As I was driving on Rt. 6 just west of Tunkhannock, PA, I saw a bright blue flash in the Eastern sky. I got on the 2-way radio and asked if anybody else saw it. I had a confirmation from a driver in Wysox, PA and another driver near Noxen, PA say they saw the same blue flash. It only lasted a split second but was bright enough to light up the whole eastern sky from northeastern PA. [NUFORC annotation: Lightning - Possible]

Driving home from work at 6:00 PM and saw this bright multicolored sphere flashing and moving away from me at a fairly low altitude. It made no noise at all. I pulled my car to the side of the road and shot a video with my phone until it disappeared behind the trees.

I brought the dog outside this morning and looking to the southeast around 5:30am, I saw a flash of light that looked like a lightning bolt in a perfectly clear sky. But a well-defined flash of light - a zig zag pattern about 6 inches relative to extending your fingers apart to the sky. After the flash, a bright white, round light traversed the sky heading northwest in a straight line but at different speeds at times. After it passed directly overhead, I saw another dimmer white object moving perpendicular to the first object heading south-southwest. Much fainter than the first, blurry-like. This one moved at a consistent pace. After they were out of view, I went inside and immediately checked online to see if the first object was the International Space Station, but I do not think it was visible this morning in my location. I am just an educator who always looks up at the sky, with or without a telescope. My love for astronomy came after taking an astronomy course in college. And this experience is the first time I have felt compelled to report what I saw.

Tonight, on Dec. 8th, 2023, I saw a large air craft in the sky unlike any I have seen before. I saw it clearly. It was a chevron shaped craft, with a straight row of lights in the back. The lights were a greenish blue. The craft looked like dark gray metal. It was flying on a diagonal in the sky through my neighborhood. I called to my husband to run out and he took a video with his phone. By the time he came out, it was farther away. When I watched the video, the lights were behaving differently on the video than I saw with my naked eyes. This has now confused me a bit because now I can't remember how exactly the lights were behaving, but I noticed it was definitely different on the video than what I had seen. He said maybe it's a helicopter or a drone, but I disagreed and said it was shaped like a bat, and very huge, and I had watched it when it was closer and not so far away when he saw it in the cloudy sky. I drew a quick hand sketch of it when I came inside, and sent it to my friend. She found this sight and sent me back similar images. On this sight, I see the chevron as an option and that's the shape! I posted this on my facebook. Everyone is shocked! [NUFORC annotation: Balloon - Possible]

I work near a small airport, always we always have a lot of air traffic. Myself and two of my co-workers were chatting before leaving and an amber orb appeared and traveled over our heads at what seemed to be a high altitude. There we no FAA lights. I wanted to explain it as a Chinese lantern but was moving very quickly. No sound observed.

Second sighting same location. Pulsating light. I grabbed binoculars and it looked like something flew of from it. So I grabbed my dslr and telescopic lens. This is what I saw. It appears to be very far away from me and hovering in the same spot

Late Saturday night/Sunday morning I was laying out watching for meteors with my feet facing east, I noticed a swift but silent moving triangular craft swiftly moving from NW to SE direction. It was black, with about 5-7 dimmed lights around the front two sides in a v formation. This was up well above where planes are, moving in deep in space amongst the stars. Within a few second it was out of sight. This is the second time I have personally seen this while out watching meteor showers in the last 2 years

