Object literally hovered over the area and then proceeded to very slowly move in a northern direction before exiting witnesses view. Driving home at dusk, I saw a very large black triangular craft. It was hovering at low altitude in the middle of a suburban shopping area, right outside of the City of Richmond. I was smoking a cigarette so the window was down, but I heard nothing out of the ordinary. This object was completely silent. I got a very good look at it when stopped at a traffic light. It was hovering right over a national box-store, at no more than twice the hight of the building itself. This triangular craft was immense! If I had to estimate its size, I’d say it was at least that of a football field, if not larger. It was an isosceles triangle, black in color, except for seven red circular lights on the underside of the craft. Each vertex had a large-sized light, and there was another at the triangle’s center. From this larger center light there ran a row of three smaller red lights, down to the unequal side’s edge. It was astounding to see this extraordinary object juxtaposed on a perfectly typical, American landscape scene. Its been tough to forget this, and I've yet to rationalize what I saw as being anything other than a "UFO." Thus I figured it was time to submit my report.

After parking in my driveway at around 7:30 PM on 1/10/15, when I stepped out onto the driveway I happened to look up at the stars. It was extremely clear and very cold (around 15 degrees). The stars were very bright. I was looking to the southeast, and just below a familiar, sideways V-shaped formation of stars I saw three stars of equal brightness forming a perfect equilateral triangle. They caught my eye and within a second or two I realized they were moving. I had to stare very hard at them to be sure they were in fact moving because they were moving so slowly. As soon as I was certain of this, they began to fade away. I would guess that between 5-10 seconds had elapsed when they began to fade out. It was like someone turned them off with a dimmer switch. They just faded out perfectly synchronously and were gone in about two seconds. I continued to stare at that area of the sky for about five minutes, but saw nothing else. It all happened so fast, and my! eyes were still adjusting to looking at the dark of the sky, so I cannot say whether there was a form connecting the lights, though I did not see any stars within the triangular area encompassed by these three lights. They were the brightness of the average star until they faded. Then there was nothing but the night sky. I have no idea of any distance to whatever I saw. It could have been 100 feet from me, or miles away. This is the first time I have ever been unable to easily verify something I have seen in the sky. The lights weren’t blinking. They were like the cold white light of starlight. I see aircraft in the sky every night and they do not fade away, plus their lights blink and they usually have red and white lights. As for my background, I am a Systems Programmer/Analyst. I am 50 years old. I have a wife, 2 teenage children, 2 cats and 3 dogs. The dogs force me to be out in my yard a lot at night, so I am always staring at the stars and planets when the sky is clear.

While sitting in my office I happened to see a large triangle shaped craft out the window maybe 3 miles away. When it was flying by the lights dimmed in my house. The craft was emitting a very bright fluorescent like light.

I am one of those persons who has seen UFOs numerous times. I have literally seen UFOs probably at least a dozen times, but I had never seen one of these triangular objects until last night. I live in a 2nd floor apartment that faces east toward Hartford. I get a nice unobstructed view of the sky and I constantly see planes coming from Bradley Airport about 20 miles away, or I see planes going in for a landing there. So, I am VERY familiar with airliners. But tonight I just happened to look out and saw this BEAUTIFUL perfect triangle object. It had many very bright white lights on it and was flying very slowly. I don't know how high it was, maybe 3-5000 feet at most. It looked quite large, I got the impression it was probably twice the size of an average airliner. I wish I would have had time to count the lights, but I am sure I saw probably 7 or 8 large white lights, and one very small blinking red light near the center. But the entire craft was outlined by the white lights and was a perfect equilateral triangle 60/60/60. It was really a very pretty sight. It seemed to be going quite slow, much slower than the airliners I see every night. If I had to guess, I would say it was going maybe 200 mph at most. It was flying from northeast toward the southeast, which is the regular path many planes from Bradley follow. Anyway, I was only able to see it for about 10 seconds before it flew over my building, but I had time to put on a coat, grab a pair of binoculars and run downstairs which probably took about 15-20 seconds. It was going so slow that it was still there and I got to look at it for about another 15 seconds before it went behind another building and I lost sight of it. I am not completely sure, but I think I MIGHT have heard it, if so, it sounded like a normal airliner, but I might have been hearing another plane that I saw in the same part of the sky. That's it, very simple sighting, but a very beautiful object. It was probably one of ours, but I don't care, I have always wanted to see one of these triangular objects, and now I have.

