While eating a snack outside the Safeway store in the University District of Seattle, I saw two objects in the morning sky. They both had three white lights mounted to them at what would have been the rear of them, given the direction they were moving. They were headed from NE to SW silently. I pointed them out to someone in the parking lot and he didn't know what they were, either. It's difficult to judge the altitude of the crafts; they weren't flying particularly low but they also weren't way up in the sky either. I would guess 2,000-3,000 ft up. I watched them until one of them disappeared.

At 23:00 hours I took my dog outside for her nightly duty. When I opened my basement door to let her out I noticed unusual lights coming from down the hill, over the Wishkah River, about half a mile away from the house. I paused to try to figure out what they were coming from. The thing was not moving or was moving very slowly, which got my attention rather quickly. I thought to myself, “This can't be what I think it is, can it?” I immediately ran back into the basement to grab my phone/camera to try to grab a picture. By the time I got back out with the phone, it was floating up the hill, next to my house. By the time I did all the necessary touching to get the camera working, I missed the best angle and could only get the tail end as it was heading farther up the hill. There were no wings, no signs of it being a balloon shape, as in a blimp and it made no sound until it was heading up the hill, when I heard a strange noise like a small generator motor going. Not nearly enough to power an engine, transmission, or rotor, etc. It actually reminded me of an old movie, the Absent Minded Professor, who drove around in a car powered by Flubber (no joke). I had a close look at the side and partial front end, through the trees that next to my house—tall Hemlocks. It was only about 150 feet or less from where I was standing. It was shaped like a modern flat bottomed yacht or large party boat. It was approximately the size of 4 to 6 transit buses bunched together. About 30 to 40 feet long. The front had huge window that sloped downward and had dividers between the window panels. The front end was rounded 180 degrees and the panels were emitting red and orange light. The windows looked like they were about 6' long, from top to bottom and maybe 3' wide. The slope appeared to be about 20' inward on the bottom. The top of the craft, above the windows had a structure but I was not able to get a clear enough view to see how tall it was. The bottom also had a structure to it that ! appeared to be flat and went down about 6'. As it went up the hill, I could see the back end, which was emitting bright white lights on either side, that appeared to be outlining the shape of the rear quarter panels. Needless to say, I had trouble calming down that night. I came up with a possible connection to the area and the craft as I was trying to sleep. The old naval base, at Pacific Beach, had recently been designated the center for Electronic Warfare Games. The kicker to the story is that I had just finished my MUFON Investigator Test that afternoon. I thought, what are the odds? Also, I did get a picture of the rear of the craft as it floated up the hill.

2. Event Time: 10:15 PM- 10:20 PM (Approx.) Latitude: 47.6855 Longitude: -122.1801 (As per Sky Map App) I had just walked few steps from my garage door towards our community entrance with my pet, when I noticed a colorful object flying in the sky. It was a clear sky, as I saw the stars & constellations were clearly visible. I stopped to check if that was a plane (aircraft), but no, that wasn’t the case, as I didn't hear any sound & observed that the light pattern was somewhat unusual. It was blinking within fractions of seconds & with the blinks the colors were changing quickly, or rather I should say switching colors: blue, green, red & white. It was moving from South-East to West. I could only see the light flashing in on & off mode every second & there was fast switching of all the colors (blue, green, red & white) with every on I saw. I could observe it for about a minute, as my pet started pulling me after that & I walked away.

Telephoned Report: An adult male contacted the UFO Hotline, and reported that he and his adult son had witnessed two highly-reflective, perhaps disk-shaped, objects in the southeastern sky, as viewed from the City of Spokane. The caller described himself as a serious amateur astronomer, having once used a hard-mounted 10-inch reflector telescope. He stated that he had never witnessed such a phenomenon. Neither witness has submitted a written, detailed, report, and the caller has not responded to multiple calls to his telephone number. PD

I would say it was cigar shaped but they are two white lights which seem to move on a pole but I couldn't see anything there. The two lights will dim and brighten sometimes one goes out. I saw what seemed to be a star and then it started moving. What seemed to drop behind the Horizon. I saw this for the first time around 2001 but they were red. People were stopping and yelling at random people saying, "Are you seeing this!" The next day Nasa said it was a space station and we all know that a space station that can go from one side of the horizon to the other in one second is much faster then sound. I never saw the one that follows. The star I SAW IN OLYMPIA seemed like the red light I saw Years ago in Cleveland. I think it is some kind of depth perception tech. If these are really in space then what we are seeing is at light speed. I don't mean to come off as if I am self centered but this wouldn't have anything to do with me finding the ancient Holy Books would it. In 2012 I saw the Mayan prophecy come true. Kukulcan is real or those lights are some kind of technology.

