Saw 2 orange balls of light/fire(?) traveling together in the sky. I thought of Chinese lanterns, but seemed much too bright. Moved as though drifting, but a little too fast. Altitude was difficult to determine.

Philadelphia (northeast part), PA
As I was walking home from the Chinese store with a friend, we seen A big bright GREEN ball ascended in to the sky really fast. Stopped for 2 seconds, Then flashed green real bright. Then flew away faster then anything I ever seen before. I was freaking out. Because I am very aware of UFO's n always watch alien documentaries all the time, and I once saw something I thought was a UFO. But this was very close, only about 3 blocks away I'd say. And its just so (I can't even explain the feeling) to actually witness it first hand, and so close. So had a really bad feeling about it. Why in Philly? A largely populated city where a lot of people are still out at 1 am. That means they are started not to care if see. Which I believe is either a very bad thing. Or a very bad thing. No good can come of this. I even posted on a social media about it to see if anyone else seen it. And my friend said he did. I didn't even give a description of it. I just asked if anyone s! een that in the sky, and he said "I seen it. It was a greenish light rite. It flashed and I was waiting for the boom. I almost ((deleted)) panicked . I'm just so overwhelmed and needed somewhere to vent where I wouldn't sound crazy. Cause like they all say "I know what I saw"

From my balcony on beach we became aware of a moving object in sky--like a moving fireball. It moved from west to east, diminishing in size while moving over the gulf. We also heard a bang coinciding at the time when the object was totally disappearing.

Albany, OR
Watch a very large, very bright orange light travel from the SE moving North. It traveled about as fast as the average satellite only much bigger and much brighter. Once it got further north it appeared to stop and remain stationary. It may have been moving. It was hard to determine at that point.

We saw a red dot with a yellow streak of sorts suddenly rising from the middle of the sky. The three of us were on our roof and did not see it all at the same time. The trajectory of the craft was very steep and it disappeared about 5 seconds later only to return after a brief disappearance on the same trajectory. It made no noise, but we believe it was due to the distance. Soon, it just reduced to a red dot. We are pretty sure it isn't an aircraft, because it appeared suddenly out of nowhere. However, there are many Air Force Bases in this city and we could be totally wrong. Yet, it was the strangest thing we have seen. Hope someone can shed some light over this. We are going crazy just thinking about what we saw.

Auburn, WA
While driving northbound on highway 167 in Auburn, WA, I sighted a large green ball approximately 100ft from the ground. It was hurtling toward the earth. If it impacted the ground, it made no audible sound. It was large, maybe 15x15ft in diameter. It was only in the sky for 5-10 seconds because it was moving quickly. It disappeared over the west side of the highway.

I was filming around 9pm and recorded 3 paths of dots that i believe are ufos skipping across the film. Here are the links to the photo and video. Photo: http://consciousmystery.com/ufos101214.png Video: http://consciousmystery.com/1012142027-01.3gp i think they were telling me they move in triples of 9's, twice..vigintriplicity what i mean is you play 9 notes, 9 more notes, than finally 9 more notes, twice, and it sounds like a root to the sound in space they make. tell me what ya think. thanks and godbless!

St. Louis, MO
I was with a few family members outside at the fire pit in back yard. When I looked up above my house and saw very bright reddish almost fire light. Object was moving straight in my direction, coming from downtown. Then I saw another, and another. In about 10 seconds, there was a straight line of 6 of these "lights." I yelled and pointed, "What is that"? My 3 family members all saw the objects. The objects were equidistant away from each other moving at a steady pace right overhead, about the height of a plane coming in for a landing, but kept their pattern true. The objects slowly "faded out" at about the same spot in the sky. A minute or two later, 5 or 6 more "fiery objects" came moving in, almost same straight pattern, but slightly askew. There was no noise from these objects. They just kept there course. This time I watched very closely to see when they faded out and noticed when the light faded, a black silhouette in the shape of a triangle seemed to ascend out of sight. A few minutes later, 2 more appeared and quickly disappeared. We didn't know what to think.

