On 7-29-15 at approximately 2020, I was returning to my apartment on the 16th floor walkway of our high rise condo building and noted that the sky was partly cloudy with cumulus clouds, the almost full moon was out, and a few stars visible. I then noted in my peripheral vision another bright object in the northern sky, at about 70 degrees elevation. Initially, I assumed it was Jupiter, being yellow-white in color and bright, but this object’s magnitude (brightness) was actually somewhere between Jupiter and Venus when I looked directly at it. Then I realized that Jupiter/Venus had been in conjunction in the western sky lately and could not be the object. I am also familiar with the appearance of stars, other planets, and the time of year they are visible. This was different, in that the object appeared as a steady orb and to my surprise was moving downward in a northerly linear/ballistic direction with relation to the building overhang. There might have been some slight wobble side to side, but being familiar with auto- kinesis, I could not rule this out as the cause. I looked to see if the object had any lesser peripheral lighting such as aircraft position/navigation or anti-collision lights, but none were apparent. I thought it strange if this was a landing light of an airplane that it is usually not totally and consistently visible at that angle when moving away (plus it tends to waiver due to aircraft movement and atmospherics). I could not tell the exact altitude of the object, but it seemed as high as an aircraft might traverse or maybe even higher. It was visible while moving for perhaps 20 seconds before disappearing behind a cloud and not re-emerging on either side. Frankly, for lack of a better description, it! reminded of the scenes from the movie “Close Encounters of a Third Kind”, which depict the spacecraft crisscrossing the sky at altitude, albeit in this case at a little slower speed. A friend suggested that it might have been a commercially available drone flown by an individual, but it seems unlikely as it was at least at about 2-3 thousand feet in altitude in order to pass behind the prevailing cumulus clouds (which were forming about 1-2 thousand feet at the time), and they would have probably lost track and control of it. Additionally, the lighting was not pinpoint, diode, or laser like. Strangely, no noise was noted, which would usually be heard from an aircraft/airliner, as the back side of the building is normally quiet. Furthermore, the closely adjacent low mountain ridge (only a couple of hundred feet away) and our building form sort of a bowl for collecting sound. Surface winds were light and would not have distracted much from any sound. I also thought maybe it could be a weather balloon being illuminated at high altitude where the sun was still striking it, since it was only 2020 and the sun sets later in summer, so I cannot totally rule this out. I do not know what the prevailing high altitude winds were at the time. However, I do recall when I previously observed such balloons and even satellites in the past, that they tend to oscillate in brightness due to the changing sun reflection off the envelope or shifting hard surfaces. This is the first time I have experienced something like this in all my 58 years and believe that if others in the east Oahu area of Hawaii Kai (City & County of Honolulu) were looking in the same direction at the same time, they would have easily seen it. I am contemplating contacting the Honolulu Star Advertiser local newspaper on this matter to see if any others reported this. I now have a greater appreciation for those who say they didn’t have time to take a photo or get other witnesses, as I was just outside my apartment and briefly contemplated rushing to get my wife and son to come out, but now realize that if I had done so, it would not have been in time and I would have missed part of the event. With respect to my background, I have a past that includes aviation (private pilot single engine land & sea rating, licensed FAA aircraft mechanic with ratings for airframe & powerplant, former FAA air traffic controller Tower trainee, including National Weather Service observer training, did some aviation accident investigation for worldwide aircraft insurers through AirClaims in Hawaii & Alaska, and have a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University-which included coursework in flight physiology). I have also been an avid amateur astronomer since childhood, having built and owned various telescopes and taken several formal college level courses in the subject (including astrophotography). I most recently worked the last 23 years as an acute inpatient psychiatric RN at a major hospital in Honolulu after getting my nursing degree. I also completed some graduate level education in nursing. Given the aforementioned, I believe that I am somewhat familiar with aerial and astronomy phenomena and have been able to be clinically objective in my appraisal of anything I have seen, but this episode was unusual and unexplained. July 29, 2015, at approximately 530 pm. I witnessed a strange phenonmena. At this time I lived by the san Bernardino mountains ant attended San Bernardino valley college. There was a 50 mile distance between my home and school. I park at a nearby field by my school, note that I am parked facing the san bernardinotn. I notice northeast of my vision three bright lights entering the horizon, slowly crossing the mtns. From there it began a steady decline just above my head. It hovered over me for about a half hour. I continued staring at the lights and recorded 3 different videos of this unexplained phenomena. It looked like these lights were connected to something invisible. I don't know what I saw. It was so quiet and it left the same way it arrived. It was about a 45 degree angle on how it went towards me and upward back into the sky. One of my video attempts on this object I record a normal plane flying by over the object. The lights and object itself looked ! as if it decreased altitude so it would not be hit by the plane. This even is the biggest question mark in my life. If you guys can help and somehow work with my videos that would be great. It took me this long to come out with the event because I just didn't know what to do or who can help.

