My wife daughter and I decided to get out of the valley smog and go for a late afternoon hike. We took I-80 east to East Canyon, where the road is closed at the gate and you hike on packed snow. On our way back we were looking at the moon, and various vapor trail patterns, when my daughter said what star is that? At first I thought it was a planet because of its round shape. At closer examination, we could see that it was a silver orb that was hovering at about 15,000 feet. It stayed at in a stationary spot for about 10 minutes, and then disappeared.

I saw a large round shape which was glowing front and back the circle looked about the shape of a large moon removed from the western sky to above me and lost the glow as it moved away from me I could see a light in the front of it.

At around 5:15 am in the morning on February 10th, I took my puppy outside so she could go to the bathroom. As I stood on my lawn, I looked up at the sky. It was still dark and the stars were out. It was a nice, quiet morning. I glanced up at the northeast sky and was startled to see two white orbs about 20 degrees above the horizon. My immediate reaction was “what in the heck are those things?” They looked about half a mile away. They were stacked vertically (one above the other). The objects had a fuzzy quality. It was like viewing something through fog. Even though the sky was clear. They were moving silently in my direction at about the speed of a sailboat. At a distance it looked like two objects, however as it approached it appeared to be a single object. It was difficult to see the whole thing, as if it was partly invisible. It was either dark colored and therefore blended in with the black sky or it was transparent in parts. It was odd, like looking at a jellyfish-- parts of it seemed transparent and parts of it appeared solid. As it glided overhead I got a good look at the underside of it. The center was the most distinctive and clear thing that I could see. The outer edges were barely visible and dark. The center was a bright white light that was triangular in shape. There was another circular white light in the center of the triangle. The lights were steady, not blinking or flashing. I drew a picture of what it looked like (attached). The sides of the triangle in the center were not exactly three straight lines as pictured (I’m not that handy with drawing tools). It had three corners, but the sides of the triangle were bowed-in by the arcs of the circular things surrounding it. As you can see in my drawing, there were several faint circles that seemed to make up the perimeter of the craft. The dot in the center of the triangle was also white but distinctive from the white triangle. I believe it was a little darker. As it moved overhead, I pulled out my cell phone and tried to record some video. However when I checked the video later, it was too dark and nothing came out in the recording. The object was pretty big, about the size of a large dinner plate held at arm’s length. It made no sound at all. It was difficult to judge its altitude. I would guess less than 500 feet. The object continued on its straight path, heading southwest (bearing about 210 degrees). I lost sight of it behind the trees on my property. The entire event lasted about 30 seconds. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen something strange like this in the sky. The first was on 9/9/2015 from the same location (which I reported to your web site). However, in that case the objects were red, white, blue, and orange. I have no idea what this thing was. It was too large and quiet to be a drone, and it wasn’t an airplane.

It got so much my attention that I tried to take a photo but as it was on motion it didn't come out right. The remarkable orange sphere moved in a single direction until it continued its flight until I lost sight. It was the first time I have seen that. I live in an area with clear sky and 2 weeks ago saw a shooting star.

Blue-green sphere appears over the ocean, hovers for a few seconds, before shooting off, and vanished. I was driving on my way to work, heading west along Deltaport way, when I noticed a green-blue sphere-like shape over the ocean. The object started off small, like the tip of a pencil, then as it got closer, was the size of a penny of a street light in the distance then stopped. After pausing for a few seconds and illuminating blueish green lights, it shot in a northern direction, leaving a small streak behind, then vanished.