My son and I were on a walk and paused on a walking overpass on Alabama Hill. While we paused to enjoy the view, a black helicopter appeared and we took photos of it. When we got home and looked at my sons photos, we noticed a bright round dot in the sky above and to the left of the helicopter. Upon closer inspection, the bright round object has five, maybe six dots on it. Maybe it’s nothing, but just in case it is an actual ufo, I wanted to submit it. Lens flare. PD

Am nannying overnight again in Tumwater, trying to sleep and one of the two dogs seemed to need out. After the other night I've kept an extra eye out on the sky, right away I noticed two bright orange lights through the trees. Not in the same direction as before. Didn't go outside to try to really see with it being late and alone... It reminded me of the red lights you see on towers... So that's what it could be but they seem very bright and orange, and not blinking. Through tree branches, so had to move back and forth to really see them. I took some pictures this time, although not very great and taken through the window. These ones aren't moving this time. Were still there when I went back inside.

Diablo Lake (near Ross Lake), WA
It's the summer of 2015 in Northern Washington state. Myself and four other friends are camping at Diablo Lake near Ross Lake Dam. We camped at the Diablo Lake Camp ground which is located right off of highway 20. This camp spot sits at the bottom of two big mountains on either side. The lake sits in the valley and the camp is on its shore. When you're on the beach looking up there is a large mountain in front of you. Our intention of the trip is to get away from the city by going into the mountains to avoid light pollution so we can stargaze. We spent the whole day exploring the area and playing in the water. By dusk we had settle down around a fire we built on the beach. The beach came to a point and made a small peninsula out into the lake. We gathered at the end of the beach and started to look upwards. This was probably around 1030 or 11, as it was mid summer around July and it doesn’t get dark till late in Washington. By around 230, we had been getting familiar with all the stars and planets, satellite’s in the sky. It was a beautiful night very clear until the early morning. Someone spotted an object flying over head and pointed to it. We all turned and looked identifying the object. At first glance it resembled what a satellite would look like. However, we had seen many satellites already and this object seemed larger and brighter. So to compare lets say a satellites brightness is on average that of a small stars brightness. Then this object was about twice as bright closer to one of our brighter stars. It seemed to be either traveling very fast or was very far above the earth (like a satellite) this can make it hard to judge distance with all the stars in the background. It was completely silent as it flew over us. We noticed it and tracked it over head as it started to pass beyond us. This was around 6-10 seconds; as it moved south from us it instantly disappeared. Impressed we all looked around at each other slightly shocked. Instantly we began to try and debunk what we had seen was it a satellite or maybe the space station! (Once when i was growing up my family and i watch a space shuttle dock with the international space station.) We all puzzled over how fast it was moving and how it might have disappeared. This is when things get a little weirder. We continue looking up and chatting about what we had just seen. Soon after this someone spots something in the distance. Its two lights at the end of the lake south from where we were and in the direction in which the the object had been traveling. They are on the other side of the highway near the bridge at bottom of the valley. These lights are strange one is white and the other is red and they appear to be dancing or bouncing around. They are about 1/4 mile away and at first it was hard to tell how big these lights were. They moved through the trees up the hillside and back down around and on top of the water. All of us watched this in aw. Amazed and confused we tried to speculate what we were seeing. Soon a car drives by. The highway comes down one mountain crosses the bridge and and goes up the other side. As the car passes the bridge we realize how big these lights actually are. To compare these lights were about 4 times bigger than the amount of light made by the headlights of the car. To be clear they were not 4 times as bright. They just filled a lot of space with a medium brightness of light. Its hard to explain. They also seemed somewhat sphere shaped or had a sphere shaped core which imitated light in all directions. Like i said it was to faraway and to obscure to make out any details. This continued for a couple minutes at which time we began to be slightly concerned about what we were seeming. The relationship to the car really put into prospective that something strange was going on. After a couple minutes the lights went away back into the trees out of sight. We all went back to looking upwards now our curiosity peaked by what we had just seem. From the same direction the lights were coming from an object appears in the sky. It's low maybe 1000ft above the ground traveling north parallel to our orientation. It is below and in front of the mountain before us. It was hard to tell if it had a shape, all i could make out was a bright white light that enveloped the whole craft. Brighter than any star and comparable to the brightness of the full moon. It was moving slow and consistently across the sky. As it go closer to us i stepped towards it with my friends behind me. I asked it a question like do you come in peace or something silly like that. The object instantly became twice as bright, like a big flash. Shock i turned around to my friends saying can you believe this $h&! . I turned back to the craft and asked it something like are you hear to meet us. And craft flashed again just like before. We all watched in utter amazement giggling in disbelief. The craft passed the mountain and vanished. This is where this story gets more personal. The rest of this can be verified with the other people i was with however what happens next only happened to me. As we turn to talk about what ever it was we just say i begin to have a very strange sensation. While the rest of people are talking i wonder off and voices start talking to me in my head. However it's not someone else’s voice, it's my own. It's like i was talking to myself in my head but there was another me talking too. This voice keep asking if i would like to be contacted. (this next part is hard to for me to explain) The hair on the back of my neck stood up and then i began to have essentially flash backs but not into the past, into the future. I got the sense that i was being shown all the possibilities that were available to me. In seconds i saw hundreds of different ways this could happen or not happen. This was quite the experience already and i quickly realized that my friends and i were mentally not prepared to handle something like that. I adamantly said no to direct contact out of fear of the unknown. (Slightly bummed about this in retrospective) This all happened in a number of seconds. As soon as it was over I immediately told all my friends. As im describing all this one of my friends gets a similar sensation telling him to lay down and look up. While the rest of are talking, he say that sky opened up with blue light as an object accelerated at extreme speeds out of sight. He gets up and exclaims did you see that! We all sit by the fire amazed and confused. We talk for another couple hours. Hashing out all the details. We left the next morning.

