Over a period of approximately 40 minutes, against the mountains immediately north of Tucson several episodes of flashing lights were seen. Most were blue white, some had red with them. Intermittently the lights flashed on and off. Some streaked across the mountains and disappeared. Some remained stationary and could be seen for several seconds. Often there was nothing and then a series of lights flashed on. Sometimes they were stationary but flashed on and off in the same position. Never have I seen anything like this. My wife has more acute vision than I and said she saw that some lights flashing were dome shaped. She also saw what she described as rays emanating from the red part of the light. The streaking lights moved very quickly across the mountains. The view I had covered several miles. When I called 911 to report this, I was told that earlier similar lights were seen on mountains slightly west of me called Putsch Ridge. That area is not visible from my balcony.

I was looking outside my balcony to the north foothills in Tucson, Az. A several mile length across the range of the mountains I saw at first soft focus white lights, almost like fireflies. About 10 of them, then perhaps 20-30 more flashing on and off intermittently. Then the white lights appeared to blink on and off in a kind of photon white blue, very bright. Back and forth randomly blinking on and off or just holding position these lights sprinkled on and off. Then some white lights appeared to streak across the air in front of the mountain range back and forth very fast. Some of the lights appeared to leave momentary trails of white behind as they zoomed across the sky. Then some of the blue lights, about 3 or 4 of them to the left blinked on a bright vibrant transparent light above them and looked like a dome shape. On and off very quickly ... then the blue lights appeared to have a brilliant red light right next to or within it. The lights danced across the foothills up down all around in various areas. Then some of the red lights had beams of red light flash on and off here and there. To my visible eye, these beams were only a couple of inches long beaming down, but could have been yards or more. I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime. The strangest thing is that to my eyes these flashes of light would have all appeared separate. But this morning I awoke and had the strongest impression and feeling that this was ONE invisible craft like a long almond shape, where all this was taking place. All these lights stayed within this one area, flashing on and off. If it was a craft it had to be miles long.

On July 4, 2014, at approximately 8:55 pm my husband, two friends and myself were waiting for the fireworks to begin. We were looking at the sky when we saw a solid blue light moving at a very high rate of speed and noticed another following very close directly behind it. There was no change in speed or trajectory. The craft had no navigation lights or anti-collision lights as required on commercial, private, or military aircraft. Altitude, shape and size were not able to be determined. They were moving from South to North, on the East side of Sombrero Peak. They flew directly over our house and made no sound what so ever. There were no other air craft in the area. We lost all internet WIFI connection for approximately an hour afterwards. My husband and his friend have at least 40 years of aircraft experience between them and neither had ever seen anything like this.

I was viewing the Mountain Valley Park fire works from my backyard in P.V. Off into the distance in the Mingus Mountains, I spotted a blinking light. (Not real fast) This light changed from Red to White. It also appeared to toss in the color Blue/Green at times. I watched this "light" make incredible moves up and down and 45° to arched 90° angles. This movement was also relatively fast. Instead of watching the fireworks I spent my time involved with this light. I did get my camera out and tried to record this. All I can see is a BLACK screen!!! But.... It seems that I DID capture a tiny, tiny blinking light towards the lower left part of my screen. Again.... This is TINY! This light moved a bit off and on… But, for the most part just stayed still. (Besides those larger movements above.) The craziest part was when it left the sky!!! This object went DIRECTLY DOWN STRAIGHT. I could no longer see it. The Mingus Mountains were the backgr! ound. Never seen such a strange site in the night sky before.

I was laying on my back in the Tempe beach park waiting for the fireworks show and looking at stars and planes flying over head. The sky was relatively clear with scattered clouds but clear near the event I witnessed. I noticed a blinking star in a fixed point almost directly above me. It reminded me of the size of a satellite traveling. The object however, did not move. It blinked for a few seconds and went dark. I watched around the area expecting to see it blink again in a different place as when a plane is visible or again, a satellite. After a second or two, it began blinking again in the same spot. It blinked for less time than when I first noticed it, then it was gone for good. I have been a sky watcher for almost forty years and can confidently say it was too high up to have been a helicopter.

At 1:00a.m. my son and I went out to walk the dog. He had seen this event the night before also when he walked the dog alone. Up in the sky was this translucent blue and white looking circular light. As we spoke about it and to it, an orange/red light ran through it as if it could tell we were speaking to it. It would morph into a cylinder light. I wonder if it were moving around or spinning. It would get long and thin and then become round again. It would pulsate also when we were talking so it looked like the lights were blinking in it. It was difficult to get an exact shape. It split a couple of times or appeared to. It moved up and over to the right as we walked the dog around. We went back inside as I wanted to share this with you. It was almost like a living entity, like it responded. I got a little scared for a second and it grew dimmer. As I relaxed it got brighter like it was proud or communicating. One thing interesting. We walk our dog about 5-10 minutes at a time. She does her business and we go in. It seemed we just got out there and it was 30 minutes later.