I was heading west on route 22. I first noticed the two orange spheres (one above the other) on the far west side of the airport when I was driving past the exit before airport rd. airport road on the north side of 22 is where the airport (west side)Lehigh - Northampton Airport Authority / 3311 Airport Road/Allentown, PA, 18109 /1-800-FLY-LVIA and the state trooper barracks m (east side) is located. Trooper Address: 2930 Airport Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017 Trooper Phone:(610) 861-2026. At a distance, when I first noticed them, they didn't catch my attention as anything out of the ordinary. I used to live in an apartment complex behind me a ways and I saw air traffic all the time. But as I got closer I realized these two things had no body to them, also as a side note there was zero air traffic going on before, during, or after the event. The best I could see them because of trees getting in the way, they were encircling the airport complex from the west side over the south side and hangar area to where I was on the southeast side right above the corner of the complex near the clover leaf ramps. This is the only part I'm going to go out on a limb with because at the moment I pulled off on the side of the road on the exiting ramp, the two objects which had been moving quickly had now nearly stopped. the bottom object just before this.. sorry I should mention they had been in a uniform position together up to this point one above the other.. the bottom object had broken away from the top one and was moving about just a little bit, going out and coming back into this formation. As they had slowed way down to almost now hovering a good football field height above the ground and almost the same distance away from me at about a 2'o clock from my windshield, out of the corner of my eye to the north, right side of me through my passenger window, the state barracks m helicopter was lighting up and taking off of the pad. I "think" these two objects with their slow down were responding to helicopter churning up and leaving the ground. Of course, maybe. This is when I quickly unbuckled, shifted to the passenger seat, had my hand on the iPhone which was all wired up to the truck to listen to music. By the time I had sat down and was looking out of the window these two objects had broke formation and were next to each other by perhaps 3 times the distance from one another as they were in the original formation. They were now on the north side of the field well past race street. That's a distance of about a mile roughly in the 3 seconds it took me to switch seats and regain visual on them. They then disappeared into the cloud bank. At the same time the helicopter was just banking in their direction and heading in that direction. After the banking, the helicopter shut off all lights including any flashers. They had no flashers even when they "went after" these things into the low cloud bank. I watched for a little while longer but I'm on a time crunch with my delivery and had to go. So two things before I finish.. One, the orange spheres were beautiful. the orange was like looking into a ball of sodium light.. but also, not like looking into a street sodium light.. The color was the same, except it had that alive/electric look to it that perhaps looking into the center of a lit sparkler would have. They also had a red plasma/lightning rippling effect over the balls.. That's why it was twinkling when I saw them at distances. There were other people that were not only pulled over like the two cars at the top shoulder of the ramp.. but the right lane of airport rd. heading north before the airport/barracks light had completely stopped under them. I don't know why else these people would be stopped in either places. Like all of my experiences with this phenomenon, another one for the books. Thank you Mr. Davenport for all you do.. remember, there are a lot of us out there that depend on you for what you do. I believe this is one of the most important issues in our society. It's a huge shame so little of us are paying attention to it. I promise to report everything I see from now on. This job in the middle of the night gives me a huge chance to catch these things. I should really invest in a fish eye go pro!!

At 8:00pm, my husband and I were sitting outside in our back yard. I was looking up in the sky admiring the stars facing northeast when a orange orb came over our neighborhood from west to east. It had a steady slow speed without making a sound. At first I thought it was a fireball since it was very bright in color. As we watched it pass over us and toward the mountains, it held its course of direction and speed. After about 3-4 minutes, another orange orb came over the same flight path, with the same speed. It was heading in the same direction as the first one. It too, flew over the mountains and we lost sight of it. This is not our first viewing of the orange orbs in our area, however it is the first time they were this close to our neighborhood.

I just had my very first, truly authentic UFO sighting today at 5:52 am. I awoke for no particular reason this morning and was staring out the large bay window that dominates my bedroom and faces the Southwest. Had been starring out this window for a few minutes, wondering why I had to wake up so early on my day off, when two relatively bright, white lights steadily appeared in the upper portion of the window. There is a thick transom board that forms the upper sill for the bay windows below and is the base for the triangular window that is the top of the bay window group. The lights appeared from behind this board, up into the large, clear portion of the triangular window, slowly moving upward and to the right for a short period. At first, I thought it must be a pair of light aircraft, but it was weird that they would track so steadily with each other and move so slow. I really didn't think too much of it, I had seen similar things in the past that weren't too far out of the realm of normality, but when the lights seemingly halted, and rapidly shot upwards to tiny points of light (probably about a second to a second and a half) in a very gentle quarter twist motion), I was pretty sure I was not watching a pair of Cessna aircraft. The twin points of light glittered for about two seconds before one on the left just winked out and the one on the right shot across the window in a Northernly direction in about a quarter of a second, After waiting a few minutes, keeping my eyes on that patch of sky to see if anything else manifested itself, I turned on the table lamp and noted the time of 5:52 am and got out my iPhone and verified the direction the window faced as South West. The lights were blue/white, steady (no-pulsing), tracked very steady and were unspectacular except for their astounding speed and precise action across the sky.

