This is the 2nd time I'm contacting this site, I reported a sighting back in March in the Athens area and today I was a witness to another event much more bigger and closer than the last sighting. I travel 40mi to my job in Beaver 5 days a week from Athens, most of I-77 and I-64 to my work does not have lights and it's a drive in the dark most of the way, when I was traveling East on I-64 I was 3 exits away from Airport Road that leads to the industrial park, I noticed to the Northeast Venus and to the East I noticed a light behind some clouds, which I assumed was the moon, when I reached my exit I noticed that the light was getting bigger and just when I started to turn into the exit I noticed to my right the light had broken through the clouds to reveal a huge purple sphere with 4 smaller purple rounded spheres under it in perfect formation (best way to describe the formation of the 4 rounded spheres on the botton is like the 4 dots on a pair of dice), about 300 yards away from me and about a height of 1500-2000 feet, I had no where safe to pull over and take a photo because this exit is very small and has concrete barriers on both sides and I had at least a vehicle behind me, when I finally got on Airport Road, I passed the Shell gas station and noticed 2 people in the stations parking lot looking up to the sky in the direction the spheres were, I decided to pull over in front of the hotel accross the street from the gas station to take a 2nd look at this thing and to attempt to take a photo, when I got out of my vehicle the spheres were gone but I could notice a very faint purple trail mixed in the clouds left behind by this thing. I will send a photo I found online that's very similar to what I saw and a drawing to this sites email address.

Three bright white lights over Monterey Bay in straight line, then formed triangle, then line at an angle. They then dispersed and appeared, reappeared in separate area from bright to dim. Hovered for long periods.

I was on vacation waiting for my daughter, husband and friends to arrive at the resort when I received a disturbing phone call from the police department that my son in law had hung himself. At first I thought it was a mistake, I tried calling my daughter..no answer. I tried calling my son in law..no answer. I was standing on the porch of my resort when I suddenly saw a pink orb/sphere in the sky. It did not move...it was pink, I could see white round objects in front of it. It was not the moon. My neighbor below came outside to observe the orb...I yelled down to her..."Do you see the orb?" OMG..yes I do. We could not believe our eyes. It was in the sky for about 10-15 minutes when all of a sudden it was gone. Could this have been a sign from my deceased son in law?

Every night at 10 PM sit on my back porch watch the sky and sure enough from west to east heading toward Reno, NV, from Sacramento these balls of light fly across the sky, sometimes changing direction this particular night it was approaching and let off a bright white piercing light shot forward and repeated that bright flash and cont' east towards Reno Nv … you can see these do this every night, balls of light. Observed a bright light to the west of Grand Junction, almost stationary in the sky low on the horizon. Bright light at the time of initial observation was at about the one o clock position in the sky, Light slowly descended to the two thirty position. Observed blinking lights of what is presumed an aircraft moving toward the light. The light gained altitude then vanished. White orb hovering and moving slowly above Auburn, WA. Lea Hill area. At times it looked like bright chrome. Photos revealed that it appeared to be doughnut shaped with hole in center. Sent from my iPhone Photo forwarded by source of report appears to indicate a light-colored object, which is shaped somewhat like a donut, i.e. with a hole in the center of it. The appearance of a very bright circular dot flying high in the Northern part of the sky occurred around 22:00 hours on the 24th of June 2017. My partner and I witnessed it together as a glowing circle of pure white light moving rapidly in a straight line from North to South. Its movement was very swift and steady with no sound at all. There were no blinking lights or colors as with aircraft, just a very swift and steady movement that lasted for about 30 seconds before disappearing beyond our line of sight. About 15 minutes later we observed normal aircraft with blinking lights and the sound of motors humming within the same area but not traveling at a ¼ of the speed that the previously-sighted craft had exhibited.

My wife and I had just returned from dinner to our room at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, and walked out on the balcony, facing the ocean. Looking south towards San Clemente, we saw a bright orange/, red roundish ball of shimmering light coming up the coast, coming directly towards us, but slightly moving left to right and very slowly at the same time. The elevation was around 2,000 feet and we guessed the size of it was about the same as a large helicopter although it was clearly not a helicopter. It made no noise as it approached us and just as it was almost overhead, it started going nearly straight up and over the ocean with increasing speed until it got smaller and smaller. At this point we could no longer see it. I am an avid aviation enthusiast and have been to countless airshows, military and private, and have never seen anything like this.

Morning hike, spotted a round pullsating metallic looking sphere gliding along & slightly above the local foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. First thought it may be a party balloon, but it eventually stopped moving and remained aloft and stationary for at least 10 minutes, then slowly receded out of sight. Fascinating. Awoke at 4 am. Went outside to smoke cigarette. Also looked to see what weather was like. I noticed the clouds were thick and dense. There were no stars visible and no aircraft apparent at this time. I live 15 miles from an airport and do notice aircraft daily. There are no trees in my yard and I have large open neighborhood as well. As I stared out, looking toward South, I noticed light above me. When I looked up I saw two lights traveling from the North, coming directly over me. They appeared to be no more than 150ft in the air. I watched as the traveled. I could clearly see them below the clouds and were not a part of any aircraft nor attached to object/drone. I watched for about 7 seconds as they then turned off. I felt fear come over me for I was aware there was no other explanation I could fathom for these lights being there.. This was very close and highly visible… This was no mistake for aircraft (NO noise and not consistent in speeds of typical airplane/copter) or stars as clouds were so thick and covering entire sky. I went back into home to retrieve phone and had came back out. As I stepped out I could see that one of those orbs or lights was turned back around and headed back In direct North path it had originally came in from. The other light was not visible. The light visible then also turned off or burned out just as the porch door closed. I could still see a sort of ember or outline of the light r but I am not sure it wasn't just my eyes adjusting to what they had just seen. Morning bird chirping was the only sound.

