Un témoin et son épouse, habitant dans une maison en campagne, observent depuis plusieurs années des phénomènes ponctuels ou récurrents à proximité de leur habitation : boules lumineuses en déplacements plus ou moins grosses, lointaines ou quelques fois proches. Suite aux constatations des experts envoyés auprès des témoins, il apparaît clairement que les boules lumineuses qu’ils observent tous les soirs sont des étoiles ou planètes. La plus lumineuse est Jupiter qui, fin octobre 2011, se lève à l’Est vers 19h30. Pour ce qui est des autres observations supposées au-dessus de leur champ, aucun élément n’a permis d’infirmer ou de confirmer les dires du témoin. Le GEIPAN classe en A les observations récurrentes (Jupiter et étoiles) et classe en C les autres observations. Le dossier est donc globalement classé « C ».
