Every once in awhile about a year ago, I decided to start looking out the window from my apartment at night. One of these times, I saw a light that seemed to be moving across the sky. It was too low to be a plane, and had no sound. Just a strobing light. Fast forward to about a month ago, when I decided to start actively looking out my window. The sightings of these strange lights seemed to increase. They cannot be seen at all times of the night, so I decided to sample every so often each night. Sometimes I would see them, sometimes not. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I decided to buy some binoculars to see if I could make out the craft attached to these lights. After locating some lights on a few nights, I managed to lock on several times with my binoculars. There is no craft attached to the lights. They are just strobing lights floating across the sky in odd ways. Fast forward to about a week ago. I started consistently looking out the window to find the lights. To my amazement, they had stopped. I had been seeing them at least once every 3 days. Therefore, I decided to take it easy and stop consistently looking out the window. Fast forward to the reporting date. On a whim, I decided to look out the window. I assumed it was mostly done, and I would not see anything more. To my amazement, in plain sight - 3 strobing lights. I was caught off guard. All of the lights were just strobing across the sky, starting from different points. I decided to grab my binoculars to see if I could lock on to one of them. I picked one and tried to keep it in view. As soon as I did, it started to zip around. Every time the light strobed, it would instantaneously zip to another position. I had a hard time tracking it, but didn't think much of it because it was in the view of my binoculars, therefore it was not going very far (perspective). I went away from the window to try and process what happened and then went in for another go. Since the binoculars weren't doing me any favors - there is no craft attached to the lights, I decided to look with the naked eye. Again to my dumbfoundment, this is where things got eerie. There were still 3 lights. All throughout the sightings, the strobe pattern had been gentle. It is very much like a standard plane strobe pattern. One light started strobing crazily. Its strobe pattern sped up and started zipping left to right in the tree line. I located the other light near the ground and it started to strobe much faster. After about 2 seconds, it shot 50 feet into the air instantly at every strobe. At this point, I was scared, so I stopped observation and shut the window. I cannot ascertain if these lights know that someone (or me) is watching them. Additionally, these are not planes or UAVs. For one, there is no visible craft attached to the lights. For two, there is no sound. And for three, planes and UAVs cannot perform the maneuvers being seen. Since the appearance of the lights is almost daily outside my window, it is safe to say this is a hotspot (in my opinion). I am inclined to get the correct gear to video tape these lights; however, I honestly was too scared to go outside and do so this time. Furthermore, what about next time? Will I be too scared? For reference, I live in the Woodbury Knoll apartment complex. CT 64 is right outside my window at a distance of some feet. Across the road there are some buildings. This is seemingly where the activity is taking place. I do not have a good idea of the range at which the lights are from my window, but they are very low to the ground and fairly close. I am performing the sightings from lat / long coordinates: 41.526603, -73.181202. If you draw a line from the origin coordinates to lat / long coordinates: 41.525573, -73.182087, you will see where I am looking to see the objects.

Erda, UT

At least 12 non-blinking white lights traveling in a straight line, each were the exact same distance apart. They seemed to be appearing one at a time, out of nowhere from the exact same spot. They were flying North East at a very high rate of speed.

Akron, OH

I work for a food distributor in Akron Ohio. When I got to my first stop around 6:25AM I got out of my truck and looked out towards the horizon. I noticed a light green light in the sky moving strangely, I observed for about 10 seconds and pulled out my iPhone to record the event. The object was making very sharp maneuvers and flashing bright then getting dim again. This object flew at a rapid speed and changed direction like I have never seen any aircraft do before. After about two and a half minutes of recording it disappeared. You can not see the green color in my video but it reminded me of the color of mint ice cream. Like white mixed with green. There are parts of the video where it is hard to see the craft but if you can zoom in you can follow it for almost the entire video. For a moment it disappears behind a satellite dish but will reappear going the opposite direction shortly.

I work for Gordon Food Service and was delivering to Parasson's Italian Restaurant on Waterloo Rd. In Akron Ohio. When I got out of my truck I noticed the light moving strangely, so after about 10 seconds I decided to pull out my phone and record. Light seemed to have a greenish hue. I recorded about 3 minutes of video and it disappeared. I have never seen anything Move this fast or change directions this rapidly. Too far away and too fast to be a drone in my opinion but I guess I could be wrong.

Looking west from our hilltop, this light was the brightest in the sky. It remained stationary for many minutes and then withdrew backwards. When I zoomed in with my iphone the shape was longer on the bottom with lights at each corner. I do have a picture on my phone.

I was looking up in the sky when I noticed a fast moving light (that looked like a star) heading east across the sky. After watching it for some time I looked back to its origin. Then out of no where I saw another one begin to follow the one I had just seen. I called my wife and granddaughter to come out and see what I was seeing and then another light appearing from the same origin in the sky as the others. These star like lights were appearing and following each other out of nowhere, one after another. This same event kept happening as we counted 9 in total, popping out of the same spot in the night sky like they were coming through a hole in the sky. They bright and appearing to be as high as the regular stars. Quite incredible. I checked local websites to see if anyone else had witnessed this, but no luck. Wow I tell ya! Wow!

Dillsburg, PA

A somewhat large light shone through the trees, bigger than a plane and not blinking. It was brighter than a plane, star, or satellite, and it was very clear to see as it was dark outside. The light was white and hovered at first, but began to move upwards at a slow pace. As it was behind a few trees from my perspective, it was difficult to follow, but it continued moving up until it was clear of the trees. It then seemed to flicker in a single rapid motion to the left, then back again. It continued moving upwards until it suddenly disappeared. I was unable to tell whether it had gone behind a cloud, vanished, or left, but it was no longer visible.

