Last time, I wasn't sure if it was a UFO, but this time, I got a real picture. I was burning some wood on the farm, and then I noticed a small contrail in the sky. I thought, hmm, okay I will take a picture. I took one, the trail was small. Then I took another, then it was slightly bigger. I watched it until it seemed to go away behind trees or leave the atmosphere, but I did see the aircraft seem to stop moving or slow down. I couldn't see it for a long time. When I looked at my phone and zoomed in, there seems to be a sphere aircraft of some kind at the end of the trail. Can you guys examine it too see if it. We believe a contrail behind a jet. PD

3 objects were noted to be flying in the South/East sky flying directly over Wenatchee and moving slowly to the West. All three were flashing lights. The center one was mostly red and flashing faster than the other two. The two on the outside perimeter were mostly white with some flashing slightly reddish. They seemed to move in unison, slowly across the sky. I would say there was some distance between them. We are out almost nightly observing the night sky and have never seen these lights before. Not anything normal out of Pangborn Airport I would venture to say. We live at the top of a Canyon and have an excellent view of the Wenatchee Valley.

The aircraft was an orange, metallic, oval shaped cone. It was hovering near Marysville, and heading toward a mountain. During the experience the aircraft shined brightly and was now white and harder to see. It was not in the shape of a plane. It wasn't a plane because it was hovering and slightly angled itself to go lower than went straight again. I will still send pictures but I couldn't see the aircraft in the photo and the photos were distorted in some ways. I was in the car ask it could be a car reflection but I will send it anyways.

After about 20 minutes a second light east of the first caught my eye doing the same motions, but this one was solid yellow/light orange. I got bored of watching after nearly an hour and went inside. Possible sighting of a star or planet?? PD

TO: UFO REPORTING CENTER DATE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 24. TIME: 23:30 PLACE: 2 MILES EAST OF THE CITY OF ANACORTES, WA, ON STATE HIGHWAY 20. My wife and I were coming home from a play in Bellingham. I was driving West on St Highway 20, 3 miles east of Anacortes. As I was watching the next set of traffic lights, I noticed something that caught my eye above the traffic lights. They seemed to be off the coast and over the water. I drove through the intersection and they were still there. There were about 8 yellowish colored lights in a circle about 25 degrees above the horizon. Down and to the left of the larger circle formation there was another formation. It was smaller, maybe 5 lights. The lights stayed in place, and did not change their relationship for a couple minutes. We then pulled over on the highway near another car that had stopped and was also looking at the lights. Then the lights started to change their spatial relationship with the other lights. There was no audible noise. The lights then started to just fade out one at a time. It was cloudy and some fog outside. My wife during this time had gotten out of the car and was attempting to photograph them with her phone. We live in Oak Harbor, which is home to Whidbey Naval Air Base. We are very familiar with the Navy planes. They usually fly in pairs and at most 3-4 planes in a formation. I am a private pilot and very familiar with the airspace and the planes that fly in it. It was hard to judge how far away the lights were, but they were not airplanes or helicopters.

I was driving home from work around 11:30pm, Saturday 1/24, on Hwy 20. I saw some orange-ish/ golden lights in the sky forming two circular patterns. As I was driving, I was not sure what I was looking at so I decided to pull over as I was coming around the bay. The lights were southwest of where I was parked alongside the highway. The lights were there for a few minutes, and then one by one they disappeared. I've never seen anything like this, I still have no idea what I saw.

I was out side the house and I looked up to see a red light that had evidently just pass over me from behind. Though I do not know how high it was, it did not seem to be be more than several thousand feet up. The fact that I heard no noise was strange. All the time the object was red with a green blinking light. The object continued on a short ways in front of me(heading south)and then it hovered for a short while and then backed up, then in move to my right (west) and stopped again. I just went outside again and I note it is overcast outside. As the red light did not seem to be obscured at all, this seems to verify the fact that it could not have been to high in the sky. Aside from me my mother also saw this after I called her out side. She is 93 and I am in my mid 50's. I am college educated and have seen aircraft all of my life. As Ft. Lewis in nearby, I am accustom to seeing the aircraft they operate a lot and this was nothing like like a helicopter. When it stopped there was no deceleration and when it moved again there was no acceleration. Though its speed was about the same as a helicopter, the fact that it made no noise at all makes me think it was something else. As it flew away, it was heading to the southwest towards the Olympia Airport.