This is simply an addition or addendum to a report I made several days ago, I believe it was for 01/09/15. After I filed the report I realized I made a mistake. The craft was travelling from the northeast toward the southwest. I believe I mistakenly wrote the southeast. That is error, it was going toward the southwest. This is a very regular route for the many planes I see coming from Bradley Field in Hartford, so this might have been some sort of commercial or military craft, but it was quite spectacular and unlike anything I have ever seen, and I grew up around airbases, as my father was a aircraft radar technician by trade. I am also including a drawing I made in Paint. It will be obvious I am no artist, but it will give the rough idea. I could not actually see any body to this craft, just the very bright and very beautiful lights. Only the red light blinked, all other lights were steady.

My girlfriend and I were on are way home driving down KGB past Settlers Bay, when we saw a low flying plane with a triangle that had six lights going around the edge ahead of it. The plane appeared to be following its every move. As we watched it go over KGB, all you could see was the lights outlining it, and it seemed to blend into the clouds. The plane had only one bright light on the bottom. When they passed over us, I had the window rolled down, and neither the plane, nor the object, made any noise. They were around five tree lengths up. I watched them go over Cook Inlet and you could see the outline of a big black perfect triangle being followed by a plane. Then the trees blocked our view and we couldn't see them after that.

My mom and I went out to smoke our cigarettes, when I noticed that the sky didn't look right. There was a ring of lightly colored clouds that covered the horizon, in all directions. When we looked up it was like a giant circle of black (like the world had turned into a dome shaped skylight), and there were three lights in the sky, dispersed to where I thought I was seeing the stars. When I looked to the south, there was a gap in the clouds, which was a very lightly colored sky, as though the sun was still setting. When I looked back up at the black, I started to notice, I couldn't tell if it was really clouds or not. It didn't look right. Then I noticed the brightest of the three lights (mentioned earlier) was actually moving, with a lesser bright light slowly tailing behind it. The brightest light seemed to split up into two bright lights for short instances. The two lights were moving south, but the further they went it seemed as though they weren't moving! at all, despite the speed at which they were moving. I stuck my finger exactly where I saw the brightest one last (making sure I wasn't seeing stars) and sure enough they were moving. But, they still seemed to be going nowhere. About the time I confirmed they were moving I noticed the third star disappeared and several little lights dashed and flashed all over the sky. At one point one little bouncing light dotted the outline of a square. I think there was thirteen of them, maybe more. This went on for a while and I noticed the clouds coming from the horizon stretching all the way across the sky. (It took about three minutes to occur) the clouds stretch across like ribbons laid out side by side. It looked like the lighst were pulling the clouds in, it wasn't natural. Next thing I noticed was the brightest light and the little light tailing it had finally made some distance. It went from directly overhead to west over the house. I was soon able to make out the shape of the brightest star, a triangle with a little red pulsing light in the center. It and the little light ducked in and out of the clouds (Six minutes after the clouds appeared, the sky was covered by clouds), and the lights soon disappeared. Still after the two lights left the flashing, ducking, and dashing lights still remained and later ceased.

My brother and I were driving at night to go pick up his daughter. As we were driving we seen this huge triangle just hovering in the air. It had a red light that flashed. It was absolutely quiet and just gliding in the air. I can tell you right now that it gave us chills. It seemed like it seen us because it turned towards us and followed us out. My brother was speeding away and I was the one watching it but stopped watching because I was so scared.

3 steady white lights brightness and size of stars in triangle shape observed 30 degrees above horizon in east going east. Spacing between lights approximately 1-1.5 full moons. Slow and steady movement east for 30 seconds observed. All faded out at same time much like a satellite. We spoke with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite eloquent, sincere, and sober-minded. We will check to see whether the objects might have been the three Chinese satellites, which currently orbit the Earth in a triplet formation. PD

I swear it was the size of ten Goodyear blimps on just one edge of the triangle shaped craft hovering silently in the clouds in the southern sky from Indian School and 7th Ave. It had huge bright golden colored lights on each edge and just as I looked up at it and was saying out loud what the hell is that it silently moved up and just disappeared. It was like it was unreal like it was cgi, but I saw this with my own eyes.