This sighting was July 28, 2015. I was lying on the sidewalk in front of my house admiring the sunset, which is something I often do. I noticed a black, medicine-capsule shaped object flying overhead from East to West. At first, I thought that it was just a balloon, but as I watched it, I changed my mind. I have seen many balloons flying, as most people have. All that I have seen go primarily upwards, and also usually move somewhat horizontally. They usually tend to wiggle a bit and wobble as they fly. This object did not appear to rise upwards at all. It seemed to maintain a completely horizontal movement, and apparently moved in a straight line toward the west. It did not wiggle or wobble at all as a small balloon would. It made no noise at all. I was able to watch it for a minute or two, until it traveled so far into the distance that I couldn't see it anymore. I wasn’t really sure about the size of it, but I recently saw a helicopter in the sky at about the same location in the sky, and about the same time in the evening. The helicopter appeared to be about the same size as the object I saw, as well as about the same altitude, and seemed to move at about the same speed. The thing that I saw was certainly not a helicopter, as it clearly capsule-shaped, as I mentioned, and made not noise at all. I saw something similar about two weeks earlier, that was moving the opposite direction, from West to East, at about the same time of evening. I ran into the house to get binoculars, but it was gone when I returned.

I would say it was cigar shaped but they are two white lights which seem to move on a pole but I couldn't see anything there. The two lights will dim and brighten sometimes one goes out. I saw what seemed to be a star and then it started moving. What seemed to drop behind the Horizon. I saw this for the first time around 2001 but they were red. People were stopping and yelling at random people saying, "Are you seeing this!" The next day Nasa said it was a space station and we all know that a space station that can go from one side of the horizon to the other in one second is much faster then sound. I never saw the one that follows. The star I SAW IN OLYMPIA seemed like the red light I saw Years ago in Cleveland. I think it is some kind of depth perception tech. If these are really in space then what we are seeing is at light speed. I don't mean to come off as if I am self centered but this wouldn't have anything to do with me finding the ancient Holy Books would it. In 2012 I saw the Mayan prophecy come true. Kukulcan is real or those lights are some kind of technology.

Tonight, I was arriving home from my night shift, and I saw a shape of a pentagon with lots of lights emitting strong beams. There where six lights that after each beam would stay stronger then the others, making the Pentagon shape. I have seen alot but nothing like this.

At about 5:05 am on the morning of Friday, July 24, 2015, I witnessed something in the sky in the city of Milwaukee, as I was on my balcony looking west across the Milwaukee River. There was an incredible white light that resembled a hand-fan that was opening and then quickly and violently collapsed. The light did not brighten the sky as a whole, just a remote area that was about double the size of a typical full moon. I would guess I witnessed the light at about 35* above the western horizon and my best estimate for direction would be a straight line from about the Hoan bridge towards Potawatomi Casino. The occurrence lasting about a second, left me humbled and dumbfounded. I have since been feverishly trying to identify an explanation for the event, but nothing I have found with internet searches or recall from a college-level introduction astronomy course I took years back have helped me make any sense of the incident. The light collapsing on itself reminded me of television depictions of travel between dimensions I suppose. I cannot say that there isn’t a natural explanation, but it did appear that the light was flat on the bottom (and rounded on the top as it “fanned-out”). Whatever it was that I saw has left quite an impression on me, and I’m certain the awesomeness cannot be fully explained with words.

At about 2:15am on the 24th of July, 2015, my girlfriend and I woke up to an unusually loud sound in the sky. We looked up by our bedroom window and saw the object as it went over the house low in the sky. It was travelling at a slow, deliberate speed that was practically hovering above us. It looked to be a large object at least the size of a jet plane yet the only lights consisted of two bright orange lights at the front and back of the object with no other lights or colors other than orange and glowing. We were suspicious of the object since we live near MacArthur Airport and planes stop landing at about 11:00pm each day. This was 2:15am. The size and close proximity made it a curious sight since it was low to the ground and was the size of a jet, yet a jet would have fallen from the sky at this speed. The sound was nothing we had ever heard before, almost a grinding industrial sound but not a helicopter or a jet plane or small aircraft sound at all.

