Facing SE from 2nd floor apt. Facing Studio City/Burbank. Glowing turquoise circular light. If I was holding up a dime it would have blocked it. Caught my eye out open front door. Guessing 10 stories high, as close as above the 2 story building across the street/night sky (3:15 am) facing Hollywood Hills backdrop/perception of height and distance might be off due to mountainous backdrop. Mimicked a "stationary" hummingbird's quick back and forth movement. Felt slightly nervous/excited, forced my eyes away take photo, eyes back on light instead, duration 3 more seconds/light quickly dissolved, no trail, smoke, color change, no noise, no movement. Don't believe I confused this sighting with the various antenna on the hills. I've lived in this unit 10 years; familiar with the lights on horizon. I am also a sky watcher. It started with me and my wife walking onto our back porch for a cig. right after it got dark. She actually had to point it out to me but when she did I noticed a bright orange/red ball of light fade into brightness, hold for a second to three seconds then dim out, only to reappear in the same spot and then suddenly split into two which faded out almost immediately. Normally we both try to throw off easy possible explanations, seeing as I have been into space and astronomy my whole life, but could not find any logical explanation other than maybe it was a missile from a military aircraft. After my wife walked inside to get out of the cold, no more than 5 minutes later I witnessed the same light. I did not call out to my wife because, as before, the light faded after the same appearance, but quickly after is disappeared it came back and went out a few times. Which is when I yelled for my wife to come out, even got a neighbor curious. She came to see the very end of this appearance which was the light flaring up again only this time it split into 2 evenly sized lights which immediately faded and did not return . As if that was not enough I was so amped up I told her I was going out front to get a better view and watch longer to try to see if I could spot patterns or anything. Once I got out front it took a good 20-30 minutes before my next strange sighting. This time it was a bunch of individual blinking lights. No pattern whatsoever to how they blinked which is usually what I look for to debunk it as a known aircraft, but as I watched I noticed the blinking lights, which were much smaller and whiter than the previous one, had started to make 180 degree immediate turns. As if they bounced off a wall and started going the opposite direction with no certain heading. For example on would go straight, immediately turn around , then suddenly head straight up or down. It was not just one it was all of them. It literally looked as if lights were popping all around all at once , and then as if related, the bright ball of orange/red light appeared just off to the left center of the group ! or blinking starts. only this time it flared and died out and did not return at all. Soon after the blinking lights disappeared. They did not leave, let me be clear of that. They disappeared. Meaning I was watching them all blinking, and one by one , sometimes two at a time, would just vanish, and stop blinking. I tried to think maybe cloud cover was causing the sudden loss of the lights but I pinpointed background stars in the same general area to which the lights were and could still see the stars. Finally after my mother arrived she was getting groceries out of her truck and I was still outside maybe 10 minutes after my last sighting. I suddenly yelled at her to look, because she is a big anti ufo person, and as she did she pointed out that it had went out and moved to the right. I heard her then get into her truck to get more stuff while I was still staring and the light was still there it amazingly suddenly had another exactly same light appear next to it and unbelievably came together into one and vanish just like the first sighting but backwards. After which I did not see that light anymore. No more than 30 min later I witnessed several more small blinking lights behaving really strange, like disappearing and reappearing going the opposite way, or suddenly appearing and then as if it was never there it is gone. I know how silly this sounds but I have been a firm believer of science and facts my whole life. For 20 years of my life I have lived at this house and looked up at the same sky countless nights without seeing something even relatively as strange. I know how aircraft lights behave and satellites. They have patterns. The closest pattern any of these lights had was only once when me and my wife saw the cluster of lights blink shortly almost in sync. I really would like to know if maybe it was just some strange military testing or flying that was going on, or possibly military flares, but the way it happened, I can't, for the life of me, begin to understand what I saw. Please help

Object was seen going west to east, bright light did not change size, as a meteor would get smaller etc. Appeared under clouds, which I would guess to be 10,000 ft are there about. Very bright white, and round.

