As night approaches it has changed in color from a bright white to yellow and now a blue. It has been nearly three hours now and still has not moved at all. It has caught everyone's attention in the city. (( We suspect that the object was a hig-altitude, helium-filled balloon. One was reported to have been released from Ft. I am a ((deleted--law enforcement)) and my wife is an ((deleted--medical)) tech. I was taking her to work at 0600 and she was standing by the car staring up at the sky. I was walking towards her and asked what was she doing. She just pointed to the sky behind me and said nothing. I turned around and was surprised to see a bright white object moving very slowly. Only way I could describe it would be for you to picture driving your car at night and to see a motorcycle coming towards you. It would be about the size and shape of on coming headlights. Well, as we were both staring at it, speechless, it slowly looked as if it just kind of faded away. Slowly dispersing into the atmosphere. It seemed like it faded into most and then it was gone. It was a clear bright sky. So how it turned to mist baffled me. My wife and I just looked at each other, confused. We just went to the car at that point. I then came home and reported it here.

About 6am, I looked out my window and saw a white ball of light shooting east bound. It lasted about 15 seconds, then it fazed out, leaving a brown residue, then it quickly faded, too.

Got someone from inside my house to see (and make sure I was not imagining it). Then it slowly started moving north east until it past the tree lines. It was dark so it was hard to tell how high if was flying, but it was above the trees. That's when I lost sight of it. Possible drone, but with the airport so close I doubt it.

Mid-September 2014, 1-2:00am St. Albert, Alberta Approximately 30 feet above tops of street lights, perhaps 70-75 feet above ground, a small explosion with associated popping sound. Sound was very soft popping sound. The ambient sound prior was very quiet because time of night. This allowed me to hear and see just at the right time ( I was unable to sleep and smoking on the balcony). Circle of light green colour similar to northern lights green followed explosion and lasted about 3-5 seconds. Circle was quite round and appeared to be approx. one meter in diameter. Colour dissipated downwards over the 3-5 seconds. Reminded me of popping spores I have seen on documentary.

Once again in the evening at 19:24, lights suddenly appeared bright and then visibly dimming. This time there were 2 lights. Movement slightly erratic. There was a jet close by the occurrence showing staggering contrails but flying straight up. Location is low on the west mesa horizon. Due to cloud cover the when the lights went behind the cloud we lost visibility but the lights didn't reappear out of the clouds instead they reappeared a distance away from the cloud and suddenly. Tomorrow we will be watching again and hopefully I can capture video.

Driving out by the airport,the sky was dark but clear. I looked out the passenger window and couldn't explain what I saw. There was a plume of smoke with a bright large (maybe 10ft a cross ,it was difficult to gage how far into the distance it was ,or how high in the sky it was.) It looked like a giant flash light was shining down. I thought it was a meteor, but it didn't seem to be moving, nor did it look like what I'd expect a meteor ,or astroid ,or what have you. There was no tail, it was more compact.....stumpy. The man driving decided to pull over so he could get a better look, but just as he said it the light blinked a couple times and the just went out. Right when it went out, there seemed to be a little piece of something that was burning. It shot off to the upper left and immediately it burnt out. And that was it. All that was left was a poor of smoke. I was stunned, and I thought for sure with its size and the 15 seconds that I saw it, (let alone the actual filtration of time it was present) I was SURE somebody, somewhere had caught it with their cell phone, or camera. But, nothing. I heard nothing about it. I don't know what I saw, but I know it was something extraordinary. Finding this site helped me see that maybe I saw something even more unusual.

Harrisburg, PA – 8:42 pm – Sunday, September 7, 2014 Giant red-orange round light of almost blinding intensity – approximately 10 miles north of city heading due north in a straight line – low altitude over North Mountains. Sighting lasted 5-10 seconds and then went out. No visible smoke trail. No sign of military or civilian aircraft in area.

Me and my cousin where driving down powers in pine hills...while looking up in the sky we saw a bright orange circle...going up slow..then turning red..then shot straight off...(in upward direction). Disappearing.

Observed three red objects moving quickly from west to east, then veering southeast. First object passed the position of the moon and turned, the next two objects turned before. The objects appeared in the sky 60 to 90 seconds apart. The objects were traveling across the sky roughly 5x faster than commercial aircraft. All three were identical in shape - they were first seen as very bright red, and as they crossed they dimmed, completely the opposite of the light from a jet airplane flame. The objects were observed by three people - a 4y/o grandchild, her 28 y/o mother and a 52 y/o father, both older people with college educations. We walked out and immediately observed the first light - there may have been more.

circular lighted objects moving from the north west sky eastward. Once they reached a certain point overhead they disappeared. The objects appeared to be a thousand feet in altitude. There was a floating movement about them. No noise at all. At first I thought they were helicopters but no noise and the movement was unusual.

We were setting outback of our house looking at stars when we seen three different lights one south, one east, and one north east all three blinking the colors of green, blue, and red the lights were still in the sky only moving a little out from behind the tree line then moving back we have seen these same lights over a two week period. Now also earlier that evening there was a series of strange booms at first we thought they were fireworks but they kept getting louder they were just the sound no flashes of light or anything the booms lasted about 5 minutes they began when the first flashing light appeared around 10:00 pm and also there has been strange streaks of white light that appears just above the tree line and sometimes below all this occurring when the lights appear Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. It was a green sphere that you can see through. It was similar to a bubble. Me and three of my friends witnessed this sighting. It moved at different speeds and directions, even in zig-zags, then when it was leaving we all seen it go straight to the sky and it was just getting smaller and smaller as it disappeared.

I then saw a circular object with lights all around the sides of it. It was heading south and I watched it as I ran. It looked like it would go invisible for around 5 seconds and then pop up again. As I ran it got to a point where I couldn't see it anymore.

We live approximately 6 miles south of Elizabethtown, KY, and approximately 16 miles south of Fort Knox. At approximately 2230, on 4 Sep. 14, while walking my dogs, I noticed four bright objects, flickering red/green and hovering in the South/Southwest sky. At first I thought the objects were aircraft on approach glide path to Louisville Airport (SDF). They were evenly spaced and staggered: 2 aligned and higher in altitude, and 2 aligned at a lower altitude. After observing the objects for about 5 minutes I noticed that they were not moving. The objects in the southern sky appeared as follows: * * * * I brought my wife and 16 year old son outside to observe, and to help me identify the objects. We noticed a fifth object of similar size and shape flickering red/green to the West at about the same altitude as the other four. We watched the objects for about 20 minutes. The objects did not move from their positions and continued to flicker red and green. Other air traffic moved througout the sky near objects. Objects appeared to react towards aircraft by emitting a beam (very quick to the eye) and/or turning towards aircraft in an aggressive manner.

We saw 10 to 20 maybe even 30 red/orange shapes flying very slowly and together from Southwest to Northeast in the sky. Last few were somewhat stragglers, one of us saw triangle shape another saw roundish shape.