Standing outside, witnessed a red and blueish object of know distinct shape. It was falling towards earth at a quick rate, to fast for plane yet well (sic. way) too slow for a shooting star. It dropped below a house line and was the last i saw of it. I'm very skeptical of things like this, but this absolutely baffled me. Unexplainable. While observing the sky afterwards in the same direction I saw object I noticed a stationary star like object that was also red and blueish about the size of bigger stars in sky yet strangely different then a star. Also was some weird bright blinking going on once every 30 seconds or so for about 10 mins. This I would see out of corner of my eye why focusing on star like object a little lower. Again Bizzarest (sic. most bizarre) thing I have ever seen. Tryed to take video of star like object with phone as no time to react to first object sighted but is very dark and can't see anything special about it do to low quality

We just finished up doing yard work, & was about to go in the house. I happened to glance up to notice a passing jet airliner @ 8:20 pm. The sun had just went down behind the mountains so it was still real bright out yet. Just up higher & further out to the west of the jet looked like a very bright star to the naked eye. (I'm guessing the jet was heading to Los Angeles by its heading. I'm located 20 miles east of Kingman, Az, on Hwy. 66.) But it was way too bright outside for ANY stars to show. I told my wife to quick grab my field glasses! (We both saw the star) As I looked at the star with my field glasses, and zoomed in on the star, it was very apparent this is no star. This is the hard part... It had no wings, No distinguishable exhaust, just stationary. It glowed as the appearance of the night time moon, but its still very light out, so I guess it was reflecting the sun light. The weird part is, when I zoomed in and focused in on it, it appeared like two 1/2 moons one in front of the other, in other words, picture a 1/2 moon, but then another 1/2 but smaller moon in front of the larger 1/2. Now these were not moons, I have no idea what I was observing just sitting there up in the air not moving. I wonder if the jet that was heading West/Southwest saw it? Or anybody else for that matter. This object does not appear to fit any known UFO sightings I ever heard of?? Any ideas out there? This was not a balloon of any type either. Very Strange.

I was driving and saw a hazey white boomarang-shaped object flying with sun glaring off it sometimes. It was standing tall while flying. It had a little boomerang shape in it and triangle to it. The top of the boomarang was a little bit longer than the bottom. It sorta was featureless. It kinda reminded me of an Angelfish with a longer fin on top than the bottom but had a triangle body with no tail. The top fin was slightly in a diffent angle from the smaller bottom fin. The hazey look to it made it look blurry. I was driving on Cicero looking on the side of Best Buy towards Midway Airport, when I noticed it. I got my camera ready and stuck my arm out when I was parked at a red light. It disappeared right before the second I took the picture like it knew to disappear before I would of got a picture of it. I made a drawing of it on my Wii U art program and posted it on Facebook. I have the photo I took on my cellphone showing a Best Buy Sign right before it disappeared. It look to be as big as a small passenger plane but was super taller like an angelfish. It was almost like watching if like a angelfish if it was flying in the sky but an angelfish wouldn't have sun glaring off it sometime. I was flying from Charlotte to Richmond, and had a window seat. It must have been 30 minutes-1 hour out of Charlotte, while flying over a very big lake that looked like a scar in the ground, when I saw it. It was a small white object. It was hovering, and the plane was passing over it. It wasn't a helicopter, and it was just bellow the clouds, so it couldn't have been a commercial drone. It almost looked like a shark. It was white, and had a small tail fin, which went into an oval shaped body with kind of a dark center. From the small oval shape, it looked like a sideways wing was jutting out (like if a plane was flipping left, and the wing was sticking out at an angle). It did not look very big, and I continued to look at it until our plane passed it entirely. It was moving, but very slowly, slower than cloud speed, and it was just sort of hovering there. I would have taken a picture, but my phone was dead, which is ironic timing. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi Peter, Yes it was around 8:15-8:30 AM. No one but me saw it (that I'm aware of). I was flying by myself and didn't really want to be that freak in the window seat who was trying to get people to look at the UFO haha. It's amazing to me how many reported sightings there are. Walked upstairs looked out my kitchen window and saw 5-6 small deep blue lights with a lighter transparent blue wing or membrane attaching them all together right outside the window it came from the ground up and very quickly flashed in front of the window. No sound or anything definitely not a reflection from any electronics or car lights I'm shocked from seeing this I have no idea what it could be I have never seen anything like it