Skokie, IL

My wife and I were returning home from dinner near Dempster and Crawford in Skokie, IL on Feb. 14, 2020 – Valentine Day. I first noticed two Unmanned Aerial Systems, guessing, one to two miles in the distance, hovering, stationary and close together, appearing as constant star color, west of Crawford. After several moments, one pulled away and dropped in a straight line very rapidly in a matter of several seconds to about half the distance to the horizon. The other after a short time continued west very quickly in a straight line, and faded almost out of sight. The shape of both objects remained constant. The UAS that dropped continued moving south and quickly merged with UAS described below. Towards the southwest we counted approximately 8 or 9 other objects. Counting was difficult because of the quickness and the back and forth of their movements. Three or four were definitely helicopters, long military shapes with flashing night- lights, moving west while two or three other star dot shaped lights were flying east towards the objects moving west. All appeared to be at a variety of heights to one another, very high to very low. All objects were moving extremely fast, in straight lines and in close proximity to one another. The action looked chaotic.

My family and I were traveling west on US-270, we observed a large bright light to the southwest. We then observed a smaller light move from the larger one at a high rate of speed moving north/northwest. We pulled over and watched as 8 more for a total of 9 smaller lights flew to the north/northwest at very high speeds. Some of the smaller light would change in brightness. Shortly after the 9th light we began to observe known aircraft in the same vicinity as the smaller lights, they also were flying in at a high rate of speed in the same direction as the lights. The whole event took place over a 30 minute period. Aircraft that seemed to pursue the unknown lights came from the east overhead toward the west.

I was driving on Route 78 west around the bridgewater area (this is not 100% confirmed but best to my knowledge). To the left of me, very low, parallel to the median, I witnessed an extremely fast moving object with a bright blue light stream through the sky and then the light disappeared in mid air. The object almost looked like a jet landing extremely fast but never made contact with the ground. The blue light disappeared mid decent. There was no sound. This was not a shooting star or even close to the speed/pattern of that. This was much slower than a shooting star yet way faster than my vehicle was driving (70 MPH). It was large in size. Although this was late at night I would be surprised if I were the only one to witness this.

I left work around 19:30 and drove to the highway (I20) I was heading west. As soon as I got on the highway I noticed 2 very bright lights in the sky. 1 directly in front of me and the other slightly north of the of the other. As I traveled down the road, I thought about how bright they were, then the second light started turning more north, this is when I noticed the green light, obviously an airplane, the reason I am reporting this is because the first light never moved, just remained directly in front as I continued down the highway. This started at exit 599 and stayed directly in front until I exited the highway onto US-271, I the traveled north to CR757 then home. Arriving around 20:20. Now,from the house the light was directly west, I opened my SkyGuide app to see what plant or Star it may be yet nothing lined up. My wife met me outside and I showed her where the light was and she, of course, looked at me like I was being silly. We went in the house,! talked for a few minutes, at 21:00, I came back out to gaze some more and the light was now gone.

Detroit, MI

I drive from work in Michigan through Detroit to my home in Windsor, Ontario. On my drive, I often watch planes coming in or out of Metro Airport, or helicopters, often with searchlights over the city. Last night was overcast with high clouds. I spotted a white light I assumed was a plane headed to the airport. Only one light, no multiple or red lights like a plane. More like a satellite, but it was cloudy. It was coming over downtown from the east like planes to the airport would. But, it was moving significantly faster than any jet or helicopter. Not streaking across the sky, but 4 or 5 times faster than any jet coming in to land. It appeared to change direction headed south, but the freeway I was on has curves, so it may have just been that. But, it headed south over Windsor, and disappeared over the horizon. Planes come into the airport from the east over Windsor/Detroit. They do not turn south over Windsor & disappear over the horizon. The whole sighting was 30 to 60 seconds. Watching a plane come in from the east, it's visible a good 2-3 minutes. It did not seem to change speed. But it moved significantly faster than any jet - including the occasional fighter jet from Selfrige AFB north east of Detroit. As I said, it resembled a white light like a satellite, but it was cloudy with high clouds, and this was below the clouds. Other than the speed, direction, and being a single white light, it would have been something I've seen hundreds of times on this drive. But this was definately not that. It was easily several times faster than any jet headed to land, and it went the wrong direction, actually crossing at a right angle where jets coming from the he west turn around to head west to the air port.

Hagerman, ID

Super bright, orange light above the hills. Twinkled really brightly in the dark, hovered in the same spot, I pulled out my pocket universe to try to figure out if it was a planet and got nothing. Thought it could be Venus, but I went inside, texted my friend about it, went back outside and it was gone. I've never seen anything besides the moon so bright in the sky.

Killeen, TX

I stepped out the house to check how cold it was, clear sky, Venus was bright, but then I saw two lights in the sky little brighter than the rest with a distance between them. While looking at them I thought that the rotation of the earth was a little faster than ever because there was a movement of the “stars” where unusual, then both “stars” dim itself and disappear.

Orem, UT

My mother (who is a skeptic and doesn’t necessarily believe in UFO’s) called to inform me about a very bright white light she noticed while driving home, as I went outside, sure enough a large single bright white light was shining strongly through Utah’s thick smoggy air, no other stars or planets were visible in that portion of the western Utah sky due to the smog. It seemed to be sitting stagnate, no changes, no movement, no pulsation, almost as if it was pretending to be a star but was noticeably too bright to be one... using a star chart I could not identify any star or planet in its location. I looked down at my phone and when I looked up it was gone, only darkness remained with no sight of this mysterious light. Vanished in a blink of an eye.
