On the morning of Oct 8, 2014, I was photographing the lunar eclipse from 0515 hours until 0620 hours. I took approximately 80 pictures. Upon inspection of my photos I noticed an object in just one photo. The object was two red lights with a very bright white light in the center. The three lights are connected by what appears to be a line of light roughly resembling a sign wave with brighter spots in the upper apexes of the wave. You can see no solid object connecting these lights. The rest of the picture is well focused with no motion blur or lens blur. This object is in one picture only of the 80 I took so it is not a piece of hair on the lens or light leaks in the camera. I would like to submit this picture just to have it analyzed and get a possible answer! It’s very strange. The object in the picture was not seen outside of the picture by naked eyes

Took a series of pictures of the blood moon on Oct 8th 2014 in just one picture there is a very clear object with a weird series of lights that appeared to be connected by a sine wave of white light. I didnt see the object when i was taking the pictures and didnt see it til I looked at the pictures. it is only in one of the shots and is very clear in the shot. I am a retired Navy/NYANG vet and took the photo over to Stewart ANG base and was told there were no aircraft in the area at the time of the metadata on the photo. The photo has bothered me for years. Im still fascinated by it. Especially being a retired jet engine mechanic. Its crazy that the object only shows up in one of the series of pictures . I have never seen anything in the sky that I could not find some explanation for. I was outside on the front porch with my mother for a cigarette. She pointed toward the sky behind me, suddenly very animated. I turned around, still sitting, and saw what looked like huge glowing orange lights in a perfect V formation moving in sync over the trees across the street. It was silently heading our way in a cluster. We hurried to get a closer look and stood watching from the highway. About three more appeared as if out of nowhere; if anything they were already up and lowered to meet the rest as opposed to floating up or rising. They were moving together, the first three more in sync though the spaces between them were not perfectly in unison as we continued to watch them head our way. My mom was panicked and thought they were actually coming to us, since we were the only people out watching (it was a little before 11pm and we are mostly surrounded by shopping cente! rs that were closed.) They had to be either very big or not that high, though higher than the trees. The first three then began to curve around and turn away, going over the lake and disappearing. The rest followed suit one by one, becoming more of a line and getting smaller as they travelled away from us. They all vanished into the sky except for one, which slowly glided away before it was blocked by the top of some buildings or condos over on the further side of the lake. I have heard of orange lights before but until you see it, you don't understand how far out and perplexing it can be. My mother kept saying how she felt like it was aware of us and though I do not like to make such quick assumptions, it felt a bit eerie. I had tried taking a picture but they didn't show on the camera preview on my phone, possibly because of street light glare. I did a search online and am going to keep checking to see if anyone else saw this but so far (its been 30 mins since it happened! ) nothing else has come up for tonight though I'm reading acco! unts fro m five days ago around NY and before that the same description was in Britain. I read "explanations" blaming Chinese Lanterns. These were not Lanterns. I've seen Lanterns set off in the sky at night, I've seen balloons with flames set off at festivals, air balloons, sky divers, flares, this was nothing like that. They moved with precision. My stomach is still fluttering. It was like a one time event sighting. In my mother's 56 years she has never seen anything like it. My window faces the sky where she first spotted them. I think I'll be on watch all night...

3 circular looking craft over the long island expressway near exit 59. The objects were arranged in a triangular formation, with 2 in perfect alignment and one slightly out of alignment, to form a sort of lopsided triangle. After seeing the objects, my view was blocked by a row of trees. When I circled back around to the same spot (approx. 2 minutes later), the objects were gone. Immediately following this event helicopters could be seen and heard circling the area.

For the past 3 nights i've noticed a red and green flickering object over what appears to be the town of Colonie. Im on the west end of the town and the object is to the northeast of me. Standing on my deck I see a bright green and red light that moves around but remains in the same spot. With binoculars it's clearly red and green and sometimes shaped like a cone, usually like a jumble of lights. We suspect a "twinkling" star. PD

I was in the hottub on a night in fall of 2014, I think it was early October because it was shortly before I got the idea for my prototype electromagnetic propulsion idea in the third week of October that year while playing with permanent magnets in my hands, lounging in bed brainstorming. Anyway, I was staring north northeast at those stars over there while in the hottub, and al lthe sudden a gleaming sparkling jet yellow orange light "curved". When I say curved, it seemed to do a 170 ° turn in this u, , but there was also a curve in the u, where it curved down, then again, and shot off at the speed of light, and all the while leaving behind a momentary (half second duration) trail of gleaming fire, orange yellow in color. It zoomed off northward but seemed to be aimed slightlybto leave earth and off into the cosmos on an intelligently programmed trip.