Later that night a friend and myself were having a bonfire when we heard a loud guttural noise that we could not recognize coming from the forest. As we went to go investigate we saw a very large shadow come through the tree line so we ran back inside. That concludes the incident. Witness provides no contact information. PD

At aproximately 02:30 am my son and i were out at night stargazing when we saw 2 circular illuminated glowing orbs moving across the sky. The two objects seem to light up brighter and then dim down. They were moving at a high rate of speed, possibly 2000 miles per hour!! Then they just blinked out/gone. Date above is approximate, and has been assigned arbitrarily. PD

I was taking a break at my night supervisor job at Ball State University’s Bracken Library and while looking out a south facing window, I witnessed an opalescent orb suddenly appear about mid-sky and immediately shoot off towards the East. The entire sighting lasted about five seconds. Cloud coverage was spotty. The orb did not reappear after passing behind a cloud. I watched the sky for several more minutes and did not see the orb again.

At approximately 9:00PM, I was in my backyard attending to my BBQ. From the corner of my eye I saw a extremely bright flash that lit up the entire neighborhood. I looked and thought for a second someone had shot off those massive fireworks. Two extremely bright red glowing balls of light were now sitting in its place, silent. As I pulled my phone from my pocket to get a video they started to move together eastbound. They remained extremely bright red, almost like a hot air balloon. They move together in tandem at approximately 80 knots at an altitude of 3,000msl. No position light or anti collision lighting was observed. As they moved east the one at the rear disappeared completely. The one in the leading position continued until it flashed a number of times then disappeared. The video does not do justice, these objects were incredibly bright casting a red hue over the ground as they moved. I am a professional pilot and know just about everything fixed wing and rotor craft display at night. These were completely silent.

I got off shift at midnight, and was driving to Walmart to pick up a few things, when I sighted a bright light, shaped like an orb, moving south to north. I was driving north to south. It was bigger than Sirius, but smaller than a full moon. At first, I thought it was a medical flight plane, because of the appearance and flight path, but it was slightly too far to the east to be on the approach to the airport, which is north of town. I slowed down to watch the object. As I watched, a red orb appeared to the right of the white orb, which was slightly smaller. Then two more orbs appeared to the left of the original. Both were bright, pure white like the original. The continued traveling north for a few more seconds until it broke apart and dispersed into nothing. From my estimation, it went from about a half-mile to a quarter mile away at its closest, and well probably 200-300 feet up. UFO Report filed 06/16/17: On 06/15/17, at 9:05 pm, standing on our deck preparing to barbeque, I saw a light in southeastern sky that was moving toward my position gradually. I noticed that it looked different from an aircraft (we live south of St. Louis airport so airplanes are common and frequent) and had an orange/red glow much like a flame so my first guess was that it could be a hot air balloon. As it got closer, I tried to listen for the familiar sound of gas burners but was surprised at its total silence. It soon lost the light and moved to more of a north course as a very dim sphere. It seemed to speed up and soon was beyond the trees on our horizon to the north. The entire siting lasted approximately 10 minutes. Upon reflection, I don’t recall ever seeing a hot air balloon past sunset and never saw one move so fast. Also, I could not discern a fast wind to propel a balloon. Our two-story house sits on the north side of a street that goes east/west. We are directly at the end of a T intersection. Another street starts at this intersection and goes south. On June 15, 2017, at 19:30 (7:30pm), I was doing some planting in front of the house. The sky was clear and the sun was nowhere in my line of vision. Standing, I had turned and was facing a large flat window on the house, about 3.5’ from me. The window faces south. Because of the thermal properties of the window, during daylight it is difficult to see anything inside, and everything outdoors is clearly reflected back. I happened to be looking at the distinction of everything reflected and saw a bright white sphere, approximately 20” in diameter, travel east to west about 35’ directly above our street. It was traveling about 41 mph, if my calculations are correct. It did not waver up, down, or side-to-side. It appeared to be following the street. There was a slight visual softness about it that I consider to be an aura. It produced no audible sound. I turned around to face the street and search the sky to see if it might return. I’m still standing there one minute later (with the house to my back) when directly above me I see the sphere re-appear about 10’ above my house, going north to south at the same speed as before and again, absolutely no audible sound. This time, when it gets to where the edge of the street starts in front of the house, without hesitating it dips down about 5’ and continues to fly straight south. I noticed, instead of flying directly over the road like it did when it went from east to west, it flew about 15’ to the west side of the north/south road and flew just above the tree tops. There did not appear to be any comet’s-type tail or other lights, only a complete bright white sphere. I immediately recognized it as being the same type as I had encountered twice previously. This sphere is the same, if not identical, as what I saw and had hit my car while driving on the interstate on August 26, 2016, (3 miles away but also at the same time of day - please see that report) and also on October 22, 2016, (same location as now on the street that intersects with ours but during the night and that one flew south to north and further to the west off the intersecting street – was also witnessed by another person – please see that report). For more than 20 years, we often stargaze at night, watching stars and satellites. These white spheres are unlike anything we’ve ever seen. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and we were impressed by her apparent sincerity. We suspect that she is a very capable, and reliable, witness. She corrected the date to June 15, 2017, and we have amended the date above. PD
