This is the second day I have seen these 3 lights in the sky over Chicago....there are no stars to be seen anywhere in the sky and there are only a few aircraft in the sky I can see and verified with flightradar24 app. 2 of the lights are to the south of me looking over Willis tower and the other is much closer to my west almost directly over me...these 3 lights do not seem to be moving at all and are brighter than anything else in the sky. I was locking my gate as I do every night around the same time. As I'm locking I look into the sky only to see a light resembling a star slowly getting brighter as if it was descending. I felt this was clearly not an airplane or helicopter. I ran up my stairs into my apartment to retrieve my phone. I stepped out to the top of my steps, facing to the West, and began recording. As I adjust my aperture on my phone the object goes out of focus then back into focus. There is an airplane in the background heading South-SouthEast. As I proceed to record the object changes direction to the North and it ascends at an unprecedented speed into the stars. During the sighting I was motionless and amazed at the sighting. Almost in disbelief that what I was witnessing was truly happening. Upon reentering my apartment where my girlfriend was watching television. I remained speechless as I tried to gather the words to describe to her what I had seen. I had a euphoric sensati! on and I was extremely happy and excited. An absolutely remarkable experience.

In the country, 4 miles NW of Aledo, Texas; 5 miles West of the Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, I was inside walking towards my back glass sliding doors when a group of four very bright lights over my pasture caught my attention. The lights were so low and bright, my first thought was that a plane was coming down right towards my house. I was about to yell for my wife to run out the front in case there was a crash, then I realized that the lights were not moving at all. I heard no noise and would have heard an air craft this close. The lights were so bright that I could not discern the shape of the object. There were 3 lights in a row with the middle slightly lower and one offset and up to the right, as if there was a missing light between them. The object was approximately 200 ft. in the air, 1,500 ft. away, about the size of a half-dollar at arm's length, so it had to be in excess of 40' or more wide. I watched the object for 30+ seconds and ran to get my cell phone camera in the next room. I was gone less than 15 seconds but when I got back, it was gone (and, very oddly, my cell phone went down, then came back on while I was wondering what happened to it). I immediately went outside and searched the sky in all directions, no plane, helicopters or anything else was airborne. It is impossible for any typical aircraft to not be still visible in that time. We are in the flight path of Joint Reserve Base air craft and Care Flight Helicopters from Weatherford to Fort Worth daily. This object did not resemble any of those. It is now 2am and I still haven't been able to sleep. This event was so unexpected all I could think to say was Jeez-Louise! My wife and I were walking through the parking lot of the Pepin Center in Tampa, Florida, when I pointed out to her two lights in the north-northeast sky at approximately 20 degrees from the horizon. They were about the size and intensity of brightness as Sirius. They were a thumb's distance apart and stationary. I pointed out to my wife that I didn't know of any constellation with stars that bright in the north sky in the Tampa area at this or any other time of the year. After about a minute, the two stationary lights dimmed and then disappeared. Thoroughly perplexed as to what these were - - they were not satellites, meteorites, rockets/missiles,or aircraft landing lights. Their altitude and actual size was impossible to determine. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Good evening Mr. Davenport: It's an honor to hear from you! I am very familiar with the landing lights of all manner of aircraft. I am both an aviation and astronomy buff and am well acquainted with both spheres of study. Within moments after this sighting, I did see a commercial airliner (by engine sound and configuration of landing and navigation lights, likely an Airbus A-319 or A-320 series or a Boeing 737) at about 5,000' AGL commencing a downwind (heading south for a north landing on Runway 35R) approach to Tampa International Airport(KTPA). That aircraft was due west when I spotted it - - I did wonder if anyone in it on its port side might have seen these two lights, but I suspect the lights were possibly too high and too far north to be seen in the field of vision of those in the cabin - - I would love to know if someone did and was thinking that then!). The color of these lights was not typical of the landing lights of any aircraft that I have seen - - they were the same color, hue and intensity of self illuminated stars or reflective sunlight on satellites. Although aircraft landing lights can and will often appear stationary, based on distance from, and the heading of, aircraft, such light inevitably moves or grows in intensity as it heads toward you. Landing lights are seen either coming toward you or from the side, but would not be seen heading heading away from you. My initial thought after knowing that these lights were not a normal part of the night sky for this part of the year was that they were satellites - - the major problem being that both of them did not move for several minutes but remained stationary. Their fade out took about 5 seconds and was gradual and simultaneous - - both my wife and I were flummoxed by what we saw. If you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail or call me at ((END ADDENDUM))

