2 round orange circles an equal distance apart in the sky parallel to each other. They appeared to be in the direction of Carolina Beach, NC, possibly over the ocean. The first light flashed and slowly faded. The second light flashed and slowly faded. Then the first light flashed and faded again. This all lasted about 1 minute total.

Garden City, SC
Last night I walked onto balcony of condo and saw three large orange lights come on, one two three in a row. We had seen this phenomena three years ago here. I called to my family to come see the lights. Within a few minutes successive large red/orange fireballs would illuminate and extinguish. Then we noticed small blinking lights, numerous, up to ten at a time moving all over the sky in the area of the big orange lights. All of this activity seemed to be from Garden City pier to Myrtle Beach State Park and mostly over ocean. Any number of arrangement of lights were seen up to a large perfectly shaped chevron shape formed by eight of the big fireballs. The fireballs appeared as groups of three and four tightly spaced as well. At some intervals between fireball appearances there were as much as 5 to 10 solid minutes of small sparkling lights moving for miles up and down the coast. I am employed in aviation and I am! reasonably convinced that no aircraft were seen. The appearance as well as the silence had more of a ghostly feel than of nuts and bolts aircraft. Many people were on beach so im sure others witnessed.

Fillmore, CA
Was driving back home in Fillmore from work around 8:40 pm on Sunday night. I parked my car on the side of the street when i saw a strange purple/red light high in the sky. The color was unlike any I have seen before, it was almost glistening slightly like a star would and it also emitted with its colors like a fireball, with what i believe to be blue and red, (giving it the purple color maybe?) and it was moving too slow be to a plane. Actually, my brother told me that he and his friends also saw the same object but from a different part of town but they were much closer and he said that it was reddish-purple and round like a circle. While I was parked watching this object it got behind a tree that was blocking my view of it, even though i was still able to see some of it through the tree leaves. After a few minutes i got out of my car and walked in front of the tree because i hadn't seen the object move past it. By the time i got there it was gone. I never saw it "leave," it just vanished even though I had kept my eyes glued to see through the leaves and the empty space around the tree.

Prescott, AZ
Very large and clear, low in the sky, but too high to be fireworks, too low and quiet to be a plane. Too low to have been a falling star. Glowing, red fire ball shot across the sky and then faded out instantly. We confirmed with the witness that the sighting was in the evening, and we have amended the time to reflect that fact. PD

Wayland, NY
At approximately 11:20 pm Eastern on June 21, 2014, I witnessed what I can only describe as an orange fireball moving across the sky at a moderate speed. I was in my back yard in Wayland, NY, just south of the Finger Lakes, Hemlock and Canandaigua Lakes specifically. I noticed the fireball when it was approximately 60 degrees above the horizon. It moved on what seemed to be a straight trajectory from the northeast to the southwest. As the fireball moved to the southwest, it remained fairly regular in brightness and shape until it was past my location, when it dimmed until I could no longer see it. After a few seconds, it reappeared a bit smaller and less intense and then it appeared to “flash” as a silvery mark in the sky. Eventually it moved far enough that I lost it against the ambient light nearer the southwest horizon. The sky was very clear and the fireball was very bright compared to the stars in the sky tonight. The fireball seemed to be exactly th! at, a fireball- its shape was not totally regular, it appeared to have actual flames, not just a glowing light. It was much larger than any star or planet as seen with the naked eye but smaller than the moon. It made no sound that I could hear apart from any other noise this evening. My initial reaction was to record the fireball with my phone. The video does not show nearly the amount of detail or intensity that I was able to observe, but does provide an approximate record of how long it was visible. My second thought was that it was a sky lantern, but after just a few seconds it was evident that that it was too bright, moving too fast, and moving laterally instead of vertically. I have spent too much time camping or at the lake to think this was a lantern. After it was clear that I wouldn’t be able to see the fireball again, I called NUFORC and filed this report.

23:15 Redish/orange orb flickering Dropped flair like objects Silent Didn't have characteristics of plane Moved N to W to S (Initial report I wrote down right after sighting on my iPhone) Got dropped off at my house when something in the sky caught my attention. It looked like someone had shot off a firework but there was no noise and the object did not disappear/fade away like a normal firework does. After realizing that it wasn't a firework I kinda assumed it was a flare of some sort due to the brightness of the object. I quickly realized that it wasn't a flare when it the main object suddenly dropped mini "flares" of its own. I immediately alerted my friends to get out of the car to see the object. It clearly wasn't a plane; no noise, no blinking red/white/green lights. This sighting lasted for about 3 minutes. The object was orange/reddish in nature as like a ball of fire. It flickered not like anything I had seen before. The object was circular in shape in the way of a fireball would assume. The way it moved seemed like it as gliding across the sky by some alternative means. The object moved from the North to a Southern direction. The height of the object didn't seem to high or low in the sky, relatively speaking. Definitely at a planes altitude. Hard to judge considering it was at night and nothing in the sky to reference to. There was only 1 main object (possible flares/objects being ejected from it that disappeared). Planes fly over my house/the area all the time. I can tell when a plane is going overhead. I nor my friends that witnessed this as well do not have any aviation background. However I would consider myself proficient at plane identification (civilian and military).

