We had barbequed a turkey at my folks place southeast of Spokane, WA. Most of my family was there, including two sisters, two B-i-l’s, mom, dad (skeptic) and me. My two sons had gone home to Washington earlier in the day. Well, I like an occasional cigarette after dinner and Tim, my skeptical brother-in-law is a confirmed addict. We went out on the back porch to smoke after dinner. It was very dark, very clear, and cold. I happened to look up and saw a white circular light/object moving from west to east and very high up (seemed to be anyway.) This light was very much like one I’d seen about 10 years ago in Fall City, WA. (reported to NUFORC) but seemed higher up. If I hold my hand straight up and away, the object would have been about 1/8th of an inch or so wide. Much bigger than any star. Once again it appeared to be a weird, “confined” light. I immediately shouted “look at that” and pointed at it. Tim looked up and didn’t say anything, but he wa! s watching. He saw it. The light approached a smaller, less well-defined white light that looked like a big star. My first thought was “satellite” but the moving object seemed too big for that. Then it slowed down and seemed to merge with the smaller light, then they both changed direction to the south and poof, they disappeared. Several observations: It was much larger than any star in the sky and once again it was that weird, seemingly confined white light. Not terribly bright, but very obviously moving. If I pick a spot on the ceiling of my office, while sitting in my chair, the object would appear to have moved about 1 foot across the ceiling/starfield, if that makes sense. When we first saw it, it was moving, once again, in what seemed a purposeful way (we’ve discussed this before) from west to east. Tim saw it almost immediately after I did and we both saw it slow down and approach another light/object that was similar in color, but appeared smaller – maybe ½ the size. They came together and became a single light/object – no size change. Once they merged together, they turned but not in an immediate, 90 degree turn that is often described and seems physically impossible. This was more gradual, as though going around a corner, but a sharp corner. In the previous ceiling example, it would’ve executed the turn over just a couple of inches. Then it was moving to the south. While we were both staring at it, it just blinked out. Gone. We waited a bit, looking, but no other objects appeared to be moving. I asked him “you saw that didn’t you!” He said “yeah, I did….and it was weird.” He was obviously taken aback. Not quite shaken really, but definitely weirded out. I can’t tell you how happy I was to have someone else see it. We went back in and I told the group around table that we’d seen a UFO! We'd all had a couple of drinks and they all jeered a bit, of course, but I think that Tim’s behavior caught them off guard. They know him very, very well and know he’d be jeering too if it hadn’t been quite a sight. It was that, alright. I checked on the ISS and it was in the sky, but much later that night. I also check flightaware, etc., there were airliners up of course, but this wasn’t an airliner. Airplanes don’t slow down that way and then execute a quite sharp turn. It was almost an instantaneous 90 deg. turn, but not quite. No noise of course. Don’t know what it was, but for now at least, we know it was a UFO. I don’t know if these things are extraterrestrial or not, but I would sure like to know. I need to report to Nurforc and will do so tonight. Should’ve called Peter D. before now, but was very busy and oddly, I didn’t t! hink to do it immediately, nor did either of us think of trying to pull out a phone. It was one of those things where we were both sort of stunned by what we were seeing. I’ll give it more thought and file a report with Nuforc and Mufon tonight.

They were orange, they made no sound. They came from the northwest and traveled to the southeast direction. They appeared one at a time and seemed to come from a low altitude and as they traveled they seemed to go higher then disappear.

Driving on I-85 North my husband and I saw a glowing blue circular object fall from the sky. Not a shooting start. I have seen one of those. Hard to explain, of course, but it was glowing similar to the moon. It had a bluish white center with a pretty darker blue ring. Seemed to fall in a circular motion (like something being thrown) rather than straight out of the sky.

Was driving east on route 302, and spotted a red, green, (I know its Christmas but this is NO hoax...) and blue flashing lights… Watched it from the lake edge for about a half hour with and without binoculars...Lights were flashing very quickly, appeared once or twice to expel something from the lights...through binoculars it is obviously a small object hovering anywhere from 200-600 feet up. What I dont know is WHAT the HECK that was. I've seen some weird shit in my life, but that one, friend, takes the cake. It was moving up and down, left and right in a slow and deliberate motion… I apologize in advance for the quality. Oh, and for a short time the neighbor's dog was going INSANE barking at it. Also, it appears this particular object is, as far as I can tell, round(ish?) and about the size of a minivan. Hard to tell with all the flashing. Heading back out to get pictures and hopefully not get abducted in the process… Not far from Betty and Barney country out here... I'm a 37 year old male btw, and I wouldn't waste my time making up internet stories.

