Greenwich, CT
Traveling southbound on Merritt Parkway at approx 5:25 am, between exit 28 (Round Hill Road) and exit 27 (120A). An electric blue/white luminous "object" streaked across the sky going southwest. I first thought it was a meteorite or a firework because of the tail, but then the object stuttered, stopped, and suddenly zipped southeast at a right angle and then poof! Gone! It was not a plane, not a helicopter, no sound.

The orange red fireball looking UFO flew over the sky as it was just getting dark. It was flying faster than a airplane and was moving back and forth quickly.

First group came in a pair, glowing orange fireball shaped objects, flying in a pair then split off. The orange light seemed to pulse from the objects but not any engine sound at all. The second fireball was by itself and proceeded in the same direction heading NE towards McClellan airbase. Hard to judge altitude and speed. The 3rd group was another pair of the same objects. East Haven, CT
I went outside on the back porch to have a cigarette about 3:30am, as I often do. I was looking east, just noticing the complete quiet and stillness of the night. I was out there for 3 or 4 minutes, when suddenly a huge, round, extremely bright fireball seemed to just drop straight down out of the sky from no where! It seemed as if it was coming directly towards me, as it was getting bigger and brighter. It was going faster than any airplane I have ever seen, but not as fast as a shooting star. Its movement seemed very deliberate. After about 45 or so seconds, it seemed to stop for a moment, and then go in the opposite direction. I briefly thought it disappeared, it seemed to turn white for a moment, then bright red again while continuing in the second direction away from me. About 15-20 seconds later, it just disappeared. I just stood there in complete amazement for the next 5 minutes! About 5 hours earlier, I witnessed with my next door neighbor, a series! of bright, white, round objects, (15 or so), traveling in some sort of pattern, from west to east. I wrote out one of these reports earlier about that incident! My friend was joking earlier saying "are we being invaded'? I laughed! Now maybe it isn't so funny! What are we seeing?

Driving home my friend and I noticed a bright orange light entering the horizon from our right. We immediately asked each other what it was noticing it was moving very slow, wasn't blinking and seemed to burn orange with no tail or sound. The light drifted a visual distance of a foot to a foot and a half before it appeared to drift in our direction. We would later comment that it seemed to notice our headlights and swerved in to investigate. I put my car in park as the second light entered from the same direction. The second light passed with seemingly more resolve. It was larger and passed by much the same way. The first light had seemed to pick its spot in the sky to diminish in brightness. Light number two seemed to decide on turning in our direction more aggressively at this point I felt nervous and turned off my headlights. Upon turning off my headlights, the second light went the same as the first. This one persisted as the third enter from the right. My co-witness captured crude photos on his cell phone as well as a short video capturing their pass. The third light, more consistent in brightness did not seem to notice us as it passed by and went the way of the previous two. These lights were bright and clearly different from the other celestial bodies. I compared it to my wife later as a fireball who's light reflected off a thin mist. When we returned home upon completing a short scan for any other such objects we noticed a second 'patch' of three similarly moving, similarly colored objects moving on the horizon. The second patch was too far to see with the same profound detail however the similar behavior led us to a relative conclusion. The reason for the + followed by the question mark is that along with the obviously unique sightings mentioned earlier, a huge number of 'stars' were acting very odd. More like a junebug around a streetlight then a star. Wiggling and pulling from side to side. These 'wigglers' can be found nearly every night however the six fireballs are things we have never seen before and defy our ability to explain.

Slatington, PA
My daughter and I were taking our nightly walk and when coming down a hill three orange orbs came from behind the hill in front of us. We were looking south and they were traveling east. They were first traveling very close to one another. One took off south another east and the last just seemed to disappear. I got to pictures not very good though. This is the 5 the time in two year we and other witnesses have seen them over Slatington, PA. They were very bright orange. Very cool to see.

Sitting by a campfire, we witnessed a fireball flying above - we were star gazing when this huge round fireball flew by on a circular path, 5 minutes later it flew by again, OR it could have been another fireball on the exact same path above, yet another 10 mins later it flew by again on the exact same path. We didn't have full view as trees blocked us so we couldnt see if it was doing a circle above or if there were 3 different fireballs flying on this path. It was far bigger than an airplane as a plane flew below it at one point at the same time and had clearly different lights and shape. it really looked like a flying fireball. but no trail, no flames following just a glowing red circle with yellow inside. Never seen anything like it!