At approx. 21:30 eastern time, I was watching TV. The TV room in my house faces to the west. All of a sudden, I started seeing very bright multicolored lights, at first just one at a time, moving from west to northeast quickly. I mentioned to my wife if she had noticed this? Her comment was it may just be a reflection off our gutter from passing cars down the street. As the time passed, I kept seeing more and more of these bright, fast moving, multicolored orbs following the same flight path and quickly ran outside for a closer look. Once I got outside, I noticed a steady stream of the orbs, sometimes in groupings of four or five at a time, moving across the sky. Now our weather here in Akron, while cold, was perfect. Crystal clear skies last when I observed this amazing event. Another thing I noticed while i was on the phone with the police was a passing commercial airliner, which was moving in a northwesterly direction over me. I could see and hear the marker lights as well as the engine. I also clearly heard the passing traffic, I live a block away from a main street here in Akron. As the orbs passed, they were completely silent! and I noticed they were relatively low in the sky. As they traveled through the sky at times they seemed not to far from the top of near by buildings. The last orbs trailed off around 22:15

While sitting on my sofa watching the Golden State Warriors game against the Thunder, saw a dull orange circular object appear through the window in the southeast. Walked outside to see what it was and this orange orb was slowly moving in a generally southeasterly direction. It had a brighter portion which was about 10% of the total size of the object and that part was slowly rotating in an irregular pattern around and through the object. Grabbed my binoculars out of the car and was able to see clearly that that brighter orange glow rotating continued and in trying to identify it the only thing that it was remotely like was a large balloon with a gondola slung underneath it. In this case though, the gondola was on fire as it was significantly brighter than the rest of the object. But the way this brighter portion was moving was not predictable and did not have an obvious pattern or rhythm to it. The dimmer portion of the orb looked to have a semblance of a grid-like appearance, but when the brighter portion of the glow moved across the face of it, the grid was no longer visible due to the greater intensity of the light. After about four minutes of relatively slow and consistently paced movement from my right to left, it appeared to turn south and head toward San Francisco roughly. It moved away at a regular pace for several seconds and then appeared to speed up significantly until it became too small to view and then disappeared. The speed of this last part seemed unlike anything that I've seen before, as though the physics I am aware of were no longer operating on this object. The disappearance from view in the last ten seconds essentially happened too fast to be explained by any previous experience I've had. There was no sound involved at all. This is the first time that I have ever seen, much less reported, anything like this. Until I did a Google search on 'orange object in the night sky over Petaluma tonight,' I was unaware of websites like this. I'm a totally sane person and this was in no way imagined. I'm a professional IT Project Manager and have been in the industry for many years with increasing levels of responsibility. Folks like me are pretty grounded as a rule or would not be able to survive in these kinds of roles for long. Keeping calm under great pressure is a prerequisite for this work. I've got no idea who reads these entries or what is done with them, but felt that if there is something weird around and others have seen the same thing, maybe it is a good idea to report. I was sitting at a red light at the corner of Mcarthur and South Grand, when I saw what I thought was a floating lantern. When it got closer I noticed it was not a lantern but a sphere of electricity. It was like lightning trapped in the sphere with the color of fire. It was flying low like a helicopter and heading towards Washington park.

About 7:30 pm, I was taking groceries from my car into my home, when I looked south into the sky and saw two large (as compared to commercial jet or helicopter) red-orange colored spheres. They were moving across the sky, west to east, but very slowly. I could see no lights, typical to any aircraft flying at night, and I strained to hear any kind of aircraft noise and could not. I watched them travel east and then sort of disappear or fizzle out. I continued with my groceries and then noticed two more of the same. A few minutes later, two more and then two more came more quickly. All had the same characteristics and moved slowly, almost as if floating across the sky. Just before the final four spheres crossed, another small aircraft came into the space from a more northwest direction. However, the path of this plane took it right next to these spheres, so it had to have seen them as it passed two of them. The final four spheres also traveled slowly to the east before fizzling out. I thought maybe our Air Force base was doing some new kind of craft experiment or they were weather balloons. The only different thing was that at the end, I believe I could see tiny lights around the spheres, very tiny, almost like diamonds or little stars, but they were moving, too. Observed a white orb moving from east to west about maybe 200 ft above the catalina mountain range which is northeast of Tucson, AZ. The time was about 18:40 and the orb was moving in an erratic way along the top of the mountain range. I observed the orb for about a minute, before it descended behind the mountain {northside} and was never seen again.