While looking out my bathroom window at Orion, a reddish/Amber light dropped straight into the atmosphere slightly to the right of the constellations view, to just above my view of the local tree line. From there it rapidly changed direction (south-east) and disappeared. Beside the color, and lack of sound, I found its trajectory odd, as it didn't move like any plane or chopper I'd ever seen. There was no arc to its travel, like a meteor would have. It dropped in perpendicular to the horizon.

We stepped outside to talk and looked up in the sky and seen a very bright round light we thought it was a star till we seen blueish flashes come from it and it didn't move till a plane flew by then it moved upwards fast its now 9:25pm Jan.4.2016 and still in sky.

Several 11+/- orange circular shapes seen. First noticed a group of 4. In a large triangle formation, followed by several others all in the same flight path. No flashing lights solid slow moving. Some seemed to disappear while others kept moving until no longer in sight range. All moving in uniform speed and on straight path no moving up or down. No sound

We looked at it through binoculars. It had four lights side by side and there were beams of light coming off of it. It didn't move, it was fixed, so it changed position in the sky as time went on.

At around 8:30 pm, I went out and turned off the yard light. I noticed a light that blinked different colors. Red blue white. It kind of jumped around in the sky. I went in the house getting my roommate who came outside with me. She grabbed the binoculars. Looking through the binoculars we could see the colors better. Sirius? PD

Seen the sun shine off of it, walked outside was no sound an wasn't flying in a regular fly zone. I see planes an helicopters fly over all the time they travel the same path in the sky, an you can hear them, an see the shape of them, this object was shaped like a oval flying disc an had no sound was flying at a set speed, and in a area and direction, I've never seen a plane travel in the sky, silver in color sun was shining off of it. I have pics and a video. Possibly an a/c reflecting sunlight?? We have requested that the witness forward the pictures and video to our Center. PD

We were standing on the porch watching fireworks. After it was over, me and my husband saw an orange circle like a ball. It went out to the ocean. I video taped it for about 30 seconds. We didn't see it again.

All three of these objects were heading southwest. When out of no where three more appear from the west and were heading fast towards the others and they seemed to have meet up because they went in to groups of two. Then two just disappeared out of thin air just gone I thought it was crazy but until this happened two more showed up behind the groups. They traveled in a single line they came out of no where and were flashing red and white. One of the two trailing behind disappeared right in front of our eyes while the other one kept going flashing a bright red and white. These "aircrafts" were going fast, due to the tree line is several hundreds of feet and they cleared that in a matter of seconds. And to add on I live close by to a testing ground for the armed forces. UFO I think so.

Right after going outside in my back year to watch fireworks with my wife, we both noticed what appeared to be a military style formation of initially 6 separate craft. All craft were in an almost straight line and evenly spaced, except for the first craft, which was about 3 times further ahead then the rest of the craft were spaced. More craft appeared when the lead craft went out of sight. There was no noise present and the craft appeared to be at about 30,000 feet and flying north east from the south west. From my vantage point, they were straight up from a hill, directly to the south of my home. Every craft flew the exact same pattern and were extremely slow. The last craft took 8 minutes to traverse the same path the previous traveled in less time. All craft disappeared at the exact same location. There was a low cloud bank but was only partially covering the skies. The path the craft were flying through was not clouded and had very good visibility.

I was outside watching fireworks, when above the mountains a yellow round dot appeared. Then 3 more just appeared and it looked almost like a square. My mom also came out to see and by then it was only one object. But when we looked behind us, there was another single ball of yellow. My sister and a friend said they also saw the yellow ball. They thought maybe it was a Chinese lantern but it did not rise into the air and float around. And they were in a formation when all 4 appeared. It was just there. No floating up, just appearing. Then they were gone.

