Two friends and I took a ride up Sinks Canyon which is approximately 10 minutes south of Lander. We were going on a drive and it was the middle of winter. We looked up and saw a bright white light. We were sitting in a one seater pickup truck. I thought perhaps it was the moon. My friends corrected me and the moon was on the opposite side of the sky. It appeared to be a large floating white light. It was a couple thousand feet above the top edge of the canyon. We started to talk about it and it turned to an orange light. It looked like it had moved a mile across the sky within seconds and vanished entirely.

It was a very bright light & very high up. At the same time an airplane passed below that was also high but not as high as this was. It was travel from the west heading East toward the ocean at a good steady speed. When all of a sudden it darted South and upward out of sight. Satellite re-entry?? PD

Orb of light, looked like star but then shot NE like a large shooting star, but looked like they hit "light speed" after a short distance, making a ripple effect. Thanksgiving vacation to Fontainebleau State Park. Thanksgiving night between 10:00-11:00 pm, I was sitting with some family around fire pit looking at the stars. Seen a bright light I figured to be a star, but then all of a sudden, it created a streak of light going East, unsure about distance but it looked very far away, after the streak it created a bright light and a ripple and disappeared. Very similar to what you would see on a movie when the ship goes tp light speed, but this was very real.

I live in Alameda, California. I saw something in the middle of the night last night that I feel compelled to report to you. I have been unable to sleep at night this past month, and have become used to lying awake in bed while it is dark, and then falling asleep as day breaks. I have attributed this to stress, as my stress levels this past few months have been off the charts. I have recently started sleeping with the windows open, since the cooling breeze off San Francisco Bay comes through my bedroom window. As I live on the third floor of the building, it is uncomfortably warm most of the day, so I welcome the cool breeze. There is another building approximately 20 feet away out this same window that is about 4 feet taller than this one, I am thus afforded a bare horizontal “strip” of sky, starting above the building next door, ending with the top boundary of the window, covering a span of approx 10 degrees of sky, as the primary view out my bedroom window. Most nights I simply lie there and stare at that strip of sky, which, frankly, is quite dull. At most, I catch a plane or two slowly circling in its low-altitube path toward the Oakland International Airport, which is about five minutes from my apartment building. There is the occasional star that will break through the haze, or be plainly visible on clear nights, but I have never seen anything unusual, until last night/this morning. During the wee hours (approx 3:50am) this morning (11-23-17), I was lying there, staring out the window, unable to sleep again. It was fairly overcast last night, with a faint star sometimes shining through the overcast haze as it would thin at times, and then becoming invisible again. This is usually what I see, other than the occasional plane on its low-altitude path to OAK airport. At approx 3:50am, my jaw dropped open as I saw a single bright white light ZOOM past, completely in my view. It went by in literally a split second, but I clearly saw it. My window faces a few degrees NW of true West, so this object would have been travelling a few degrees NE of true North. Its path was completely horizontal, ie: it went in a line parallel with the top of the next building. There was NO sound. It was completely silent. It was obviously low enough to be below the overcast haze. It was uncharacteriscally bright. It also travelled faster than anything I have