At approximately 20:50, myself and one other witnessed an orange orb shoot straight up over Portland, 10' west or Orion on a NW course. Once it was out of site a second one appeared and took the same path. Each one took approximately a minute or less to go out of view. As the second orb was to go out of view, the second appeared with a red light as if to signal the second and then both were gone. No sonic boom or FAA lights on either craft. We were viewing NW of the airport and planes were taking off NE of these orbs. Witness works as a medical professional. PD

About 15:33 local time, saw an object far in the distance, ascending from the horizon at what appeared to be a very steep angle and leaving a smoke/vapor trail (reminded me of a rocket or missile launch). Thought it looked a little unusual, until I observed it make a very sharp, practically right angle turn. Looked to be travelling at a high rate of speed and not manoeuvering like a commercial aircraft. Object continued moving somewhat level until appearing to enter another, more gentle turn while still climbing steeply (trail was more of an arc than another right angle). Object was actually turning closer to me. As it started to get closer, it became even more apparent that it was travelling extremely fast. The really curious part came as the aircraft travelled directly overhead. It looked to be very high up, flying above the wispy cloud cover, and as it flew over, coincidentally, there was a commercial airliner passing underneath it. Based on those observations, it looked to be too big to be a fighter. As well, its shape (and coloring) did not really match any aircraft I am familiar with. More flying wedge than plane with wings. It looked more SpaceX than F-22 or F-35 (or any other active/inactive US military aircraft). Most assuredly man made, but very unusual all the same. ((ADDENDUM #1 FROM WITNESS)) Hi, Here are a few images I took of the event in question. I Wish now I had taken a video, but this is not the sort of thing I see every day and was wanting to watch it with my own eyes as much as possible. The blue area on the map picture shows the general line of sight where I was looking when first observing the craft (S/SE). My vantage point is the dot at the apex of the traingular area. Again, I really wish I had recored a video, but would probably not have gotten anything usable as it passed overhead anyways due to the awkward angle of trying to blindly aim a camera almost straight up and out my window as it flew over. I'm sure overall, this is a pretty pedestrain report (and not really alien), but some of he crafts movements didn't seem quite 'right', and it's shape was certainly unique. I pulled my phone out to record a video, but it didn't happen again. The lights flashed like heat lightning would, but it wasn't a white light. It was a blue-green flash and then a red flash.

On Thursday evening, 1/15/15, my wife and I were driving north on Mullis Street, even with the adjacent airport north end (runway 16) less than ¼ mile from Spring Street, which is the main street of the town of Friday Harbor, Washington, on San Juan Island, USA. It was dark, 18:30, when we saw three separate bright orange lights flying over the town descending from the north east in the direction of the airport. My first impression was three aircraft on a very low approach to land at the Friday Harbor Airport. I stopped our car so we could watch, since the lights were starting to bob up and down. I said they had to be helicopters. But then they almost appeared to be going down behind the buildings in town. They stopped getting closer and suddenly started climbing at a very high speed headed back northwest. They grew dimmer, and one at a time, blinked out and were gone. The whole duration of this sighting was about two minutes. I kept trying to find an explanation for what we were seeing. I wish I had immediately reached for my I-phone to get a video. I knew they were unconventional aircraft since they didn’t have red and green navigation lights. Then the erratic flight and changing speed ruled out any aircraft I have ever seen. My wife and I are both private pilots and have flown into the Friday Harbor airport hundreds of times.

I stepped out on my back deck in which I have a full view of the Cascade Mountain range. A stationary orange light above the cloud line caught my attention. It started to move slowly and I just figured it was an airplane coming towards me at a strange angle. Then it instantly shifted direction and stopped. Then went in another direction and kept moving slowly. I called my son from the front room and said, "You gotta see this thing". We both watched it and tried to figure out what it could be. It then started moving slowly horizontally for some distance and stopped again. Then made a vertical descent almost to the ground. This is when I could estimate how close it was as it was in front of the hill in my sight line. I'd say about a mile. Then it was just gone.