I am a 48 year old woman who works full time for a Non-Profit Energy Efficiency Company. I was talking with a co-worker about what I saw while driving to my son's house on 2/2/16. She recommended that I report it here, so here it goes! I was driving on Buck Jones Road going to my son's house (toward Cary, NC). It was a nice sunny afternoon when a shiny, sphere-like object caught my eye in the sky to my left. It appeared to be floating very slowly downward and I watched it for approx. 5-10 whole seconds. I passed a couple of large trees on my left that blocked my view for a mere second and once I passed them, the object was nowhere to be found.

Big orbs lights bright and dim. Floating across the Santa Monica Bay. Some dimmed out completely but 2 or 3 were left floating at times or not moving. Some tell me they were drones. But I am not sure if other people see something like this. Eventually all lights got smaller and dimmed out. I took a video on my cell phone. It was nighttime. I was going to turn off lights to my house as we were getting ready for bed. From my backyard, I can see partial unobstructed view of Santa Monica Bay. I see usual airplanes from LAX. This was not an airplane and was not following the normal flight path. The unexplained lights caught my eyes because these lights were larger than usual airplanes. And they were hovering over the ocean. They seemed very close and lower to the ocean than airplanes would normally be.

Went out for a walk with the dog, at 9:50pm EST and after 5 minutes of walking down the road, both, my mom and I, saw a glowing bright red light sphere, moving horizontally above us, across the sky. The object moved with a steady speed, light was mostly red, glowing with yellow and orange tones, was moving at a significantly lower altitude than an airplane or even a helicopter, and it was making absolutely no noise. It took it a minute or so to pass us, after which it blinked and disappeared.

Heading south on Sullivan Avenue, I noticed a very large plane or military helicopter moving extremely slow. Within seconds i realized it was neither. This object was practically hovering above me without any sound. One glowing strobe light across the entire underside, with one round light on each end. These lights were not bright, somewhat muted. It also seemed as if it was composed of box like shapes within the sphere. It began to slowly change direction, and when I turned my vehicle around towards Rt 5, it was gone. No sound, hovering above me, probably 150 ft oval/square shape… I was the only vehicle in all directions, complete silence.

Tonight, several of my neighbors and I witnessed 7 orange orbs of light cross over our homes traveling SE to NW. They looked like balls of fire at first due to the color, but they were all the same size, followed the same path, and appeared to “burn out” or disappear from sight at the exact same place on the horizon. They changed from orange to red a few times and there was no sound at all. I took a great video of it. I’ve seen lots of the same sightings all over the world…what are these things??? I stepped outside the house a little before 2 am to relieve myself. At the same time, I looked into the sky to observe the 5 planets which could be seen in this 30 day period. Next to Jupiter, I saw an orange/bright white sphere, about twice as large as Jupiter. I could detect that the ball was moving, descending steeply on a curve from west to east and initially coming from the north toward South Point. As it came in my direction, it went behind a large tree and I called to my friend to look out the window. When the sphere came from behind the tree, it had leveled off and was moving evenly on a bee-line. Steam was coming off the seeming metallic round vehicle. It made no sound other than the steam. It was about 500 feet high and a quarter-mile away. It had a bright light off the front left and another off the back right. I asked my friend if they had seen what I had seen and "yes" was the answer.

Burbank, CA. On January 29, 2016, between 21:27 and 21:36 PST, ten solid, unblinking, red-orange orbs, about three times larger and twice as bright as Venus, some with vertical lines approximately one orb diameter (possible optical illusion), were observed by self and adult son crossing 45 to 90 degrees across horizon becoming visible at ~150 degrees SSE through between 210 and 280 degrees SSW at approximately 30 degrees above horizon with slight increase in elevation during travel. Event may have begun before I noticed. All appeared to originate from same point in SE and each disappeared from view at different points. Fade out took between one and five seconds. Earlier orbs appeared to travel greater distance while later ones disappeared from view after covering shorter path. Each remained visible for over a minute and three to four were visible at a time. No frame of reference to determine velocity or range. I have over 30 years USAF and these did not resemble any rocket/missile or afterburner that I have seen.
