Chazy Lake, NY

On a cold windy winter night, I was driving on Route 374 by Chazy Lake heading west. I saw a bright white light at the far end of the lake. At first, I thought someone put up a bright street light. As I continued west, I could see it better and by the time I was by the bay at the end of the lake (toward Lyon Mt.) I saw it close up. It was a huge white light sitting a few hundred feet in the air over the shoreline and not just bright but SCARY bright! I slowed down to get a good look and became very scared because of how close it was and how big and frighteningly bright! It didn't move at all – and I didn’t notice any sound either (of course I stayed inside my car). I would say it was probably about 500 feet away and at least a couple hundred feet in the air. It was just so unbelievably BRIGHT! I was very scared and took off and kept checking my mirrors to see if it had moved from the lake to the road behind me. It was definitely NOT: an airplane, helicopter, Chinese lantern, balloon, planet, or the moon. If someone could take something the size of a car (guessing only), turn it into the brightest whitest light you've ever seen, and prop it up 200-300 feet in the air over the shoreline at the end of the bay where no one lives, then I'd say it was that. I travel by the lake frequently and never saw anything like that before.

My husband and I were in bed and the stars were very bright through a transom window. I first saw a really cool meteor that was the largest I'd ever seen. From my view it was baseball size and was heading toward the Atlantic Ocean. Shortly after I noticed a star that was moving around like it was a bug. I asked my husband if he saw the odd star that was moving around. He saw it too. It was very weird so I got out binoculars. Through the binoculars it was 3 lights moving around erratically. The lights were doing loops and squiggles and leaving trails of light in their paths. This went on nonstop. I am 56 and my husband is 59. We are college graduates and own a small business. We were totally sober and just trying to fall asleep.

Looking Northeast about 2:00am in the clear nightsky I noticed a stream of stars that was a strange formation in a vertical arrangement which caught my attention. I looked closely and noticed they were actually moving in a vertical formation descending from above and down to the eastern horizon. They were spaced apart but all moving at the same speed and equally distanced apart. There may have been a total of about 20 and as they descended downward from above another seemed to drop from the sky above. This occurred within 5 to 10 minutes and after approximately 20 had repeated the descent there were no more. None of these lights left a trail like a meteor but the incident reminded me more of the Phoenix lights reported a few years ago.

02-20-2020 I live in Victoria British Columbia on Vancouver Island and was up at 6:00 am. to let my dog out to do her morning business and I follow her out and stand on guard to watch for deer sleeping in our back yard. It was still dark out so I looked up to view the stars when I immediately noticed two white lights extremely high up overhead travelling side by side moving in a North-Easterly direction. I thought that was unusual except immediately following the same path, elevation and speed was literally a convoy of white lights in single file following the two side by side lights. I started counting them but stopped at ten and looked in the direction from which they were coming from which was the South-West. I saw a long continuous line coming one after the other and at that point I ran into my bedroom and excitedly called for my wife to come see this string of lights. I ran back outside and was quickly joined by my wife and we both watched this, what seemed like an almost endless ! string of lights travelling what I can only assume is in space. The time I began watching the first time was 6:05 am. and the parade of lights lasted until the very last one in the column was at 6:16 am. I have no idea how many of these lights the were but I would estimate well over one hundred. I don’t know if there were more lights pre-ceding the column when I observed the first two but truly an amazing site to behold, plus I finally have a witness this time. My dog at one point was growling and looking up at me and seconds later I pointed out to my wife a jet airliner travelling towards us and the column but at a bisecting North-West direction heading South-East and far below the column of lights. I don’t know if the captain saw this column but likely wouldn’t say so even if he did.

Saw what I thought was a satellite in the sky while taking my dog out this morning before sunrise. Noticed there was one following the first one I saw and then I saw several more follow behind at the exact same distance from each. Saw twenty in total traveling west to east. No noise.

30 km west of ignace Ontario. My bf and I stopped to take a stretch from our drive. He happened to ear something and glanced around to notice a light moving then soon followed the long line of lights in the dark morning sky. Wondering if he was seeing things, he quickly told me to look at the sky. I was shocked and freaked out .. I managed to catch the last 25plus lights fly in a line headed north

I walk my dog early in the morning inside four stars lined up facing north east of a brighter star, probably a planet. I thought that strange and was thinking what formation is that? Then I stopped walking and realized they were moving, all at the same rate, perfectly aligned in the same direction. One would fade out and another would appear. It went on for at least three minutes and then they were gone. SO weird!

