Le 1er décembre 2012 à 17h un témoin observe dans le ciel parisien la présence d'un objet gris stationnaire. Le témoin décrit l'objet comme triangulaire mais également comme une toupie avec "un pic pointu au nez et une forme de croix au centre". Aucun bruit, aucune fumée ne sont remarqués. L'objet se déplace ensuite lentement comme porté par le vent toujours à la même altitude. Le témoin voit ensuite plusieurs phares rouges clignotants alignés au centre de l'appareil. Durant son observation il prend une photographie. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli. Compte tenu des éléments objectifs recueillis (voir le compte rendu d'enquête), à savoir : - Objet se déplaçant dans le sens du vent. - Forme et couleur compatible avec des modèles existants de ballons fantaisies. - Estimations de taille et de distance compatibles. Nous pouvons conclure que le PAN observé et photographié par le témoin peut être un modèle de ballon fantaisie en forme d’avion de chasse, se déplaçant dans le vent. Ce cas est à classer en « B » comme observation probable d’un ballon fantaisie équipé de LEDs. [GEIPAN classification B — Ballon]