Lawrenceville, GA
It stop flashing disappeared moved to the right and started flashing again. Really far out, could easily be mistaken for a flashing star. At some point I saw another pair of red flashining lights go really fast flying to the left. I'm a bit direction challenged but I'd say the flashing one was moving towards the south and the other one north. The time and date in the original report were flawed, and we have changed them. The source of the report elects to remain totally anonymous, and provides no contact information, so we are unable to confirm the time and date. Possible hoax, or possible sighting of a twinkling star?? PD

Pico Rivera, CA
On Saturday June 21, 2014, at about 21:30 (9:30pm), I came outside the front of my house to throw the trash out in the garbage cans which we have on the side of the house when I happened to look up facing west towards Los Angeles. I live in a city that is about 11 miles southeast of downtown L.A., on the edge of the San Gabriel Valley. They were 10 orange-yellow fireballs about the size, from my perspective, of a small fireball. They appeared to be in a loose formation at about 3-4000 elevation. Where I live, our house is under one of the direct flight paths to LAX so many commercial airlines are always over our home. These "fireballs" had no discernible wings or other aviation lights on them. Four fireballs were leading the "pack" in a loose line and then the next four appeared to be in a square like formation with 2 fireballs trailing behind in a loose line. They appeared to be traveling slowly and kinda lightly "bobbing" up ! and down. I knocked on my neighbor's house and he came out and witnessed the same thing. The people across the street, who like to sit outside their house in the evening, also witnessed this. One of the young men who was sitting outside had noticed it right away, but did not want to draw any attention to it for fear of being ridiculed. It wasn't until I and my neighbor were outside and talking excitedly, did we attract their attention. I tried to take a picture with my cell phone but I have a flip phone and didn't take it. Also the people across the street were unsuccessful. Earlier in the week…on Thursday, June 19, this same type of fireball was reported on our local KCBS affliate here in Los Angeles. Someone had captured it on the phone and sent it in. This was in Orange county in the evening but instead of 10 fireballs, there were two fireballs which appeared to merge into one fireball. After about ten minutes the fireballs slowly "went out" or dark. They were still there, I'm sure, but they turned off the lights. The direc tion they appeared to be going was east towards the San Gabriel mountains. I have reported this kinda of sighting before on this website about 2 years ago, and at about the same time of year- late June. (( Video link: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/video/10285643-mysterious-lights-in-the-sky-spotted-above-oc-camp-pendleton/#.U6oGpLc8a_I.gmail PD)) ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hello! I am sending you this video of "lights" that were seen over the Orange county area near Camp Pendelton last Thursday (June 19). This was televised on our local KCBS station. If for some reason this link does not work go one their website and click on their video link. I am sending it because I believe it is directly linked to my sighting on June 21st in Pico Rivera. Only instead of 2 fireballs (lights) I saw 10. I did report this on your website. Strange as this sounds, I have been waiting for them to come back because I reported my "first" ufo sighting about 2 years ago on June 29. Only then it was a huge fireball that "slowly" went out until it "disappeared." I had a "feeling" they would be "back" and about this time of year- late June. Sure enough, here they are again only more numerous and in other locations. I did call the local authorities (sheriffs) who told me to call the Air Force and the same KCBS station that had initially reported the Orange county lights but they could not do anything because I had no photos or video of it, the same with the local KNBC station. Again, you had to have video or photos. Again, thanks for all your hard work. http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/video/10285643-mysterious-lights-in-the-sky-spotted-above-oc-camp-pendleton/#.U6oGpLc8a_I.gmail END ADDENDUM))

Fryeburg, ME
While Driving on Route 5 in Fryeburg, Maine, I witnessed 6 orange orbs in the sky to my left. While pulling over to get my camera out, 4 of them simply vanished. I was able to film 2 of them for a good minute or more. There was nothing in between the two orbs, I am positive it wasn't from planes. Also, in the video you see one of them simply fade out and the last remaining orb then starts moving around erratically, and I could not keep my camera on it.

June 22nd 2014 approximately 9 p.m. I walked outside to get in my truck and go pick up some food and I saw a light in the sky and I thought to myself that's too big to be a star. Is that an airplane? No it looks like something is on fire. Is it moving? Slowly. It looks like it is rising. As I am standing with my face southwest the object was moving southeast and rising. As I am getting my phone out to get video of this, another one appears to the right. I took some video, and as I was putting the phone away, I saw another one appear from the right, so I started video again I did not video very long because I figured it was not picking it up very well. When I put the video on my computer and enhanced, it looked round, yellow in the middle and red around the outside like a fireball. I am putting the videos together on windows live movie maker and posting to youtube. The quality is bad. I am hoping someone or I will be able to enhance the video better and get a better look. http://youtu.be/eClbM1F6sPU ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) You have a double entry for the Torrance, California sighting which occurred 6/22/2014 at 2100. Actually, it may have occurred 6/21/2014. It was reported at 01:15 on 6/22/2014; so it couldn't have occurred at 21:00 on 6/22/2014, unless there is a typo ((END ADDENDUM))

Beeton (Canada), ON · Canada
Driving home from work heading south on 15th side road, six random orange "fireballs" appeared from the west and formed a line slowly floating to the north. Slowly fading out one by one. Then a minute later the same thing happened with 5 more fireball like objects forming a triangular pattern. Again slowly fading out, during this time a plane flew past the objects so I could tell they were not a plane. They were moving extremely slowly, once they started heading north.

