My Wife & I were looking at the full Moon with binoculars, when we noticed a flickering reddish blue object in the northern sky. The lights kept changing from red to blue and appeared to be stationary. We watched for about 10 minutes then went back inside. We went back outside an hour later and the strange lights were in the eastern sky. The full moon had only moved a short distance as compared to the strange lights were seen on the opposite side of the night sky. The lights keep changing from red to blue but the object seems to be stationary. We are going back outside to see if we can still see the lights. It's 2:00am est. Possible "twinkling" star?? PD

Last night, my 3 friends and I were on the roof in Manhattan. We had a few bottles of wine, so we were a little warm, but not incoherent. It was bright out because of the supermoon, so we had a clear view. My friend, who pointed in the air, then told us to look. 3 of the 4 of us saw what looked like a thick blackish-gray disc, hovering in the air a few hundred feet out. It was not a plane, because we had seen many moving around that night. I thought it was a balloon floating up but my friend and I stood up and approached the edge of the rooftop to get a better view and I quickly ruled that out. What I personally saw was something that looked large enough to not be a balloon, and it was definitely oscillating. It made no sound, but I did not expect it to at our distance. I rationalized at first it was a balloon floating from the light into the atmosphere and thus disappearing, but something was off about that idea. However, as I approached it went from a darker color to gray, and then disappeared almost as if backing away. We all 3 were very creeped out and thought it was a drone or definitely a UFO. Still thinking about it, but it moved so quickly away once I approached it, I couldn’t really process things. Anyway, definitely saw a UFO last night and first time I have ever posted something like this.

We witnessed an orange colored light travelling northwest in the direction of Lake Ontario and ultimately into Canada. This object showed no obvious aircraft navigational lights and the color of the visible light was not that of an ordinary aircraft. There was no sound from this object as well. Elevation was approximately at 3000 ft. Line of travel was straight and speed was constant.

A friend and I were camping at Westcott State Beach Park up in Sacket’s Harbor, N.Y., the week of August 4th, until August 8th, 2014. One night I stepped out of the camper to have a cigarette and to look at the stars. We both live in the city (Syracuse, N.Y.) so it’s rare to be able to gaze at the beautiful sky. After a couple of minutes, I saw a few red lights in a line and, at first, thought it was a plane. However, it didn’t seem quite right. There was no noise as in a plane’s engine. The lights were a little too big and bright to be close and yet be silent. If it was a plane of any size, it would be making noise. The lights would go from red to white, red to white. Then all of a sudden, they just disappeared. They did not fade away or drift off, just disappeared. As if the lights were shut off. After seeing a few more appear above the lake, I went in to tell my friend, who came outside and saw them just before they disappeared. She, being more of a skeptic, thought it was a plane. However, the way they just hovered there, moved slowly, three at a time, right across the sky and then to just vanish was unsettling. If I remember correctly there were nine or twelve. They were definitely grouped in threes. They came all in a straight line over the clear sky.

I was walking with my 3 kids to bus stop waiting for bus decided to take some pics of my kids I turned camera on phone to selfie cam trying to get right spot for keep and my daughter to fit for a pic I look in camera I see dark black spot like a ball over my head in pic I turn around I couldn't see anything I show my daughter she saw exact same thing going bigger then smaller like a dialating eye I snapped a pic quick turned phone to front cam it was still therethe gone nothing it didn't fly away it disappeared I walked home with shaking hands I'm a sceptic but I can't explain that no matter how hard I try if I zoom on pic u can see what look like heat waves around it even stranger I have a new phone and when I tried to video it would kick me out of the camera

While waiting for my dog to do her business, I noticed what I thought was a cluster of stars, about 5 or 6, and thought it was kind of odd. It was cloudy and raining. After watching for a few minutes they started to move around. Mostly circles and figure 8's. After watching for about 10 minutes there was a line of a dozen or so and then they just disappeared. Two were moving in circles until they finally zipped towards the east. There was also what appeared to be a spotlight go across the sky a few times. This happened slightly to the north of the airport. Lived here 15 years and never saw anything like the spotlight. (or cluster of "stars" moving around through clouds.)

Light would go out on one and then turn on on others. Very big. Crafts did not move when illuminated, moved when the light was off. Completely illuminated orb. Very bright.