Driving home from dinner my wife and I saw a red orange ball moving horizontally across the sky. It was a little smaller than the moon and my original thought was it was like a flickering candle flame shaped like a ball. I was driving so I kept my eyes on the road while glancing at the thing in the sky. When we reached our driveway we got out and watch it recede -- still in a straight line -- while another plane taking off from Stewart Airport (in nearby Newburgh) was flying the opposite direction at a slight angle. When the thing became small in the distance (still bigger than a point-like star) it just turned off. We waited a bit to see if it would come on again but it didn't.

Upon walking out of a house to get to my car, I looked at the stars and noticed movement. Around 500 yds from ground and over a mile away was a red-orange fireball moving North, then SW and stopped. I asked a friend to look for anything odd in the sky, and the witness immediately noticed, stating this was the second time he saw a fireball at this location within a month. Using hunting binoculars, I was able to steady the view to confirm that the fireball was moving quickly once again. I did this by focusing the binoculars on a star, then witnessing the red light cross the star and continue going. Witness and I watched the light change course, from going N/NE to slowing, then heading W for a short distance before regaining course N, until the fireball was behind the treeline. Calm and clear night in a rural area, the object didn't make any noise. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

As me and my buddies drove up main st. to work we noticed a bright blue object falling at a rapid speed. The light increased and I noticed a smoke trail behind it. The object seemed to be burning. I had my window rolled down and it flashed and made a very loud boom. Not sure what exactly this is.

Olds (Canada), AB · Canada
Hi ufocenter, I drive a truck in Alberta and Saskatchewan. I was heading South on highway 2 between Edmonton and Calgary, near Olds, when I noticed a bright light out my drivers side window, East, very close to 1:25 AM. It travelled North to South. It was the shape of a kidney bean or unshelled peanut. I thought it was a meteor or something hitting the outer atmosphere, but is was too big for that, too close. It streaked across the sky for a short distance, maybe about a 1/5 of the total width of the sky. It then just stopped and disappeared in a kind of glow. My impression is that it skipped off the atmosphere and headed back out to space. It was too big, too close though. When it streaked through the sky it did not leave a trail like a comet does. A very little bit of spark kind of stuff, mostly glow. It glowed green, blue, red, mostly brilliant orange. It only lasted about 25 seconds, at the most. The company I work for has 4 trucks. One of the other drivers was at Olds at the same time, but he didn’t see anything. But talking to one of the other drivers, he did notice a flash in the sky, but did not see it. He was near Suffield, Ab., close to the Sk. Border, and attributed it to something from the military base at Suffield. Shortly after that, our 4th driver texted him ‘did you see that?’ What he saw and where he was, I don’t know yet. But I suspect he was between Calgary and Medicine Hat. That was the route for the night. I think it was a meteorite or whatever its called. It is very curious though how big it seemed and so close. But it wasn’t. The other driver’s were quite East and saw it to the East also. Thank you for your time and website for reporting. Dennis

Jamul, CA
Over the mountains in Jamul, I saw what appeared to be a shooting star, only it was bright orange, and then turned into a fireball and exploded then totally disappeared. There was no sound. It lasted maybe 3 seconds this occured around 11:13 pm on 7-21-14. Then seconds later, to the right of where the fireball was, I saw what appeared to be a circular object just hovering. It was bright white light with red on the left side and blue on the right side, the flashing bright white light in the middle was pulsating. It hovered for at least a minute then suddenly shot across the sky so fast I barely saw it move, it was HERE then THERE, then it disappeared. This occured around 11:15 pm on 7-21-14.

West Des Moines, IA
On 07-21-14 around 2254hrs I was patrolling the area of western Polk County. I am a law enforcement officer. I observed a burning ball (orange in color). I observed the object as it was directly above my location. The object then proceeded northbound, and during this trajectory, the object briefly shot east, then continued northbound until it completely faded away. As the object was fading away, it would burn low then burn bright. I did capture the object on my IPhone but the resolution is pretty poor.

At 11:55pm on July 20th, 2014 I saw an orange light travel across the sky before suddenly vanishing. It first appeared on the horizon southeast of my location. It was moving northwest and looked like a ball of fire. After approximately 45 seconds, when it was directly above my location, it just disappeared. There was no noise. And there were no clouds in the sky.
