This was a mass sighting in downtown Chicago of all places. It went viral on Facebook almost immediately. Some crafts were seen flying close to the ground in downtown Chicago. Pictures were taken and possibly video as well. What makes this especially unique is that parts of Chicago were cordoned off with roadblocks/traffic diversions. The police, FBI, and military were there coordinating efforts as these objects were chased by planes and helicopters around the sky. The areas initially involved also became permeated with men in black suits who were seen talking to the feds and were walking around everywhere. Then the police decided to tell everyone that it was just lightening which nobody could possibly believe. Thousands of people on Facebook took to massive threads. Some of the pictures posted disappeared from FB but some were saved by others (Some of which are friends of mine) before hand. I don't know if this was on local news but it should have been. The local police/feds/military response was unprecedented. This is not a hoax. I believe the objects were orb-like. The pics I saw were of three lights in a triangular shape, though I could not determine if they were a result of one craft or three. I would have to go back and sift through a massive amount of posts to get more details on the craft(s) and will do so if contacted. Please only release my first name. This is a second-hand report from a person who learned of the alleged event from friends in Chicago. We have corrected the date and time above, and have requested that the second-hand source contact his friends in Chicago, who were actual eye-witnesses, to have them submit reports of what they witnessed. On September 17, 2015, my friend and I were sitting on the deck in front of our beach-house in Lavalette, NJ. At approximately 8:00 pm EST, (though may have been a little later) and looking to the right out over the ocean, not so far but not near the beach either, we saw six bright orange orbs which appeared attached. We stared at the object, which remained in place, wondering out loud what it could be, until it disappeared within ten seconds. It disappeared as quickly as it arrived.

My son 9 years, old, came running into the house in a huge panic scared that he witnessed a large glowing orb being chased by two military jets. He said the jets were on either side of the orb chasing at high speed. About the time he saw them I was sitting in my neighbors' house and loud jet like sounds stopped our conversation and we commented how loud that was and never heard a ghetto bird (helicopter) that loud. We are in the flight path of john Wayne flight path so he knows what airplanes and helicopters are. He said the jets were black/dark in color. He has NEVER made anything like this up and he was truly scared and out of breath.

Hovering just above the tree line north of the cul-de-sac at the top of my street as I drove up and prepared to turn into my driveway. About 8 round lights in a loose formation. At first glance looked like the handle of the big dipper but then noticed they were too large and close to be stars, large like hot air balloons when just a few hundred feet off the ground but all balls of light, nothing attached, no movement or sound so not normal air craft. They looked to be about a football field's distance or a little more away from my street. One was lower and to the right and seemed to be moving slowly towards my direction. I went and got my husband and sister. We had to get back down the driveway to see beyond the trees up to where they were still there only some had moved to the north and appeared a bit smaller but all still too large to be normal and most not moving at all. Now, 2 were lower on the right just above the tree tops and glowing more yellowish as twilight was deepening towards dark. One still seemed to be moving very slowy towards us and seemed to be with the he one furthest on the right which was lower in the sky. That one then glowed red at the center and then the light went out completely and we could see what appeared to be a tall rectangular shape slowly drifting down toward the ground. It looked like some kind of item large enough to be a craft of some sort. Then the other lights slowly moved off to the north. No sound at all. They looked to be over some open acreage to the east of Rte. 29. We'd never seen anything like that before. After that we heard what sounded like a small engine plane come to that area and circle around, but it was dark by then so we couldn't see it, only hear it...almost as if it came to investigate. DOTS DID NOT MOVE FROM LOCATION. DOTS ALMOST LOOKED LIKE STARS IF LOOKING AT THEM DURING THE NIGHT. AIR CRAFT DID ENTER THE AIR SPACE AND DOTS DISAPPEARED. AND REAPERD AFTER PLANE PAST BY.

I saw three spherical objects appearing as the size of a dime from my perspective. I used my binoculars to confirm the spheres were not an optical illusion. One north at about a 60 degree angle and two north northeast, one at about a 55 degree angle, a third below it at about a 40 degree angle. They seemed stationery (hovering?) I noticed 6 spokes. They looked like wheels with sparkling white lights on the wheels and spokes evenly spaced. The spokes seemed to protrude beyond the wheel. I think I saw flashes of blue from time to time. Two major air force bases in the community make the possibility they are drones a distinct possibility. I did not bother to look long as they were not moving. I am an 82 year old bird watcher and not prone to hysteria. I hold a masters degree in the humanities (theatre and philosophy). 1 (assumed) spherical object which was white in color was seen hovering stationary at approximately 2000 ft in Roseville, California, on 9/15/2015 at 10am. The object was seen facing west and maintained its position for 30 minutes before moving directly overhead, where it remained for another 15 minutes. See pictures.

