July 29th, 2016. UFO Sighting. Davenport, Florida Sitting on back deck by the pool around 10:00Pm on July 29th, 2016. Spotted a bright orange ball shaped object hovering slightly over my house. The object seemed to be able to move at varying speeds and very erratically. Ran upstairs to get my roommate and when I returned it was gone. My friend that was downstairs watching it said it flew back the direction it came from and disappeared. Wondering if anyone else spotted this object. Amazing lighted kites on the beach caused me 2-3 minutes of excitement. They were very high and as they were brought closer to our rental unit we realized they were very large kites. They could have easily been mistaken for a pair of UFO's. I have video and photos. Apparently kites, not UFOs. PD

We were outside in the backyard a repeated flashes of light was happening in the sky to the east of us - very large very round, this was not lightning. it was happening in the same place. over and over. There did not seem to be a pattern of the flashes. Also, the flashes seemed to be sort of circular shaped. VERY big in the sky. I remember thinking the flashes of light looked pink. Suddenly, it shot straight up, hovered, then descended back to where I had first seen it. I got up from my chair and rushed to the railing as it zipped across the sky to the east, where it then flew around in a tight circle maybe seven or eight times. It then shot clear across the sky towards the west...far enough I had to change positions on my deck to continue watching it. Quickly, but not as fast as it had just moved, it then flew back to the east and north. At this point, it was so distant and with the bright Moon, I could barely detect it. I sat back down hoping it might reappear. A minute or so went by, when it reappeared back in the area where it flew in circles before. It was doing this again, when it suddenly flew back towards the west and stopped roughly where I had first seen it. Just as quickly, it made what appeared to be a tight angular change (this is when I saw another red light and a blue light). At this point, it flew back to the east and out of my line of sight. As I sat hoping it would reappear again, I noticed a plane in the southwest. The speed seemed so much slower and I realized another thing. The plane made noise. This object seemed to be silent.

My wife and I were at a hotel on the beach in Daytona Beach Florida on 7/20/16. The hotel is on SR A1A about 2.0 miles south of US 92. The time was 8:52 PM and it had just turned dark. We were sitting in the lawn area overlooking the ocean when we heard several people in a parking lot next to us to the south speaking loudly and pointing to a blinking object in the sky. The object was about ½ mile south of our position, at about a 30–45 degree angle from our position, hovering over the beach at maybe 500’ (?). From our position it looked small maybe about the size of a penny held at arm’s length. It looked like a sphere with a ring around it, kind of like the planet Saturn. It had a lot of lights on it many different colors. Very bright white/silver, green maybe others, not sure. The white/silver lights were constant and there were others blinking. There was a violet one on the bottom that blinked a lot slower than the others, maybe once every second. The others were faster. The object hovered for about a minute that we observed. It then slowly turned west then south arcing slightly as it did. It then headed south slowly then VERY quickly picked up speed and continued south down the beach until we lost sight of it. My wife noted there was a small plane approaching the object from the north and when the plane got really close, the object turned and quickly sped away. As my wife said, "It hauled butt." I had difficulty getting my phone camera to focus in the dark, but managed to snap one picture as soon as I saw it, then started video recording for 30 seconds or so. I turned off video so I could snap another picture. When I turned it off, the object had started its turn. I turned the video back on until I lost sight of it. We are not sure what this was. It was definitely not a plane or helicopter. It couldn’t have been a drone as the drone would have to have been a big one, at least 10-15 feet in diameter. No other logical explanation to what we saw.

I kept my eye on the object for close to 10 seconds. The sky was fairly clear in all directions and in the very far distance I could see airplanes flying the normal flight routes, very faint but visible airplanes. After the ten second constant watch, the object vanished from sight. I said to my wife, "What the hell was that?' I explained what I saw, we pulled over to the west of A1A so I could attempt to locate what I thought was an airplane and track the aircraft with my eye. With a very clear 180 degree view of the western sky, I could not see nor could my wife see any aircraft heading west, north, east or south. I was stationary at this location for 10 minutes looking for any signs of a possible aircraft. Once again, the sky was very clear and cloud coverage was minimal. This very bright silver object vanished from sight. Nothing came through the three small grey clouds and I never saw it again

