Obviously my 1st thought was it could be a reflection from somthing, im not sure what i think now having showed it to a couple of friends, it seems to have a lot of depth for a reflection and also seemed to have a shadow but may not be obviously. I was sitting on my 2nd story back porch facing south at 1:50AM when a large fireball erupted up and over the hill and silently billowed out colorful flames. They were blue, orange, and pink- very vibrant with a smoky trail. It then changed to a horizontal trajectory and faded into an orange orb in a vertical column if light with a faint orange trail. Very distinct bright white solid lights which appeared slightly vertical, rectangular to horizon (4 pin heads; larger than planets, stars, aircraft) coming up individually in a very straight diagonal line from ground level approximately 3/4" apart travelling northwest to southeast. Approximately 8 in number. Within the course of 3 minutes they each disappeared sequentially at the same point roughly 1/3 high in the sky to dead center above me. I was observing stars in the Flint Hills when this occurred (i.e., no one else present). I took pictures with an iphone7 (i.e., obviously an old model) as they sequentially came up but unfortunately flash was on (i.e., can't see black sky/white objects; may be able to photoshop though I tried a couple of techniques with no success). Le 16 septembre 2023, vers 5h 55, le témoin, depuis son domicile de Quesnoy-le-Montant (80), aperçoit dans le ciel, une lumière blanche intense, plus intense que les étoiles autour. Il filme la scène à travers la fenêtre. En zoomant, il note que la forme est circulaire avec un second cercle à l’intérieur de couleur blanche ou grise, ce qui ne correspond pas à ce qu'il observe à l’œil nu. Cette lumière orientée plein Est, se déplace très lentement. L'observation dure environ 1h30, le lever du jour rend le point lumineux moins visible, il semble alors s’éloigner et prendre de l’altitude. La consistance* de ce cas est bonne : un témoignage détaillé, rédigé le jour même de l'observation, comprenant de nombreuses vidéos (18). Le témoin a en fait observé la planète Vénus. L'analyse astronomique, réalisée via le logiciel Stellarium, montre en effet, que la position de Vénus correspond aux indications du témoin en termes de date, heure, azimuts, et élévation initiale, bien que l'élévation finale indiquée par le témoin ait pu être mal estimée. La forte luminosité de l'objet observé est expliquée par la magnitude élevée de la planète Vénus à ce moment précis ( -4,28 pour une moyenne de -4,14). L'observation prolongée et le mouvement rectiligne décrits sont des caractéristiques typiques d'une observation astronomique. L'étrangeté perçue par le témoin est attribuée à l'apparence inhabituelle du phénomène sur les vidéos prises avec un smartphone, ainsi qu'à la forte luminosité. Cependant, ces anomalies peuvent s'expliquer du fait de l'appareil utilisé. Celui-ci n'étant pas adapté à l'observation nocturne de sources lumineuses ponctuelles, ce qui peut produire une défocalisation visible de la forme d'une tâche floue circulaire identique à celle du diaphragme de l'appareil, souvent accompagnée de cercles concentriques (tâches de diffraction). De plus, la magnitude élevée de Vénus au moment de l'observation tend à justifier la luminosité exceptionnelle . Le GEIPAN classe le cas en A : observation de la planète Vénus. Selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance de ce cas est bonne (la consistance est la quantité d’informations considérées comme fiables, recueillies pour un témoignage). We were driving on NJ turnpike. Looking at New York shy line. Saw rectangle object with no wings. Asked wife to video. It started to move then disappeared leaving a round circular cloud that kept moving. Also it you look gram by gram you can see another object pass by at very high speed. I was driving due east my I looked up at the moon to admire it and saw an orange orb hovering/ flying under it. It’s was flying south west direction. It’s looked like it was on fire, 1 main orb and 3 perfectly spaced slightly smaller orbs directly underneath. It was floating southwest slowly for 30 seconds idk if it was horizontal because of my angle but it ended up higher in the sky because it was moving slightly towards me but more south, which is why it’s above the moon in the picture. Then it changed color into a blue and quick white and moved faster but not super fast, kinda like went warp speed but not very far, as it broke up into more pieces but only a small distance. It became a single orb not any color after that and went back to an idle speed . I lost track of it after that since I was driving. A bright red/orange/yellow object passed overhead suddenly and completely vanished, didn’t fade away, no smoke or haze, absolutely no sound. The object was lower than any plane that has crossed overhead. 