April 7, 2020 · 6:45 PM · FIREBALL

Fort Lauderdale, FL

While seated looking east from a 10th floor I suddenly saw a large Fireball descend to what appeared to be almost 200 feet in altitude. The object was falling vertical then arched to the west and to the south above my building. The object passed to my south when I showed my wife, who with me saw the Fireball break into four fireball parts and then disappeared. No sound was associated with this observation. I have never seen such an event in my life time.

Kalispell, MT

Bright orange fireball moving overhead toward the south and then slowing to move southeast. Object appeared to be in orbit and was visible beyond stratus cloud layer. The moon was slightly visible during the same time. I speculatePossible falling satellite burning up on entry.

Kirkwood, NY

(Note for investigators: I'm submitting this for someone else, the contact info I gave is my own as I'm not sure if they'd be okay with me giving out theirs, however, I do have their permission to submit this here. I hope that isn't an issue). At approximately 9:20pm on Saturday, April 4th of 2020, my aunt and uncle were outside, back behind their out-of-town house. After a few minutes, they noticed an orange, almost reddish light above the far treeline that they'd never seen before, and after observing it briefly my uncle pulled out his phone and began recording it (1). After watching it hover in place for a few minutes, they watched the object slowly move towards and subsequently disappear behind the treeline, before reappearing a few minutes later (about 10 minutes or so), this time in a slightly different spot. My uncle pulled out his phone and began recording again, and then passed the phone to my aunt so he could use his binoculars to get a closer look at the object (2). My aunt, unfortunately, ends up losing sight of the object with the camera about 57 seconds in, and they head down the driveway in an attempt at getting a better view of it - but it ends up disappearing again. The third video picks up once it appears for the third time, and my uncle gets a good look at it through his binoculars. He described it as a ball of orange light with a sort of yellow aura around it, and the light emanating from it seemed to be coming from the bottom of the object, and traveling up it. The object made no noise (though there is a highway located a bit far in the opposite direction, and the noises you hear occasionally are from passing cars). After watching the object sit still for about 3 minutes, it begins to move again (though hard to see as the camera is zoomed in, it happens at about 3:28), and then 12 seconds later at 3:40 in the video, it completely vanishes from the sky. My uncle observes it as it does so, and says that in its place was what looked to be a black orb, with a sort of "smoke" around it. The object made no noise that they could hear, and this is the only time that they've seen anything like it there (they've been living in that area for some years). I've been up there as well and haven't seen anything like it, either. Playlist of the videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnMLjJ5K18MbvTPmv7w2ZKkGR5bIUrKPt (1) First video: A short recording, taken about a minute or so after they initially noticed the object. (2) Second video: Taken a few minutes later, after they watched it move in and out of sight and reappear. Around the 57-second mark, my aunt accidentally moves the camera too much and lose s sight of the object for the remainder of the video. (3) Third video: Taken once the object reappeared for the third time, and towards the end of the video you see it slowly fade out before disappearing. (4) Fourth video: Though taken a few days later, my uncle shows the spot they were in during the filming of the third video, giving you a view of the treeline.

Petersham, MA

Ok, this is NOT an April fools joke. At 3:45 this morning the sky was crystal clear, looking south/ SW (about 210 degrees) we saw an orange glow just above the tree tops. At first I thought it was the planet mars but realized it was moving upwards in the sky. Very slow at first then noticeably faster. We watched for at least 2 minutes then it disappeared and you could hear the thrust like a rocket engine after. I know Wallops Island, VA, has launches that can occasionally be seen from here. Anyways I have been searching the internet and can't find anything about a launch or any reports. Very strange.

Pulaski, VA

I was about to go to bed when i looked out the window and saw 5 white orbs or lights in the distance high in the sky behind my house .These orbs seemed to be transforming from 5 objects to 1 and I went outside for a closer look. After observing this phenomenon for 10 minutes or so I turned around to go back in the house and over my shoulder 50 ft in the air was a fireball like orb that moved closer and farther away for at least 15 minutes.

Seattle, WA

According to reports on social media the object(s) seen which appeared to be a cluster of burning red and yellow fireballs was the result of a Space X Falcon 9 failing to make a "deorbit burn." The following tweet link provides the explanation and shows a sky trajectory of Northeast which aligns with my personal sighting and as seen in social media videos. (Falcon 9 space x explanation below) https://twitter.com/shawntelford/status/1375303570019389440?s=21 I viewed the objects from the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle looking to the east for approximately 20 seconds. To note, on the tail end of the burning fireball object appeared to be a flashing plane object on the same trajectory path. Nearby animals such as the neighbor dog and coyotes in the greenbelt 100yds to the east were quiet. However, the coyotes about 30 minutes later did start howling- to note on this, they have been howling during evening hours regularly the last two weeks.

Facing North me and my husband saw first one of three pulsating reddish fireballs that manifested low and began to shoot directly up vertically then slowed down to a stop after that it got to a higher elevation it bag an to slowly pulsate out. Before completely disappearing there was a second one that cane up exactly where the first one did and followed the trajectory with a few minor dud fences and then finally the last one did the same.

March 21, 2020 · 10:30 PM · FIREBALL

Emmaus, PA

I was walking my dog at 10:30 as i arrived home i looked up and saw what appeared to be a fire ball moving across sky in my direction. I called in to my wife and kids and they came out and witnessed it. Then it stopped moving and hovered, no longer moving across sky. It did this for about 60 minutes and then literally just disappeared.