Ok, I never believed in this stuff! I thought the neighbours had cops on their yard, but once I got up & walked outside it was so bright I had to shield my eyes. It was like an arc across the sky flashing at 30 second intervals. My dog would not even go out in the yard, she stood in front of me, stiff, with her head down. My friends and I sat at the edge of the Cumberland River and watched the stars above, and also looking at the skies (sic. sky's) reflection in the water. No star had a reflection in the water but one. I attempt to seek the star creating the reflection. To my slight right on the opposite bank we were sitting, one of the stars begins to shift oddly in the sky and I immediately let my two friends know that one of the stars was not a star. We kinda freaked out a bit because its flight pattern was abnormal from what we generally are exposed to in the sky. Plus we just learned something! As it reached the near edge of the other side of the river, we got a decent look of the lights. (Well, any view is a decent look.) It was, oddly enough, the shape of a Mercedes Benz symbol minus the circle. All I could explain it as is just three streaks of light coming from one point in the sky as it settles above the trees. It sat there for a while, and then it just went up until it was out of our view. After that, three more followed suite. All were the same shape. There was one of the same shape to our left higher than the others. As time went by, it descended down and just stood still. Felt like we were being monitored, but just slightly. We kept a visual on it the minute we saw it. It stayed with us the longest out of all. About 1:30, we see one of them descend behind the trees with its lights shining brighter and closer than before any of the others. No more were seen afterwards. The sky was quickly covered in clouds around 3:00.

They started out as very shinny lights in the sky, me and a friend where on his balcony and noticed them. When we took a closer look at them they seemed to look like they where growing and shrinking vertically, it was all different colors flashing mostly consisting of green, blue, white and red. They moved like they were flying in formation. One would move and then stop and it kept repeating itself until it eased its way across the sky. Some of them would break formation suddenly and fly somewhere unrelated to its former path. They seemed to be right over Buckley Airforce Base. Things got weird when two very silent jets took off from Buckley Airforce base and never came back from what we saw.

((name deleted)) Apr 13, 2023, 7:01 PM (21 hours ago) to ((e-address deleted)) Approx.. 10 years ago an elongated, fiery red, white, orange, object flew over highway 216, on a heading of Approx.. 080 degrees magnetic, half way between Ivanhoe, Ca. and the Saint Johns river, directly in front of me as I drove my vehicle northbound on highway 216. The horizontally elongated object was quite low and possibly descending slightly at roughly 2000 to 3000 feet agl; it appeared to be on fire and seemed to be trailing fiery debris slightly above and behind it. I could not discern a specific shape only an elongated fiery blob with trailing debris, yet the debris remained connected to the main fiery blob. As the object passed by me I continued north bound and ended up directly behind the object and observed, two, distinct, totally unobscured, features resembling afterburners; One smaller, in the upper debris area and one larger, in the lower elongated main portion of the fiery object. The lower afterburner appeared to be three to four times larger than the upper afterburner, yet they were otherwise identical. It suddenly dawned on me this was some sort of cloaked aircraft accompanied by a chase plane employing cloaking technology. It reminded me of the chase planes I had seen as a youth at Edwards Air Force Base accompanying the XB-70. As I continued north bound the object disappeared behind the foothills and because it was so low I listened for an explosion thinking it might crash but obviously it did not. When I returned home I projected its course of 080 degrees on the sectional chart, over the mountains, and it lead directly to China Lake Naval Air station Air Space.

It was first time being in the town and was out on a late night drive with the boyfriends family when we came across a large ball of light out in a cornfield that was gamma ray green and hovering high as a billboard I asked the locals in the car what that was and they freaked out and said they didn't know there wasn't supposed to be anything out there and they hit the gas peddle and floored it away from there.

We took our dog for a walk, and when we looked up to the sky, we seen something in the sky there was no noise. It looked to be long with five green lights on it. from top to bottom. it lasted for about 45 seconds and then went beyond the tree line where we could not see it any more. while this was happening, all the dogs in the neighborhood were going crazy.