2 flashing lights seen directly over Lake Ontario about 500ft from shoreline. Started with one bright flashing orange light, too low to be a plane and was completely silent and too high to be a boat. Caught 5 min of footage halfway through another light appeared next to the first one for a bit, then shut off like a light switch. The lights came on/off for over 30min in different formations. I live directly on Lake Ontario and have seen these lights before! A craft foreign to the waters that’s all I know for certain!!!

My boyfriend was driving separately and saw the exact same thing a few cars back. It was not a drone. We were driving on I-265 South... It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. The way it moved was so strange. And the blinking did not resemble that of a plane. There were no clouds and it didn’t disappear into any trees.

On March 20, 2018, at 10:15pm, in Wellington, Florida, I was walking my dog in the neighborhood. As I looked up at the star filled sky toward the east, I noticed a red light sitting in one place almost straight up (1:00 o’clock setting). I watched the object for 10 minutes with no movement what so ever as planes flew high overhead and low overhead not far from Palm Beach International airport. This object was miles high and pulsing a red light every other second. Suddenly two red beams came out of the object east and west some hundred yards from the object but they traveled equidistant from the centered object and stopped. Then the light pulsed blue and the object moved over to the east a bit further, hovered for another 3 or 4 minutes and then just disappeared. No weather balloon does that type of movement nor does it send out a microburst of light side to side that stops. A helicopter cannot go that high, ever! There was no sound.

It was raining and my husband and I ran outside into the backyard to observe more closely. They continued to dance around the sky always coming back into some kind of formation traveling west until they disappeared. All the dogs in the neighborhood were barking. I can’t imagibe we were the only people in the area to witness this!

I stepped out of my casita to check weather and look at the stars about 2300 hours. (I did this most nights when wintering in Arizona.) Weather was clear; no clouds. I was looking west/northwest and at an angle of about 50 degrees watched a small, bright white light blink on and off very quickly followed in one second or so by a much brighter light which lasted only a second. When the second flash of light ended, I noticed a very dim group of white lights in a triangular pattern move from right to left where the light was just a second ago. The individual lights were very small, perhaps as small (or smaller) than a small star, and the entire triangular pattern would have been entirely covered by the the fingernail on my pinky finger held at arm's length, so if that light pattern indicated a vehicle, that vehicle was at a great altitude which I'm estimating at 30,000 feet. About two weeks before this event, I witnessed only one bright light blink on and then off in about 1 second and at an angle of about 35-40 degree while I was looking directly south. There was only that one light during that event, and I noticed no triangular pattern of lights after the flash. I noticed no sound during either event. I checked to see if a rocket had been launched in California at the time of the event mentioned first above, but I don't believe a rocket was launched at that time. I am a retired industrial sales manager who winters in Arizona for a couple of months each year. I have good eyesight. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Olathe, KS
Around 9pm as I was driving between Gardner and Olathe, I spotted a large bright object moving in very strange patterns a mile or so away from me in the sky. At first I figured it was a drone or plane from the nearby airport, but I decided to drive around and follow it for a while. It began flying closer then further away from me, in a very unnatural patters, almost like a figure-8 from side to side. It also seemed to change from a bright white/blue, to green, to red, to blue. It remained on the country roads between Gardner and Olathe. I eventually drove into a dead-end country road, so I sat and watched the object begin to hover and drift away, disappearing in the distance. Possibly related—On the same roads I have experienced some strange encounters. I have been driving at dusk and “ran over” some sort of bright shimmer crossing the road. At first I mistook it for a raccoon or possum. But soon realized I drove “through” the shimmer rather than ran over something! I get some crazy goosebumps around that area. It makes me nervous sharing these , but hopefully someone has other occurrences between southwest Olathe and Gardner/the New Century Aircenter. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Looked up in the sky and saw a bright light through the clouds. It moved fairly quickly across about 1/6th of the sky. I had assumed it was only a satellite until it stopped. After about 15 seconds it changed directions at a sharp 90° angle went on for about 30 seconds to a minute and changed directions again, this time back towards the way it came for about another minute or 2. It stopped there and didn't move for awhile. I went inside for about 20 minutes and just went back out. It's gone now. Current time 22:30. Maybe somebody else saw this.