Early on the morning of Thursday, July 23rd, 2015, I was house sitting in a rural area of Pacific County, WA, and had gone to bed. Lying facing the window with my eyes closed, I could see light coming in the window. Figured it was a car coming up the road, not totally unheard of, even out there. I realized I did not hear an engine, though, and the light barely fluctuated, so I got up to look. What I saw made me grab my glasses so I could see clearly. Returning to the window, I saw two large white lights, about the size of the full moon, perhaps a bit smaller, quite a ways apart (perhaps 100 feet or so), traveling very slowly from W/NW to E/SE, in a descending manner, behind a stand of trees. When the white lights were behind trees, I could see red lights (much smaller than the white ones, maybe double the size of Venus), none of them flashing. The only sound I heard was similar to a lone passenger car out on the highway, about half a mile away. It was very quiet, and descending into an area that is nothing but marshland. After I could no longer see it, I just sat staring at the window. I saw no further activity, no other occurrences. I have seen things before, but never this big, or this close. I remained awake, unable to sleep, for at least another 3 hours. It was very dark out there, being rural, without exterior lights, and cloudy that night, so I could not see anything but the lights themselves. The following day, I let the dogs out, and they went into the gully that leads to the marsh. When they returned, the black lab suddenly stuck by my side and would not leave me, she HAD to be touching me, though this only lasted about an hour. I did not report it elsewhere, to police or media. I did not go into the marsh myself. I did not get photos or videos of the object, but I did take pics of the area, and via Google Earth, to give you an idea of the area. The case has been shared with Mr. James E. Clarkson, MUFON State Director for Washington State, who has offered to follow up on it, and perhaps perform an investigation. PD