seen before. It literally ZIPPED past my window, flying horizontally, in the span of a second . It was there, coming into my view from the left, travelling to the right, and was gone. This is only the second sighting of something I had no explanation for in my life. It was flying faster than any aircraft I have ever seen, including fighter jets. Much faster. And there was no sound as it went past, ruling out a fighter jet. And it was a single, bright white dot of light. No red, no blue, no green, no blinking. Just a steady white light travelling horizontally, faster than anything I’ve ever seen before. As far as altitude or distance, my only frame of reference is that it was below the layer of haze, but above the roof of the building next door, obviously. And it was brilliantly bright white. My overall impression was that it was flying fairly “low”, compared to how high the planes coming into OAK usually fly. I have not seen any other reports from early this morning, so I have no idea if anyone else saw it and said anything about it. It was gone before I could even begin to clamber out of bed to see if I could see it off to the right. Thank you for taking the time to read this. As I said, this is only the second time in my life that I have seen something in the sky that could not be explained away by conventional explanations. The only other time I’ve seen something inexplicable was entirely different. It happened in 1999, when I lived in Austin, Texas. I lived in the country at the time, and was taking a walk down our long dirt driveway to make sure our front gate was closed. It had to have been between 10pm and midnight, but I do not remember the exact month and day. I want to say it was in the middle of summer. Our property was oriented squarely on the East/West axis, so our driveway was a 400 foot straight dirt road along our North border, running exactly East-West, with the gate at the road being on the Eastern boundary. It was an overcast night, so the cloud ceiling was obvious, as the city lights a few miles away bounced off the haze and created bit of a pinkish glow to the clouds. Glancing up slightly so my eyes took in the Eastern horizon I saw a large, unmistakeably rigid “V” shaped bank of oddly cohesive clouds moving directly from North to South, about 15 degrees above the horizon. It was like watching a “fuzzy pink V of clouds” move silently in a straight line. It was not moving fast, but steadily and silently. It disappeared behind a bank of trees on our property and i was not able to follow it any further. No sound, no lights emanating from it, but rather a true “V” that seemed to be made of clouds, moving silently and steadily, and what seemed purposefully, from North to South, at a consistent rate of speed. This was not “clouds being blown aimlessly by the breeze”…there were no other “low” clouds below the ceiling of the overcast sky. There were absolutely no “lower” clouds present at all, besides this “V”. This thing moved steadily, as if propelled at a consistent rate of speed. I remember thinking, “Cloaked craft made to look like clouds?” at the time. I was heavily into UFO research during that period of my life, and had, of course, read/seen the reports of “V-shaped craft”, but this thing was not your typical “big black V”…it had no lights, and it had to have been huge…covering at least several city blocks in the span between the “tips” of the ends of the “V” shape. It was not a solid triangle, but instead a “V” or “boomerang” of pinkish fuzzy clouds moving below the obvious cloud ceiling above. I never saw it nor anything like it again. Sorry to have squeezed two sightings into one report, but actually remembered the Austin sighting after detailing the one. Thank you again. I check your site regularly for new reports. Yours is the most measured and least “hyped and sensationalized” of all the “ufo reporting” sites out there, and I commend you on your method of reporting.