On July 16, 2016, I went to Satellite Beach with my family at the board walk we stop to take some family pictures, my camera caught a big round white sphere next to the sun, for an instance I thought it was the moon, but I turned my head and was able to see the moon clearly on the other side, then I took another picture of this strange body that looked like another planet, but bigger than the moon, I do have pictures of this sighting. My husband and I saw red, randomly flashing lights - sometimes the lights flashed in a linear fashion like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 down a row. Lights seemed like they went to or from the center in at times. There was a bit (30 seconds, 1 minute - 2 minutes) in between events. Then there was a golden light that was moved organically - like a fast moving bird - in curves and loops. Quick occurrences--like 3 seconds at a time. Went in the car to try and see if we could get closer, but weren’t able to locate it due to the tall houses in our neighborhood. When we came back we were still able to see it from the backyard in the same place.

I live in southern st johns county and went outside at approx 1:45 to retrieve something from my car when I noticed a reddish colored orb to the southwest just above the tree line which I first thought was a bright planet. After watching it for a while it seemed to have flashing lights and be moving very slowly so I monitored it to see if it was a plane or some kind of aircraft. I grabbed my binoculars out of my car so I could see more clearly. It looked like some kind of flying craft with multi-colored lights flashing in blue, red, and green. I went in and got my husband so he could tell me I was crazy and he came out and looked at it. He said he had no idea what out was, but out was pretty strange looking. It wasn't a plane because it was moving too slowly and appeared to be hovering and then moving at a slow speed. We were about to come back in the house and looked out to the west and saw a second one that looked exactly the same as the other, just above! the tree line. They looked to be about 5 miles away (I live about 2 miles from the ocean). Anyway, we came in at 2:20 after we lost sight of the first one behind the trees. Strange, never saw anything like that.

I walked outside to get my cigarettes from my car, when suddenly, I felt a strange feeling. I looked up and just beside the trees was a red and green flashing light, moving erratically in a zig-zag fashion, only to stop and hover for some time, leading me to conclude it was not a plane and could not be a star due to it's various flashing colors. A hazy beam of light could then be seen emanating from it as if searching for something. I stood there for nearly 10 minutes until I heard a dull humming noise coming from the direction of the UFO. I felt suddenly overwhelmed with fear and ran back inside.

I was in the neighborhood, hanging out late night with a friend. We were sitting at a bench in the neighborhood. I walked towards his car, when I noticed a light about 350-400 feet in the air above the tree line to the East. It looked like a star. Sort of yellow. From the yellow light was this funnel of light (sort of a cone) that was a sort of orange brown extending at a 5 o clock direction from the light. Inside the cone were three blinking white lights that alternated randomly. The blinking lights were spaced out evenly long ways inside the cone. My friend and I were perplexed, staring at this light, because we'd never seen something airborne act in that sort of fashion. After staring at the light for what seemed like 2 minutes (it could have been longer) the blinking dots stopped. Then the cone started to slightly disappear. Once it was gone, the light began to also fade away. Also forgot to mention that I was a sort of thin smoke pillar extend from the bottom of the cone to about halfway to the ground. Never touching the ground. Or even reaching the trees. The smoke went away first, then the cone, then the light. After that about 1 minute later, I heard and felt a low low rumble. Like very distant boulders falling from a cliff. And then over the course of the next 30 seconds the rumble grew louder and more intense. Parallel to the sound was a light eminating from past the tree line. I could see the atmosphere grow with light. I felt as though a nuclear bomb had dropped and the blast wave was imminent. The low hum/rumble was extremely frightening. I honestly thought I was going to die. After 30 seconds the sound stopped instantly. And the light faded. Something else to mention, I don't know if this is relevant, but there's a retention pond in the neighborhood. Inside the pond were frogs. Immediately after the rumbling light, the frogs all started to yip and make noise as a group. That lasted for another minute or two.

