I witnessed the same thing as a viewer in 2001, only crystals clouded my eyes just after seeing the object. It was slightly darker than the sky.

I just saw a boomerang-shape craft fly over the center of Missoula, almost right over my house. It could have been 25 ft to upwards of 60 ft wide. It flew silently and slowly. I watched it for about 15 seconds. It came from the southwest and was heading toward the downtown area. It looked black but had a grey tint and was hard to make out against the starlit sky. I only noticed it because it blacked out a star I happened to be looking at. It had no lights and was 150-200 ft in the sky. The sky is clear and there is a very slight breeze from the east.

Approximately 23:30 on the night of April 14th, 2015, my husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and I were outside having a fire. I noticed movement in the sky coming from the north/northeast and heading south. For a split second, I thought I was seeing a flock of pure white birds moving in a flying "V" formation. Upon further glance, I noticed there was no movement of wings and the formation stayed in a perfect "V" shape. This night the moon was covered by clouds, and there was no source of illumination nearby to explain the pure white color. There were approximately 8-12 objects that were pure bright white in color, which were in the shape of a boomerang or chevron. The entire formation seemed to be moving very fast, and within a minute of spotting it, it just completely vanished out of sight. Ten seconds later, my in-laws who were standing 20 feet behind us, noticed it completely vanish out of sight. This all happened within 30-40 seconds.

A large chevron shaped aircraft passed slowly by at speeds too low for a winged craft and there were no rotor noises. The craft flew at an altitude of approximately 200-300 feet and had a jet engine sound but with a much lower amplitutude than a commercial or military jet. There were 2 lights pointing in the direction of flight, and the lights were inbound from the tips of the wing. There were 2 red lights flashing/pulsating on each side of the craft. The craft flew past about 100 feet in front of us and we watched it until it was lost in the horizon or tree tops. The craft circled around and made similar passes at least 5 times. It was cloudy and slightly foggy so it was impossible to make out any detail of the craft due to the diffusion or glare caused by its onboard lighting. I have seen the V-22 Osprey and this was definitely not one of them or any type of jet airplane that can hover or fly at low speeds that I've ever seen. It flew nearly overhead and h! ad absolutely no propellor or rotor noise. It sounded like a turbine driven craft. During the last pass we heard a few smaller higher pitched turbine sounds emanating from the craft which sounded similar to mechanical adjustments being made, similar to when a jetliner sets it flaps. My estimate is that the size of the craft was in the neighborhood of 150 ft long by 200-250 ft wide, and the body/fuselage appeard to be somewhat bulky as if it could carry large cargo. We did manage to take pictures and will transfer them to the PC in the morning. My impression was that the craft was military and not extraterrestrial. I am a skydiver having over 100 jumps, including 2 jumps from a Boeing 727 jetliner, in addition to attending many Air Shows over the years as an aviation enthusiast. I also studied to become a private pilot and am very familiar with the many types of aircraft, the speeds at which they can fly, and their sound characteristics. This was like nothing I had ever seen or heard and the other 2 witnesses have the same opinion.

Last night i took my dog out to the back yard and noticed a star that was getting brighter and larger in size then shrinking again and seemed to be turning green. I assumed this to be clouds moving in front of it but it looked interesting so i continued to watch it. It began to take on a chevron shaped glow and repeatedly became extremely bright. My husband and i are skeptics to a fault so i assumed and still do this may be atmospheric phenomena so i ran in to grab my camera to see if it would record something different than what my eye was seeing which brought my husband out for a moment and then he went back inside. I tried to record it but couldn't get a good shot, i couldn't get close enough. I continued to watch it, standing still in the same spot, the rest of the sky was clear. I stood for about 2 more minutes when a red, what looked like a comet tail or exhaust tail appearead from the top of the star. There were what resembled a star dust pattern clos! est to the star, it became more solid towards the end. From my perspective it measured maybe 4 inches in length from the main light. I ran inside and told dan to come out so i would have a witness. He saw the changes in size and light but nothing else. He thinks i hallucinated the rest. I watched for about 5 or so more minutes, the light diminished to where it was almost gone and stayed that way so i went inside. Im 33 years old, he's 30 i've never reported anything like this but i was curious to see if maybe someone else had seen it so i thought i should say something.

