Saw seven objects that appeared as fireballs traveling at a slower velocity than a meteor. Two of the objects witnessed appeared to have mass and could see the red-orange glow reflecting off the rest of it. Seven of them appeared over the span of about twenty minutes, coming in from the east south east and heading west north west at about a 30 degree angle. At one point in their travel they seemed to veer towards the north and blink out either due to cloud cover or some other reason.

Looking up through trees of campsite, (Tuscarora Village N. side) Watkins Glen State Park, husband and wife observed orange red circle moving silently slowly in west direction up Glen Creek (East to West). The object was orange in center and had a red fire like ring on the peripheral circle, which had fire like licks or prongs emanating into the center orange portion, similar to looking straight up into the base of a rocket outlet, but flame going inwards to center and flames were slowly intermittent like a dying ember not a fast burn. The object moved slowly west (visible intermittently through the tree canopy) and did not appear to be relatively high, I.E. lower than commercial jet aircraft and about as high as local prop aircraft). The shape was definite perfect circle not rough like mold burn. Lost track through tree canopy. (No intoxicants involved with reporters and they are objectively trained and not subject to emotional speculation).

Two orange/red circular shaped crafts in view over heavily cloud covered sky, flying slowly from east to west. First craft drifts southward and disappears. Second craft continue to fly westward and magnifies in brightness. Third craft appears from east (same location as the previous two) and flew westward towards second craft. Second craft then elevates while turning southward and slowly blinks out and disappears. Third craft illuminates brightly then dims then repeats this while flying westward, turns southward and elevates above clouds and disappears. Normal aircraft also seen flying in routine flight direction of south to north with visible blinking red and white lights on their sides.

Looking due north at 4am, I saw what appeared to be the flame from a rocket launch from very far away. It was orange and brighter than Venus. The approximate direction of travel was west. It was difficult to tell if its movement was NW, due W, or SW. I noticed it when it was ~30 degrees above the horizon. At about 40 degrees, it was blocked by clouds. The reason I say it appeared to be a rocket flame is because it looked very similar to a Space Shuttle launch into polar orbit that I watched from New Jersey many years ago.

I was looking in the sky to check the weather & spotted an object in the SW sky very high over the tree lines. It was very bright & was shaped like a bird cage/dome. It had what appeared to be possible windows with white lights coming out of them. I jumped from one spot then as the light went out it seemed to jump up then down and left and right. I grabbed the binoculars and watched it for about 45 seconds. I ran and woke my husband up from a dead sleep but by the time he got up it was gone. I do live in a path of some airports but, after 28 years I know a plane in the sky and their flight patterns. There was no sound either. Very strange.

My wife had stepped out for a smoke. She started yelling for me to come quick. So naturally I responded promptly. Coming from the east and heading in a north/northwest direction was a single fireball object. It was round in shape and orange/red in color. It appeared to be actively burning. Almost like plasma or liquid fire. It was lower in the sky than airliners cruise and moving slower than a meteor. Then it stopped for a few seconds and disappeared. It appeared larger than planes do even when they are landing at near by Saratoga airport. It really freaked my wife out. Being a skeptic, she could not explain what she saw. I on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed the sighting. I believe I have seen other unidentified objects in the past. Neither of us are a trained or active observer. That will change, I'm sure.

Distinctly orange object or ball of light moving slowly from North to South at what appeared to be high altitude. It then became stationary for about 15 seconds before disappearing. It looked like a star or planet, except about three times as large. The orange glow grew repeatedly brighter and dimmer for as long as it was visible. A bit after 9:00 p.m., I went outside. It was dark out, the sun had set, and the only light came from the houses of neighbors. I sat out there for a while and noticed an orange light in the sky. After a few seconds, I immediately knew this wasn't any normal craft, as it moved around in a way that would be impossible for an airplane or a helicopter. I watched it as it moved through the sky, relative to me, it moved two or three inches. Soon enough it began to blink, and then disappeared in the sky. I came back outside about half an hour later, and after watching the same spot in the sky, saw it again. It followed a course very similar to the one before, moving in all the same directions, and then disappearing again.

I was on the phone with a friend of mine at 11:53 pm and saw a bright orange light in the sky. Initially I ignored it since I'm used to helicopters in the area all of the time. But after awhile, the bright light became more pronounced the closer it got. I got curious and then went out on my balcony to get a better look. When I finally got a good look at it as it flew to the left of my building, I realized it was something I have never seen before. It looked like two orange fiery globes that had been fused in the middle and occasionally sparks of orange light would drop from the bottom of it. I would estimate that it was approximately twice the size of a helicopter but perhaps larger. It made absolutely no sound. This is the first time I have ever seen something that I couldn't explain. Not sure if i'll ever see it again but I have my camera ready this time in case it does.