We saw something in the sky we cannot explain. Started lower than a plane and was definitely on fire. Moved steadily across our field of view. Within minutes, it rose and ultimately went completely out of sight. Way too big and fast to be a paper lantern gone awry. And it moved up, not down, so also not a meteor or anything falling to Earth. My 11 year old son saw it from the couch and pointed it out. I couldn't see it because of the glare of the inside lights. He ran to the slider and we went to the balcony. We live on the open water of Tampa Bay, so we have an unobstructed view of a large area of sky. I yelled to my husband upstairs to look out the window in the sky. He came downstairs and by then it was already out of sight of our balcony, around the building, but still low. We all rushed downstairs and out the front door and by then it was already high enough to see over our 3 story building. Hubby was also puzzled and ran between the buildings to get a better look. By the time we got there it was really high. Within 5-10 seconds it had completely disappeared out of sight, moving away and up from us until it was too small to see it, totally gone. It seemed slow passing the house but at the end it had to really be booking to disappear that quickly. It actually freaked son out quite a bit. His little heart was pounding. I posted on Facebook directly afterwards and someone recommended I put it on here.

Hello. My name is ((name deleted)). I am almost 32 years old and have been a resident of Cape Coral/Pine Island, Florida, for about 28 years now. I like to think that I know the area very well and I am familiar with most normal flight paths around. What myself and two other people saw in the night sky on July 8, 2016, was not normal in the least. I was driving home with a friend around 10:00 - 10:30 PM EST on this Friday night when I just happened to glance over to my left. At first I didn't think much about it. It was only 4 lights at first. As I kept looking over to my left, paying closer and closer attention to them, there were suddenly more of them, and they were grouping up with each other somehow. I immediately pulled over into a gas station parking lot and parked the car facing South toward the lights. By this time it had been about 4 minutes since I first noticed them. After watching these things for a few minutes just the two of us, another car pulled up next to me, asking if we had any idea what these strange lights were. He, too, had a cellphone camera out, with no luck in getting any sort of video or picture of them. Now the 3 of us are watching these things move around and witnessing their amazing and otherworldly maneuvering capabilities for a good 6-10 minutes until they started to disappear. They disappeared one at a time over a period of about 4-5 minutes, the first two going straight up into the sky, no sounds or big light trails to note. Another would start to move more noticeably, a couple of them eventually taking a more normal flight pattern and heading to the South or Southwest, fading away til gone. The others seemed to just fade away into the dark night sky, again, always one at a time. After a total of about 15 minutes, they were all gone. THE only video that came out with ANYTHING will prove only that someone else, someone not in the car with us originally, stopped for the same reason we did... To safely witness what I know was an amazing atmospheric anomaly! It was an experience that I will never forget and I am more interested in the unknown now than I've ever been. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITHESS)) Hi Peter, My villas backyard faces east and my clear field of vision from south to north. I would guess is if looking up 3 to 4 miles. I was entering the backyard when I saw the flash. It appeared in a straight line, no definable shape, but a massive light component to the north part of the flash. It appeared to be a few hundred feet above and beyond a picture I am enclosing of my back neighbors roofline. The width of the light was the width of theIr roofline. It may have been miles away but hated to give a perspective on the distance. The tail followed the entire distance of .my Vista south to north. Pic attached. Took the pics this morning. Did anyone else see this? This was not lightning. ((END ADDENDUM)) We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she sounded to us to be very sober-minded. We suspect that she is a highly reliable witness. PD