On 03/13/18 and 03/14/18, my wife and I saw a light to the SW/W direction. The light was unusually bright and changed colors: Red, White, Blue, Green, and purple. The object was semi-stationary, moving only slightly over time and not with stars or aircraft. It moved in abnormal directions such as up and down to its original position or diagonally and back to its original position. The lights were very prominent, aircraft moving in the general area moved quite differently and had obvious differences in appearance. Cross reference to star charts and visible planets showed no objects expected to be in the area.the object stayed put for about two hours then suddenly moved towards the direction of Orion's bottom right star and disappeared. This event happened two night in a row in the same manner. We noticed our dogs taking notice as well and acting differently from usual.

Hadn't seen anything personally while taking photos of snowfall outside of Infinito's (pizza buffet), but when I went back through my gallery this morning I saw that I had captured some peculiar lights amongst the falling snow. Appearing to travel from right to left, these neon lights didn't seem to match the color of any signage from the surrounding area, nor was it emanating from any nearby police vehicles (no cars were being used anywhere nearby for that matter). Finally, because the pictures had been taken from outside the restaurant (top of awning visible in first photo), there was no possibility of it being reflected from anything inside the restaurant. I'm a 20 year old college student who has taken a few digital photography courses, but I've never captured anything as unusual as this. It would be something beyond my capabilities as a photographer to stage the photos using an editing program because of the snow that covers the image. I've never taken drugs/used alcohol, but I was feeling a bit disoriented (I had accidentally taken the bus a stop past mine and had to backtrack a mile and a half to my destination). I'm looking to keep my identity anonymous, so I have nothing to gain from reporting the experience, and I myself am not a believer in these sorts of things, but having a first hand experience that I can't rationalize perplexes me. The only reason that I'm taking time to report the incident is that I feel it could be explained by someone more qualified, or else useful to the people that keep track of these strange occurrences.

Eureka, KS
I was on my way back from my barns, after helping my mother pull a calf out of a heifer. When I got home, I saw something bright and orange in the sky towards the Eureka area . (I lived 20 miles north of eureka, so I was looking south.) I thought the light was just a bright star at first but then it blinked of and re appeared in a different spot it kept doing this in re appearing in different spots. I call my wife and kids out the house to witness what I was seeing. I even called my father who saw the same thing from 1 mile to the west of us. The night sky was clear with no clouds and I could see multiple jets flying very high. Compared to the jets flying in a straight line this was much father away and the distances between where it would appear and re appear made no since. In seconds this light would move randomly up and down by distances of at least 30 miles. When the light would fade out I could still kind of make out a low glow that let me know something was still there and I would see tiny lights flying fast around it. My daughter caught the object on her amazon freefire tablet. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

La Quinta, CA
While driving in a gated community in La Quinta, CA, at approximately 8:10 pm, I saw a dark amber round light, almost orange, hovering at the height of an approximately 20 to 30 story building. I thought it might be a light at the top of a black tower that itself wasn’t visible in the partially cloudy black sky (and that I’d never noticed before). I slowed at the next intersection and rolled down my windows (and turned off radio) to listen for an aircraft sound. There was complete silence, not even the sound I’ve heard with drones. I could see it wasn’t attached to any tower or anything. I waited for the object to move like an aircraft. Initially, it remained motionless. There were no other lights. I thought I could make out one side of the outline of an angulated black body surrounding the light. But I couldn’t be sure. I turned the corner, pulled over and pulled out my phone to videotape the object, as it was starting to progress toward the west. I was able to get brief video of the light. Then it ascended up into the cloudy sky (not laterally) and disappeared. My viewing lasted approximately 90 to 120 seconds.