It was approximately 8:15 pm, and I was in my kitchen facing north talking to my sister on the phone. In my peripheral vision there appeared to be the big dippers and the "stars" were unusually bright. After a few more moments of conversation, I remembered that the big dipper is seen from the east at this time of year and never so low, so bright in the sky and never from the north. I looked out the kitchen window and saw an inverted V shaped formation of bright orange lights. There were three lights on the left side of the formation and two on the right side. They didn't blink, just a steady light. I ran outside to investigate and the formation turned from a side v formation to the inverted V. A bright orange lights moved very fast and secured itself to the right side of the v-formation so now there were three orange lights on both sides. Another inverted V-shaped craft moved in front of the first and they moved in sync very slowly and methodically through the night sky towards the sound. At first glance I thought the orange lights were individual crafts moving in a carefully orchestrated procession through the sky. After running outside for a better look, I concluded that it was two massive crafts, solid black in color and the inverted V orange lights were part of the crafts. I was alarmed and scared as this was close, just above the tree line and electrical power lines. I got the eerie feeling we were being invaded by paratroopers from another country until I saw the crafts. I did some online research and reported this sighting.

My husband, brother and myself were sitting outside around a fire in the backyard after dark. Through the trees, I first saw a chevron shaped object that almost blended in with the night sky, but caught my eye because it seemed almost reflective or mimicking the night sky. It had lights outlining the trangular object which looked like very dim, distant stars at first glance. It only stayed put for what may have been about three seconds. The "craft" seemed to be very large and moved slowly at fist towards the north, then sped up until it blended in with the stars. I told my husband and brother to look as soon as I realized it was moving, but only my husband saw it and only for a second before it was moving away too fast for him to turn around and see it better. Then a few minutes later as I was trying to describe what I saw, it came again but on the opposite side of our fire this time. We all saw it. I'm not sure if it was the same one or a s! econd, but it looked the same. However, this time it was accompanied by what sounded like a flock of geese. Coincidence or not, it was almost as if it wanted us to think that's all it was. It even started moving south at a speed that geese would fly for a few seconds and then shot off. For weeks after this event, my brother terrified us all with strange behavior and rants about aliens and religion. We even took him to the emergency room to make sure he wasn't on drugs. He wasn't. I am constantly looking towards the sky. My boyfriend has spotted other UFO's. He said there were three sets of triangular shaped crafts that would fly together then separate into a triangular formation. That was about 3 months ago. The most recent was March 16, 2015. We were walking our dogs around 9 p.m. I was looking around at the stars, and I always notice this patch in the sky that looks like a greyish blue cluster, I am still not sure what it is, but I see it when the sky is clear. So I was looking at that then something caught my eye to the right. I felt like something was there but I didn’t see it within a couple of seconds, so I look back at that grey cluster. Then I see something again so I look more up and to the right and see a huge grey, black, chevron shaped flying object. It moved quick, but steady. It did not have any lights. I looked away and back towards it to see if I was seeing things, or my imagination running wild as usual. well I wasn't. I can't give you exact distances but It was low, close to the trees but not close enough to touch the trees. I seen it traveling for about 1 -3 minutes. I was in shock or something because it seemed like I was standing there for awhile, but it wasn’t there very long. It disappeared as it went up further into the atmosphere. I was reading about the lights of ufo's. It mentioned when the craft is in motion there is no sound and usually low, or no lights at all. I am trying to figure out why I did not see any lights, when most of the sightings of this craft have lights. After about 2 minutes I met my boyfriend on the porch. I seen these lights way up in the stars a few nights ago, but my boyfriend said it could just be stars. Well I am not sure but I was reading about the Chevron shaped craft, and found another type of craft called fireballs. What I seen was white, and moving very quickly, and shifting in various directions, unlike a plane or star. The first night I seen them, it was a full moon and the lights were flying towards the moon! My boyfriend seen it last night, there was only one, and now he thinks they were moving fast, and strange jus like I was telling him the first night I seen them. We have had other encounters, such as a bright ball of light coming from the sky, close to us. Thank you for your time, and I would really like to know more about what I saw. I am very interested in space!

I was at work today sitting at my desk. The office door was open. Thought I heard geese flying over. Went outside to look for them and noticed a white object moving straight north. Thought maybe it was a single goose, and started realizing that this was an aircraft, but it was moving at an extremely high speed and made zero sound. It was white with a black spot on the bottom.

