November 6, 2014 · 10:30 PM · FIREBALL

Needles, CA

On October 6th, 2014, ((sic. November 06th, 2014)) around 10:30 pm I was driving east bound on interstate 40 just about 7 miles east of Needles, California, I was going to do a job on a big rig that was broke down on the rode which is pretty common for me to go out at all hours, many times when I have been on the road at night I do see falling stars, well on this night while me and my son were driving we both saw an object in front of us about ten miles ahead across the mountain top a bright green light going straight down at a very hight rate of speed and disappeared behind the mountain, at first my son said did you see that falling star and stated wow I never seen one like that before dad, and I replied, son that was no falling star or shooting star, that was something I have never seen, my guess is as it seemed to not slow down at all as we seen it that it must have hit the ground on the other side of the mountain top, no noise was herd and for the next few minutes while driving saw not! hing else. I have my theories, but will keep them to my self.

November 3, 2014 · 1:30 AM · FIREBALL

Keyser, WV

As I walked outside my home, I looked in the sky to see a round shaped orange glowing object shooting across the sky at the speed of a shooting star. The object was moving in a north west direction than quickly made a 45Pop degree turn at a rapid speed changing its direction to south west. It was moving to fast to be any kind of man made plane or helicopter. The object couldn't have been a shooting star or space junk falling to earth because of its rapid change in direction. I will be the first to tell you that I don't believe in such things as aliens and ufo's. However, their can be no other explaination for what I saw in the sky. November 1, 2014 · 10:35 PM · FIREBALL

Simi Valley, CA

I was sitting on my couch and seen a bright red light out of the corner of my eye. I turned and looked and it was a red fireball floating in a slow upward diagonal motion. Called my son and we both went out side on the patio to watch it. After awhile it flickered on and off about about 4 times moving in a much faster sideways motion and then disapeared. The whole thing lasted about 10 minutes.

October 31, 2014 · 8:45 PM · FIREBALL

Gila Bend, AZ

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) when I first spotted the very bright light, I thought it was a helicopter with front lights and tail lights. It seemed that low. I live near an emergence clinic and see quite a few helicopters with all kind of lights. But this was not one of them. However there was sound and the light just seemed to turn off. I viewed the light for not 1/2 second but for approximately 3 or 4 seconds. I can't tell you in degrees how much the light traveled but looking into the sky and using my thumb and pointer finger I would guess about 5 or 6 inches. I think what I saw was a meteorite. I have seen 2 in my time and they both had a long tail. If what I saw last night was a meteorite it did not have a long tail. Again using my fingers as a guide I would say the light was about 3 inches long. I don't know if this is any help to you but I was amazed by it. ((END ADDENDUM))

October 31, 2014 · 7:30 PM · FIREBALL

Hawkinsville, GA

While traveling south on U.S. 341 from Perry towards Hawkinsville, I observed two fireballs heading in a southeast direction. Initially, there was one fireball, but within a couple of seconds, another appeared parallel to it and to the left. The first fireball that appeared then ceased movement and remain stationary, while the other fireball began moving in a uniform zigzag pattern. After ceasing movement, the first fireball seamed to fade, and the second fireball move towards the location where the first fireball had been. The second fireball then disappeared as well. They both had long ‘tails’, and looked like actual fire, not just light. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

October 31, 2014 · 7:30 PM · FIREBALL

Pulaski County, GA

While travaling north on Hwy. 112, my wife ask "what is that?" Looked up to see a fireball falling to the north. At first thought possible meteorite. But much thicker and did not burn out as usual. At that time (4-5 sec later) a second one appear in close proximity to the 2nd. Both continued to fall. At that time, I was in fear that if they hit the ground at that size and speed, it would be catastrophic. But then, they can to a complete stop at what appeared to be 1500-2000 ft while maintaining a short distance from one another. They hover there for approx. 30 sec. At this time they flew together and became one. After the had leveled out the lost their fireball appearance. Once joined you could almost distinguish a pattern within the light. After 15 secs, they disappeared.

October 30, 2014 · 12:30 AM · FIREBALL

New York City (Brooklyn), NY

I live in a high rise building in Brooklyn, NY, and I was just going to bed shortly after midnight when I spotted what appeared to me as the set off of a fireworks towards the western sky. When the "fireworks" didn't explode that's when my interest peaked. The fireballs moved up from the horizon (did not see their origin, just moving straight up) and then hooked a left towards the Verrazano Bridge. They were traveling for about a minute and then were no more. There could have been more but I saw 13 objects, bright orange and red. They all originated from the same point in the horizon but when they turned left towards the VB they have different flight patterns. Did anyone else see them?

October 29, 2014 · 7:00 PM · FIREBALL

Franklin, TN

I was sitting on our back deck with another friend as we witnessed an orange light, moving from west to east, almost in the trajectory and speed of an airplane. We had seen many airplanes that night flying above us, but this was orange in color, and instead of having blinking lights on the wings, this would get brighter orange and bigger in size like it was pulsating while it moved. It would totally fade out to black, And then pulsate again while it held this horizontal trajectory. Finally it just disappeared. It was very odd.

October 27, 2014 · 6:50 PM · FIREBALL

South Kingstown, RI

I went out to see if I could see the launch of the Antares rocket which could be viewed moving from the southwest toward the south. I saw a large bright object moving in that exact trajectory at a high rate of speed and I had my wife come look at what I thought was the rocket. There were no flashing lights or red and green lights on this object and it was moving too fast to be a jet. I logged onto the NASA mission control site to watch the live feed and I hear that the launch was scrubbed due to a sailboat that was in the area below the projected path. I really want to know what was I looking at? Unfortunately, I tried to watch the postponed launch again last night and the vehicle exploded right after takeoff. Indianapolis, IN

From 82nd st and shadeland ave, I watched one slow moving orange fuzzy light moving south in the sky. I thought it was a burning plane at first. I stopped my car and watched it and then from the north 2 more fuzzy orange lights followed a similar path.

October 25, 2014 · 9:30 PM · FIREBALL

Peoria, IL

my boyfriend and I were in the McDonald's drive thru when I noticed this large orange light shooting straight up into the sky FROM THE GROUND. We have both been ufo fanatics for a while now and still have not seen one until tonight!!! We have video and everything of it! On YouTube. Anyway... We followed it with my phone while in the car and after looking at the video we took, it showed another one appeared right next to the first one and went in these crazy fast diagonal directions and then disappeared into the sky. It's a freaking ufo people. We are not the only people on this earth :)

October 25, 2014 · 8:45 PM · FIREBALL

Cocoa Beach, FL

My wife and I witnessed a ufo over the Cocoa Beach, Florida area on Oct. 25, 2014, at approx. 8:45 pm. The accompanying photo was taken from a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone. The object looked like a giant red/orange fireball with no distinct features, travelling horizontally following the shoreline. We observed it for about 1-1/2 minutes. The object appeared to be about 2-3 miles out to sea from the shoreline. The approximate altitude was about 5-7,000 feet. I estimate the speed to be about 100 mph (it was moving about the speed of a helicopter). The object made absolutely no engine noises. The direction of travel was from north to south. Facing the ocean, Cape Canaveral was on our left and Cocoa Beach was behind us and on our right. From our vantage point and distance, the object appeared to be about the size of a hot air balloon. After observing the object for about 1-1 ½ minutes, it seemed to arc skyward somewhat then disappeared.
