Peabody, MA

This oddly is the second report am writing within 10 days. I've been observing the skies since I had a strange sighting in which I posted in the previous report from North Reading, Massachusetts on 05/10/2014. I am hesitant to report this feeling people might be critical being that its is so soon after my first report. Anyways, this anomaly happened as I was looking at the stars in the Peabody, Massachusetts, sky. The stars were very vibrant that night with minimal forecast. at approximately 20:30 hours I observed 2 star-like objects moving at high speeds (as fast as a plane would observed 300 ft up) These object were moving in unison together high up as stars would be and never moved away from one another. The objects were moving from the Peabody sky towards Danvers which is from South to North. Approximately 3-4 minutes later an additional star-like object was flying at the same speed and in the same direction. Then oddly enough I witnessed a both object this object flying the same speed, but in a completely different direction from Peabody to Salem which is West to East. These objects could be mistaken as stars if it wasn't for their high moving speeds but not as fast as a shooting star. These objects were moving is steady as a flight would be but the distance from myself seemed to show that these objects were flying at astonishing speeds. I looked at the Satellite and Space Station travel path of this day which does not match these times and flight direction. Completely odd. If there are an explanation on these objects or if these objects are believed to be UFOs, I would appreciate if someone could contact me through my email ((e-address deleted)) Thanks you!

One was above the other over the West Maui Mountains. The top one was very bright and a large V shape. The light below was like a squiggle, if that makes sense. It snagged shape into a fireball and then disappeared!! Probable launch of an "Aegis" anti-missile rocket at 19:35 hrs.. PD

New York City (Bronx), NY

In the Bronx, one of the five boroughs of New York City, In a fourteenth floor apartment with a terrace,as I was smoking a cigarette in the terrace, I saw Three yellow orbes decend over my right side of view. I was in awe. They stood hovering for about three minutes. One went in the direction over my building. I couldn't see where he was. But the other two stood hovering were they decended from. Shortly, the two orbes went east. One led the way the other followed. Then the other that I couldn't see came back to follow the others. I woke my mother from her sleep. I didn't want to be the only one seeing this phenomena. I wonder, did anyone else see what I saw. Many people here go to sleep late.

Altamonte Springs, FL

While taking my trash out to the curb, I noticed 3 large, bright orange lights flying lowly in what seemed to be a formation coming from the south. They were travelling rather slowly and did not have any other flashing lights like you would normally see from an airplane so it struck me as odd. They made no sound and moved very slowly. I then noticed 4 more of the same lights coming behind them from the same direction. I quickly ran in to the house to grab my two kids so they could see them too. When we got back outside there was another group of 3 coming up from behind the second group. My view in that direction is partially blocked by some tall pine trees so I was only able to see the lights through the breaks in the trees as they moved toward us. I moved my position to get a different angle so I could see them better after they passed the trees, but they never appeared on the other side. I then went back to my original spot where I could then see another small group approaching but the first few groups were nowhere to be found. I followed the lead light in that group to try and see where they were going and it basically seemed like it made a slow hard left turn, travelling away from my vantage point, until it faded from view and the others followed. In total I saw 5 or more groups totaling approximately 16 or more lights. All were in groups of 2 to 4 and traveled in a similar path in what looked like a loose formation of sorts. I have never seen anything like this before and in hindsight I wish I had thought to count exactly how many I saw. I was so surprised at what I was seeing that it never crossed my mind to count how many lights or groups I was seeing. Each of the lights looked very similar to what an ignited flare looks like, just more orange in color than the vibrant red of a road flare. I spend lots of time outdoors and love looking at the stars in the night sky. This is the first time I have ever seen anything that I could not identify.

Little Falls, NJ

The event lasted about 2.5minutes. They looked like floating candles. They were yellow/orange in color. They moved a steady slow rate until out of sight. The objects never broke their V shaped formation. They never changed course. There altitude was constant. There were other aircraft visible in the sky at different altitudes and different headings. The objects made no sound. Best regards Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Skovlunde (Denmark) · Denmark