On the evening of December 31, 2015, and into the morning of January 1, 2016, at Fairbanks, Alaska, I witnessed the following: While driving my vehicle south on the Parks Highway, near the vicinity of the University of Alaska farm fields [Geist Rd and Parks Highway off ramps] I noted five objects rising from the left [west], at near-ground level and move across the highway at an altitude of 300-400 feet. They appeared under independent control and seemed to be making a 5-sided 'sign' in their arrangement. I initially assumed they were fireworks on parachutes. The time was just before midnight and fireworks were evident in this built-up area that includes residential and light commercial development. The area of activity is between the Fairbanks International Airport and the University of Alaska. The objects were both stationary at one moment and then in motion as a unit. I stopped the vehicle, exited to the roadway for a better look. There was no sound. The objects appeared to be circular, 15 to 30 inches in diameter. There were no other discernible details of surfaces. Each appeared to be emanating a red/yellow glow or pulse that remained constant. The 'fire' color conformed closely with the area where it was coming from. The light appeared to make a small protruding tail to the steady pulse/glow. It was brighter at the center. Over a period of 20 minutes, I continued to observe the phenomenon. The objects did not dip, as a helicopter does when it moves forward. Once climbing, they did not move to a lower level. The original 5 units slowly climbed into the sky, spread out, moved to the east [toward U. S. Army Fort Wainwright]. The lights appeared to blink out and the craft vanished in the darkness. After stopping, I had doubled back on the highway, and stopped again, where I noticed three new craft, similar to the first five. They were flying over the roadway in the same fashion to the others. When near to the ground they were tightly grouped and as they climbed they spread out. They, too, headed east, climbed higher and disappeared. I am aware that the University of Alaska has a DOD contract for development and testing of advanced drones. During daylight hours I have observed a drone flight a few miles from this vicinity. Further, as mentioned, DOD maintains a large post within 6 miles of the sighting location. Additionally, DOD maintains Eielson AFB, 30 miles south-east of this location.

My husband and I were driving home and my husband looked up and said, "What is that" I looked up and we pulled over so we could watch. There appeared to be a orange round shape moving very fast east then stopped and then began going west it was way to fast to be an air plane or helicopter. It then stopped and went straight up into the sky and disappeared. We just sat there watching this strange light. I looked online to see if anyone had seen this but at this point I haven't had any luck. New Years eve night on Rainbow and Unser in Albuquerque. Was amazing. Saw the first one slowly moving across the sky and the disappeared into the low cloud coverage and the three more appeared in a line formation slowly moving and then eventually disappeared like the first one. They were red in color not changing just slowly moving. We have low cloud coverage this night and I believe that's why they just seem to disappear. On New Years Eve at approximately 5:30 pm in San Ysidro, CA, near the Mexican border. I was outside facing the Eastern sky. I noticed something with red lights ascending into the sky. At first I believed it may be an airplane, given that there is a nearby airport. However, I soon realize that the airport is located in a different area than where this was ascending from. I watch as the object moves closer west. At some point the object stops and hovers over a residential area approximately ten or fifteen blocks away from me more or less. At this point from what I could tell I was looking at a circular disk type object because what at first seemed to look like a red light began to spin and show red and white lights all around ,2 red and two white. The object made moderate moves from left to right twice while spining and began hovering kind of like when you spin a coin on a table and it starts to slow down. it continued side to side slowly then i tried to record ! it but my phone cam coincidentally didnt allow me , I got an inssuffient storage alert . i called family to tell them to go outside and look but as soon as i began telling them the ufo began to descend and disappeared into the horizon, almost as if it landed or got lower to the ground. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite sincere and sober-minded. PD

second one burned out at same location first one zipped off about 4 minutes later. third one started to burn out at same location as first two but zipped off straight up.all were in staggered formation with first one ahead as if there should have been one between first and last two. all were bright red and round. begining to end was about seven minutes.

Midnight 2016 saw from my rear window, bright yellow circle, coming towards my house, my husband and I went out front door and watched as it went south rather quickly. Went back inside and again saw 3 more bright yellow circles, coming towards the house, back outside and watched as they also went south, not as high as a plane, no flashing lights, exactly 12 midnight 2016...looked on twitter, facebook, no one else reported.