I was heading north on route 9, and I had stopped at the light on route 9 and route 52. I watched a moving round burning object moving slowly over Fishkill heading in a northern direction. I saw it outside my drivers window. This lasted about 1 minute and then just disappeared. It definitely wasn't a plane or helicopter, because it was too low for a plane and didn't move like a helicopter. I also listened for any sounds of a plane or helicopter and I didn't hear neither. I took a picture and video but it didn't come out too well on my camera phone.

What was it? 4 in my home witnessed this as well as the car that pulled over to view this sight an asking us if we were seeing it too. I was standing in my backyard and when I looked up, I saw a solid, bright red, circular object. It was flying at a low altitude and it passed right above me, overhead. The object was traveling south and it was descending at a very slow speed. It appeared to be under intelligent control, it was not free falling or flying erratically. It lasted about a minute and then it faded out to black in the nightime sky and completely disappeared, almost like it had become cloaked by turning invisible. The object had no visible flashing lights,it was only bright red in color. There was no sound whatsoever. The sky was mostly cloudy and it had just rained about 40 minutes prior to the sighting. There was also a plane spotted to the west of where the ufo was located at the same time.

We were driving down the nys thruway near exit 20 and saw 3 bright lights in the sky in a perfect Triangle formation. At first we thought it may be a plane but the lights were stationary and too far apart. Then we thought it may have been a tower, but on closer inspection there was nothing under the lights and it was directly over the highway. It was hovering over the highway and making no noise. Thank you for your understanding and for all you do.... =============================================================================== FINAL SUBMISSION On July 28, 2014 at approximately 10:40 PM upon a clear night sky a defined (defined boundaries) elongated rectangular brightly illuminated fast moving streak of white light silently traveled at a high rate of speed from east to west at a “discernible” low altitude. It left behind a barely visible white slightly illuminated short white trail, possibly a reflection or heat signature. Because of the objects constant defined shape and absolute straightforward, deliberate parallel trajectory object did not resemble shooting star, meteorite, or similar natural object....

Unidentified swirling light over NYC. The light was blue colored and moved like a house fly - not like an airplane or helicopter. There was one bright end and one strobe end of the light. It was like the two ends were chasing each other. The object resembled a DNA strand moving rapidly in a snake light pattern with bright blue flashing lights. At 10:03 p.m. myself, a former law enforcement agent, and my boyfriend, a high school teacher, observed a string of lights in the sky from the Assembly Point peninsula. The lights looked like a string of white Christmas lights that were twinkling brightly and then dimmed while gaining more distance upward. They seemed close at first, and we thought they were remnants of fireworks we heard earlier, but they continued traveling and dimming with distance. Three of them in triangle formation and the other five came out one at a time and one went straight up and others flew north. They came up over the tree line down the road and the three flew sideways and then went north and the other four flew sideways and went up and down fast then headed north. They came out a couple minutes apart except the first three all together. My dog also barked every time I saw them. The lights were a reddish orange color. No noise and no blinking lights.

Driving home from dinner my wife and I saw a red orange ball moving horizontally across the sky. It was a little smaller than the moon and my original thought was it was like a flickering candle flame shaped like a ball. I was driving so I kept my eyes on the road while glancing at the thing in the sky. When we reached our driveway we got out and watch it recede -- still in a straight line -- while another plane taking off from Stewart Airport (in nearby Newburgh) was flying the opposite direction at a slight angle. When the thing became small in the distance (still bigger than a point-like star) it just turned off. We waited a bit to see if it would come on again but it didn't.

Yellow, white and gray object seen over long island Farmingdale western skys seen from Whyndanch area. At around 3:15 am 7-26-2014, I came outside to put some bags in my car and looked up at the sky, I notice a round object at stand still for 2 seconds then moved fron southwest to northwest at lighting speed. This object I believed was a flying saucer, It moved so fast with a tail and just disappeared. A low object emitting white light was spotted flying over my house last night in Staten Island NY at extremely high speed. It occurred after I heard a strange noise coming from my driveway. As soon as i was done investigating the sound i turned around and that is when I saw the white light. It had to be under 1500 feet because the clouds were low last night and it was visibly flying below the clouds.