I was walking back to my car ending my early AM exercise routine in Griffith Park. I looked in the sky and saw a light slowly moving from the southwest to the southeast. It looked like a large light and a very dim small light. I watched and after about 30 seconds it got brighter. This usually indicates a satellite because it is spinning. About 5 seconds it got dim again. I continued watching it until it disappeared behind some trees. I got in my car and came back to my apartment. When I was driving back, I saw the same light moving at the same speed in the same direction. I was pretty sure at this time it was a satellite. When I got back into my apartment I went to my computer and opened up Stellarium (a very good program to see the night sky at any particular time). Stellarium also views major satellites at the time. I looked up the time at 5:35 and the direction that the object was moving. The unidentified object turned out to be the Hubble Telescope. Stellarium is a free program to download.

latest was 21 nov night, I saw a bright star out of place...or maybe I felt it I don't know...strange feeling... I was afraid, I know the feeling, like goosebumps, electric feeling in spine.Hard to remember. Always the same, fuzzy memories, like waking from a hangover. woke up with pain in ear, strange smell like ammonia. It's hard to explain. I always thought it was a dream, nightmare. Last year I got a dog to help, he pissed the floor and bit me when I touched him in morning. This has gone on as long as I can remember but now I know it is not a dream. Need to know if I can kill it. I don't know what it is but nothing has ever made me so afraid, I'm sure it does not mean me well. I am a combat veteran who served with the 82nd airborne in Iraq 03-04 and do not scare easily. I had a memory come back to me a few years ago of one in my room, only time I can recall seeing it, small dark thin, it knew I saw it and I blacked out. I don't know if I'm repressing the memories or if I'm bat shit. It is almost painful to try to remember and normally give up and go about my life. Lately, I wake up with bruises, cuts, rashes...allergic reactions. At this point I am going to try to kill them, set traps and sleep with dog and gun. I wish I could put more in here, but it's like i'm in a fog when I try. Please help me to understand what is happening. And do you know if anyone has had success defending themselves and if so how. I was traveling home from work, west bound on I-24, around 5:40pm, and around mile marker 80, or so, I saw 2 large lights in the sky to my left. They were bigger than any plane or stars in the sky, and were just sitting there not moving. I then saw a 3rd light to the right of those just above the horizon line, and it shot at a 45 degree angle upwards towards the other 2 white lights. The light farthest to the left then seemed to fade like it was going away from me. I lost sight of the lights just before Mile Marker 77 because there is a big heavily wooded hill that blocks the view of the sky just briefly, but after I passed the hill and regained view of the skyline, all 3 lights were gone. I have seen 2 lights in that same area maybe 6 or 7 years ago while riding home from work on the same road close to the same time and at that time, I thought I was about to witness a plane crash, or something, as the lights were spiraling around each other heading towards the ground, but then stopped just above the horizon. My friend, whom I carpooled with, was driving, and I asked him if he seen those crazy lights just out of his left window, but he did not, and just as i said above once I lost sight of the sky due to the terrain I couldn't find them again. I came home and told my brother about the lights I saw recently and he typed in west ky ufo sightings and lo and behold he found a story on this sight that was so similar to what I had seen and in the same place that I had to post this in hopes that the previous poster sees this and gains some sort of verification to his story. The light started off as white. Flashing in an off pattern. The light slowly began moving away. Then changed directions and headed towards us. We heard no engine noise. After it got within a certain distance, it disappeared behind a nearby hill. There appeared to be three lights. Red, green, and white. They all had their own pattern.

From my rooms window at night after work, as I was getting ready to go to bed I noticed, what I had initially thought was the red beacon hilltop light on the hill from the tower. (These beacon lights are on the tops of the foothills near Reno). I realized however, that’s not what it was, and it began moving up, and down bobbing in the air (I estimated it to be about 1,000 feet off the flat ground, since it was bobbing just above the hilltop. This is typically where I recall seeing the red beacon light on a nightly basis after work. I sat still on my bed, and watched it, I noticed it had a slightly different glow to it, and then it started to strobe intermittently remaining bright red, but differently than the hilltop beacons, which I had not been able to notice for some strange reason at this time. It’s strobe got larger until it discharged, a huge amount of red light all the way to the valley floor, arcing it downwards, as well as upwards, it did this ! massive strobe twice only. It slowly, kept its bobbing motion up and down, it lightly diminished in brightness until it completely went out. I had the feeling that someone else must have seen this, as it was so bright. Not sure who was intended to see it, but it looked like performing some type of intermittent communication. This could NOT have been a “Drone”, it had lots of palpable energy behind that output of light.

I kept watching as we approached them, looking for a tower of some sort that they would be attached to. I assumed they were farming lights of some sort, but I kept my eyes on them for five minutes straight at one point. As soon as we got close enough, almost right under them, and I realized they were not farm lights and that they were not attached to any type of tower.. They disappeared.