I'm a nanny in Tumwater and was working until midnight. I had just got both kids to sleep around 9:30 pm and one of the two dogs acted like he needed out. I took him out and he just looked around and growled and didn't seem to need to go potty. I sent him back in because I didn't want him running after anyone. As I went to go inside myself, I noticed two bright orange lights in the sky. It looked similar to how Venus and Jupiter have appeared recently but a lot brighter, or closer. I stopped to look, my view was through some trees, and they were moving. Way slower than an airplane. They moved at the same pace. I watched until the first disappeared past my view behind tree branches. Then a third appeared following the second. Same speed… And about same distance apart. After the second disappeared, it reappeared, coming back the way it came. Then as it got closer to the third light they both continued that direction (right to left from my view). Two to three more followed, same speed, same direction. I watched until I couldn't see anymore. Didn't bother to go get my phone and try to video. I guess I didn't want to miss what I was seeing, and didn't think it would show up anyway... Wish I would've tried. They all looked the same. I kept thinking there's no way that's airplanes. Then an airplane did fly overhead, and like i thought, it was traveling way faster and not as bright, with a blue and white, and maybe small red, flashing lights, and I heard it. I couldn't hear the "craft." But they weren't directly overhead either. They were bright orange, seemed to sparkle or flash various colors maybe, similar to how the planet's look in the sky far away... First time I've ever seen it. I saw a huge green meteorite one time on an early trip to the airport, but that was definitely a meteor after searching info :) Thanks for this page to document sightings!

This went on for about 1 minute and I ran into my bedroom to get my camera, When I came back and started filming they were gone. I waited for about 5 min and even went outside to get a better vantage point but they never returned. The initial sighting was from a window about 30ft from street level, facing east, the window was open/no screen. objects were in the sky at about 45° from me and could not have been less then maybe 1000ft I believe we are not alone in this universe but I am a realistic person, I have no clue what I seen.

I was sitting on the steps of my apartment in Olympia, WA smoking a cigarette while facing the western sky at approx. 11:30 PM PST when I observed a long cigar shaped object that was blacker than the night sky moving from the south to the north. I couldn't make out any features of the craft but it was completely noiseless and had one small steady white light at the rear of the object while the front had a small blinking red light. Whatever it was, it seemed pretty large. I'd guess that it was about a mile away but if it was further away then it must have been even larger. It was moving fairly slowly at first, almost hovering when I first saw it, but then it picked up speed and disappeared behind a very large stand of trees on the adjoining property. At first, I thought it might be a blimp for a second but when it speeded up, it moved faster than a blimp is capable of; I've seen a few of them over the years and this object speeded up more rapidly than a blimp can. We are pretty close to Joint Base Lewis McChord here, so I suppose it could have been military but it met the definition of a UFO, that much is certain. I've never seen anything like this in the night sky before.

I looked into the sky, and immediately I noticed blinking lights. There is a direct flight path for commercial jets and for military aircraft over my house, so I am always careful to be sure of what I am seeing. Tonight I stared and rubbed my eyes, and I looked around, and I KNOW what I saw was not normal. I saw, at first, two. I looked around and saw another and one more! They were stationary and triangular shaped. The triangular form was highlighted by the lights that were all around it. To top it off, there seemed to be a brighter, straight line of lights going from the point of the triangle, down one side, and through the bottom straight edge of it. I stared for awhile, then went to Facebook to see if anyone else saw it. Most people were off FB for the night, but one coworker was still there, so she decided to look, too. She couldn't believe it. She saw what I saw and she saw just as many! We still do not know what they are, and they are still there as I! go to bed.

On 7-15-15 my girlfriend and I saw a triangular craft flying across the sky in Selah, WA. I noticed it but didn't think anything of it until I heard tonight's episode of Coast To Coast AM and one of the news guests in the first segment mentioned a strange craft was noticed over Yakima, Washington 2 days ago. I was a witness to that sighting.

12:30-1:30am, July 15th. Standing on the front porch looking towards the South I saw an orange ball a quarter the size of the moon coming towards me like a bomb, very orange like a fire ball with a tail. It was moving at an extremely fast speed, faster than a helicopter, I don’t know how much faster than that it was. It was very high up in the sky and hard to determine speed without anything near it to compare it to, because it was so high up. It did not look man made. It was coming towards me at a fast pace and then it did a very fast turned to the East. It faded in brightness and dimmed to invisibility. I watched it for about a minute.