Five bright red lights up in the sky in a formation. One by one they faded away, and they flew much faster than any plane I've ever seen. It was not any type of aircraft I've ever seen. They were too low to be a satellite and too bright to be any type of plane. There is no other explanation to these lights. We suspect an evening sighting, and have changed the time above to reflect that possibility. PD

Kalamazoo, MI
Two of us saw what appeared to be a hovering fireball or object round in shape, that was seen in the southern sky south of Kalamazoo, MI. It hovered low in the horizon and did appear to be moving only slightly. It wasn't perfectly still but you could tell it was slightly moving. I used the term fireball but it could have been a mass of lights, orange/red in color appearing at a distance as a fireball. I tried to take a pic but it was too far away. It wasn't a Chinese lantern, but based on the distance and how big it still appeared, it had to have been huge. I checked Flightradar(iOS app) and there were no flights at all in the area. After hovering for about 15 mins approx 9:30pm it was gone. I did check the internet for similar sightings and there have been sightings like this in this area.

Chicago, IL
I'm in river north (Chicago) watching TV in my apartment. I see a bright green ball of light through the window facing North. It was moving similar to how I would describe a falling star, almost a perfect 45 degree angle - downward. I saw it for about 3-4 seconds and then it disappeared in the on the horizon (buildings/Lake Michigan, depending on the depth). I've subsequently watched scores of airplains fly by and none are anything like the green ball I saw. Did anyone else see this? My Husband was outside letting our Dog out. He called me out to look at something as soon as he pointed to the sky I saw 2 fireballs one right after another coming from the West then curving moving South. A few minutes later a couple more came, I actually went inside to put on a jacket when I came back out there were 2 more. And why I say there was 9-10 is that my husband had seen some before I even got out there. They all traveled from and to in the same direction. Very strange… Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Folly Beach, SC
On the night of 10/8/2014, my wife and I were at Folly Beach, SC, enjoying a stroll on the beach under a full moon. There were no clouds in the sky, stars were out (but very faint, probably due to the brightness of the moon). We were sitting at the Folly Beach Pier looking toward the moon which was in the Northeast. To the west of the moon toward the opening of the Charleston Harbor, I saw three orange/yellowish “fireballs” in a triangular formation (one on the left, one on the right and one on the top). I pointed it out to my wife and she noticed it as well then the images disappeared. The first to disappear was the eastern most light, followed by the western most then the top one. The entire sighting lasted for about 2-3 seconds, just long enough to spot it, point it out and then it was gone. We thought right away that maybe it was fireworks, but we saw no signs of a trail or evidence of the lights fizzling out like a falling light would. We then thought it may have been a plane, but the lights were too far spaced out. We sat there for a few minutes discussing what we saw and decided to record what we saw on our voice recorder on our phone. We continued to monitor the sky around us, but did not see it again or anything that resembled what we saw. We finally went along the pier and asked a couple people (fishermen and families walking the pier) if they saw it and nobody else witnessed what we saw. Someone joked that they must not have been drinking what we did, but we had only had water and sweet tea earlier in the evening; no drugs, alcohol or medicine that would have been a factor.

My friend/ boss and I were standing outside watching the eclipse and looking at the stars starting around 4:30 am on highway 190 going toward Albany. Around 4:43 am we saw a shooting star or two which isn't uncommon, but a few minutes later we both looked up when we saw a light that had appeared out of nowhere and was just hovering there for about a second, then lit up brightly and took off north much like something out of Star Wars. We have seen a lot of shooting stars in our day, but this actually startled us because it certainly was not even close to a comet coming into orbit.

Winsted, CT
I spotted two bright orange balls moving south from Norfolk to over the center of Winsted, I took out my phone to record, and they turned due north rapidly. They were not traveling fast, but erratic. And once they got behind the tree line, they sped up to where they were out of sight in seconds. I have a minute video of the event. And when we I looked up orange UFO sightings on the internet, the images were exactly what I saw. Weird stuff. Could they have been droids? One never knows, but the speed and range, they would of had to be sophisticated. Also, they made no sounds what so ever.