March 18, 2020 · 8:40 PM · FIREBALL

Clearlake, CA

I witnessed 9 bright orange lights in the sky above Clearlake, California. They appeared in a line and then started to move to more of a circular shape. One moved through the circular formation without striking any of the others and dissapeared. Within 60 seconds the rest dissapeared one by one. There was no sound, and seemed to be close. When they faded away there was no trail. The only trail I witnessed was from the one light that flew through the circular formation.

Paramount, CA

On 3/15/20 at 8pm PST I was going to my neighbors to let her know dinner was ready, when I noticed a reddish/orange light to the east of me that looked like it was on fire. The object was approximately 30 degrees up in the sky from my angle. I was with my neighbor and pointed it out to her. At first we thought it was a plane that was on fire and crashing and then the fire appeared to stop. The object was still very bright but had a darker circular center area. Then again it appeared to be back on fire with flames shooting high in the sky above it and it started moving very irratically, up/down, forward/backwards and diagonally. We then realized that this was very unusual. We tried to film it with my neighbor's iPhone but it would not show up on her camara but it was clearly visible by eye. This lasted for about 3 minutes and then the object left eastward at an extremely high rate of speed and went from looking like a blimp on fire to a pin point in less than a second and disappeared and was over.

Red Springs, NC

So I’m on my nightly walk like I always take and up in the sky I see two balls of Fire fly across the sky and disappear behind the clouds. They were moving too slow to be shooting stars and they had no flashing hazard beacons so they were no aircraft

March 8, 2020 · 7:45 PM · FIREBALL

Los Angeles, CA

Four orange/yellow fireballs were seen off in the distance as planes were descending nearby. Slowly, 2 of them faded out like a shooting star. Then a new fireball appeared. And the remainder left eventually faded out in the same way.

March 7, 2020 · 6:57 PM · FIREBALL

Rochester, NY

I was moving my mother in law to Cleveland from Massachusetts, around 18:57 I was driving the uhaul truck in the front and my wife driving the car following me, I was mesmerized by a flock of migratory birds, when I was looking at them I noticed and silver object kind of covered in a reddish flame or aura outline it seems like a fireball going up but it was stationary. The object was to the left and in a flash it it was in front of us I tried using my phone to take a picture but before I was able it vanish out of sight. I called my wife to see if she saw it too but she didn't but her mother was in the car with her and she saw it.

March 6, 2020 · 7:45 PM · FIREBALL

Reading, PA

On Friday night at about 7:45 PM I took notice to numerous orange colored lights passing by our property in the sky. The objects appeared round in shape. My wife also viewed the lights and videotaped same with cell phone. The objects made no noise as they passed. At times they would appear in view at 3 or 4 in single file. They appeared to come from a westward location and headed in an eastern direction. There were no flashing lights on the objects, just a lone orange colored light for each object. We have to say we saw at least 25 of these objects .It was snowing lightly at the time of the event. There was a delay in reporting because we awaited any report appearing in the local news (none seen). I have been employed in law enforcement for 36 years. My wife is in the education field.

March 1, 2020 · 7:00 PM · FIREBALL

Queen Creek, AZ

There was one initial ball of orange and red light that went in a straight line across the night sky approximately four or so miles high in altitude. The "ball of light" did not leave any kind of trail behind it and remained circular the entire time. There was absolutely no noise and it did not blink like a plane would. The speed was too fast for an airplane at its altitude, even the fighter jets we watch due to luke air base. This was not a meteorite as it was too slow and the light was not correct, leaving no "tail". The trajectory was flat, not varying in height. There was also no variance in speed. The "ball of light" dimmed after approximately 30 seconds then blinked out well before reaching the horizon. Right after the initial "ball of light" disappeared two more followed approximately 18 seconds later. These two were exactly the same as the first and were side by side along the exact same path and altitude. 17 seconds after the two "balls of light" the fourth and final one came into view and again followed the same exact path at the same altitude. Everyone of them disappeared in the same exact location well before getting out of viewing range. They were all the exact same color, orange and red mix, which is why they looked like flying perfectly round balls of flame. Again there was absolutely no 'tail' and couldn't have been a meteorite. As a naturalist in a different state for over a decade I can attest it was something I had never before seen even after many hundreds of star gazing programs.

Glenwood, UT

I was driving north on a local dirt road about 2 miles west of Glenwood, Utah. There was a kind of bright white flash and then saw a white light traveling North East. It was very quick with a trail behind it. My passenger also saw it as well. The first thing that came to mind was perhaps debris

At about 9:30 I was outside my it was dark when looking northwest towards Mt Roberts I noticed a large orange litte. It was just above horizon and just to the sddouth of the mt peak. I would estimate if I held my arm out it was as big as my thumbnail. I moved to the side to get a better view and the object had dissappeared I went back inside and told my wife, it was reported to local dispatch. When I read blotter in Tobacco Valley News and it was same direction and time

February 25, 2020 · 11:21 PM · FIREBALL

Daly City, CA

I happened to be looking up at the sky, exactly where the streak of bright light started. At first I thought it was a meteor, but it was much bigger, brighter, & it went on longer than a typical meteor (about 3-4 seconds). & then it broke up into pieces, creating a long tail, before it disappeared.

February 24, 2020 · 10:00 PM · FIREBALL

Kennebunkport, ME

I was on my porch and across the marsh a fireball that looked like a bunch of different lights was hovering over the water about 25 feet right below the treeline. It all of a sudden disappeared into itself. I caught it on my shaky phone camera! So cool.