for several nights in a row flashing lighted objects in the sky over Port Angeles. first two nights I observed two. tonight there are three, with one directly overhead. Muliticolored, sometimes mainly orange, sometimes a bluish white w orange rim. smaller orbs are bright red or blue. I am a photographer. I got several images at 250mm zoom using tripod and low light settings. remarkable images show a multi colored orb rabidly spinning and juking back and forth, splitting into two or three orbs and streaking leaving long multi-colored "tails". After all is said and done, they end up as one orb in the same spot. I am not a conspiracy buff. I do not believe in ghosts or alien or the bogie man. I am a geology researcher and photographer by profession. My girlfriend came out and watched for about an hour and also took pictures with a pretty good camera. if we are seeing it others must be too I would think. I don't like even reporting this, but I feel I have to because there is no information on what exactly they are even though around the world people are googling and photographing these orbs more and more. that worries me because they are definitely a part of our environment. I've even seen one during the day. I can't prove it, but I believe they spin the odd, stringy, geometric web-like clouds that are so unusual and "non-puffy". If anyone has any rock solid, scientific, information on what these phenomena are called or what causes them I would be interested. photos available on facebook at the light orb page. hope this helps.

On July 12th, at approximately 6:30p.m., I noticed an unrecognizable shape in the sky. I grabbed my camera called to my wife to come see and started shooting. I watched as this grouping of multicolored spheres started to change shape and seemingly get larger, then smaller. At times they would stretch out a little while changing to another configuration. Sometime the largest sphere would become detached. There was an almost rainbow shimmer effect on the surface. After just a couple minutes, it was gone as suddenly as it showed up. I reviewed the images right away and zoomed in for a better look. I still cannot identify them.

In was driving home from work heading through the Puyallup/Fife Washington area by Sterino farms. I was looking towards the North were I saw 6 Bright orange lights in the sky in an L shape about 3 miles away. I stopped on the road and tried to take a picture with my cell phone, but it didn't turn out well. I watched the lights as they moved up into the cloud cover (2800 FT) and disappeared. I started to drive east bound again and then turned North towards Fife, when I saw another orange light in the sky to the West of me. I went over the Puyallup River bridge onto Levee road and watch the single orange light circle around behind me before it moved up into the clouds and disappeared. With my windows down there was no audible sound. The way the objects moved they looked like drones flying around with a bright orange light on them. They weren't super fast, just kind of a slow steady movement. Maybe about 50 MPH.

We are located on NW Hartine Island (WA) and just saw a bright point that looked like a star but it didn't twinkle - it was a solid dot in the night sky, moving from north to south, then in a fast turn-around did a 65 degree turn and headed east. What was crazy was that it was so high and its speed rapidly increased but not as rapidly as any falling star; if anything, it was about 1/1000 of a falling star. I have never EVER EVER seen anything like this. We are searching to understand not just the size, rate, and extreme pivot of this object...nothing has shown up so far. Please post if you've seen something! We are listing the dates as 7/7 and 7/8 because this all happened so close to midnight 7/7. They were flying low and I am very familiar with the sounds of planes living near JBLM ((Joint Base Ft. Lewis/McChord AFB. PD)) (base), Seatac airport, and a private airstrip 10 miles away. There were also 2 big weird lights I could see through the tress in the county property behind my house which of course could have been someone that broke in back there, but that would be a first. One of the lights faded out then a new light appeared on the opposite side of the light that rem! ained lit. Then went out a few minutes later. I watched the remaining light for awhile to see if it was a lantern, but it didn't move, so I think it it a vehicle of some sort. We suspect a "twinkling" star, given the number of nights the witnesses have observed the object. PD

It was the 4th of July just bout to be the 5th. Me and my girlfriend was just watching the fireworks. Then this reddish-orange object appeared, moving at a steady speed, then it started blinking. The object moved in like a hook formation, then it just disappeared. The object was nothing like any plane that I've seen, and had no movement or actions of any aircrafts that I know. I hope someone else saw the same.

