This evening, my family and I went to Danville, Va, to watch a movie. Upon exiting the theater, my sister pointed out an extremely strange shadow beyond the clouds of a thunderstorm. The enclosed photos show details of an object with extremely sharp edges with protrusions. Judging by the shadow that was visible, I estimate the object to be the size of a Mountain if not larger. Several other patrons were exiting the theater at the same time and noticed the shadow cast on the sky. Once we got in our vehicles, we went to another location in the city to enjoy the afternoon sunset before the thunderstorm got to Danville. Again we observed the shadow. Once home while using Google earth, the direct line of distance to the second sighting location of the shadow is 2.66 miles. Using the Dan River as a sight tool and observing the radar display of the storm cell on the Weather Channel app, I was able to determine the cloud base to be between 10 to 15 miles west of our location. I have lived in extremely mountainous terrain and also visited nearly all major metropolitan cities in the US. With that being said, I have never observed such a shadow being cast in the sky during sunset by either of the two. There are no jagged mountain peaks such as you would think that would cast such a shadow in Virginia, only gently rolling hills. The highest point in Virginia is Mount Rogers at 5,729 feet above sea level. Mount Rogers is approximately 120 miles due west of the location of the second sighting. Again using Google earth, the direction of the shadow, the location of the storm cell, and using the river as a sight tool does no add up to any known land based objects being able to cast a shadow this high into the sky. Therefore, I concluded the object to be airborne and stationary. I also am able to rule out cloud formations as a cause due to not ever being able to recall a cloud produce such a pinpoint and exact shape across the sky. There were a total of 6 persons in my party who witnessed this anomaly. Their ages range from 13 to 55. The photos were taken by an Iphone 5s with HDR in the off, auto and on positions. The photos were taken just outside the theater. The time stamp indicated 20:04 on the first photo and 20:05 on the last. There were 8 photos of this on my phone when I downloaded them at home. I was unable to obtain photos from the second viewing site because I left my phone in the car to charge. Whatever it was, It was enormous.

We saw a unusually bright light moving from West to East. It was moving at a satellite speed. What caught our attention was how bright it was and large. Satellites are small and not so bright. This was bright. And the brightness did not change with the distance it traveled. No blinking lights so I can safely say it was not an airplane. Weird! The ufo consisted of an outlined shape made up of twinkling lights that looked like stars but the center seemed clear but blocked out the actual stars behind the object object came from over the ocean heading west inland then started heading north.

Bright Cobalt Blue group of 3 lights single craft streak in fast from east to west thought it was meteor but no trail behind it then came to a stop and turned moved back in closer light went white for 2 sec. then back to Cobalt blue. moved from west to east then left to right climb going back west then left right and then dropped straight down under the tree line out of sight. nothing on tue. night then back on Wed. night about 22.30 saw it again on Fri. night 22.30 to 22.45 way up over head after I spotted it, it moved north west then down 10 Oclock off the horizon then light went out for a sec. then back on in another location then it moved up light went blink ... blink ... then west and straight down

I was out tonight looking for Saturn's because it was still at opposition. I had my telescope out looking for Saturn. I had my dog out and my mother came out to help me look, as I did not know where to look (and still don't) for saturn. I was casually looking to the Southeast from my houses perspective and mine. I had noticed a fast, bright red light flying across the sky going at a incredibly fast speed. It then disappeared from my view. I then observed a 2nd ship (or possibly the same one, I'm not entirely sure.) with white lights flying the same speed as the first one. However, this one had a white light instead of a red one and it flew in a different direction. This one flew in the flight path of the Red one, going through the flight path at the side, instead of straight like the Red one or when it had it's red light on. The white one or different crafts (since I'm not entirely sure, I cannot rule out the possibility of there being more then one.) danced around in the sky, seeming to do impossible movements that any known aircraft to my knowledge could do. My mother tried to signal it with a Android Smartphone light. The craft responded by blinking its light once again.