Was walking south down Clinton street between Atlantic and state streets. My girlfriend pointed at the sky and we both saw an object moving left to right with a long bright green tail. The object was intermittently switching between a fireball and not. It was definitely lower than the moon in the sky. If I was to reach out and point at it I would guess the tip of my finger to have been 6' off the ground or slightly less.

it took me some time of thinking about reporting this. i have no doubt that there is life from other words who have been and are still visiting earth. i am from a native American tribe which has lived in NY for 7000 years and have listen to stories from many tribes in our state about visits from other beings. However I have never til last night seen a craft or anything that I would call a UFO til last night. it started about 11 pm when the Apt I live in shook and rumbled. when i walked out my back door there was a very low flying military black hawk chasing three low flying objects that had no sound coming from them. The black hawk had no other reason to be in area and was not searching or looking for any thing or anyone, It was chasing the objects. it is however possible that it was just one object with lights. I am shocked how low it was but it was very dark and only saw the lights. Three. I even thought it may have been three black hawks but it was not. they the lights in front made no sound and the black hawk had a hard time keeping up with it as they banked from NNE to SSE in a manner that made no since to me . the objects were maybe 600 ft to 800 ft high at the highest till the object or objects in front just were gone. It cause me to lose sleep and my wife did see it for a short time because I woke her. I did tell our Adult daughter who then told me that her and her boyfriend had just seen something the night before which seem to land this happen about 5 miles from where i saw the objects being chased. when they banked it was towards where my daughter and her boyfriend saw something the night before. They were not going to tell anyone til I mentioned what i saw to her , it left them very afraid. i watched News and searched net to see if anyone else reported it, i lost sleep over this. It was so low yet i could not even grab my phone however the black hawk chasing it means someone knows about it . Also 20 mins later i h! eard what may have been a Drone searching same area. That is about it Oh I almost forgot both my dog and birds in my house reacted to it and would not sleep afterwards.

I was walking to my car at about 8 PM on October 1 2014. I am located in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn. The sky was overcast. I looked over the my left and saw an orange light undulating from North or Northwest to South or South East. It wasn't going very fast, but I only caught it from the time it took to travel in between two buildings in my field of vision. The best way I can describe the light is that it looked like an orange flare. It would dim from time to time and then flare up again. I thought it might be a helicopter, but I've never seen a helicopter undulate like that (and they generally have running lights, etc, instead of a single orange light). I am not sure at what altitude the clouds were, I don’t think they were particularly high, but this object seemed to be just underneath them. I viewed the object for 30 seconds or less. I'd be interested to know if anybody else witnessed this. Thanks!

I saw a circle object hovering moving very slowly, which seemed odd too slow to be an airplane or too high To be a helicopter or bird it looked like it stopped Every couple minutes then it would move again ( heading from Northwest towards southeast)in the Same direction but after 20-25 min it stopped again But this time it actually changed direction and started going North for another couple of minutes around 3-4 min Then I saw another similar object moving a little faster moving from Southwest towards North watched it for 2 minutes looked back at the First one watched it for a minute and then it just vanished( disappeared) Looked back to see if the second object was still there and it also disappeared Everything happened around that weird cloud formation that looked Like a thick white smoke from 8:15am to 8:45am. Was waiting to move my car For street cleaning and was sitting in front of my apartment building. Around 8:40am I thought it had to be balloons but after it changed directions I really don't know what it was, and I really believe that I saw an Unidentified Flying Object. ((initials deleted))

Triangular shaped object flying north/northwest over orchard park between 10:15 and 10:30 pm in the night sky.. Typical airplane traffic to and from buffalo niagara international airport when out of the south to north was a triangular shaped object quite large no noise whatsoever. Flying noticeably faster than and airplane and much larger ..5 times wider than a full moon and lower flying than an airplane as well . 5 lights on either sider in front forming a large v pattern up front.. Decent view but too fast to grab my camera/ recorder.. 10-15 seconds and out of my view heading north/ northwest.. Soft white lights no strobe no noise just all softer/ dimmer lights in a v - formation.. Specifics are 338 degrees north bound half the height that a typical commercial airliner flies at