Three of us all witnessed what appeared to be a meteor "distress Flare" at first however it did not rise or fall but remained at the same approximate altitude of 500ft. above the deck. It was bright red, noiseless, and moved over our heads and across the night sky. It very much resembled a flare except the center seemed to emit a yellowish glow like a flashlight would. One of the observers said he thought it was a small UAV and had seen one at an event the weekend before where they hover around shooting video. It is possible this was one and the lights were LED, however this was very bright, made no noise, did not flash, change altitude or course. We live and I work on a nearby Military Air Field and am very used to seeing/hearing aircraft flying VFR and IRF over our house to it and this certainly was not one.

2 orange dots moving at incredible high speed south to north toward lake ontario. NO sound whatsoever, absolutely quiet. first sighting the right dot was moving in a straight line, the left dot was moving somewhat slightly curved but still in a fairly straight line parallel to the right dot. Approximately 10 minutes later, 2nd sighting. moving in same direction south to north. this time both dots were much closer together, but again moving at incredible speed and again NO sound at all. with less than 5 seconds they went from north Greece, NY, over lake ontario. Shooting stars appear, get brighter and disappear. those dots stayed same brightness, same size. It's been quite amazing to see this since i have absolutely no explanation and always have been extremely skeptical toward any sightings i heard of or seen on shows on TV. This tonight, though, really made me wonder what it could have been! hopefully other will report it, too. My wife also saw ! both sightings together with me.

At 10:50 pm, I stepped out side my house to throw garbage out in trash can, and decided to pick grapes on my fence in front of my house. I turned around and looked up to the sky towards my neighbor's home looking for the big moon that was present this past week. It was somewhat cloudy, but I noticed between my home and my neighbor's house 4 disc-shape objects hovering fairly low, as they appeared large, unlike stars. All were whitish/very pale tinted bluish in color and the 4 disc were traveling in a circular motion and all the disc were evenly spaced. They were not who is very much into UFO sightings and emailed him and them called channel 12 news to see the same. The man at the station took my information and number and said someone will call me. I asked traveling any way and just circulate. I walked to the middle of our homes to view it better and I was trying to figure out if it were spot lights of some sort from a local park or something else but after approx 3-4 minutes the whole formation began to move slowly towards the back of mine and my neighbor's home between our houses, at which time I ran into my home to get my camera and iphone and ran back out to the front of my home and it was gone. I proceeded to run toward the back of my house in the back yard to see if I could see anything but nothing was noted. I then checked a bit on line to see if any sightings were reported on long island but found someone him did anyone else call he said no. I then wanted to check the internet for the same reason and came across your website and called you where you directed me to write what I saw and send it to you.

I was traveling south on I-87 with my wife. Time was approx. 22:45. Something caught my eye and moving above us were these 2 round shaped glowing light. I could not believe what I was seeing. My wife also looked on and was able to get some photos. The photos were not very clear as we were traveling and taking pictures thru the windshield. The 2 objects appeared to be playing dancing back and forth above and in front of our vehicle. I started to pull over, and by the time I stopped, they were gone. Best description is someone playing with bright lights. The objects were moving very fast and at times seem to touch. This area is very wooded and remote. They went behind a large cloud and I was waiting for them to reappear on the other side as they were fly in a direct set path at same speed. I never saw them again. I wonder if the shot straight up? I can't explain it. The two black triangles were flying at a low altitude and were silent. I live next to the 87 Northway. I know it sounds weird. I don't tell anyone about this as it doesn't make sense. I am a nurse manager, paramedic and have 28 years in the Allied Heath Care Field. I don't care if you believe me or not. It was a clear day with intermittent large puffy clouds. I will remember my sighting forever. Now for the first time I share it with you. Myself and 2 strangers noticed 5-6 very bright orange dots flying across the night sky in formation. It seemed that the objects had the orange light on the front of the crafts. When they turned the light faded away. There was no sound at all. They were flying much lower than most airplanes fly here and about the same distance away from the ground as helicopters fly. Saw 2 bright lights going from north to south. They were very bright yellowish orange color. They were below the height of a normal airplane and some what near to what a helicopter would fly. They went out of sight after about 10 mins. They did not make any sound.

Sitting on a rooftop in Williamsburg with a friend we noticed a light leave the "ground" like area in what looked like New Jersey and fly over Midtown Manhattan and over Brooklyn. The light was like 10x brighter than a plane light, if a plane light looks 1cm this looked like an inch. As the first one "took off" from Jersey another one was about 2 seconds behind it, and so on, until 12 lights were flying through the air. That night the moon was directly over Williamsburg and the lights were heading directly towards it, as they got there they disappeared. I was trying to figure out if it was a bunch of planes but they seemed to fly way too close together and they were disappearing - not exactly a plane behavior. I remember thinking I should record it on my phone, take a picture, do SOMETHING to record this, but I was memorized and worried if I looked away I would miss something. Not sure why I'm writing about this years later but it's stayed with me. I can still see it. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD
