I was out in the country last weekend in Western New York State: between Geneseo and Lakeville, on the Western shore of Conesus Lake. At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 8, I saw an object go streaking across the sky – extremely fast, much faster than a plane. Although the trajectory looked like a satellite – very smooth and straight from east/southeast to west – it seemed quite close to the earth and flashed at regular intervals. The flashes were equal in intensity and strobe-like. The object disappeared between flashes and I was able to track it across the sky from flash to flash. I saw 4 or 5 flashes in all before it was out of my view. The flashes were white with another color (can't recall exactly what color). I would say the object was possibly rectangular or cylindrical. The whole episode lasted maybe 5 seconds to cross my entire field of view. Fast! I’ve briefly researched satellites and this sounds like a “tumbling” satellite, but seems that mine was going too fast for that. Or maybe it was close to Earth and that explains why it seemed to be so fast? I have seen one satellite in the past, from deep in the Grand Canyon, and that one was much tinier, fainter, steady (not flashing), and took longer to cross the sky. I am very curious as to what I saw. Perhaps it was some other sort of satellite? I don't think it was iridium as the iridium flash description I have read does not match what I saw. About me: I am a lover of the night sky with little technical knowledge. I live in the suburb of a large city so it is not often that I am in a dark enough place to really enjoy the stars. I have witnessed two meteor fireballs in my lifetime (one in the Grand Canyon), many asteroids, and one satellite. At heart I am a scientist and just wish I knew what that was. Thank you.

They seemed to be still then they started moving closer to each other passing each other. I looked it up on the internet, and they were exactly like the red dots that were filmed at a previous date in AZ. We suspect an evening sighting, and have changed the time above. We attempted to contact the two witnesses, husband and wife, but have not managed to reach them, yet. PD

Yankee Stadium for Joel Osteen meeting. At about 7:30 PM, I looked up into a clear blue sky and saw what could have been confused as a star. However it occurred to me that it was too light out and what I was seeing could not be a star, which then got my interest. Then I noticed another and another, until I counted about 6 objects. I observed these objects for a few minutes and then asked my family to observe what I saw. Everyone saw what I saw and some others around us started to look up as well. Only 1 object moved much but the others were stationary and for all intents and purposes just points in the sky. One had a definite orange to red color, but the others were a shade of silver. During the 30 minutes of observation numerous jets crisscrossed the sky, many at extreme altitude, but the points seemed to be higher. We all speculated as to what these things could be and we considered weather balloons, but felt uncertain as the objects were stationary (other than the one that moved slowly). In all, I missed about 45 minutes due to this distraction, and turned my attention to the event. When I checked the sky at dusk, all objects were gone.

I was sitting at Well Wood docks in Lindenhurst, NY. I was just chilling by the water waiting to pick up someone I saw a few planes fly by, until I saw a large black thing coming close to where u was. It got closer then it was in view I couldn't exactly see what it was but not plane or helicopter and def was not ballon it looked like a shape of man and device over him, or man on cross yes I know it sounds crazy but 4 other people saw it and was shocked it was floating till it stopped mid air rotate came back towards us then stopped floated the turn direction moved north I followed looking to see what it was but it was at least 100' feet up i followed about mile then it changed direction headed west where 2 other people said what is that we watched it hover and head west over Montauk hwy till it was gone I took pictures I even got in tuch with local news who said send pictures other people had call it in pictures aren't great sine took it with my iPhone

While driving, we spotted 2 flickering orange (fire colored) spherical, slow-moving silent objects in the sky. Since I was driving, I couldn't get a good depth perception. I knew right away that they were the same things I had seen sitting on my deck a few summers ago only that time there were three and they were much lower. I would guess that they were larger than a basketball but not bigger than exercise ball. Both times, they were moving faster than the wind current and seemed directed. I never did figure out what they were and still can't.

Was standing in Down by the boat launch in phoenix fishing. Looked away from the dam and saw two lights. One was white, and one was Orange and they appeared to be moving away from one another. As the White one got closer to my location I could see that it was a plane, due to the red and white blinking lights on the bottom. The orange one had vanished from sight at that point. I turned back to look at my fishing pole and I noticed that the orange one was now flying a crossed my field of view. as it flew past there was no sound, no blinking lights. It was a very bright orange, and it bobbed up and down slightly at times as it flew passed. No markings or lights that would be seen on a commercial aircraft were visible. It was also moving at an odd speed for an aircraft. As it got further away, the light just went out and it vanished.