There were three bright white lights in the southwest, low in the sky. The lowest light moved vertically, and then we turned the car around to get a better view. By the time we where able to see them again there was only one bright light left. Around the only remaining bright light, there were tiny red blinking lights. I'm not sure if there were many different objects, or if there were just a few that were quickly moving side to side.

It was a partly cloudy night and my husband was taking the trash out to the garbage can when he spotted 4 orange circular lights in the sky flying straight up into the air. They were traveling at a very fast rate to the south southeast of my location. The airforce base and airport around here is to the west of where I live. After some time of going straight up, they began curving slightly towards the left and started gradually disappearing. They were moving so fast that by the time I ran inside to grab my phone to record video, there were only 2 dots left. There was no sound, but my husband said he thought he saw black particles beneath the dots which made him think fireworks, but there were no explosions or sparkles of light normally associated with fireworks.

3 steady white lights brightness and size of stars in triangle shape observed 30 degrees above horizon in east going east. Spacing between lights approximately 1-1.5 full moons. Slow and steady movement east for 30 seconds observed. All faded out at same time much like a satellite. We spoke with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite eloquent, sincere, and sober-minded. We will check to see whether the objects might have been the three Chinese satellites, which currently orbit the Earth in a triplet formation. PD

At approximately 9:00 pm on January 2, 2015, I stepped out on my back porch to have a cigarette. In the south eastern sky I saw a triangular pattern of lights. The lights were reddish orange in color; the brightest of the lights was at the top point of the triangle. The two bottom points of the triangle were slightly dimmer. There were dimmer lights along the connecting points of the triangle. It took me a minute to comprehend what I was seeing, it was amazing. As the lights were getting dimmer, I shouted to my sister in the house to hurry and come see this. When I first saw this triangle there were approximately 10 lights. By the time my sister saw them, there were only about 5, with the brighter points of the triangle still visible. All of the lights got dimmer and faded away, some of the lights veered off from the triangular pattern.

At 7:21pm I was departing out of the Brotherhood Lounge in Olympia after a few drinks to catch the last bus to Aberdeen/Hoquiam which left at 7:20pm. As I ran out the door of the bar I turned the WIFI off on my phone and bolted across the street. I don't recall any traffic coming towards me or around me as everything appeared silent, so began to cut across the parking lot near where the bus departed, as I was near the middle of the parking lot this bright light appeared above me. Knowing that is was not the moon as that was visible in the sky this orbital light was practically a spotlight illuminating a circle on the ground around me. Phone still in hand I pointed upwards to it and held the photo button down snapping these 4 HD shots before my phone went black and rebooted itself immediately with the Apple icon. I laughed because of how the damn thing decided to reset itself and with the quickness. Next thing I know time warped, it slowed dramatically as alm! ost like moving through Jello. I recall being angry that I was force-ably being slowed as I needed to catch that bus as it's the LAST bus to the area I was going to. Struggling through the atmospheric pressure I saw the light around me became a yellowish/orange hue.....now I've seen something like this before many years ago but was startled at this moment. I recall the light above me feeling like some sort of stealth silent helicopter as waves went through my body like being in a MRI/CATSCAN and then everything went bright white and POW! Next thing I know I'm standing in thick fog bank of the side of the road feeling a bit bewildered of my surroundings but yet calmly okay. Nervous, I light a cigarette and immediately my body rejects it causing me to vomit, I take a second drag and it happens again. Music begins playing through my headphones I'm wearing which were previously in my backpack as I cut across the parking lot. The music is the Gorillaz song 99-2000, I look to my left and her comes the bus through the fog. I pitch the smoke and wave the bus down, it stops....door opens and the gal driver says, "I almost missed you there as it's not a normal bus stop." I thank her stopping and go to place what typically costs me $3 into the drop box and she say's it's only $1 which I kinda shrug off as the money dropped and figured I just payed it forward on some deal they have going on. She asks me if I am okay, I say yes and get on the bus....as I look down at the people on the bus they all had this "odd" smile on their faces and a orange glow or aura about them. I sit down and end up messing with this guys backpack reorganizing his stuff in it without him noticing. I comment to the bus driver how she's doing a fine job cutting through this fog and the guy who's backpack I'm messing with, without looking at me says we are dealing with "Flice" which is supposed to be fog ice....like I was supposed to know exactly what that meant. I zip his pack up without anyone else noticing and listen to the song playing through my headphones and then realize as we pull out of the fog bank a ways, we are actually about 20 minutes to Aberdeen, WA. I know now that I "reappeared" in Montesanno about 40 miles from Olympia and I somehow beat the bus which takes about an hour to get to where it picked me up. WTF!??!?!??!? I road the bus in to town and got off the bus doing a quick magic effect with my hat and a tangerine which I gave to the driver when she acted surprised and thanked her for the night. Once off the bus, I light another cigarette, and immediately rejected it, vomiting again and walked to a local bar called the Ace of Clubs. I forcefully choked down the smoke between gags and then went inside. I turned my WIFI back on and light flickered as I walked in. I didn't make eye contact and asked the female bartender for a PBR....and began uploading the photos I took to a group on Facebook that I'm a member of and start typing out what happened via my phone. I began to tremble a bit and the photos give me a problem with not uploading in sequence and I'm pissed at my phone as I continue to type and that bartender asks me if I am okay? I look up at hear and say, "No...yes...well no...I'm not sure....something just happened to me that I cannot explain. Will you please look at me and tell me if I appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or something?" She tell me I look perfectly sober and I began to tell her what happened showing her the images. She listens, I cry. She walks away and walks back I tell her some more and then her husband comes over eye looking all blurry but with a grin on his face as he begins rubbing my back. He was a large man with very warm hands and asks me if I am okay? I tell him the same thing I originally said to her and begin to describe the light I saw and he walks away shaking someone else's hand and I grab my phone, jacket and bag and split trying to video chat my buddy via my phone and having total glitch errors with it all. I walk across the street and check my bank balance and light another cigarette to no problem as I walked off towards my mother's house. I don't know what truly happened from that parking lot in Olympia to that fog banked road in Montesanno but I do know that this IS exactly what happened to me.