First sighting was near Ephrata, PA. It looked like a vertical string of several white lights. It seemed to hover or move slowly. I kept trying to see how it was moving. It appeared it was moving East. I lost sight of it for awhile. I was driving North by Northeast. I exited the major road onto a state road. I saw the shape again in the Western sky. It was moving slowly or hovering. I kept trying to catch a glimpse of it through trees and around houses. When I came to an especially clear vantage, I was able to see there were 5 of the lines of light in a virtually straight east by southeast line. At one point I had three in sight. All had been white lights hanging in a vertical line. When I looked up I caught only one still in my line of sight, and then one with a vertical line of red lights instead moving slightly faster than a jet. I think at least one of its red lights was blinking, but I am not remembering clearly now. The white light objects appeared to blink or shimmer. I am sorry I cannot give a better explanation. I want to say they were at a height of 1 to 3 miles. Probably closer to the lower end. I thought I might be seeing hot air balloons, but it was dark, and hot air balloons could not move at the speed of which the one with red lights moved. The red lights moving stayed in the straight vertical line formation. When I had a safe place to stop there was just one I could see through the trees. I took only one picture but it was not visible in the poor quality duplication. I could see tree branches and perhaps a star nowhere near where the object was. At no time could I see the object to which the lights belonged on any of the lighted lines. Not even the vaguest of shapes to guide me to a credible description of the shape. I said cross shaped because it looked like the upper portion of the lights might have contained projections on either side that seemed at times to also have lights. I could see at least three lights on every one, but it seemed there could have been more. I could not tell, just like I could not give credible sizing. When I saw the extended line of the different "crafts," it looked like they may have had three miles or so in between each of the five I could see. That is about all I can remember. Sorry for the length of this. As the observer, I am a 54 year old white male with masters level degrees used to teach in a grade 7-12 building. I have never made a report of this kind before. I still kind of believe they could have been balloons, but cannot explain the movement of the red lights. I am just not sure what I saw.

My husband and I were driving our family home from dinner at our parents. My husband exclaimed, “look at that!” I looked to where he was pointing and saw a red trail of light zoom off and disappear. It was a very clear night—you could see all the stars. It did not move like an airplane— it did a circular “swoop” before it disappeared. If it was a plane we would have seen it continue to travel off into the distance. My husband said when he initially saw it it was a green lit up object (half circle shape) that very quickly dropped straight down, and then jolted up (to make a “J” shape, before it zoomed off. When I saw it zoom off, it was red—-when he saw it, it was green. I have never seen anything like it. This was my husands second UFO sighting— he saw another years ago and it was similar.

While driving with my wife we both saw what at first appeared to be a large helicopter moving horizontally across the sky , it quickly turned and came straight at us and went right over head and we saw it plainly. It was moving like something out of a sci fi movie and was triangular in shape with what looked like a green and red arrow lights underneath. Definitely not a drone, helicopter or airplane. Just after we saw it my wife said , watch out for that deer crossing the road. It wasn’t a deer and we can both only describe it as a mix between a llama and a hyena. Don’t know if the two are connected but that’s what we saw. Was looking for a place to pull over to try to get a pic or video of the craft when we saw the animal then decided to just get the hell out of there. Rural road and we weren’t taking any chances.

it's white and is larger than stars and is seen nightly between the hours of 9pm and 10pm est hovering over the building of moorhead tower apartments or across the street from the building; as you walk down the street, the object appears to follow you; when you stop moving it stops moving; at times it is seen hovering directly over the building; numerous tenants in the building have observed this and classified it as a drone of some sort [NUFORC annotation: Drone - Probable]

I had been texting my friend after putting away the dogs in the garage and I walked outside and heard what sounded like a plane. I looked up and saw a triangle of three green and white dots steadily moving across the sky. I tried to take pictures but they wouldn’t turn out and the UFO looked like a blob on camera. Soon it was out of sight Begins trees and I no longer heard it.

Driving down the highway in the middle of the night I was the only one on the road. A large orb of light appeared in the sky to my left and was moving at an insanely fast speed in the same direction as me. It stopped in midair and stayed still for a second before turning to the right and continued on extremely fast without having to build speed. Was out of view after another 5 seconds.

While driving home from the grocery store, I saw in the sky a very fast-moving object. I was near 40.23974839965564, -76.89965313955344. While we have a fair amount of airplanes and helicopters in our area, this didn't look like anything I'd ever seen before. It was shaped just like a tic-tac, or a pill; it was glowing white - and though it was moving very fast across the sky, diagonally from my upper right to lower left field of vision, it did not have a motion trail. It was perfectly shaped, meaning the outline of it stood out vividly against the sky, in perfect relief - the line of its shape was perfectly defined against the black sky, like it was drawn there. And it was glowing white, though there was nothing external that was lighting it (ie. no spotlight on it or any other external source of light). It moved very fast across the sky, paused very briefly at a spot in the distance, then rapidly shot straight down towards the ground. It then disappeared behind the skyline of houses and churches on the street. There was no explosion or indication that anything crashed - it just disappeared behind the building line. While I normally can hear and see airplanes, or hear and see helicopters coming in and out of Harrisburg City, there was absolutely no sound here - it was very un-nerving. I got home and took my dashboard camera inside to see if it caught anything. The video shows a light that looks like a shooting star, moving fast across the sky in a straight line from upper-right to lower left of the sky; it then pauses briefly, then shoots down and disappears.