I just copied this directly from my Fbook Page: “I Just saw another UFO. It came very fast from 300 degrees WNW. I was a bright red light with a second that came on randomly. It came to a full bobbed left, right and backward then continued to a position almost directly above me then an abrupt stop again. Now a fast pulsing green light appeared on its left and the second red light came around from behind and dodged around a bit on the right side then disappeared behind it. There was a wispy cloud around it and I could see light reflecting from the cloud as if a search light was employed an moved as if it was looking for something around and above it. I didn’t observe the source of the light. But could see the beam coming from the top of the object. The object itself was obscured by the brightness of the red and green lights. It then staggered back toward where it came from and disappeared over the horizon. Again in 300 degrees WNW. My location was close to Briggs and Kettle View park and perhaps 5 miles from the local airp! ort. At first I believed it was going to turn and make an approach for landing and was just a high flying plane. I did notice it was absolutely silent but while it was above me I heard the roar of two jets on about after the second. Sounded like F15s. I have seen the Gov’s Lear jet come and go from this vantage point but never hear it power up or down unless it’s right above me. I grew up near Elmendorf AFB and that roar is unmistakable. my locale BTW is Olympia, WA. Did anyone else see this???by the time I got to my new Iphone and figured out the path to video capture it was over. I couldn’t take my eyes if it. I have seen thing in the sky a handful of times but this was by far the closest and most emotional for me. Please PM me if you saw this too.”

Me and my mom were driving to the store and saw what looked like a shooting star but realized it wasn't since it was very slow moving and as it got closer to the mountains it got very large and very bright! It landed and made a bright flash near the building in the mountain that used to be Atomics International (there was a nuclear meltdown years ago).

Was driving westbound on the 101 through Agoura Hills and saw what appeared to be an enormous shooting star coming downward, due west, toward Ventura. Instead of fading away like every other shooting star I've ever seen, it jumped across the sky, seemingly several miles in less than a second, southwest, then froze somewhere just above the Santa Monica Mountains. I've never seen anything accelerate, cover that much distance, and then come to a halt so fast. It defied logic. I kept my eye on it for about two more minutes and exited the freeway at Kanan Road. It looked like a really bright star. It was moving ever-so-slightly over what looked like the middle of the Malibu Hills, maybe near Sandstone Peak, then disappeared behind them.

Le jeudi 16 novembre 2017, vers 00h50, le témoin sort afin de fumer une cigarette. Il aperçoit, vers le Nord, un point lumineux dans le ciel, comparable à une étoile mais de teinte blanche avec du rouge dedans. Le phénomène semble bouger de droite vers gauche puis de haut en bas, un peu en cercle. Il l’observe durant un quart d’heure et rentre chez lui. Il ne le verra pas disparaitre. Il aura eu le temps de le filmer. Un seul témoignage est recueilli. La consistance du cas est assez faible. Il manque beaucoup de renseignements et la vidéo. Le témoin reste injoignable à la date de rédaction du présent rapport. L’étrangeté réside essentiellement dans le fait qu’au Nord aucune étoile remarquable ne semble pouvoir causer une méprise. Les mouvements décrits pourraient être dus à un effet dit d’autokinésie. Mais le témoin stipule que le PAN aurait monté à 90° à la fin de l’observation. Cette indication explique aussi l’étrangeté élevée du cas. Les éléments manquants sont certainement disponibles auprès du témoin, mais toute nos tentatives pour le joindre se sont avérées infructueuses. Le témoin ne répondant pas à nos sollicitations nous ne pouvons pas conclure par manque d’informations. Dans la méthodologie GEIPAN, si l’étrangeté est forte la consistance doit l’être aussi pour un classement en D. Ici la vidéo aurait certainement été précieuse pour avoir une idée du phénomène décrit et augmenter la consistance du cas. Le GEIPAN classe le cas en C : manque d’informations. I am a truck driver and on I-25 south between Soccorro, NM, and Truth or Consequences, NM 7 miles from the rest stop. I spotted a orange light turn on in the sky outside my driver's window, then it began to flash on and off into three lights as it moved across the sky. When they turned off, I flashed my trailer lights off and on three times to mimic what I had seen and to my surprise the orange lights turned on again in the sky and blinked three more times at me before they once again turned off. I grabbed my cell phone turned it to video and flashed my lights three times once again, one more time the orange lights turned on and blinked it’s lights at me. There was no sound coming from the lights and seemed to get closer to the highway this last time. I was able to catch it on video. There is nothing but desert where I seen the lights. They were probably 3 miles away but the lights were big and bright. Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD
