4 Bright Orange Lights in the sky few miles out formation in a group moving and then fading out as if traveling away from me....Going to work and at 2:54am on new years day morning, i had just left the house and saw 4 bright orange lights what looked to be about 40 degrees 5 miles away in the very clear sky. I am 44yrs old, amateur astronomer for decades-own an 8" and 15" reflector telescope that i ground, polished, figured and built myself i share this info to give me some sort of credibility in my sky observation ability's. the bight orange lights were silent (jet sound/helicopter) lights were hovering toward another till one by one they diminished in size as if they were traveling away from me. flares/fireworks out of the question. this was truly my first experience with ufos. my first thoughts were flares but ruled that out fairly quickly after the motions were being controlled. well that's all i got. thank you.

On January 1st 2018 between the time of 12:15-12:30 am. While walking to my cousins house, returning from watching fireworks from the Belle Meade area of Biscayne Bay in Miami Florida. I was walking West on NE 72nd Street when I noticed a very bright red/orange light coming from the NW direction. The object from the best I could tell was far away across Biscayne Boulevard over another neighborhood. When it got directly in front of me, still far away it stopped and hovered in one spot for several seconds. I could not hear if it made any sound and it was still very, very bright red. I thought it was a helicopter but it made no noise and didn't have search lights. The light/s shut off on the object and it flew South in a straight line. I could still see it and tracked it for a few seconds before it was out of site. It looked gray and was oval/disc shaped. I told my wife what I was seeing right when the lights went out, so she nor any of the others in our group ! witnessed it. The entire event was took place in less than 30 seconds.

Two lights flying next to each other slowly. The lights were like a soft yellow glow but much darker yellow than the normal plane lights we see. One of the lights zoomed off into a random direction and disappeared and the other one slowly faded away. Then a few moments later they same light appeared but only one instead of two. Then it disappeared.

Me my boyfriend and daughter where driving when I noticed three orange/red lights that where moving together in a triangle formation when one by one the lights started dropping smaller lights from it until that light disappeared and then the same thing happened to the next light until they all where gone right before new years

Around 8:30 pm my cousin and I went outside of our house to wait for a friend that was supposed to be pulling up. My cousin was holding onto a balloon filled with helium and she ended up letting go, so we both looked to the sky to watch it float away. While we were looking to the sky, west of where we were standing, we both saw a very bright orangey-yellow light flying upwards from behind a couple of trees. It wasn't very close, it seemed to be a few neighborhoods over, and we were just watching it fly up. An airplane was flying at the time and I am very familiar with airplane lights, so when my cousin assumed it was an airplane, I assured her that it was not. It was extremely bright and sort of round, so it could not have been an airplane. I only saw one, and in order to rationalize it, I thought that it could have been a paper lantern someone had lit and released into the air, that's how bright it was. However, it started getting higher in the sky and closer! to where my cousin and I were standing. If it was a paper lantern, in a couple of minutes it should have caught fire and burned up. The light started dimming and that's what I assumed it was doing under the paper-lantern theory, and then it disappeared. We were still out there waiting for the friend, and after the 3 minutes it spent in the sky, I noticed it started glowing again after disappearing. It regenerated in the same position in the sky that it disappeared. Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD

I have never seen anything like it. My husband did take a brief video of the last 3 lights. I am unsure if these were crafts that had lights on them or if they were just lights but I don't see how they could have been just lights due to the way they moved. They made no sound and they were not anything man made in that you would normally see in the sky.

Several Red lights about 30 degrees above the horizon to the east of Anthem AZ. Seemed to be fairly stationary in th sky. Pulled over to get a better look and they slowly faded out from view.

Was driving south on the 55 freeway near the 17th street exit, traffic slowed significantly as a large bright orange and white light passed over the freeway. When I returned home I checked online to see if there had been any planned rocket launches by Space X, or any reported sightings, but haven’t found anything, not even on social media.

My wife and I spotted a blinking white light that looked like an aircraft in the northern sky. The blinking light originally moved like an airplane but it would then be erratic, disappearing for a moment then reappearing a ways away from where it was last seen and moving in a different direction that it was originally traveling. At times it would be stationary then begin moving again. Location and direction seemed to be completely random although it remained mainly in the same general area. We watched it for well over five minutes while driving on the interstate. At one point it appeared to move to a new area about fifteen degrees away from the original location then stopped altogether.

Was on back porch having cigarette and letting dog out. Very clear sky this morning, Selfridge Air Base is nearby to east. Detroit Metro Airport traffic usually travels from North West to South. This bright object caught my eye as it was “Lit” for a long duration (5-8 seconds) vs. “normal aircraft” constant blink. The light was white only and would slowly fade out and light again in random patterns and be very faint in between. Pulse would be better description than blinking. It started coming from West towards me (East) made various quick slight changes of direction (not following typical air traffic of Selfridge or Detroit Metro traffic) would say at first I thought perhaps a plane in distress. Than pulsed bright again only to fade out and move quick and suddenly towards South East. Was faint again for 15-20 seconds than pulsed again in a direct South and became faint and watched object travel extremely fast continuing in same Southern direction. The speed always was faster than normal jets from Selfridge would slow for moments still faster than normal jet. At the end when it moved “extremely fast” I would compare to shooting star speed. I did a hand sketch of flight pattern which I will email (in pdf form).

