I captured this in Flagstaff AZ near the peaks at 8000' elevation while doing a time lapse to capture Geminid meteors. I was there from 4pm 12-14 until 8am the next morning 12 -15. My camera was set to capture a photo every second (25 second exposures.) I was in my van sleeping when this happened. I only saw what I captured today after going through the images. I have taken tens of thousands of images of the night sky the past 8 years and have never caught anything like this before. Nothing like this appeared in any of the hundreds of images that I took on this night nor has it appeared before or since. The camera was near my van, and my dog in the van would have started barking if anything came near the camera or my van, and I also would have heard something. I have no explanation of what this was. Strangely, I saw or heard no animals on this night, and also not another human soul was seen the entire night. It was oddly dead silent. I have come here hundreds of times the past 10 years, and this was the first time that I captured this.

I was driving on AZ-260 near the RX wildfire, heading towards Holbrook. I looked to my left and saw a triangular shaped craft hovering in the smoke with lights visible (before the 260 Trailhead turn off). There was no noise such as propellers, jet engines, or helicopter blades. The craft didn't move but remained stationary. I later drove back in an attempt to get a picture but by then it was gone. I later heard a propeller driven plane at 6:10 PM but am not sure if this is related to my sighting.

There were 3 of us that saw the object during the entire time, roughly 45 seconds. We exited our home into our front yard when we noticed a silver circular craft moving East at a steady speed but there was no sound. It was moving East for about 20-25 seconds and then made a 90 degree turn South without changing speed. After about 10 seconds it made a second 90 degree turn back towards its original East direction before disappearing behind clouds. It did not appear on the far side of the clouds. I was able to film the craft using my phone, but I was having trouble keeping it centered so I stopped filming.

While in my yard with my parents we noticed a round, silver, craft in the sky to our North. It was moving East at a steady speed with no noise. After moving East in the sky for roughly 45 seconds (from when we first noticed it) it made a 90 degree turn south towards us before making a second 90 degree turn back to it’s original path East. It disappeared behind clouds a few seconds later.

I take my dog out at approximately 10:00 each night. On Sunday 11/26/2023 at 9:55 i saw what I thought to be a jet moving from North to South but then thought it must be a satellite because of the rate of speed it was traveling. I always check for the moon shape and location in the sky. This object was in my view. There was a large ring of clouds circling the moon last night. The object was maybe 10 to 15 degrees West of the moon. I took notice as it stopped moving which seemed abnormal. While watching it made a number of erratic and sometimes very high speed movements. It stayed within an open unclouded area. If it started to disappear behind clouds, another high speed movement to clear sky happened. I called my wife out and she witnessed the same phenomenon. I placed my phone on my bbq and reversed the image to make sure it was visible and shot a couple of short videos of what we were seeing. Videos are in reverse from phone setting. As lookin to the South, it’s the bright light and would have been to the right (west) of moon. Object would appear stationary then make 90 degree turns, zig zags and what appeared to almost look like figure 8 patterns before going completely still. My wife has tremendous vision much better than mine and she mentioned seeing what appeared to be sides or dimensions to it.

I saw a round black object flying in the sky in a strange flight pattern. This was in day light. It was either small or extremely far away. It was definitely not a plane or a bird. My spouse saw it as well. I have a video if needed.

This morning, my neighbor and me were on our daily early morning walk, when the neighbor looked up and spotted an object that first appeared to be a conventional satellite in normal flight southwest of our stated location and from 60 to 75 degrees off the horizon, and at approximately 75 degrees, it suddenly stopped. At first we thought we had somehow lost visual contact, because now it appeared we were looking at a distant star. After maybe 15 seconds, it started moving again but in a very erratic manner and in a localized area. Sudden fast starts, sudden stops, sometimes straight, sometimes in arcs. The object made approximately 4 somewhat longer movements over several degrees at super high speeds and in different directions, but seemed to return to about the point of the first stopped. It never proceeded much north of the first stop. During this period, a third early morning walker joined us and watched for awhile. Maybe about the time the third walker left, a conventional satellite of about the same size and altitude and in the same vicinity (6:25?) appeared, moving from South-Southeast to North-Northwest in direction (possible time verification). This may be about the time of the object's second pause in movement, but it is doubtful the pause was in relation to the appearance of the satellite. The object paused long enough that we started walking again while waiting to see more movement. Just prior to out turning on N. Camino Central, an airliner flew generally towards us coming from Southeast to Northwest (likely Tucson to Phoenix and not at full altitude), (possible time verification). Doubtfully because of the approaching airliner, the object suddenly headed east at super speeds far beyond of that of an aircraft or satellite. Once it passed us to the east, it disappeared, possibly because it lost the reflection of the sun. All longer movements were extremely fast and straight followed sudden stops. The shorter movements appeared just as quickly, but were more erratic, and in the shorter movements, there were straight and arc shaped movements and extremely rapid changes in direction and at super speeds equal to those of the longer movements. Several times there appeared to be horizontal movements toward and away from Earth giving it a bouncing effect. When it turned east, it traveled about 10 degrees at speeds faster than a conventional satellite and then apparently lost the reflection of the sun and disappeared. We see conventional satellites on a regular basis, so there is something to compare to this event in terms of the speed of object in space. I am not asking to be contacted by an investigator, but you are certainly welcome to contact me if it will help in any way.