After moving from 180 degrees SW to 200 degrees SW it stayed still for 2 hours then dropped in an angle to 240 degrees SW almost to the ground. It then instantly moved upward to right about 100 ft then back to whee it had temporarily stopped. At this point it’s a white dot that increased and decreased its illuminosity. According to moon schedule it should have been a new quarter only right side showing. I have video on my ring camera. Besides this a small white orb floats down parallel. Also have odd lights for at least 3 consecutive nights and saucer craft that can only be seen on video. The moon like object could be seen. At first it simply appeared and as it moved right it seemed to change shape and illuminosity around its edges but staying roughly round. I need to screen record my Ring footage. Wanted to send this right away.

On Oct. 12,2023 at 6:30AM in the pre dawn darkness I saw an object high in the sky when looking towards the northwest. The object appeared to have 6-7 bright blue lights. The lights were close and created one long connected blue light. Every 2-3 seconds a red light flashed at the center of the blue light bar. The object was stationary and no noise could be heard. I watched it for approx. 30 seconds. I went for my camera which took 20 seconds. When I looked again, the object was not there.

I was driving on 422 from Myerstown PA to Lebanon PA , when I looked up to see what looked like an airplane with 3 lights in the shape of a triangle. It was flying lower than a normal aircraft, then it just slowly faded away into the clouds. It was after sunset.

We watched the object fly around slowly and I was able to get a couple pictures as it got closer to us before it gain altitude until it was just a dot and couldn’t see it anymore. Completely silent but I don’t know how far away it was. My phone goes to 15X zoom.

The sky was clear. I had stepped outside to see the moon. Two orange lights appeared low in the western sky streaking from west to southeast seming to be climbing. Then it vanished. Probably lasted about four seconds. It was not an aircraft, no blinking lights. I've never seen something moving that fast through the sky. The orange side-by-side lights had an orange trail behind as it streaked across the sky. There was no sound. It did not appear to be high in the sky like the airliners that fly over.

On the weekend of September 30- Oct 1 my wife ((deleted)) and I spent the weekend in historic Gettysburg, Pa, celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary. On the evening of September 30th 2023, at around 9 pm we were taking a guided walking ghost tour of the town. The tour guide had us stop at a few locations while he told his stories. On the last stop, the guide was standing on a side street and our group was either sitting or standing listening to him. My wife was sitting down on the curb and looking up at the guide who was doing his thing. She became distracted by a blinking object behind him in the sky- which was moving at a very fast rate of speed. She said it zigzagged- back and forth- and then pulsed left/ right, left/ right- before it moved across the sky at a constant speed. That was the part I caught very briefly on video from my I phone. I lost it in the tree cover in the parking lot after a few seconds. I also have 2 photos which I took before the video. It is difficult to see the object on the still shots unless you blow it up. It is near the center in both photos. When increased in size, it appears to be somewhat disc shaped with a reddish haze around it. There are a couple of other strange areas on the photos which may have something to do with the camera on my phone. We don't recall seeing those with our eyes, but they are interesting. If you increase the size of the still shots you can see lines under the lower clouds which do not appear to be clouds. Also a couple of bike handlebar( for lack of a better description) shaped objects higher up in the one photo. There's probably a logical explanation for all of this, but we don't know what that is. We thought maybe the blinking object was a drone, but after talking to one of our sons- who happens to be an aerospace engineer- he said they don’t move like what we described to him. The weird thing was that no one else in our group noticed this. We also looked online to see if anything was posted about this in that area, but came up with nothing. We are looking forward to have someone give us their expert opinion on this! Thank you