Le jeudi 28 décembre vers 05 heures du matin, un témoin observe durant trente secondes le passage Nord-Sud de deux points lumineux dans le ciel dégagé. Aucun bruit particulier n'est entendu. Le PAN disparaît derrière l'horizon. Un seul témoignage est recueilli . Un couple de satellites (deux satellites NOSS orbitant en duo) en fin de visibilité suit à peu près la même trajectoire que le PAN à l’heure (donnée approximative du témoin) de l’observation (voir le compte-rendu d'enquête). Selon les données de Calsky leur magnitude est faible pour être vue à l’œil nu, plus faible que SPICA (comme indiqué par le témoin), mais d’une magnitude qui reste dans le visible (mag 3). La durée d’observation estimée par le témoin (entre 30 secondes et 1 minute) n’est pas très précise pour confirmer le passage satellitaire. Mais, étant donné que le témoin n’avait pas de montre, il a pu sous-estimer la durée de l’observation. Cette imprécision ne nous permet pas d’être certain de l’hypothèse satellite, mais la probabilité est forte compte tenu de la particularité d’un duo de satellites. Ce cas est à classer en « B » comme probable observation de deux satellites se suivant sur une même trajectoire. [GEIPAN classification B — Satellite]

Myself and two neighbors witnessed red/orange steady light in sky traveling southeast. Single ball of light, never blinked. Traveled similar speed as other aircraft that are usually seen in the sky, but flight path direction was unusual from normal aircraft/helicopter/airport or military base traffic in our area. I got the attention of one neighbor who watched light when I saw it and agreed it was unusual. Another neighbor later walked by and asked me ifI just witnessed the light that she observed as well...she said she attempted to photograph light but it did not show up in picture.

My wife and I were driving west on I-565. I glanced towards the northwest and saw a green light/orb studded then rapidly shoot toward the ground. It wasn’t at a high elevation either so I didn’t think it was a shooting star. There is a US government arsenal and a NASA branch here. However, this happened over a populated civilian area.

I was looking towards South San Jose mountain line where many flight paths travel into S.J.C. airport. I saw a red ball travel vertical, stop and rich back towards the ground and change color to blue. Then at a high rate of speed travel up and down in a wave pattern. No human made craft can perform the maneuver I witnessed.

While driving saw 8 in some sort of formation with 3 on left in a triangle and others on right in a a loose rectangle with one on far right being really bright with multiple colors. Most were in amber color. Were moving west towards Ludlow, Mass..

Two star like object one flew over the top of me hovered over the top of me. Didn't make any noise real bright like a star thought it might be a plane but I didn't see any red or green lights couldn't make out any wings it hovered over the top of me it was so bright I couldn't make out any shape it had a dark bottom and real bright on top I looked down for about 20 seconds it was already in deep space and then I seen the other one fly across the sky to the exact same spot a disappeared

Two objects just happened to catch my eye while in my kitchen overlooking my back yard. It was a white light(the hue of incandescent lamps) and some sort of red light. Just as I opened the door to check them out, one headed toward Stockton, CA. and just disappeared. The other kept moving a bit and that too disappeared. There was absolutely no sound like that of an aircraft. I did not have enough tiem to snap a pic with my phone. At the time, it was partially cloudy but I have not seen anything even after I rushed out to look.

I grabbed my mother in law and said come outside there is something in the sky. I went in the house to grab my camera and when I came back outside my mother in law let me know that a yellow round light beam shot out for about 2 seconds and then a green light that was round shot out. From my understanding of air control rockets can emit beams of light due to aircraft's. They even tell you on new statements not to use lasers or appoint them randomly in the sky rad aircraft's. I called my brother who lives in Los Angeles he captured the event on video. This did not look like a rocket to me in the video. It looked more like a comet like object. If you look closely at the video you can see there's something in the trail like there's 2 objects. I've never seen a rocket leave a trail the way that this anomaly did. The most odd aspect of this event is how the light lit up the cloud like it was forming a cloud. Not to mention after my brother filmed this video he said that helicopters were following the anomoly. If this was a rocket what purpose would helicopters have in following a test rocket. Rocket launch at 5:27 p.m. (Pacific). We have changed the time indicated by the witness, to reflect an afternoon launch. PD

My partner and I saw a bright light with a trailing aura (like a wake spreading out behind a boat, only not V-shaped, but more U-shaped) slowly move across the sky. We live near the Phoenix-Sky Harbor flight path, so we see planes coming in a lot. This looked completely different than the normal planes we see coming in at night.

Village of Oak Creek, AZ
Tonight, in the Village of Oak Creek, near Sedona, Arizona, there were two large lights in the sky. It was witnessed by many people who were driving on Jacks Canyon and by others at the local grocery. I took 3 pictures, my husband took 4. There were two lights. The light on the right was bright and remained in the same place. The light on the left illuminated the object on the right as it gradually moved off to the left. The light remained in the sky and illuminated a round area above the mountain. It was not a spot light, it was strong and filled the sky over the mountain area. There was not any sound. It lasted approximately 4 – 5 minutes. Sighting of missile launch. PD
