lights. The lights were only one color. Like if you had a dimmer switch and had all the lights turned down really low. Then it disappeared, like it shut its lights off. But I could still hear the jets circling. I am thinking it took 20 minutes to where I couldn't hear the jets anymore. PS. Although the jets were staying with this aircraft they were I am guessing keeping a 20 mile circle around it. I swear by this statement.

Observed 2 red orange balls. One following the other just above the trees. Completely silent, they traveled directly overhead slowly then into the clouds. At first we thought they were fireworks, then flares but they were traveling at the same speed and seemed to be ascending.

At approximately 4:45 pm, while driving down Interstate 520 going south right past the 520/20 split, I saw coming east towards the south west a grey circular object. It made no sound. It was possible within 100 feet above my car. I did not see any lights or markings on the craft. At first I thought it was an airplane. After it moved in front of my vehicle, I saw it was not a plane. Just as I went to take a photo of it with my phone, it shot straight up into the sky at a tremendous speed. I did not see it any longer.

After about an hour of watching this plane circle, it flew off heading North. Approximately five minutes after it exited the area, this large,circular object reddish/orange in color, appeared in the Western sky and headed SE and then stopped. I then witnessed what appeared to be red colored lightning and then smoke or a cloud began forming around it, I ran inside grabbed my phone and climbed onto my roof to record the event. I was sitting outside of the lake house on Lake Lanier just off of Nix Rd. I was looking up at the sky when out of nowhere I saw a (one) green glowing ball that just appeared and it was moving slowly but steadily across the sky until my view was blocked by tree lines. It was not leaving any trails but I could definitely see a solid green ball in the middle and it was glowing green all around it.

I looked up and, as in my past sightings, saw a round flying/gliding (such smooth fluid movement) objects that looked small enough to be a star but again it was moving, it was too high to be a plane and it didn't have blinking lights like all the other planes clearly overhead, again it was up sooo high way past where planes fly. It didn't fly straight enough and I have to assume it was traveling too fast to be a satellite (how high it was and how quick it went across sky was way too quick considering every inch it traveled was probably a ridiculous amount of miles. Made planes look like slow pokes) I followed until it disappeared, which means it zipped off or went too high in altitude, as the sky was very clear no clouds. That one disappeared and a minute or two later I saw another in a different area of the sky, same as the other, traveling around way too high to be a plane, glowing as bright as a star. All together it was 10-15 minutes of observation

I was standing on the pier when an object appeared in the sky. I knew it wasn't an airplane by its shape and movement. It had 5-7 orange lights in the shape of a circle that moved forward and disappeared. Then, it appeared again a good ways behind where it had disappeared, moved forward again, and disappeared. I stood on the pier waiting for it to reappear for a while, but it didn't show itself again. I continued to go off the pier and on to the beach where I could play my flute that evening. As I was playing, I looked back at the ocean to see the object again near the same spot. It disappeared as soon as I saw it.

June 6, 2014 around 11:15 p.m. I witnessed two motionless circular orange lights in the sky. Occasionally, one of the circular lights would disappear as if it was being dimmed out (as if someone was dimming a light in a house). This event lasted for what seemed 10-15 minutes. I was walking into my kitchen to get a drink of water when I noticed two orange lights in the sky through my sliding glass door (leading into my backyard) that overlooks the city I live in. I was facing south while viewing these lights and what made them so interesting to me was they were not moving, completely stationary the entire time the event occurred. Initially, there were two orange lights and after a couple minutes one would fade out (again, as if being dimmed out). After about a minute, the light that originally faded out would reappear then the other light would fade out just like the first one did. The process of one of lights fading out and the other light reappearing happened three times. Each time the light wou! ld come back it would appear in the same spot that it was in before. This did not happen simultaneously, when the light would come back the other would stay from anywhere to 5-10 seconds before it would fade away. What also made this interesting to me was that it occurred near an air force base in my city. My house is located in a bit of a higher elevation from the rest of the city which gives me a panoramic view of the entire city and is roughly 10 miles from the air force base. These orange circular lights were not parallel or perpendicular to one another (making me believe they were two separate objects) and one was always sitting a little higher than the other. When the event ended, there was just a single orange circular light in the sky and it faded out just like it had been doing the previous times.