At 10:15am three of us were watching the Luke AFB fighter jet fly over Sun City West. Above the jet was a group of small what objects that quickly changed shape as the jet flew below them. The objects were much higher than the jet. They then slowly changed to a "V" with one side longer, then several shifted from one side to the other side very quickly, not movement a bird flock could accomplish and this group was way too high to be birds. Watched the group from about 60 degrees in NW direction to 90 degrees directly above Sun City West then lost the visual in the sun. The group constantly changed shape. At one point several of the objects broke off from the group and could be clearly seen individually then rejoined the group. The one photo we have is very very blurry. It's the faint white object in center. There were NO clouds in the sky, it had recently rained so the sky was exceptionally clear and blue.

Hello NUFORC, At around noon on 11/18/2023 I heard two low-flying fighters outside of our house. As I was standing in our backyard, I saw two F-35's fly around the house three times over the course of 15-30 minutes. I don't know why there were F-35's here, but Davis-monthan AFB in Tucson is not a fighter base (I was stationed there from 2007-2011). I don't want to assume too much, but the nearest F-35's I know about are stationed at Luke AFB in PHX. Sometimes they will have an airshow or other host nation partners' pilots will train here with some of the U.S. pilots. Either way, when I heard the aircraft outside it prompted me to investigate. As I was observing them I witnessed two other high-flying jets (higher than 20k ft approximately) that were streaming across the sky. This prompted me to grab my telescope (25mm lens) so I could get a better look at them. As I followed one of them with my telescope I observed a UAP floating in the background (not following the aircraft, but caught my eye). Light reflected off of it like it was metallic. I continued to observe the object for approximately twenty minutes until inclement weather prevented me from observing it anymore. It was moving, but it was very slow. I know because I had to adjust me telescope every minute or so. The photos that I took are through my 25mm lens facing west by southwest of our backyard. Even when light wasn't reflecting off of it, it was hard to make out what it was (that's how far it was). I don't want to assume what it was, but I attached some photos that I took from my telescope. It is difficult to take photos with my phone through the lens, but the photos do reflect what I saw. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns. It lasted a few seconds and very quickly exited at what seemed like crazy speed out of my vision to the left. A vertical green rectangular shape. I thought a reflection of something and dismissed. 2 days later I heard 2 of our employees discussing “did you see that green thing monday morning”. Which stopped me dead in my tracks.

I randomly just wanted to look at the stars and watch the sunrise.. it looked like a star at first, but it was moving, and no sound came from it, and I was confused because it moved from one point of the sky, to another point of the sky really rapidly in the blink of an eye. It got slightly brighter as it moves towards the south. There were no other lights on this orb and not a visible craft. [NUFORC annotation: Planet/Star - Possible]

I was traveling on Hwy 87 toward Gilbert. It was around 6 pm. The sun was setting. At first I noticed a group of four crafts in the sky. What alarmed me was how close they seemed to be to each other and that they were slowly moving back and forth in the sky. One by one, the crafts disappeared. I made a turn onto Gilbert Road and saw three more crafts not moving in the sky. These crafts spread out and formed a triangle

My wife and I were sitting outside giving out Halloween candy to the kids when I noticed a bright rectangular white light (with binoculars looked like two lights on top of a long bright light) to the NortWest. Wind blowing at ground level but rock steady. Maintained the same position for three hours before it became too cold and we went inside. Airplanes flying over and under. Clearly not an airplane or helicopter or consumer drone (no drone can hover for three hours). I am a retired police officer with an aviation background and hold an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate.