On the night of either July 6th or 7th, 2016 about 11:00pm-11:30, in Marathon Key, Fl. my husband and I were sitting in front of the Atlantic Ocean, both looking up at the stars in the sky. There were a few clouds around and a fair amount of stars, which was all we saw. We had been there approx. 10 or 15 min. looking into the sky. My husband was sitting to my left and looking to his left, and I glanced to my right. I saw 5 transparent rectangular shapes that were lit up, in a V or horseshoe formation, in the sky, above the horizon. They were not moving, they were very large and defined, all exactly alike, covering a good amount of sky, and they were not solid; I could see right through them to the sky behind them. I distinctly recall seeing a wispy cloud floating by in one of the rectangles. I didn’t see where the source of this huge pattern of light could be coming from, and in an instant they moved very rapidly, all together, upward in the sky, in a q! uick vertical motion and the “light” went out. I did not hear any sound. The sky was then exactly as it had been: dark, with stars. This all happened in probably 2 seconds; I was just about to say to my husband, “Do you see this?” but didn’t have time! I’ve never seen anything like this in my 53 years and I’m not one for flights of fancy. The only thing I can think of to compare it to (in a way), was some years ago when I was on a stargazing trip out on a boat and the tour guide had one of those laser pointers, which he would very briefly, point into the sky--- I remember how far the light seemed to travel and the way it lit up the sky in the area he pointed to….this rectangular light reminded me of that. But I’m not familiar with lasers and if they would be capable of doing the above as I described, with this huge shape and pattern. So I decided to search online and report what I saw here. It's almost 3 a.m. Earlier tonight we decided to take the five minute drive to the beach here on gorgeous Venice Island. The vibration around midnight is quiet and calm with the background sound of crickets starting to audibly tune in to the land's energy, or could it be that the sound is tuning the land and the airwaves? The Stars were a million in the sky. The New Moon was yesterday, July 4th, 2016. Tonight's sky was so clear without a moon, that looking at it made us feel as we we were one with all of the vastness. We are. Yes, we all are. We each had a beach blanket and a chair. Kaitlynn was on her beach blanket, staring up to the sky as I had my focus on my camera, looking away at the perfect time to catch a bright shooting star sailing across the sky. Within a 20 minute time she saw 4 more falling stars, as my eyes were intent on getting the perfect shot. The camera is new to me and it certainly doesn't lie. Ever. Especially when I'm a little shaky with the hand, it always tells the truth, and nothing but. My camera is my boyfriend. We sat back in the chairs for one last look before we left. Kaitlynn pointed towards the pier, slowly following something with her eyes and her pointer finger, asking if I see "that." I saw a blurry, short white line of faint, slow but steady flashing light, that appeared to be moving south to north amongst the top of the low clouds on the horizon. At first I thought an airplane, but the light was too smooth, too straight, and low, plus we could not hear anything to reference that it was a plane. A plane that close to the water would echo. It was silent. I said "Someone on the pier must have a laser." It did appear that they were shining a little laser light into the clouds, moving it forward. When it was at the point in front of us, it instantly changed course moving west to east under the surface of the water, directly toward us; dim, yet now, solid light. Its size did not change as it moved toward us, coming from the horizon. As its distance closed in on us, about 20 feet away under the surface of the water, Kaitlynn grasped onto her chair handles like bracing for something, this was real. The moment after she braced, it moved to the north a little and emerged about 10 feet away, 4 feet off of the ground, looking like a firefly, then gently hovering just over the sand. It lingered along the shore momentarily. Us, losing it in the darkness, like it was hiding it's light. It came to check if we had noticed it, and we had. We started to walk towards where it surfaced, but since it was not lighting up, we did not find it and had that certain feeling not to look for it any longer. I would think that it would appear to grow larger, the closer it came, true? It's mathematical. This did not change its size, although each atmosphere that it entered, it was a different and a constant other size. In the clouds it looked like a small plane but mathematics ruled that down to someone pointing a laser echoing in the humidity of the clouds. In the water it appeared as a quarter-sized white light, over the sand it was the size of a lightning bug and yellowish. Kaitlynn saw a blue color at some point too. Prior to the sighting, I wanted to hear a song that describes the sky perfectly since it fit the moment. A few lines are simple metaphors that we all can relate to. I love lyrics like that. "...the sky resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it." was this starry night. The song is Incubus' "I wish you were here." It goes on to say "I'm counting UFOs, signaling them with my lighter ... and in this moment I am happy. Happy." A few minutes later was the sighting. This is real. Whatever it is was mind-blowing. I don't know how else to describe it.

I thought it was another firework until it stopped falling and remained in one spot and grew in intensity. I watched it for about 20 seconds. Keeping my eyes on it I moved to the front door and opened it up. It hadn't moved from the spot. I called my wife and son to the door and they both watched with me as it grew smaller and smaller until it was gone.