I entered my livingroom just around 11 pm on the 17th of May this year(2014) to close the curtains, when I noticed a bright red-ish orange light gliding over the sky outside. I thought it was strange, as jetliners usually have green and red lights, and white headlights, never orange. It made me move closer to the windows, and here I discovered that there was not only one, but multiple of these red-ish orange lights gliding silently over the sky. They were flying with the wind from north to south, and were not making a single sound. I counted 4, before turning around and yelling for my mother to come have a look. When we both got outside, I saw that there were 3 more light, just behind the 4 first. My mother, amazed and intrigued, told me to get the binoculars, and I ran inside to grab them and took them with me up to the second floor to have a closer look. But they didn't help much, as even through the binoculars, the objects just appeared to be orange lights with a red center. I couldn't see any shape or other characteristics. While up on the second floor, I saw an 8th object following much further behind the other 7, and taking a slightly different direction. It's impossible for me to say how big or how far up the lights were, but they appeared much bigger than the stars, and they were up high enough to enter the few clouds there were further to the south. May 17, 2014 · 10:48 PM · FIREBALL

Warrenton, MO

Three orange "fireballs" were seen glowing in the southern sky. They were in a triangle formation: two lights above and one to the left, in the middle, equally spaced. All three moved across the sky headed to the west. During this time, the one further to the left "flickered" & disappeared. The other two lights stayed the same equal distance apart and then the bottom light "flickered" out also. The light at the top continued to move westward and then "flickered" out too. Estimated elevation 6,000 feet. No unusual sounds were heard. Source of report indicates that the date of the incident is approximate. PD

Largo, FL

I saw a fireball in the sky about 10:05 pm moving west toward the beach. It was moving perfectly horizontal. It was not a plane or meteor. It was moving slightly faster than a plane. It looked as of it were on fire with yellow, orange and red colors. I watched it for maybe 2 minutes. At about the time it appeared over the beach area it suddenly was gone.

Lindstrom, MN

Witnessed a fairly large orange/yellow fireball which seemed very close over the north sky of Lindstrom, MN. I immediately took out my cell phone to record, but it didn't appear on the screen even though a much dimmer star to its left showed up. At first I thought it was a plane on fire, but then it started elevating and curved its direction roughly 45 degrees. Even at its greatest distance I could still see the flickering which closest resembled fire. There was no sound emitted at all.

MYSELF AND FOUR OTHER PEOPLE SAW THESE - THERE WERE AT LEAST 10-13 AND MAYBE MORE BALLS OF FIRE MOVING SLOWLY ACROSS THE TREETOPS ABOVE LAKE TARA, VILLA RICA, GA, AT 9 PM SAT MAY 17TH FROM EAST TO SOUTH... THEY MADE NO NOISE AND IT WAS SILENT WITH A CLOUDLESS DARK SKY AND NO MOON. STANDING ON MY BALCONY, THE FIREBALLS MOVED AT EVEN INTERVALS APPEARING OUT OF THE TALL PINE TREES ON THE LEFT AND DISAPPEARING BEHIND THE TALL PINES ON THE RIGHT, TRAVELING SLOWLY JUST BEYOND THE BOAT DOCK, THEY APPEARED TO BE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SMALL AIRCRAFT, BUT NO SOUND EMANATING FROM THEM. LOOKING LIKE FLAMES, MY CAMERA SHOWS THEM TO BE ROUND. ONE PICTURE WAS TAKEN WITH THE ZOOM. THE OTHER PICTURE ENLARGED ON A COMPUTER SHOWS A FIREBALL WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE A CAPITAL LETTER "N" IN THE MIDDLE. THREE PEOPLE SAW THESE FROM THIS ADDRESS. A PHONE CALL WAS MADE TO A NEARBY NEIGHBOR AND TWO OTHER WITNESSES AT THAT ADDRESS SAW THEM ALSO.

I'm pretty sure it was a meteor, but it was very slow moving. It came up from the tree lines to the right of the road very suddenly, and I thought it was a firework, but it hit the point in the sky that it looked like it would descend or blow up, but it them moved to the left across the road in a slow straight line. Giving off a tale very much like a comet does, except you could see it seem to be breaking apart and leaving a beautiful trail behind it, it then disappeared behind the trees on the other side of the road. But it seemed almost too low in the sky that when I was driving under it it did not seem much higher than the trees it just flew over. That sky was dark, the moon had not come up yet, and it was actually beautiful.

Winnipeg (Canada), MB · Canada

On May 14, 2014 at 9:50pm (CST) I had noticed two orange balls of light in the sky, just hovering in one spot (40-45 degrees in the southwest sky in Winnipeg) and not moving. They also had an orange aura around them. I watched the objects for about 30 seconds and then watched the ball on the left move up a bit, with the other ball of light immediately following around one second later. The orange lights moved up for about three seconds and then fizzled out quickly. Lights appeared orange in color but have a whitish tinge in photos (shot with iPhone 5).