On Sunday March 11th, 2018, a fairly bright light hovering in the sky caught my attention. Upon further inspection, I can make out a disk shape in the sky basically parked in place. I'm always looking up hoping to see UFO's but I'm a semi-skeptical person. So I stare at if for a while. My little brother is fairly close to me, he follows my gaze and then rolls his eyes and says "Izzy relax, its probably just a plane." To which I respond, "No David, look. See behind that thing? Moving slowly with the light? THATS a plane" and I point at a plane clearly visible much much farther BEHIND the object, moving slowly, and clearly identifiable by its blinking red navigation light. This proved two things. The object was definitely parked in place, and it was not an ordinary aircraft because although the sun has set at 7:36, it was around 7:45 at the time and it was still bright out. NOT bright enough for a normal aircraft to have its "brights" on. The airplane cruising in the far distance only had a faint plane-shaped figure with no other lights on other than its red blinking navigation lights. We both agree that this is weird, and as he continues to go on with his business (he was washing our mothers vehicle at the time of the incident). I decide to take out my phone and take a video of it. At this moment two things begin to happen. My mother comes out of her adobe and I point at the UFO and tell her "mom look, it has NOT moved" and as I say those words I notice that there has been a change in the object. The previously bright shining constant light emitted from the bottom of the aircraft has turned into a single light circling around and around the base of the aircraft. After a few cycles, the light sequence changes yet again, but this time it does a sequential light signal pointing in the direction it is about to zoom to. After five sequences it zooms at an impossible speed silently. Video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IIMh0mU6eI

Issaquah/North Bend (between; I-90 E), WA
A friend and I were returning home to the North Bend area around 4:15am, on March 11th. We were traveling eastbound on I-90, enjoying the drive with almost no traffic going eastbound. We had just passed the exit for Preston, and headed down the grade and were traveling up the rather long uphill grade of I-90, traveling in the number 3 lane. I had the cruise control on 70mph, as I almost always do when there is little or no traffic. I am a former County and Federal law enforcement officer and always cognizant of other vehicles in my vicinity of travel. I check my rear view mirror very often for approaching traffic. There were no vehicles traveling eastbound from the time we passed through Issaquah and onto this stretch of I-90. Approximately half way up this rather long grade of I-90, and before exit #25, that exits onto I-18, I glanced in my rear view mirror and was shocked to see what appeared to be two rectangular headlights right on our tail. I assumed this was a motor vehicle, and there was no noise. I quickly glanced to my right side mirror to make sure no other vehicles were approaching, and was planning on making a quick lane change to get out of the way of this vehicle, then quickly glanced in the rear view mirror, and the lights were gone. This happened so quickly, that I did not change lanes, but we did immediately slow down so I could look behind us to see if a vehicle had swerved off of the freeway on either side. There were no taillights or headlights that I could see on either side of the highway behind us. My passenger and I talked about this, and what had just happened, and I was in bewilderment. I tried to reason things out as to what had just occurred. Something in my mind was telling me that something else besides just the 'headlights' was strange, but I could not put my finger on it. Roughly 3 or so minutes later, while still traveling, I got a pounding headache in the center of my head, and this continued well into the following day, even after taking several Aleve tablets. The next day, this incident continued playing through my head, and this is when I realized that the headlights were not only rectangular in shape, but they did NOT emit a forward shining beam, that headlights are designed to do. Both of these 'headlights' were just lights and did not actually shine into my rear view mirror, but were bright nonetheless, and the rectangular shape of both lights were defined in their shape. I have no explanation of what these lights were, and neither did my passenger. Two days later, I traveled this major highway into Bellevue, and on the way home to North Bend, I carefully checked out both sides of I-90 in the area of this incident to see if there was any indication of a vehicle going off the roadway, there was none. Just a little bit about my background, I was enlisted in the Air Force, and obtained my Commercial pilot license and instrument/seaplane ratings. I have over 3600 hours in fixed wing aircraft. Rather than pursuing a career in aviation as a young adult, I chose law enforcement, where I worked with the County, as well as a Federal law enforcement agency. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and found him to be both eloquent, and convincing. His credentials as a law enforcement officer, as well as an experienced commercial pilot, speak for themselves, we believe. PD