A friend and I were walking a dog on east bound US Forest Service road #336 heading toward Apache Lake AZ from the Mills Ridge Forest Service Road #429. We looked up and saw an enormous white triangle craft oriented with the one point situated straight down. The craft appeared to be a bit longer than wide. In three seconds the craft narrowed and then disappeared - it did not fly off. One instant it was there and the next instant in time it was not there. The craft was enormous as we could compare it to the mountains on the east side of the Salt River Canyon. It was about 1/3 the height of the mountain side which mountain is estimated to rise 2000 feet from Apache lake level. I estimate craft was between 500 and 1000 ft in length. The craft was approximately 2.5 miles from us as measured on Forest Service map. From this close distance it was simply enormous. There was no noise, sound or exhaust from craft.Color was a milky white with sharp distinct edges. No lights were observed and craft was not reflective. Solid white glowing orb, silent, left no trails or anything. Traveled East to North, no blinking lights. Sky was absolutely clear, no clouds at all (I have screenshots from Weather app). Wind 5 ssw with gusts up to 15mph; Visibility 25 mi. No transponding aircraft over that area (see Flightradar24 video attached). Started roughly in Pisces, above Jupiter, and ended video in or just above Perseus (checked SkyView app). The distance of the orb would have been far out of our city and beyond the next town easily. The only aircraft transponding was directly above my head (which I heard while taking the video, and saw above me). I recorded the video with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, from my front yard. Solid objects in video include house, tree, and stars. No SpaceX launch tonight (Oct. 21st was most recent launch). Also checked FindStarlink map, and heavens-above to see Starlink video launch map, nothing in this area of the planet. FindStarlink using my coordinates shows nothing visible tonight (see screenshot). Live Space Station (ISS) Tracking Map shows ISS was nowhere near the U.S. (see screenshot)

Dark Sky footage at one of my weather stations captured an unexplained image. This Image is an 8 second exposure that repeats every 5 minutes of the night sky at a remote weather station site. Upon reviewing the timelapse, I found one image displaying a point of light traveling 60-80 miles in that 8 second exposure, along an irregular pathway. I welcome further review! Went out as usual to look for satellites and shooting stars. looked to the NW direction and saw a skinny horizontal rectangle flash at me twice with a very bright white light. The light was perfectly contained within this rectangle. There was no glow around it or leakage of the light. I thought it might have been a blimp about to light up a sign but there was nothing more. No planes in the sky, no noise.

I was looking up at the sky and I saw what May have been a slowly moving plane but as I looked harder it was a bright dot with an aura around it that was moving slowly, then all of a sudden within seconds it moved really fast and disappeared completely. Never saw it again

We were outside and all of a sudden my sister laughed jokingly saying, “oh my gosh it’s a UFO” I looked up and saw this large bright light with a faded light surrounding it. It was hard to make out what it was. It was not like any plane I’d seen before. It was so bright and was moving very slow hovering above us. Then in an instant it started traveling fast but away from us. It was so fast. All I could say was what the hell is that. Since my sister was the first person to see it she told me what she saw before we looked. She said it was moving side to side in a quick motion. She said she had never seen any plane move that quick side to side before.

As I was looking up I saw this white oval/round light moving slow with a halo around it. NO SOUND, but it was high. I saw it in a break in the high clouds. I watched to see it come out from the cloud it flew in or above. By the speed it was going it should’ve appeared in less than 10 seconds. It didn’t come back and I watched that spot for maybe 30 seconds. When I didn’t see it I got up and walked out so I could see more of the sky. There was high clouds as I said, but There was plenty of open space in the sky to see it. There was nothing to be seen. I watch the sky for maybe 8 or 10 minutes.

Was in back yard letting my dog use restroom!!! Out of the corner of my eye I saw a bright white sphere light heading west to east!!! By the time it got over me causing my head to turn directly upwards w/ my neck bent all the way back!!! I saw a slight translucent soft glow of a blue light surrounding the entire extremely bright white spherical orb!!! The white light sphere was incased w/in that soft blue glow while it passed directly over me @ a high rate of speed towards the east & then all of a sudden it started to fade away, until completely gone & disappeared all together!!! Which was hella strange!!! It didn't fly off where I couldn't see it anymore!!! It literally slowly disappeared just after passing over my head!!! It was to close to me for me NOT to still see it!!! Y'know!!! Keep in mind there was absolutely no noise, no additional blinking of lights of anykind whatsoever!!! There were other planes & helicopters flying around but they were to far from me to hear anything!!! Those other aircrafts were further away & I still could see their blinking lights like all aircrafts do!!! This particular light again didn't blink whatsoever & again was completely silent!!! The speed as to which is was going was a lot faster than any of the other aircrafts in the air!!! I looked up the International Space Station & it flew by over my area early this morning!!! So, I am absolutely complex as to what it was??? As it was between 6:00pm & 7:00pm!!! Very strange indeed it was!!!