Saw a beam of white light less than 70 feet off the ground about 50 from the side of the road driving home with my wife. Light was a perfect cone shape beaming in a field.there was a road 1/32 of a mile down the road I watched the light in my mirror and when I turned to look at it it was gone. I rolled down the window to listen because I thought I might have been a helicopter, but it was nothing but silence. Tomorrow I am going to look at the field where I saw the if UFO see if there is anything out of the ordinary.

Before going to bed I had let my pup outside in the backyard. Being a clear night I was checking out the stars/ constellations/ any satellites. I've always been a star gazer and satellite watcher. While looking in the southwestern sky (~ 30° up) what looked like a medium bright star/ satellite proceeded to race across the sky unbelievably fast!!!! (FYI ridiculously faster than a satellite which takes ~ 3 seconds to cross my extended thumb and ~ 60 seconds to cross same amount of sky this object did in only ~ 5 seconds!!!) All I said was "Holy Sh*t!!!!" It stopped on a dime in the northern sky. Then after 20ish seconds it continued this time to the east. I lost it after a few seconds because of a large tree in the backyard. This object looked to be clearly to me outside earth's atmosphere. KPM PS: If it's still posted, I originally reported this on the MUFON website a years ago (as being seen from nearby Lahoma, OK) Only because I really had nothing more to add when contacted and felt odd even reporting, I noticed the MUFON rep responded to my experience as only being it was probably a satellite? BS! Just because I had nothing more to add to a "MUFON investigation" don't refute/ question my report just because I didn't want them coming to my house. I'm educated w a past career (retired) requiring detail and observation when a mistake cost millions to my company.

Something just blew up over the mountains by Las Cruces and fell to earth in three lines of smoke like what engines would leave behind. No other information available. But we have been seeing multiple orange fireballs in the sky over near Alamagordo for the last week....I have pictures on my phone but have to text them.

I filed a report yesterday, and I spoke briefly with Peter this afternoon. At his request, I am adding to my 1st report with some additional information. Yesterday during the daytime, I spoke with a person from the Rothney Observatory, located near Calgary, Alberta. She checked her star maps and suggested that what I may have seen was the planet, Venus. However, I stayed up during the same time frame this past night and indeed Venus was visible in the sky BUT it was located quite a bit further South (in the Western sky), from where I saw the object the night before. Both nights, the sky was completely clear, and Venus although showing a yellowish colour, was not near as bright either. And again not in the same part of the sky. I hope that this is of some use to you.

Hello. I am going to say, I don’t know what the heck I saw……… Last night, at about 2320 hr MDT on May 18, 2015. I happened to look out of my living room window. The windows on that side of my home face directly West. I was looking out my patio door windows, so I can look over a pretty large angle of view. So, I have been watching the planet. Saturn (I think it is), it has been VERY bright in the sky directly West of my home, at that time of the night. I have been watching the sky for years and know what the difference looks like between a star and a planet. I have also seen the ISS fly over at least 4 times, and have seen satellites passing overhead many times. What I saw was none of those. What I saw was a very bright YELLOW light. It appeared to be the colour of a flame or perhaps incandescent light. It appeared in the sky about 30 degrees from due West towards the North. It was about 20 degrees up from the horizon, like I wrote above; I first noted it at about 2320 hrs MDT. I used my binoculars in an effort to gain a somew! hat better view, but they did not seem to help very much. This “thing” seemed to be oblong in shape and the bottom of it seemed to be kind of waving. Almost as if the bottom had a flame. The thing had no blinking or flashing lights or anything like that, that I could see. I live in a small town and I am sure anyway that it was too far away to have been able to hear any sounds. I could not make out any real defined shape. Whatever is was finally disappeared over the Western horizon at about 0130 hrs May 19, 2015. During the time I watched it, it appeared to move down but also slightly more to the West *Note: Because my town’s Downtown, is mostly West of my home, it has the effect of raising the horizon a little higher, thus if the buildings were not there, it might have been visible a bit longer. Either way this thing moved faster than the “stars or planets” in the regular night sky, but way too slow to have been a helicopter, or an airplane, or the ISS or such. ! Hopefully, I am not the only person who saw this thing in the! sky las t night.