On New Years Day 2015 at approximately 10:13 p.m., we were just returning from going to the store and noticed a large, silent, flying object (to the east) that was bright orange (like fire) and hovered. The night was slient - no sounds of planes, helicopters, or the like. In fact, there were no sounds at all - not even of other vehicles or animals - only silence and us quietly discussing what we thought it was we were seeing. Because we knew this was not an airplane or helicopter, I suggested taking photographs with my cell phone. We took two photographs, one directly after the other (both logged at 10:14 p.m.); the changing shape of the object is evident in them. It was bright orange in color, yet had a fog like haze around its perimeter. I stated while viewing it that when really focusing on it with the naked eye, it appeared to be round in shape with a trail or "spotlight" appearing to be shining downwards. Then, the object appeared to r! ise in altitude, the orange "lights" dimmed, brightened again very briefly and then it completely vanished leaving us feeling bewildered, curious, a tad bit nervous, but yet excited. When it was all over with and we were discussing what we thought it was that we had seen and whether people would think we had lost our minds if we mentioned it, we heard cows mooing. In fact, I made the statement, "The cows are unhappy about something." They continued to moo for at least an hour as if they were upset by something. Prior to releasing the photographs that we have, we would love to speak with an investigator. We are also interested in whether anyone else reported this as we believe we cannot have been the only two people who witnessed this.