At approximately 10:30pm, I took my dogs outside to let them pee, in the yard. As I stood holding their leashes, I was looking up at the sky. To the south, I noticed a faint reddish star. I cannot explain why I took notice at first, but I can best express my thoughts in the moment as if the star was “out of place”. I watched this “star” for a few seconds, and it then rapidly, erratically shifted its position in the sky, from its original position to other positions in the same vicinity of the sky, returning briefly back to its original position, during these rapid movements, and coming to rest again in the original position after ~5 seconds of rapid, erratic movement. The “star” sat in the original position that I first took notice of it in for another moment, longer than the movement had lasted for. The star then moved from the original position again, in the same manner it had done previously - rapidly, erratically, seemingly randomly, and back to the orig! inal position again. This cycle repeated for less than 5 minutes. My dogs did not react to these events. I cannot explain any reason as to why I decided to take the dogs back inside and not continue my examination of this “star”. In the moment, I registered that I was viewing something strange, but was not alarmed by it.

My girlfriend and I were outside and I happened to look up and saw what appeared to be a satellite. We watched it for approx 30 seconds until it was obscured by a huge poplar tree in our yard. About 10 seconds later another one was spotted coming from the same direction as the first one and seemed to be closely following the path of the first one. This went on until we saw 9 total of these things go by. They were about the same brightness and appearance as a medium bright star. The color never blinked or changed much and didn't resemble any aircraft that I've seen.

Saw what appeared to be satellites moving North. At first it was 1 every 20-30 seconds. Later followed by 2 very close together moving in unison and then 5 objects moving in unison and evenly spaced. All moved in the same direction and many on what appeared to be the exact same path. Lost count at 18 in the span of 10 minutes. While the 5 in a row were passing there was a “shooting star” off to the side that was very bright, yellowish with a red aura and tail.

I noticed what I thought was a sattlelight in the sky to the west of Orion but it disappeared before I could point it out to my BF. Then another appeared on the same trajectory it too disappeared soon after it crossed below Orion. A third appeared and disappeared in the same spot. We saw a total of 10 the last 3 changed trajectory upwards closer to the Orion consultation. The times were different between 10 and 20 seconds between each light.

I had stepped out onto my driveway for my first cigarette of the day. It was still dark in the sky but clear, no clouds. And as I often do when it is clear in the sky I looked up to the stars. Immediately I saw what appeared to be a satellite traveling relatively quickly from a West-SouthWest to East NorthEast course but immediately behind him (a mile?) was another one and then I noticed that there was a whole string of them. They were mostly evenly spaced apart but not all of them. A few were 3/4, give or take the distance from each other. One of them seemed to play slight catch up with the others - But I couldn't be sure. I am also not sure that the first one I saw was indeed the first one in the column. I suppose its possible that I didn't look up until the string of these satellite looking semi-bright objects were already half way past. I just don't know. These could be satellites but I have never ever seen perhaps a dozen all strung together in a row.

At 5:30 am while walking my dog in backyard, I noticed what I thought was a satellite in the northeast sky. As I watched it travel I noticed a 2nd light, then a 3rd, & so on until I counted 8-9 lights. All evenly spaced & traveling at the same speed. I looked past the location where I originally noticed the first light to see how far across the sky they were traveling. It appeared they were emulating from something where I spotted the original light. The lights appear to fall downward instead of propelling themselves. They were out in the sky quite a ways. If I had to guess, I would say they were out in the outer atmosphere. Northeast of my home would be Saginaw Bay Mi., Ontario Canada, then the north Atlantic.

A friend and I were walking home at about 11:30 at night she said oh my God and pointed at the sky and I looked up we saw bright colored like Blobs of Lights flying across the sky from east to west they appeared to be behind clouds but there were no clouds in the sky and then they vanished. At the same time my boyfriend was in a completely different place with some friends and they saw it too he said it look like something blew up and split in two maybe coming through the atmosphere.

I was looking to the east at 5:25am. I saw 3 stars, similar to Orion's Belt. At first I thought 1 star appeared to be moving south to north but then it was all 3 appearing to move in the same direction. As I watched I realized there was a line of about 30+ "stars" stretched from the northeast horizon to the southwest (just over and behind my head), equidistant from each other, and moving from southwest to northeast. I realized I needed someone else to see these things and got a coworker to get out of her car and witness the last 10-12 of them as they moved out of sight to the northeast. These appeared to be stars or satellites but they were symmetrically spaced and moving at the same speed in the same direction and they stretched across half the sky (30-40+). I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and the other witness is a cook in the facility where I work. I've seen other unusual things in the sky but never more than one or two and never long e! nough for another person to witness them. Honestly, this was amazing!

From the cockpit of an airliner at 40,000 feet. I am a retired USAF pilot and captain at a major airline. We were flying east to west on a heading of 250 degrees in a mostly clear night, though the ground had low overcast. Venus was clearly visible in the western sky. At 19:45 Central time, I observed what appeared to be a satellite passing below Venus and heading in a northerly direction. I pointed it out to the other pilot and we hypothesized what it could be. I recorded the details so I could later use a website to see what satellite it truly was. About 1-2 minutes later, we both observed another “satellite” traveling along the identical path, followed by another, then another, at one point two rather close to each other, all in all at least 10 in almost a 15 minute period. There was a gap until 20:21 when I saw the last one. Neither I nor the other pilot have ever seen anything like this. It was definitely weird!