Object appeared as a moving bright light. Initially thought to be either a shooting star or satellite. Traveled as slowly as a satellite, in a west to east direction, but suddenly took an almost perfect 90 degree turn to the north, and then again back to the west. The object accelerated at a rate at least 5 times as fast as it was traveling initially when it made the two 90 degree turns.

my wife was leaving with our 4 yr old niece and she came back in freaking out saying come look at this.I went out and over black mountain there was 10 to 12 lights all in a perfect formation spread out totally equal spce between them. She took a picture but it didn't come out good. Then they went down behind black mountain. These were no planes or jets or anything like that. I am writing this report because this is actually the second time I have seen this same craft/object/?. I was traveling back to my motel after dinner at approx. 17:00 hrs. and I was pulling into the parking lot. I was turning off the car ignition when I glanced up and saw this very large ( to me ) object seemingly floating and/or stationary in the sky maybe a few hundred feet up,maybe more ,maybe less. I couldn't be sure as I was partially obscured by some small trees.It was like," what the hell is that???" I tried to look at it a few seconds more and couldn't believe what I was actually seeing.I quickly opened the car door and moved between the trees but it was gone. This was the same object I saw driving,about the same time of day, in northern California on approx. 8/14. Both times were in broad daylight.That was the first time. Exactly the same ufo I witnessed in Jersey.Same shape ,color and movement (or lack there of ). No beams, no sounds,no trail,did n! ot change color,emitted no other objects that I could tell and no lights. It was a weird color though. I looked around at the Jersey location for someone who also may have seen it but no one was near enough. These things are pretty large to have not shown up on radar or something!? Is this what it is like to go crazy? Am I seeing things? Do I need to see a doc? I don't use drugs or drink, so I personally have no explanation. I hope this report helps.

Lake Harding (located on the Alabama/Georgia State line in East-Central Alabama) I walked out on my front porch. I observed an odd light and watched to see what it was. It became obvious it was NOT an airplane. The light(s) color was a red-orange and appeared to be multiple lights. There was no flashing, or green, light as exhibited in an airplane. I walked back to the door and told my husband I was looking at something that didn’t look like an airplane. I returned to my original position and still observed the odd lights. I walked off my porch into the yard and it changed direction to the west. It had originally been approaching from a south-southwest direction. As I walked off my front porch, the lights became very small and vanished in an instant. Background: I worked in the local District Attorney’s Office for 32 years before retiring. After taking a year off, I decided to use my real estate license, obtained in 2008, and have been working as a Realtor® for the past 4 years. I have been a Board Member on the Opelika Chamber of Commerce as well as the National Association for Justice Information Systems. I have lived on Lake Harding, a tributary of the Chattahoochee River, for 16 years. My husband indicated, after I explained what I saw, that he has seen similar activity in the past. I want them to come back so I can talk to them!

witness with me! 2 people saw this together 5/8/15 11pm Canton, GA. We just saw 2 large slowly moving bright beautiful orange circles going strait then vanish. No clouds. No tree lines. We saw the first one and we have pictures and video. Our dogs and the coyotes were all barking right before it happened and it went silent. The second one did the same thing as the first. We used a scope to look and clear as day each object was a dark center circle with a very bright glow. Was not far away. I have never seen anything in my life make animals go crazy like that. Our dogs woke us up and we went outside and the coyotes were making so much noise and before I know it I am watching the most majestic thing of my life. Watching what I just saw, I will go to my grave defending this and I have 3 videos I want professionals to look at. No joke. No bs. We we just saw was the best thing that ever happened to me and I will never forget this. When we came inside our tv was not working and both of our phones would not let us use the internet or data. The dogs sat silent with us outside. With my own eyes, I watched our dogs looking at the sky in silence.

My son and I were feeding the horses right at dark, and as they ate their grain and the sky darkened, I pointed out a N/S traveling satellite. It was easily visible and traveled at a steady pace. We continued to watch the sky for other satellites and I happened to glance back to where we lost the visual of the satellite (south) and I noticed an object that looked like a satellite but it was moving from the south to the southwest. However, it was moving away from the earth, getting smaller and smaller, until it appeared to disappear into the stars. Satellite?? PD