2 days later we set up a camera and captured a triangle of bright lights (see attached video) and 7 days later we captured the next video (same location). Lors d'un vol au dessus de l'atlantique le 01/09/2023, le pilote de ligne (T1) et le copilote (T2) observent 2 objets lumineux en mouvement dans le ciel, droit devant avec une hauteur angulaire faible (0 à 2 degrés). T1 pense initialement observer des phares d'aéronefs en train de manœuvrer, cependant la distance aux objets semble augmenter. En effet, au cours de l'observation, la hauteur augmente jusqu'à atteindre environ 12°, donnant l'impression que les objets sont à une altitude bien supérieure. Leur luminosité baisse progressivement jusqu'à rendre leur observation impossible. L'observation aura duré plus d'une demi-heure. D’étrangeté faible et de consistance* moyenne (plusieurs témoins, mais un seul témoignage et pas de photo du PAN), ce cas s’avère être une observation de flashs de satellites Starlink®. *selon les critères du GEIPAN, la consistance est la quantité d’informations considérées comme fiables et objectivées, recueillies pour un témoignage. La description du PAN est tout à fait cohérente avec ce type d’observation : variation rapide de luminosité pouvant atteindre celle de Vénus, déplacements apparents de quelques degrés, localisation toujours dans la même zone du ciel. Une vérification sur Stellarium permet de confirmer que les conditions d’observation de satellites Starlink® à poste sont réunies : observation à la verticale du Soleil, lorsque celui-ci est couché entre 30 et 45° sous l’horizon, comme l’explique une note du GEIPAN que l’on peut retrouver sur le site GEIPAN dans l'actualité : Nouveau phénomène expliqué : les flashs de satellites Starlink. Seul l’azimut de 82° indiqué par le témoin ne correspond pas (décalage d’une vingtaine de degrés), mais les étoiles fixes servant de repères sur le croquis qui nous a été transmis, sont vraisemblablement Castor et Pollux de la constellation des Gémeaux. Or, ces deux étoiles sont parfaitement à la verticale de la position apparente du Soleil (azimut 60°). Le cas est classé « A », observation de flashs de satellites Starlink®. The pictures will show a strange object in my driveway? One of the pictures shows a dock at the top of the screen. It disappears, and the screen goes black for a second or two then you see the moon come into focus in the circular orbit, spinning at high speed. About 9:50 my daughter and I stepped outside. We were hanging out at our balcony when we spot in the sky a light coming towards us, as we continue to watch we see that is a square light with an orb in the center that is much brighter. And what seemed like clouds moving with it, the sky was completely free of all cloud cover. We continue to observe this light a few seconds longer as it shifts and disappears. The glow from it was so bright it was its own light (not what looked like exterior lights of a craft) although the craft had disappeared you could still see the square of light fade after. My fiancé and I were walking out of my parents house all together to leave for the night when we looked up and saw something strange. It looked at first like a large planet, but we quickly realized it was moving across the sky in south bound direction. It had a hazy cloud around it, even though the conditions were clear and there were no clouds in the sky. It emitted a a dome shaped aura in front of it as it began to disappear from sight. 9:44 PM 08.26.2023 We were swimming in our pool and looked up to the west and saw a bright light flying to the East with a huge white cloud around it. At first glance it appeared to be a plane flying through the clouds or meteor or something of the sorts falling and then we realized that there’s not a cloud in the sky. I jumped out to grab my phone to film it and as I was looking down to it my husband said, “It’s gone.” it just vanished. Nothing to the East like a meteor dissipated or like lights went off for a moment. It just vanished. No we don’t do drugs. No we aren’t drinking. Please tell me someone else saw this??? A bright light appeared in the clear low moisture Northwest sky. It appeared to be a drone or helicopter in the low level distance with a searchlight however the altitude was difficult to judge. It was traveling parallel to the horizon, NW to SE at what appeared to be a slow rate of speed. The object did not have leave a re-entry trail. The object ultimately exhibited a plume of visible moisture or smoke from the leading portion, and disappeared. No ADSB hits at the time. There was a starlink cluster in the area but this was a single object. It was very high altitude based on video. Multiple reports from at least 5+ mile radius and possibly 200+ mile on social media. I was cleaning my car out and I happen to like to watch the stars on occasion. I took a break only to draw my focus to a almost floating object go across the sky and disappear. It didn't fade it was poof gone. I have seen planty of planes and starts and shooting stars this is not it.