This event happened a few years ago, but I did not know this website existed at the time. There were actually 2 other events that proceeded this one which I will explain later. I was out walking my dog on a bright starlit night with a few high level clouds. I was stargazing when I noticed a visual distortion about 60 feet above me. It was similar to a ripple in a smooth clear pond except it had a distinct 'V' shape leading edge. It was transparent and I could see the clouds above it but no stars until the 'V' moved about 40 feet when they would reappear. I concluded that would be the trailing edge. The 'V' angle was about 135* and 100+ feet wingtip to wingtip moving around 5 mph due north. At first I thought maybe it was an illusion so, I turned away and focused on the house next to me and then returned my gaze back to the 'V'. It continued its northerly flight with no sound or lights until my dog and I lost sight of it behind the tree line. Early the next evening, two A10 (??) military jets traveled the same south to north route at tree top level shaking everything in the house. I called the police to find out what was going on but they said no else had reported the flyover and had no information. Two weeks prior to this sighting, while again walking my dog about 1 hour before sunset, a stationary bright orangish globe was in the south sky at maybe 2000 to 3000 feet. It started to move slowly west toward the setting sun. After about 30 seconds it moved almost vertical at a blazing speed and was beyond sight within 3 seconds. At the time, I thought it was probably an effect of the sun getting low on the horizon. But, the color was very different and somewhat similar to a sodium-vapor lamp. Two days later, my wife and I were eating an early dinner around 4 PM at a nearby restaurant. We were sitting next to a west facing window and I started to described the strange orangish globe to her. We both casually turned to l! ook out the window and there was the globe I was describing at! some di stance away moving east toward us. It's speed was fast but not unusual and we lost sight of it behind some buildings. No other sightings have occurred since then.

We were sitting on a roof just east of the Mississippi river stargazing. We then noticed this black object moving in the sky. The object was somewhat difficult to see because it was black with no lights, but it was undoubtedly there. It seemed to be in the shape of a boomerang or plane and it was rather large. Three of us watched as it flew rather slowly and silently north.

Grey or charcoal color wing shaped craft with a curved aft to a point. No lights were observed, and no sound. Craft looked to be segmented with lines being spaced evenly and were oriented from front to back. Craft looked to be approximately 200' wide and was flying at a low altitude of around 500'. Low enough to make out details of the craft even in low light conditions. Craft moved from the West to the East. Craft was visible for approximately 30 seconds as it moved across the sky. Craft never changed speed or altitude. No sound was heard at any point.

Putting chickens into sheds for evening, when myself and my colleague heard a loud humming noise above us. We looked up and saw a huge chevron shaped thing just moving real slowly towards the hills in a northerly direction. It was solid and black with four dim lights on each side which we yellow or white. It was huge and at least five times the size of a 747 jet. We estimated it was about 1500 feet up in altitude. We watched it disappear over the top of the hill out of site.

I was travelling south on I-77 from the 7th Street exit (Rt. 50) heading toward Mineral Wells, somewhere around 21:00 to 22:00 hours, and I saw to the east a UFO. At first, I thought it was a strange light post. It was right after where they put up new light posts, and i thought the lights were going bad on that one, but then I realized it was off in the woods. It was a Chevron the size of about 3 fighter jets wide, and it was hovering quietly over a spot. Because I'm kind of telepathic, I tried to drive passed it really fast. I headed toward Parkersburg on 14 from the Mineral Wells exit, and where the road goes from two lanes to one, I saw a blue and red lights flying too fast for a plane over the terrain. I thought to myself, "Awesomely patriotic, red and blue." Well I could telepathically hear, "We mean no harm." So I went to PIzza Hut to pick up my order in South Parkersburg, and as I was heading home to Mineral Wells, along Rt. 14, I saw it hovering over the hill along side of the road shining its spotlight onto the road near where I saw the blue and red lights minutes earlier. Mind you, this is now west of the interstate and south of its original location. I think it was looking for me because the telepathy thing. I was actually quite scared to keep driving, and I tried to keep with a guy in the left lane just to be around people, and he turned off, so I drove as fast as I could into Mineral Wells exit with the people of the gas stations and restaurants with the craft on my left (looking more coned shape by now) hovering next to me, and I pulled into the Wendy's drive thru, and they said they left the area because I was frightened. That time, I'd say the duration was an easy 2 minutes.

I heard a helicopter flying low over my house and went out to see what was going on. I saw the helicopter and then noticed a bright v-shaped light/object in the northwest sky, around 30 degrees above the mountains. It appeared to be emitting light beneath it. I viewed it from several locations in my yard and it looked the same. I got my son (20) and wife and they also saw it. It was brighter and twice as big as anything else I could see. I went inside after about 20 minutes and looked online to see if anyone else was reporting it. I went out about 10 minutes later and it was gone, although a bright star that was under and to the right of it was still visible.