I was out early morning on Christmas Eve. I walked down to the fence of the Lade and i had turned back as the gate stopped me from going further. As i turned back i seen a glowing object in the sky being so early in the morning i wouldn't think anyone was playing with a drone being the holidays also. When i took out my phone to look i was able to zoom in and see past its bright white lights it was a circle shaped floating object that appeared to be spinning quickly and it had strange markings on its face. To make sure i took pictures of the moon and the object for comparison so know one could say its the moon to this day i don't know what it is but i don't know it wasn't a chinese lantern or a plane it was something else.

Myself and my 2 daughters had walked out to leave, i looked at the mountians behind our house and saw the edge of the mountian was lite up bright from a light. I quickly realized this was a beam of light coming down from a larger light. It was so bright you could see the trees that it was lighting up. The girls got scared so we leave and as we are getting on the intersrate which is between my house and the mountians i start to look for the light source and as the mountian comes in to view there is a round ship with white lights around it, it's just perfectly hovering there over this section of trees, we look as long as we can until its out of site...."my husband and i are going to try to get to the area and check it"

This evening the night sky is very clear and lit by a near full moon. At around 0009hrs., I was looking toward the south and noticed a bright object that appeared to be a bright star. This was not all that unusual other than the fact that in the city, almost no stars are visible at this time due to the lights and the moon. Still, I assumed it was the light of an airliner flying north. But then the light, which did not appear to be moving, disappeared like someone turned off the light switch. The light was not an unusual color; maybe a redish white. I kept an eye on this spot in the sky and noticed that about 7 minutes later, a light appeared in the same spot but this time it was much dimmer and a deep red. This light began blinking in a pattern not normally seen on aircraft. It would blink 3 times rapidly then disappear for around 3 seconds and blink rapidly again 3 times. This continued for about a minute without moving then disappeared again. About one minute later it appeared again as a solid red light for a few seconds before diappearing again. I had to move from my vantage point after this and was no longer able to be sure of the exact spot so I can't be sure if it ever reappeared. There were at least 3 other airplanes in the vicinity that all appeared normal and not like this.

We were walking last evening down the road to the village park in New Denver. The sky was very bright from the full moon. I could see the lake in front of me and the mountains across the lake. The mountains are the Valhalla mountains. I saw a bright red circle just above the mountain peak North East of the New Denver glacier. I walk this way almost every night but had never seen this before. I know the usual planets that are in the sky and this was not where there is a planet. The circle was not moving, just hanging in the sky. The circle was very red and bright. This is a very high mountain range that has been designated a Federal wildlife park. You can only get there by boat or helicopter. I can't imagine anyone would be up on a rugged mountain top in this much snow. There are no roads. The circle was not attached to the ground. My friend tried to take a picture but didn't think it would show up because of the light of the moon. This circle was bigger than the stars, and much brighter and closer. The lake is 3/4 of a mile across at this point and the mountain starts rising not too far from the shore. We looked at the circle for about 20 minutes and then it disappeared suddenly. Just wasn't there any more. A minute or so before it disappeared, I saw what looked like a satellite pass over to the north of the circle quite a ways away. I feel there might be pictures that were taken by the satellite as it was quite close.

I observed a round pulsing object that was bright orange and glowing. It left no trail nor emitted sound. I first noticed the object in clear skies at 9 pm at night facing West/North West at 295 degrees. The object was slowly traveling straight down followed by a leveling off curve to the left then level horizontal for a distance. During the leveling off curve and horizontal movement, the object slowed dramatically and at one point was almost no longer moving. The pulsing orange light may have been caused by a rotation of the object. The edges were fuzzy and the shape seemed to change with the pulsing. I did not have a camera at the time and I went inside to get me wife to see it. When we returned, it was no longer visible. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and found him to be both eloquent, and sober-minded, about his sighting. We suspect that he is a highly qualified witness. PD

On Monday December 17th, I was sitting in my car in a parking lot eating something quickly before my next appointment. When I looked up at the sky I noticed a plane and a distance behind it I noticed two silver round objects. The two silver round objects were moving very quickly, I almost got the feeling that they were playing around as they were circling each other in and out and then they both quickly speed and went northwest and disappeared into the clouds. One reappeared and went eastbound, the same direction the plane was headed. It happened so fast I tried to reach for my phone but couldn’t get it on time. I’ve tried to search on line to see if anyone else reported the sighting but have found nothing, I’m especially curious because it was around lunch time in brought day light.

There's basically a meteor shower going on at the moment, plus there's lightning. My Nan and I were looking for meteors, when I saw a slow moving object move East to North. It then stopped, started flashing and disappeared into the clouds above. Somewhat chilling experience.

