My wife and I were in our back yard on Tuesday, February 13, at about 10:00 p.m. We both noticed a white cloud or light which resembled the exhaust from a jet plane across the sky. However, neither my wife nor I had noticed that type of plane exhaust across a night sky. The object remained in the sky for more that 15 minutes and so I decided to take a picture of the streak across the sky. It was to our amazement to see the bright light as the source of the “cloud” phenomenon in the picture I took with my iPhone 7. Neither my wife or I ever saw the bright light with out naked eyes; it was only in the photo that the bright source light appeared. Because we did not notice the source light at the time the photo was taken, it seems strange that it was not visible at the time of the picture was taken.My wife is retired and I am a college professor.

We were driving home and I turned to look to before turning right, when I first saw 8 bright lights. Four of them went left and the lights went to a small twinkle. Five bright lights remained and changed formation a bit but stayed mostly together. It appeared to have flashing lights that moved in a circular motion. This is the second time we have seen these lights. Previous occasion, through binoculars, the craft appeared very large and in somewhat of a triangular shape. They hovered for quite some time and moved in all directions with ease and great speed. Helicopters were heard before lights were seen.

There are at least six lights hovering in the sky. They appear to have a body and then lights coming off the top and bottom. If I had to describe the shape, I’d say there is a V on top, a horizontal line in the middle and a dot or two dots on the bottom. Completely composed of light. I thought the first one I saw was a drone, but it wasn’t moving. Then I thought maybe it was just a very bright star, but it’s refracting light and there are different colors - blue, red, green, white - very bright. The closest one has been there for at least 25 minutes, but definitely not as bright as it was.

I live on a hilltop 5 acres, in an extremely rural area with a full unobstructed view of the sky. I am a serious, sober 56 year old man who loves staring into the night sky. This area has some of the clearest skies anywhere. Last night while sitting outside, I happen to look towards the southern sky over the Burro Mountains and noticed a strange "bubble" of light that quickly grew into a massive translucent bubble through which I could see stars. This "bubble" was emitted by a slow moving, unblinking, noiseless craft that appeared as a point of bright white light, and was dwarfed by the "bubble". (More precisely, it was shaped more like a light bulb). This "bubble" was softly illuminated but not by its source nor by the moon, which was absent. It was a crystal clear, cloudless sky and there is no light pollution here. The bubble could easily fit a dozen full moons within it. The craft eventually disappeared from my view! and the "bubble slowly dissipated. The way it was illuminated reminded me of bio-luminescence as there was no external lighting source other than the stars. It was not dissimilar to the big bubble from the Wizard Of Oz. Space X booster venting fuel?? PD

A small light initially about the brightness of Mars or Venus, but as if out of focus which increased in magnitude while slowly moving in our direction approximately south to north. We were in Santa Fe looking south and it appeared the light was just east or NE of Albuquerque and south of Santa Fe. Then the intensity of the light increased and a haze was illuminated around the light as if something was shining a light inside a cloud or fog bank. The sky was very clear though and stars were visible adjacent to the light and haze so this did not appear to be a cloud being lit up. The light appeared to move east slowly at this point. The size of the haze increased. I went to get my phone to take video, but when I returned in less than a minute, the illuminated haze was spreading out and the light was fading and appeared to be moving away toward the south. The it was dark where it had been and stars were visible where the illuminated haze had been.

It crossed my mind that I may be about to witness a UFO, but I discarded it and kept walking my dog. I'm not sure why I had this impression. it was weird. The cloud was quite bright and appeared to be about 3 football stadiums in size, maybe 2000 to 3000 feet AGL. The crowd appeared to be about 5 miles away due south from where I was. it appeared as though either the moon or an aircraft was behind the cloud and illuminating it. The light source was behind the top of one tree, I could see light through the branches, but not make out what exactly the light was. I continued to walk towards the wash and continued to look at the cloud. About 10 seconds later the cloud came into view better. I noticed that it had a fan shape and could start to see more of the light source through the branches. The cloud was a wispy light cloud that appeared to be in a kind of Japanese fan shape. Approximately 5 to 10 seconds later the entire cloud and light source came into view. The light was centered in the corner of the fan, however still obscured by the branches and the cloud. Approximately 5 seconds later, I came to the end of the road and could get a more clear look at the cloud. The cloud had started to dissipate and the light dim. No more than 3-5 seconds later the cloud had shrunk to half of its size and the light dimmed considerable. No more than 3-5 seconds later than that there was nothing in the sky where I had been looking. It was a cold, clear, crisp light with no other fog, clouds or obscuration. The moon had not yet risen, I did not notice any helicopters, aircraft or weather balloons in the proximity that may of created the light source. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