I let my dog out each night approx the same time. At about 9:55pm I let her out into the yard. I noticed a red circular light coming from the southwest going in a straight path going to the northwest and then it just disappeared over the high school. It was a silent, singular light. We had a carnival across the street and the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach that weekend. I don't know if that attracted this thing. Lucky for me, my son was in the kitchen and I called him to look so I had a witness. The next night at about the same time I saw a silent circular white light along the same path but then another circular light came from the north going south and they passed each other. I couldn't watch both of them so I continued looking at the one going north. Again it disappeared over the high school. I did not have another witness for this night. While spending Memorial day weekend in the Long Island/NYC area, I visited the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. The day was Sunday, May 25th, 2014. After touring the top deck and interior I made my way down the stairs to the adjacent dock area. There were already multiple news and tour helicopters making their way up the Hudson River, while a US Coast Guard MH-65 was performing a Search and Rescue Demo (for NY Fleet Week) over the waterfront so naturally I had my eyes towards the sky, at just after noon (anywhere between 12:00 and 12:30) I noticed a small object at high altitude over the Hudson. At first I suspected it to be merely a balloon, however after examining the object for a few seconds I noticed it appeared to be considerably larger than a normal balloon and it was hovering in place as if not affected by the present winds which a balloon would be. Its coloration was also interesting, it appeared to mostly be a metallic grey or silver on the! surface. I pointed it out to my father who quickly dismissed it as probably being a balloon (although he said he couldn't see it very well). I began snapping photos of the object with my IPhone 5. I estimated the objects altitude to be around 4,000-5,000 feet because it was a lot higher than the helicopters flying up the Hudson but much lower than the occasional passing commercial airliner out of JFK airport, I had no way of guessing the objects size due to its distance and lack of anything close enough to it to compare it with, though it did appear to be larger than a balloon. After a few minutes the object began a slow flight path moving diagonally but remaining at the same altitude, I began backing up to keep the object in view while taking pictures but it soon passed over the deck of the Intrepid and out of sight. Although I didn't run into any other witnesses I think it is unlikely that I was the only one who saw it due to the sheer number of people in the area. Upon uploading and reviewing the photos on my computer the following day, I noticed several things that I didn't notice while viewing the object, The first few pictures showed exactly what I saw, a small rounded shiny metallic object hovering. However, as I looked through the pictures I noticed the object had a darker, shaded edge in some pictures giving it more of a definitive shape (this may have been due to the sun reflecting from the other side of the object) while in other photos the object appeared to be very bright and shiny. One of the photos the object is completely dark except for a small ring of light in the center that appears to be generated by the object, the rest of the object appears much more like a structured craft here with less of a circular shape and two corners on one side. The final photos show the object again to be metallic and silver with the upper half being brighter (almost a whitish blue) and the lower half being a darker grey, there are also several dark patches on the edges of the object. I have always been intrigued by the UFO phenomenon but have mostly remained a skeptic however I am questioning it now. All I can say is that while knowing a lot about aviation and can easily identify most airplanes or helicopters, this object I witnessed and photographed did not move like or resemble any normal aircraft that I have seen in my life.

I went outside to sit the sun, following a few brief rain showers and while looking up at the cloud's edge to west, I saw a small shiny oval dashing about. The closer it came to me overhead, the neighbor's dog began to bark. This oval went from west to east to south to north and then disappeared from sight going to the southwest. I noticed a faint halo, like a force field around this object and as it got closer to the sun, a metallic like shine could also be seen. Its speed was tremendous and its ability to turn and twist in different directions was astonishing. It was completely silent and about the size of a jet airliner and probably about in same altitude as a jet airliner. If I were categorize the object I just observed, I'd say that it is exactly identical to the objects filmed in the 1950 Great Falls, Montana, film, but more oval in shape.

In the Bronx, one of the five boroughs of New York City, In a fourteenth floor apartment with a terrace,as I was smoking a cigarette in the terrace, I saw Three yellow orbes decend over my right side of view. I was in awe. They stood hovering for about three minutes. One went in the direction over my building. I couldn't see where he was. But the other two stood hovering were they decended from. Shortly, the two orbes went east. One led the way the other followed. Then the other that I couldn't see came back to follow the others. I woke my mother from her sleep. I didn't want to be the only one seeing this phenomena. I wonder, did anyone else see what I saw. Many people here go to sleep late.

5 miles South of Lake Ontario...I was driving North and saw a very bright yellowish light, I thought it was a plane, but it would have been either very large, or very close. As I was driving North, it kept getting lower and lower and I'm thinking, it's going to either land or crash. As I turned and started heading East, I saw another one...as I was driving about 55, It appeared to be moving to the east also, but that could have been an optical illusion as it was so large. There appeared to be smoke trails following it. I arrived at my destination and walked around the side of the building where another customer approached me and asked if I was ok...I pointed to the sky. We could see 2 of the very large bright lights, and as we watched the surrounding sky was turning different shades of pale red. After I came out of the store and started heading North again, I noticed a group of people in a parking lot watching one and taking pictures. I stopped and asked if we were getting invaded and they were like...maybe...I drove home heading West and saw 2 of them...one got lower and lower and finally went out, but the other appeared to be traveling West. I arrived home and looked North and could one through the trees. I ran inside for my camera, but when I got back it was gone. Walked to the end of the road and the other was gone too. I saw this at 12:45 am - 1:10 am.

Saturday night i was smoking a joint, and i saw this weird light flying by my house, i started video taping with my iphone but the quality didn't capture the light but i kept the camera recording. Once the light flew away and disappeared i whistled (to get its attention lol i was high) and then a very loud high frequency noise came from the direction of where the light disapeared from. You can hear it on the video i posted.

At almost 5 or 10 minute intervals, first one fire ball moving from west to east along the south shore of Long Island. Burnt orange in color, cruising at a low altitude with absolutely no noise. Then the second, then 2 together, then the 5th and then the 6th at about 10:30 p.m. Shortly after each passed us, the light flickered as if it was going through a cloud, and then went out completely - but there are no clouds in the sky this evening, and the stars are clearly visible. Each of the 6 did this. We looked at the last one through binoculars, and the orange lights seemed to be in a honeycomb hexagonal pattern. One military jet flew from east to west and veered south between the 4th and 5th sighting. My friend took a video with her phone.

Looking up at the moon, close to a star on the right side of the moon, a white dot appeared; started moving to the right. Light was not flashing, and moved faster than an airplane but slower than a shooting star. Light moved approximately 2.5ft, from point of view, before it completely disappeared. It didn't get dim during disappearing time, and sky was clear with no clouds to block view of path.

I was on my way to work to pick up my check. As soon as I pulled out of my driveway and turned onto Backstretch Path I saw about 5 glowing bright orange orbs floating around past Lakeshore Road. I pulled the car over because I was simply baffled by the sight. I then turned around, pulled back up into my driveway and proceeded to get my family and show them the orbs. The orbs all moved in the same direction and they wavered a little up and down. Sometimes one or two of them would move really fast and then suddenly slow down again. a couple minutes after that they moved out of sight.