Hi I think your in the usa but iam in England and I just had something weird happen I live in a small village not far from Gravesend any way I have a cough and went to the kitchen this morning to get a drink I did not put on the light as the cooker clock is fine I got my water from the tap and look out in to my garden threw the window by the sink my garden the looks on to farm land at the moment it's winter here so there are no crops in the field I look out and could see a mist in the field and thought that it look like it was lit up with light as I look harder I could see what I thought was something moving so I moved to the back door and open it for a better look as I looked I look right up in the sky and see what was a massive triangle/ cigar shape in the sky with a funny looking thing at the rear what look like a rough foggy light beam I thought Christ what the hell and took a step out to the garden I got about 5 steps when I felt like a warm misty rain agains my face and went to wipe my head I then notice I was at the bottom of the garden about 85feet where I had been standing I look up and there was just stars and it's cold so I went straight in doors But here's when it gets a bit worrying I looked at our cooker clock when I went in to the kitchen it said 2.05 am but now the clock said 3.48am I went in to our front room and check the TV time and check my phone time which both said 3.48am I have check my body and check out side but all looks ok Please tell me is this something I should report to the government or somebody iam 45 year old male and yes I watched Star Wars and all the normal sci fi films I think there's must be more then us in this big unverse but hay what has happened Many thanks for your help in this matter We are uncertain as to whether this is intended as a serious-minded report. At approximately 10:18 p.m I went outside onto my backyard patio to smoke. I sat in my chair and looked out to see if there were any fireworks because I could hear them going off all around. Next thing I knew I saw two Orange fireball objects coming over some tall trees. At first I thought they were fireworks and then some kind of rockets until they curved to the left. I wondered if they were some kind of helicopters but I listened but there wasn't any sound at all. They were moving very slowly. I then yelled out to my daughter who was right inside "Come here. Hurry, you have to see this!" My daughter came running and she saw the objects. Next thing we know there were three lights behind it. I said whatever it is, they are flying in a triangular formation. Then two more orange objects came over the trees one at a time. By this time we were out in the backyard looking up. It was very cloudy almost a fog outside! The objects didn't fly in a straight line, but curved several times so we got to see them at different angles. Still no sound! As they flee to the closest point to us we could see the large triangle object was a solid object with lights a each point of the triangle. We watched until the lights disappeared into clouds. The objects were flying low end o ugh that there should have been some sound but there wasn't. There had to have been other witnesses because with it being New Years Eve a lot of people were out and about in the area. In addition my daughter tried to film the objects on her cell phone but she said the screen was black and she was unable to film it.

My wife awoke me to witness three flying objects in the sky south east of our home. They were flying at around 500 ft +/_ , flying at first in formation then one branched off while the other two sort of hovered in a general area of the night sky. These objects were red and slightly orange in colour. They began to move east away from our home towards Thunder Bay and all at once just vanished into thin air, one minute I was watching them, and I turned to my wife for a split second, and when I looked back out to the sky they were gone.

I reported it to the FAA and U. S. Coast Guard, and found out the next day there was reports up and down the California coast of the exact thing I had seen. The scariest part of my experience was watching it fly with intelligence and as odd as it may sound. When it noticed me noticing it, it changed course and flew away.. Triangle shaped no other color but red and could stop and go at will and hover. Never seen anything like it. Made me shake in fear! My boyfriend and I were on a boat at a firework launch sight for a new years eve celebration. We were on our one minute countdown to midnight when, above our small island, rose a red inverted triangle. Each point of the triangle had a red light. At first my boyfriend thought they were flares but then we noticed they weren't moving AT ALL. At midnight, the fireworks went off and we lost sight. When I found them again during a break, the point of the triangle was on top instead of bottom, but the whole formation was in the same vicinity as before. Judging by distance, I would guess the object was about 100 ft on each side. Tried to catch a photo, but being on the water in waves, I could not get a clear shot. While sitting in our driveway at the end of a cul-de-sac which backs up to a wooded area, we were roasting marshmallows at 9:30 p.m., when we noticed in the sky three reddish-orange lights in a triangular pattern moving very slowly across the sky. They seemed to appear suddenly out of nowhere. We watched the object move north to south and all 3 lights started to dim and the light at the front vertice of the triangle was the last one to go out. It never returned.