As I walked out of my house, I initially heard a strange mechanical type of sound which lasted approximately 2 seconds. I then noticed some lights in the sky moving in a set pattern. Three large balls of light - looked like large spotlights - moving in various patterns in the southeastern sky. Not sure when it actually started, but I spotted it at approximately 1:15 AM. Light pattern was in independent eclipses - like an atom circling a nucleus. Then the pattern changed to larger circles repelling each other. Then the pattern changed to two lights in a figure eight pattern. We tried to photograph it, but the cell phone didn't pick up anything. Finally went inside after about an hour but the lights patterns were still occurring.

Now it's 9/14/2015 around 8:45 PM. I look in the sky and notice there is a lot more in the far distance. I know this sounds crazy but these blinking lights sit in formation as if they were stars. I seen these lights doing some very strange things to our moon in sept 2014. I've gotten video of some strange orb like thing on the moon earlier this year. The videos can be found on YouTube under strange orb around the moon. I recorded about 5 videos on different nights. Look in the sky and pay attention to how many blinking lights you see. I don't know if you can see them everywhere but in North Alabama you can see some of them by 6:00 PM, and they don't disappear till around 7:30 am till 8:00 am. My dad and I camped out in our backyard to star watch. We saw 2 lights. He says they were going North, and I say East. We both agree they were two lights, at arms length about a tennis ball apart. They were bright at first, then faded a bit simultaniously. They seemed to move like they were in orbit. My dad wishes me to include that if it was just one, perhaps it was a satalite, but because the consistent moving bodies dimmed (but not disapeared) at the exact same rate, that it seems it is something unique. The objects were traveling on the same path, not side by side.

About 2000 last night, my sister and I had just finished working and she called me outside to look at some strange lights in the sky to the west. Over head we could see a group of little white lights blinking off and on. To the left of the group was a larger orb that was glowing with blue light. The group of lights started to move toward the north and the number of white light grew from approximately 20 to a couple hundred. The group of white blinking lights appeared to follow the larger blue orb. The encounter lasted about five minutes and the lights could be seen off in the distance.

7-10 objects flying together in sky. Orange lighted orbs moving south, in the same direction and speed, then disappeared. It is a clear night. Our kids came downstairs to show us so they saw it longer. We tried to capture it on our phones, but the lights don't pick up.

At approximately 7:05 PM ET on Sept. 11, 2015, in north-central West Virginia (near Philippi, WV), while relaxing on my back deck and watching aircraft fly over my area from a lying position with a pair of 8x42 binoculars, I observed a total of six (6) round or spherical objects near the zenith, moving in a Northeast direction. I first observed two (2) objects and after slowly scanning the area nearby I saw four (4) additional objects. I observed all six (6) for approximately 5 minutes before my view was obscured by the roof of my house. The six objects moved together in a fairly uniform configuration that changed only slightly during this period. When I lost my view, I moved quickly to find them again, but was unsuccessful in locating them a second time. They appeared white to silver-white in color, and were all the same size in diameter. These objects were only visible through the binoculars and not visible via the naked eye. Having no frame of reference, I was unable to judge or estimate their size or the distance to their location. It is possible they were balloons of some type but they would probably had to have been some type of cord connecting them together for them to move so uniformly. I do believe, based on what I saw, that had I been able to observe them for a longer period, that they would have continued their uniform pattern movement. I was alone at that time so no one else saw them. The sky was very clear, air temperature around 73 degrees F with moderate humidity around 70%. FYI, this is my first UFO sighting of something I could not easily explain or identify.

I was driving on 93 north at approximately 7:30 pm I looked up and over the the massive granite boulders I saw 2 white circles of light I th our it was a plane at first then the circles of light got closer and I could tell they were just round orbs moving through the sky then they just combined and in a split second they disappeared.