June 24, 2014 Dear Mr. Davenport: I wrote to your site on the night of 6/18/14, regarding the UFO’s over Orange County and Riverside County, California. I see you noted it on your front page. I found tonight, when signing into Google, I typed in Mysterious lights over Orange Co, Ca, June 18, 2014, immediately, video evidence popped up. If you go to the second entry, a couple heading from Irvine, California (Orange County) south towards Dana Point, California, video taped the objects, even one going out, and then coming back on. For your reference, it says uploaded by Justin Me., and there is a reference to utube at the top of his entry. You can hear both the husband and the wife, as they are video taping this phenomena. This sighting was not only reported to your site, but hundreds of calls were received by many television stations from people describing the same thing. There has been no explanation by anyone of authority over the past 6 days. Initially, Camp Pendleton Marine Base in Oceanside, California, and the FAA said they had no craft in the air at that time, and did not know what it was that people were viewing. Have you received any more information from your sources? Several eyewitnesses reported to news stations, helicopters were seen trying to chase these lights in the sky, with their searchlight pointed up instead of towards the ground as we are used to seeing, when a search is occurring. If you get a chance to view the video I referred to you , you will be amazed. And that is not the only video that has been shown by local television stations. This is not a hoax. I just wish someone would explain even if they don’t know what it was, but to let us know someone is looking into this. Thank you

June 19, 2014 Dear Mr. Davenport, Have you heard about the reported lights in the sky last night? This was widely reported and video taped in Southern California, beginning near Camp Pendleton Marine Base by Oceanside, and continuing over Orange County, (for your reference, near the coast/Disneyland area), and then going north to and over the City of Riverside. I did not personally see these lights, but they reported on the lights and showed the video tape on every station in Los Angeles, Ca, that reaches the counties named above. The Marine Base and NASA states, there were no military aircraft in the area during the sighting of these lights. The sheriff’s offices in San Diego County, Orange County, and Riverside County were contacted by several people who viewed these lights. I hope that you will look into this report. You can view these lights and the report by going on the websites of any of our local stations, ABC Channel 7, NBC, Channel 4, CBS, Channel 2, all Los Angeles stations. Thank you

Sighting Report Date of June 18, 2014, at about 21:40 Location: Myrtle Beach SC boardwalk, 6th avenue North ((steps down to the beach and Atlantic Ocean directly in front of us) Weather: overcast earlier but stars started appearing about 21:00, slightly hazy, nice ocean breeze blowing on shore. We recently (May 3,2014) had moved to Myrtle Beach SC with all our belongings having sold our home in Connecticut, following my retirement as an electrician (licensed) in an industrial facility. Last night we went to the “beach” to view the fireworks display scheduled for 22:00 (they were on schedule) At about 21:20 we arrived at the above location after having walked and viewed the sights for about 45 minutes. No alcoholic beverage of any kind had been consumed by me or my wife before, during or after the evening’s event. Having recently completed re-reading “The Electric Sky” by Donald Scott and now with but four (4) pages left to finish reading “The Electric Universe” by Wallace Thornhill and David Talbott, viewing the stars is now done with an entirely new sense of wonder. From our location the fireworks would be “fired” off from the end of a pier about 1/3 of a mile distance South East of us. At about 21:40, I turned to view the scenery including the “Ferris” wheel slightly North West of our location when I observed several more stars that had come into view as the skys cleared even further. These stars appeared at about a 30 degree elevation form us …. As I watched several more stars appeared, four or five, and to my surprise they began “going off and on at about one second intervals, not necessarily in snyc with one another”… I then brought them to my wife’s attention who also observed this behavior. After a total of about four minutes the “flashing” stars went “out” and were not observed by us again. At least four of the stars were in a cross formation though wider in the middle. I later judged the horizontal distant between the stars to be about 2/3 across the width of one of my eyeglass lenses….. and the vertical ones about ½ the height of the lens. I tried to locate the far left horizontal stars position by trying to picture where it was relative to the shore and perceived it to be almost directly above the junction of the beach and ocean…..the two vertical stars were mid point between the horizontal ones. Again, I had no accurate means or expectation of any need to perform such a task. As we continued to observe the general location, two luminous circles appeared due East of us over the water. Their diameter seemed to be of 4 or 5 times larger than a star visible immediately to their right side and slightly above them. They had a reddish circumference with a yellowish center, did not appear to be moving and after about 30 seconds just “went out”. After the two lights went out, I inquired of a couple sitting behind us to find out if they were aware of any of these sightings…… They were facing South and did not observer any of the items mentioned until now but as we talked one of the Red/Yellow circles reappeared in the same location for about 10 seconds the again went out. The woman sitting there observed this event but had no knowledge of what it might be. Helicopter rides are a continuous sigh here but though I don’t know if there available at night, the proximity of the objects to one another , the lack of discernable motion and them both appearing then disappearing together make that very unlikely. We did observe two air craft. One was a single propeller type circling over the general area of the fireworks pier a few minutes before the actual display and the other that appeared more like the ISS ( space station) moving North to South, very reflective but as it passes well overhead appeared to have a blinking light. I had observed the ISS before and am aware that there is a web sight dedicated to locating it in the night sky. Nothing further was observed regarding the stars or circles of light. Personal background: Recentely retired; Married 46 years; US Navy Nuclear power trained electrician (6 years active duty Polaris Submarines); Former volunteer firefighter; EMT; Certified Fire Investigator (10 years service); Interest include Astronomy, Earth Science, Geology, Ancient Histories, Cannons (Civil War Re-enactor), etc. My wife is a retire registered nurse, we have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, a son in the National Guard who is a combat vet who served in Afghanistan.