At 12:10 AM, I looked out the window to watch the local territorial New Year’s fireworks. The night sky was clear of haze or clouds, which is unusual for our area this time of year. High in the sky (much higher than the city fireworks displays), I saw a bright orange round ‘fireball’. The object looked unusual to me, so I grabbed my 50x binoculars to get a closer look. Watching through the binoculars, I could see that the fireball was slowly moving from east to west. After a few minutes, a commercial airplane flew from west to east, lower in the sky than the object, perhaps originating from SeaTac airport. As the airplane neared the fireball vertically, the orange fireball light went out, but I could see the faint circular or oval shape of the object since I had been tracking it through the binoculars. After a minute or two the outline became fainter and I lost visual track of the object even through my binoculars. The orange object reappeared after a few minutes moving lower in the sky from west to east. I had the other witness look through the window and by then we observed two orange objects moving from west to east. We lost view of the objects as they past our local tree line after a few minutes. I have never seen this type of flying object. ((ADDENDUM #1 FROM WITNESS)) Hi Peter, Well, to tell the truth I am actually in Renton, but I put in a nearby Seattle area with a different zip code with a similar view in order to remain somewhat anonymous online. So you could use Bryn Mawr as the neighborhood online if you would like to be more specific. I was intrerested to see that you seem to have received quite a few orange fire ball type sightings from across the country. Thanks for your reporting database. It was on New Year’s Eve 2014 at about 10:15pm. I went outside in the back yard to walk next door. My son was over at the neighbor. It was a clear night and as I stepped out in the back yard, I looked up in the southeast sky and saw one orange orb like light that hardly moved. I could only tell it was moving because of one bright star off to the left of the orange light. It was not blinking there was no noise of a plane or other aircraft. Then about 30 seconds the light disappeared. Immediately after the first one disappeared another orange like orb formed slightly to the left and down from where I saw the first light. This one moved in the same manner as the first but after about 40 seconds it too disappeared. Then two more orange orbs appeared. I was trying to get the attention of my neighbor and his girlfriend and my two boys. Then the girlfriend came out and saw the two orbs and asked said, “What the heck is that?” Then my two boys and neighbor all came out and we watched this go on orbs appearing and disappearing for about 2 more minutes. Then 3 orbs appeared into a tangier shape, and moved from east to west. Then one orb went out leaving two which seemed to move faster than the others but not by much. Then the other two disappeared. Before all three disappeared, I had got my other neighbor to see what we were seeing and he was really not sure what to think. Then another one showed up but more off to the right from the others. This one seemed to be the same size but appeared to change colors like red, green and blue and kind of was spinning. Then that went away and one last smaller orb showed up to the left of the colorful one and then went away. Then there was no more light or orbs.

Orange ball coming from north to south in sky, about size do dime at arm's length, traveling very slowly and with no sound. It was so unusual I ran outside onto the front porch in my bare feet to see it. There was no sound, it was flickering orange, there were NO red/green port starboard light. When it reached to the point of being overhead it slowly dimmed and disappeared. A second one showed up following same track and also dimmed after passing overhead and disappeared. Shortly after an aircraft passing by to the west was completely audible and identifiable as a plane went by to the west. What we saw was not a plane, it was not a meteor, Don't know what it was. Tow observers, first saw it from inside the house. Lasted about 15 minutes overall, 10 minutes between. Witness provides no contact information. PD

Saw around 10 or more round lights drifting from east to west in the southern sky at different angles in the horizon, from about 30 to 70 degrees. Some seemed allot closer then others. The first set of three I noticed were very large in the sky. They appeared out of nowhere and disappeared without any speed or movement. There was no noise, smell, contrail, or erratic movement. They usually appeared in groups of three and spread out over the horizon in a triangle formation, although they did not keep a tight triangle formation. They didn't flicker, and the colors were fairly constant. I assumed that they were lanterns, but they seem too bright and too round. But their movement and disappearance would be consistent with lanterns. It was also new years eve which makes me think they are lanterns. The appeared and disappeared for around 20 minutes to a half and hour. On viewing the video #1750, I noticed a second light or lights above the "lantern." This light can be viewed on at the 8 to 10 second part. It is directly above the "lantern" and appears and disappears and changes color from red to blue to white. Bright red light, with rays coming off like a star, came over the hills from the the west. It slowly came down into the valley and then went quickly went up into the sky becoming smaller looking like a red star. As the first one was going up, a second bright light came over same hill and slowly came down into valley and proceeded a little further down the valley. Just before it started up into the sky, a third bright red light came over the same hill and as it came into the valley the second red light quickly went up into the sky. Before the second light disappeared, a fourth bright red light came over the same hill, as the third light was going more over Wenatchee. Then, the third and fourth bright red lights went quickly up into the sky quickly becoming smaller lights, the same size in appearance as the stars in the sky, then they were gone. All of this occurring within a 15 minute time span.