Traveling 190N bound entering the whitehaven on ramp. I noticed what at first I thought were possibly stars, until I noticed the subtle drifting movements and glowing from bright to dim, and then also the formation that was V in shape with 2 objects vertical and 1 object at a point creating the formation that held and as it was slowling drifting until the light faded to black. I did take the time to assure that these were not stars and were of another nature. On a seperate night (1-2 nights) previous in the same location, I observed 1 object that was a cluster of colored lights, and unable to make out shape. It caught my attention enough to pull over on the entrance ramp and observe that it was not a plane or helicopter. And was stationary in 1 spot. I attempted to record video which have saved but did not come out well with out professional enhancement. I'm decided to report what I saw after hearing from friends and word of mouth of mulitble accounts of unexplained sightings the same evening or time frame. And feel what I saw is absolutely relevent. I saw it on my way home from ossining, I was driving on the taconic parkway from Ossining to white. What I saw had a rectangular shape no wings and it was turning around going in an opposite direction than mine. Live North of Buffalo, went outside for a cigarette, looking South. Saw object moving slowly East to West. Lost it in the trees and it did not reappear in the proper amount of time had its speed been steady. Continued at slower rate of speed once it reappeared and then stopped (hovering?) for 2+ minutes. Lights dimmed and winked out in roughly 2-3 seconds. Object appeared as 5 lights; in orientation to me they were top/bottom/left/right/center making a diamond shape. Lights were white with an orange-ish tint. Orientation did not change as it moved. No aura, no trail, no haze. Sky was completely clear, light pollution was typical but negligible. Took a picture with cellphone camera but it's garbage.

We saw a line of orange red fireball shaped objects over the harbor in port Jefferson. Then the objects huddled together and hovered. There was no aircraft sounds. Then the crafts or bright lights as they appeared went into a V shaped formation and all of a sudden they disapated and went straight up so quickly that they became tiny red dots and disappeared. The whole incident lasted about 15 minutes.

I just returned home from working the 3-11 shift. Looked up on this clear, star-filled night to notice what I first thought was a star or a plane in the north sky, but it was a "cluster" of multi-colored flashing lights; not moving. When looking around the sky, I noticed 5 more of these identical flashing clusters, not moving. They are at about the same height in the sky, and form a very large circle across the sky. Two more such objects are flying quickly across the sky. I got my camera with a 500mm lens, and captured the 6 lights, kind of in the shape of a stealth fighter. I called my friend, who lives a few miles away, and asked him to go outside and look at the sky, and he readily spotted both the still objects, as well as the rapid-flying ones. I love sky watching, and have NEVER seen anything like this. Do you have any idea? Will send photo later.

Driving up west sand lake road in north greenbush NY at 12:17 am with another witness Saw a green light in the sky low in altitude change colors to blue then yellow and white. Object appeared to move fast but linear and changed direction in flight unlike a meteor.

I got the camera and went outside with my oldest child. Everyone else stayed in the house looking out the open window. By the time we got outside there were only four left in the sky that we could see. The three lighter ones formed a large triangle. They looked like they were moving but remained in the same place in the sky the entire time. The largest one was very bright and appeared to be moving fast, toward the triangle of lighter ones. It continued like this for approximately 20 minutes, until the lighter ones just disappeared and the brighter one went behind the tree line and we could no longer see it. We took several pictures and a video of the object's. On one of the pictures of the larger one we were able to zoom in on the computer. What we saw was very strange. The large one was very angular with sharp edges. We are very curious to know what these were. I am emailing some of the pictures that we took.

My wife and I were just next door at my mother in laws house. I came home first, when my wife frantically called for me to come outside. I believe there were 6 orange glowing lights in all. We observed them looking south, and they were traveling towards the east. They seemed to be following each other. The first light suddenly stopped, and dropped straight down out of sight. The remainder of the lights headed in the same direction as the first one, but then headed up and out of sight. The entire episode lasted between 5 to seven minutes.

Prior serviceman US Army, I saw three black as night triangular shaped UFO's gliding silently in a straight line formation from south to north parallel with lake Avenue by Charlotte Beach. Followed by what seemed to be multiple aircraft in the area the minutes after sighting. When all was calm, I seen the three silent black triangles do another pass following almost the exact flight path.