Carlotta, CA February 6, 2018 18:29 to 18:30 PM Pacific standard time. Looking south about 30 degrees above the horizon I observed a glowing object. With binoculars I was able to make out two short gas jets. It moved southeast and as it approached the horizon the two gas jets became much longer. I think it could be a booster rocket reentering the atmosphere. It started out bright and small and became much longer with twin tails and more diffuse. At its longest it was about 1/2 degree long (about the width of the moon). It got to about magnitude -2 or -3 quite a much brighter than Sirius. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

looked to the south as I always do , and noticed a bright light getting brighter and moving a tail stared forming, I ran and grabbed my daughter and showed her by then its tail was very large lighting the sky up, it almost looked like what was seen in la a few months ago that supposedly was space ex, this was to the south going west to east and id say traveled for 5 minutes before it was gone

I was driving home and on the phone with my buddy when I happen to look over on my right in the sky there was light that was hovering in the sky and it like stood there for a second then a it made a fast sudden drop. This happen back in January or beginning feburay of this year the only thing I could think of it was the Pyrotechnic Specialties Inc in that direction but something to drop that fast seem unreal. While driving home, I noticed a straight line of approximately 4 or 5 lights appear in the sky (no sound). Then, they disappeared. Several minutes later, while still in the car in front of my house, they appeared again in the sky for just a few seconds and then disappeared. They were lights in a straight line - that appeared and then disappeared - almost like fireworks but not fireworks. This was next to Lake Weohyakapka, which is also close to the Avon Park Air Force bombing range, so it could have been something related to a military aircraft (but I've never seen anything like this and there was no noise).

While driving North on Alaska Highway 1 at 8:49PM, I seen what I thought was a radio tower that had red lights, abouts 2 miles in front of me. I thought to myself when did someone build a huge tower out here by the Y junction? I was confused with what I was looking at while trying to drive on the icy road. As I approached closer I then observed that there was no tower and just 9 red lights that were aligned in a row vertically. My first impression was someone is setting Chinese flying lanterns. I then began to observe the lights were moving about & 8 turned color to a amber orange color. I noticed another vehicle coming my direction in opposite lane. I slowed to about 25mph and pulled towards the shoulder of the highway. When the vehicle passed I then thought about getting my cell phone and stopping to take pictures or video. I changed my mind because I had my 2 children asleep in their car seats. So I kept driving slowly, and and kept looking at the lights which are now within 400 yards of my van. I remember looking at my dash display and it read -1 degrees outside. Visibility was unlimited and it was cold and clear out. I could see the stars out & these lights were definitely not stars. These lights were not drones. I've seen drones and it was below zero. Who would be flying 9 drones in frigid weather anyway I thought. As I passed the lights, I noticed a red light just above the trees that began to travel upwards moving in a intelligent manner among the other amber orange lights. I kept driving until I got to a pullout at the Y junction. I got out of my van and looked at the direction I came from. Now I can only see 1 red light that is going vertically up into the night sky. I lost track of it and then got back inside my vehicle. I then called my family in Seward and described to them what I just seen. My sister was going to check Facebook to see if any one else put it online. I counted 5 other vehicles coming and going during this period. Another black pickup was parked above me and what appeared to be viewing this also. I continued North towards Anchorage and I haven't heard of any one else making a report of the lights that night. Duration: 45 min-1 hr Glanced out bedroom window and saw (what I assumed it was flickering overly bright star), moving slightly with a very close proximity of its original position. It continued to hover in the same location for 10 min or so. It then moved drastically to the right, then straight up. The object disappeared a couple times the reappeared. Movement was not of a airplane/ helicopter. After 35-40 minutes, it flew toward my direction at a lower altitude. I saw 3 lights at that point lined up in a row the white being the largest on far left side, middle light slightly smaller & less bright a light translucent baby blue, a light pinkish red light the same size as the blue one. Object flew over my house to the other side. It hovered over a field next to Hwy. 228. Then it came back to the original side and repeated the same movement.

Approx. 9:20 p.m. A couple were driving down State Route 5 when they noticed some abnormally bright lights in an area free of homes or structures. What first drew their attention was how bright the lights were, and being very familiar with the area they knew there was no explanation within the realm of normalcy to explain the sighting. One witness felt particularly ill immediately before and following the event. Another factor that perplexed them was that the apparent aircraft failed to produce any sound. The craft was larger than any commercial airliner. They immediately went home to research and look for similar stories as to what they had just encountered. Primary witness stated that the other person was previously a die hard skeptic. (MUFON CMS)

In an instant the light just disappeared. What we saw is very similar to report below in Claremore, Oklahoma, which is only a few miles away. I was able to catch the light on video. There was no sound or blinking lights. And no trail behind like a comet.

Dog was barking so I looked out to see 2 red flashing lights over tall pine trees, so my fiance and I went outside. We then witness a flashing red light only being followed by what appeared to be a jet. We watched until we could no longer see it. 30 seconds and another jet came over following the same path as the first 2, only this craft was very loud.