Le 11 septembre 2015 vers 3h du matin deux personnes dans leur voiture sont intriguées par un phénomène lumineux blanc dans le ciel. Les témoins s'arrêtent et l'objet change de direction en émettant un vrombissement. Le témoin prend trois photos. Un seul témoignage sera recueilli. Le cas comporte des éléments d'étrangeté. La boule lumineuse stable dans le ciel finit par se mouvoir et partir avec un vrombissement. Il n'y pas d'enregistrement radar. Une hypothèse pourrait être un hélicoptère en manœuvre (non vu par le radar du fait la faible altitude), même si cela reste étonnant à 3 H heures du matin en rase campagne et sans connaissance de la gendarmerie locale. Par ailleurs le cas comporte des éléments d’inconsistance dans le témoignage, le premier étant que le témoin n'a pas donné suite aux demandes réitérées de rendez-vous pour une enquête sur place. Auparavant, il n'avait pas non plus répondu aux demandes de précisions sur les positions du PAN dans le ciel, ni sur la demande de témoignage du conjoint du témoin présent aussi dans le véhicule. Une enquête sur place aurait permis de compléter le témoignage et peut être de solutionner les éléments d'étrangeté. En conséquence, le GEIPAN classe en C : pas de réponse du témoin. My wife told me there was something odd going on in the sky over the parking lot for our townhouses. I came to the window just as three pinkish red orbs rose over the tree tops in the S/SW. They at first reminded me of helicopters, but I immediately noticed there was no sound what so ever as they moved. They were spread out in a line, which smoothly reformed into a triangle as they continued to move. Then they stopped for a moment and made a 90-degree turn and proceeded in the new direction. They traveled for about a minute, stopped and broke the triangle, and reformed into what reminded me of the configuration of stars in Orion's belt. As they hovered the object on the right of the formation dwindled in size and brightness till it disappeared. The other two followed suit within about two minutes. I had the distinct impression that the diminishment was due to the objects moving away from us, much like a ship on the horizon.

Around 0300 my best friend and I were having a beer on my tailgate on Lake Ontario. I witnessed a blinking ball with a v shaped tail at end. We thought it was a drone but given the time and size were amazed. There was no sound and when it went behind an apartment building it appeared to be at least three stories tall. It flew in a direct line at an extremely slow pace with no sound at all. Out of fear we hid behind the truck and after that it disappeared behind the city skyline. No one believes us because we have no video proof.

Out in my backyard, a round oval shaped object flew right by me and just disappeared right into the air. White glowing light. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi Mr. Davenport, The size of the orb object was a tennis ball. I was totally shocked to see this but have read the stories on the website that these things were around. I am setting up a video camera to see if we can catch it if it ever comes back again. It was a glowing white orb object that floated across the yard to back of neighbors house and it just vanished. That is all the facts, just been reading the website of what people has seen around us here. No one else saw it but I called neighbor to go out and he didn't see it at all. I will be out every night looking for this now. We did see another object back in march before I had found your website. I can draw a picture of that object because I will never forget it. It was black coming across the sky, triangle shaped, 2 red circles at each end of triangle shape, with white lines connecting the red circles. No noise was coming from the object, but you could see where it was lit up inside. It went south toward asheville, nc down interstate 26 and when it reached the point at kingsport tn, it just turned left and went towards virginia. It did not turn like a plane does in flight, it just turned. I go out every night to look for this object and then I saw the orb going across my yard. Thanks, ((name deleted)) ((END ADDENDUM))

My parents and I went for a walk and we noticed a bright light in the sky, heading North. It was heading across the sky and at one point one of the lights fell. This happened once more where it looked like a light fell from this object in the sky. At one point it seemed to have stopped moving, but eventually it turned all of its lights off and looked like a black sphere that was hard to see in the night sky, but still visible. I had just parked my car, when i noticed a white orb moving slowly, but remained in the same place. I started to record it and take pictures, but the camera has poor quality images. There was no sound coming from that object. A man who was running away from the police passed by and also noticed the light but he was so paranoid that he thought it was the police looking for him. (I say this because he comes out in one of the videos and the sound is of a helicopter flying nearby).

Sitting around with my girlfriend’s family around 1040 in the night on Massapoag Pond. We were facing north, when we noticed an orange red ball/orb that was very bright. We first thought it might be a plane on fire but it had no tail or trail of smoke. It was completely silent and moved about ten feet from the tree tops. Moving in a west to east path. it appeared to be moving in a straight line, then hooked to the right towards an out cropping of land on the lake. It look like it landed in the woods or disappeared. We were all trying to comprehend what we saw. About 10 minutes after we sat back down and I noticed another orange orb now coming from behind us above the tree line. This time higher then the previous one. I am guessing it was higher as it was a little smaller. Same silent travel, moving a steady pace, and moving towards the location of the previous orb. Once it was near that location it disappeared. The light did not fade it just went black. I was first thinking it was a parachute flare but it didn’t have the appearance of a burning flare. One person thought it was a piece of space debris and another a comet. My response was there wasn’t a tail or trail following these orbs. I’m not sure what we saw last night and I haven’t been able to find any others that have seen them. I was able to get a picture of the second orb. It just looks like a dot on the screen.