Sitting outside with our dogs we live in a rural area in the mountains the sky was very clear full of stars. I was looking up at the stars when I noticed a brilliant sphere where the stars were. It then fell down somewhat, moved across the sky very fast and dropped as though if fell out of the sky over a hill.

I sent report to your email. I hope that works, my tablet won't copy/paste. ((name deleted, Bozeman, MT. We spoke this evening. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS; ORIGINAL E-MAILED REPORT I walked out onto our patio with my daughter and immediately noted how bright Venus was that morning. I showed my grand daughter how, just before sunrise, she could use her hand to measure from the sun to a point in the sky and at noon that day find and see Venus at mid day. A few minutes later I was looking directly overhead to see the big dipper when I noticed a very bright object to the north. I thought at first it might be the ISS, but it was travelling almost directly north to south. After maybe a minute it suddenly became very dim, but I could still see it clearly. About this time my daughter lost interest. Just a few seconds after the object became dim it began to accelerate faster than any satellite I have watched. When the object was directly over head still travelling very fast it performed a perfect 450 degree turn and sped away to the east and vanished. When the object performed the perfect counter clockwise circle plus 90 degrees it either left a vapor trail or it was so fast that my eyes were seeing what you see when a child twirls a sparkler. This event happened about one hour before sunrise. I would speculate that the object was reflecting sunlight and became dim as it reduced altitude. When helicopters patrol transmission lines and reach a point where the line makes a 90 degree turn the pilot will do a circular 450 degree pattern returning to the end point and continue down the line. This object performed the exact maneuver at an incredible speed. I would also note that the circular turn made by this object was absolutely symmetrical. I have been a true UFO sceptic all my life and have never had the remotest inclination to believe in them until this event on Tuesday. This incident occurred the morning of November 29, 2018, at approximately 12:10 a.m. and its duration lasted until approximately 12:23 a.m.. I walked to the back door to lock up and noticed an extremely bright object low to the horizon in the Eastern sky. I could determine this due to my position on my back deck which is 10 feet from the ground facing due East. I’m 6 feet 3 inches in height so my view was approximately sixteen feet from the ground. I looked around the sky to compare stars and the Moon. There was a cluster of stars to the upper right of the object but much dimmer and higher in altitude. I looked to the left and saw another grouping of stars of the same dimness and approximate altitude as the others. The Moon was to my immediate left. Larger and brighter than the object I was viewing but it was much closer in appearance and lower to the horizon than the bright object. To give a perspective as to the bright object I was viewing’s distance from the Moon, I can only estimate as follows: The Moon (appearing 7 to 10 times larger than the object in question due to it’s perspective from where I was standing) would be (in distance) approximately 10 moons side by side. The object I was viewing appeared larger than a star, was much sharper in appearance and displayed characteristics unlike a star. I went into the living room and retrieved my cell phone. I returned to the deck and took several pictures. I didn’t know whether I was operating the camera correctly and feared I wouldn’t get any images of worth. Because of this fear I went into the living room to review the pictures to see if any of them came out. While in the process of doing so my wife walked through the room towards the kitchen. I said to her that I captured a photo of something odd in the sky and if she’d mind going to the deck to see if it was still there. She did so, paused and said for me to come outside with her. She pointed out the object I’d seen and said, “Is that what you saw?” I said yes but the object was now higher and to the upper right in the eastern sky. She said, “ Do you see that smaller bright light moving around it?” I looked where she pointed and I did see it. The original object (in it’s new higher position) had a quick moving smaller light moving erratically to it’s right. The smaller light wasn’t as bright as the larger object but I could see it moving in various quick directions around the object. It would rapidly move toward the larger object then away from it. After approximately 30 seconds or more the smaller light was no longer visible but the larger object was. Note: I’d left the phone in the living room where I was reviewing the photos when my wife called me to the door. I failed to take the phone with me when she called me outside. As a result, I was unable to get pictures of what we were now both seeing. Once I zoomed in on the object, I captured in the pictures it no longer appeared to be a very bright light. In the enlarged photo the object appears egg shaped then circular, slightly larger at the bottom than the top having a dark blue marking near the top and toward the bottom. It then began moving rapidly in a westerly direction then back to an easterly direction. The lighter blue body is surrounded in a almost closed circle that’s darker blue and to our eyes had a hue or haze surrounding the outer skin. We have spoken via telephone with the witness on several occasions, and exchanged several e-mails with him, as well. Based on that exchange of information, we suspect that the source of the report is a highly skilled, and highly reliable, witness. PD