10:51 pm Saw a bright orange light coming from the east. Began as a bright light, and slowly got smaller and light became less visible. Slowly became invisible for about 5 seconds. Then became bright again and continued to travel east at a dimmer brightness before disappearing. Had 2 military men present and neither knew what it could be. It looked like a fireball and transitioned into something that looked like a "birdie." I tried video-taping, but my iphone wouldn't pick it up.

Geneva, NY
We were camping by the Seneca Lake in Sampson State Park south of Geneva, NY. Campground is an old large military base. Red light (much larger than any star) appeared in the northern horizon (above the tree line). It was moving closer toward us. There was NO sound! It came close to being overhead and started turning toward West. As it turned, the large red light slowly disappeared, making it apparent that it was only pointing forward from the object. The object seemed to be on a circular path. In about ten minutes the same object appeared in the same spot in the sky and flying the same path as the first time only this time staying little further North. This happened two more times. This red light was never blinking or changing in any way except for the disappearance. To all of us watching it seemed that the object was moving in a slightly fluctuating speed although keeping a steady path. The overall speed was that of a helicopter. It was a clear night and the camp was a quiet place, yet none of us could hear any sound.

O'Fallon, MO
Heading eastbound on hwy 40/61, at 8:45pm CST, I notice an orange flickering light coming westbound, off in the distance approximately 1 mile away. It was following the highway. As it got closer I see it is an orange fireball. I stuck my head out the window as it flew directly over my head, about 10 seconds from first sight, and at the hwy DD/Winghaven exit and I look up at it. As it was coming towards me as well as when it was directly over me it appeared to be an orange fireball with a black center. It was flying very low. As I was driving at the time, I could only look up at it for a second or two, looked back at the road, then looked back at it out my driver side window. I did not see the orange fire from behind, but only the shadow of a craft before I had to look away again. I have heard of the orange fireballs on C2Cam, or else I would have thought this was a plane on fire. I looked a again for it behind me and saw nothing. From first sight to end do sighting was about 20 secs.

Detroit Metro is that direction, so I thought nothing of it. The two objects passed over my head slowly, no blinking lights, at the same speed and kept the same distance from each other. About two minutes later another appeared from the same direction, this one I got phone footage of. After thinking I saw some weird shit, I saw another emerging from the same direction through the trees. This one moved slower and didnt seem to keep a steady direction. It didnt pass over head like the others then what seemed like only two blocks away it seemed to somewhat implode, then turn to dust and slowly just disappear. I got footage of this also but the lighting totally sucks. I ran inside and awoke my girlfriend who thought I was just crazy, and sure as shit he comes another, it also passed over our house and out of site as we watched through a window. I sat outside for another hour waiting for something else to occur but nothing happened.

There were 4 same distance apart in rough v-shaped formation. Heading north west. Unable to determine altitude. However, movement was slow. Eventually all 4 altered course 90 degrees towards south west. Each disappeared one at a time after course change. Appeared to have flame associated with them (visual distortion). Thought may be hot air balloon at first .

Carlsbad/Oceanside, CA
I was leaving my moms house in Encinitas and saw 1 just hovering and I thought it was just a plane coming in to Palomar Airport. Then as I was driving I noticed that it wasn't moving. As I got closer to my home, it was still in the same position, which to me looked like it was about 500 ft high and over the beach in front of Camp Pendleton Marine Base and when I got home I began to film with my cellphone. About 5 minutes into filming, it started to pulsate or blink very faintly and after a few seconds another orb showed up. They were both hovering there for awhile and then the first one faded away. After a couple minutes the second began to blink and the first one just appeared in its original position. They repeated this a few times and after 17 minutes of filming they both slowly faded away. From the time I left my moms to the time they left was about an hour. But they could have been doing that for hours because one of them was there when I looked in the sky while getting into my car at my moms.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
I was driving home late from work (around 11:00 PM), when something caught my eye off to the right. I had just crossed over the Alicia Parkway bridge that leads to Rancho Santa Margarita Blvd. to make a right turn, and there it was: a glowing orange ball of light. It was moving at a steady pace, parallel with the road I was on, so I decided to follow it. The object was large- I estimate it must have been the size of a house. I signaled it with my headlights. I pulled over to view it and kept following it as far as I could, until it passed over the hills and was out of sight. I probably frightened the car in front of me, because I was following them and flashing my brights until they turned into a residential neighborhood. At that point, the UFO was out of sight, so I turned and drove home. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