On the evening of July 4th at around 11:30 P.M. My wife and I were standing on our deck in our back yard watching the neighbors firework displays. I looked to the east, through the trees and saw what appeared to be a solid orange light moving in a south, southwest direction at a speed relatively close to an to a commercial jet. A couple of months ago I made a report to this site about a triangular object with an exceptionally bright solid white light. As that object moved to the south and disappeared, the light turned to an orange and the object disappeared. The orange light on this craft was exactly like the light of the triangular craft from my first report. I realized it was something different when I noticed that it had no blinking lights and was definitely not part of a fireworks display. I quickly pointed it out to my wife and she was somewhat baffled as to what it could be. She only caught a short view, maybe 5-10 seconds before it disappeared behind the trees. I ran into the house, grabbed the binoculars from the table and ran out the front door to pick up it's trajectory. Once outside, I immediately, picked up the object but just as I put the binoculars on it, it disappeared completely. I lowered the binoculars to see if I could see it with a wider field of view and I spotted a second light of the exact same type, coming out from behind the trees and following the same course as the original, but it appeared to be further in the distance as it looked somewhat smaller. I started to raise the binoculars again and this light also disappeared. I scanned the area just the same and one thing stood out, the sky was completely cl! ear where both objects disappeared and the stars in the background were completely visible, there was no obstruction to block my view of either object. The whole incident probably lasted right at or under one minute. These two objects were coming from the northeast and they disappeared very near to where I lost sight of the first object back in April. As with the first sighting, these objects made no sound. When I asked my wife what she thought, she said that they looked similar to lights on an airplane but she agreed that it was weird that they wouldn't have any blinking lights or that their lights would be orange. It's possible that rising smoke from all of the fireworks could have given them an orange hue but about ten minutes later a commercial jetliner crossed the path that they had taken and it looked white with two blinking lights. It was very clear that the lights that we saw were completely different. The lights, even in orange looked exceptionally bright. I stated in my first report that we live near joint base Lewis/McChord and we've seen plenty of military traffic go over our home. This was nothing like anything we've seen. I scanned some other reports from our general location and noticed that I'm not the only one who has described similar objects. Just wondering if they could be testing something at the base? This base isn't normally known for that I kind of activity but I have a limited knowledge of what they do there on the Air Force side. The sky was clear, no wind and just for the record, I don't drink, do drugs or take medication of any kind. I'm not saying that these things are extra terrestrial, most things have a logical explanation, but this one has me stumped. If you have any suggestions I would be open to hear them. Until then I guess I'll keep looking in that area to see if this happens regularly. One last question regarding the lights. If there was no obstruction in my view, which there was not, I have never heard of an aircraft, much less two, that suddenly turn off all of their exterior lights when flying at night. If it were a plane, why would they do that?

My friend came in house, said she saw a fireball appear and hover in sky. I went outside and observed glowing object hovering and then move away into distance for 5 min. Object then began to move towards us, it then changed shape and was twinkling brilliant orange, red, white and blue color's. It looked like a bright start, but appeared very close. I ran into house and grabbed camera, as I returned it was moving away, I was able to get some pictures of object. Then another object appeared, and hovered in distance. They then moved together and then hovered for a few minutes and then disappeared.

At 10:46 PM, my husband and I were driving home from watching fireworks. We live in a quiet area, fairly well wooded, in a suburban/rural setting, 15 miles east of Seattle. We live in an area called Union Hill which is 500 feet above sea level and is a hill top above the small city of Redmond, Washington. We were almost home, a neighborhood with most homes on one acre plots. I was watching out the passenger side window of the car when I saw a large firework explode. Beside it I saw an immensely, intense glowing orange light, spherical shape, almost like a fireball. I told my husband to immediately stop the car and back-up. He did and I jumped out of the car and clearly saw a bright, bright, bright orange ball. They were off toward the eastern sky, not too far off as they appeared in the same proximity of where I had just seen the firework explode. (They were not directly overhead.) Followed close behind was a second orange sphere, identical to the first, and! following the driving line of the first ball. Then, trailing just slightly further behind, was a third sphere. All identical in color. The most unbelievable, intense glowing orange I have ever seen. My husband was on the driver side and keep telling me to take picture. I wanted to but just felt that if I moved my eyes the objects would be gone before I could figure out how to get a photo. I watched for maybe 30 seconds. All three looked like they were glowing hot. Once they passed us I could still see them flying but they no longer glowed. I could see almost like an outline of the ball, faintly defined. It was as if the glowing part was in the front of the object but the backs were dark. And then they were gone. My husband says he never really saw them. But it was like nothing I have ever seen before. And clearly they were not fireworks. The witness corrected the date to July 4th. We have corrected it above, as of July 10th, 2015. PD