Saw 5 to 7 strobing (5 sec) then disappearing lights (5 sec) in a straight line traveling South, South East over East Tucson. No noise, too dark to see any sort of craft.

My husband and I live about thirty miles west of Tucson. We were driving home from Tucson for the evening. At 20:43 an orange light suddenly lit up in the sky over the Kitt Peak Observatory. It lasted approximately forty five seconds then simply dimmed and went out.

We were driving down the 347 and these two really bright orbs about 20 miles away from each other were just hovering one over maricopa mountain and another over wild horse pass casino me and my girlfriend kept looking back because they were just hovering in the same spot far away from each other and we were like wow and we kept driving an looked back about 2 minutes later and one was on top of the other. The location that they traveled to was very far in a very short time and for them to be right on top of each seems odd plus it's near South Mountain a hotspot for UFO sighting and it's actually still in the sky as I'm typing.

We were driving and got off 101 onto Price rd heading south and 3 to 4 firballs flew across us they were going east. They seemed to be flying low and then they formed a triangle with the 3 the other one disapeared. Then about 5 min later they disapeared.

Was driving with my wife and son headed north on the 101 and took the price exit. The first stop light we saw 3 bright orange like fireballs crossed our path up in the sky. They looked like they were flying low and they were round and glowing orange. We were stopped and the were headed east. we turned around to get our camera and they turned into a triangle shape and then disapeared. Couldn't get any photos. They were moving to fast I guess.

All objects were orange bright lights. We were driving eastbound on I-8 around Gila Bend, AZ when we noticed a single orange light to the south. It appeared to be about 5-10 miles away and approx. 2-3000 feet up. At times we could see the background of the mountains silhouetting from the orange glow of the light and it also appeared to have a smoke trail coming from the light. The single light stayed up for a few minutes, then disappeared. within seconds, it reappeared, then a second orange light appeared at the same altitude. It also appeared to have a light smoke trail coming from it. Then about 5 tracer lights shot from the second light and disappeared. Then within a few seconds another round of tracer lights appeared but came the sky towards the light. Then the two lights faded and a single light appeared and then second light and then a third light. Within a few minutes they all disappeared. My nephew said he could make out a shadowy figure aroun! d the orange lights, but I was driving and wasn't able to stare at it long enough to make it out. Made a noise inconsistent with a plane flying at that altitude. There were flashing lights similar to those of a plane, but unusual: one steady green light, and two alternating red lights all in a line. The object passed directly over me, and the lights revealed the shape of the craft - looking circular--no wing shapes, just a circle. It continued in the line and turned left out of sight. witnessed what appeared to be at first to local craft or skydivers that held position over Verde Santa Fe development three more objects swooped in from the right just below them the initial 2 stationary objects the smaller behind the primary danced around the other. three following in formation one of the three that followed formation was red the other four remaining objects were silverish in nature very faint very small have taken pictures but unidentified on video the objects remained for approximately 5-0 minutes then eventually faded from sight.

Very large and clear, low in the sky, but too high to be fireworks, too low and quiet to be a plane. Too low to have been a falling star. Glowing, red fire ball shot across the sky and then faded out instantly. We confirmed with the witness that the sighting was in the evening, and we have amended the time to reflect that fact. PD

At 8:45 PM, I was in the parking lot of family dollar in Black Canyon City, waiting for my family to come out of the store, when in the east there was a bright orange light. I looked in the car for my binoculars on the seat in the 2 seconds it took to do that the light was in the North immediately over head.. I watched it quickly fly away.. At that time my family came out of the store.. In the east we all witnessed two bright orange lights parallel to each other then they turned together and slowly their lights faded away.. That was at 8:50 about 5 minutes after the one I encountered. Five minutes later the same thing happened with two lights. It looked like one craft very very large at 9:00 we did not see anything else. When it turned it was without a doubt one craft it looks like the wings were tilting to gain altitude.

Myself, daughter, friend and several other drivers pulled over to watch the formation of possibly 16 lights. Flying slowly in formation, all lights were the same size, color, and seemed to fade away. not fly up, across, but just disappeared.

I was ((flying)) a cessna 150 from east to west at 8500 feet, when I noticed a bright metallic red object off the left side of my nose at about my 11 o'clock. It very rapidly sped toward me, and when it seemed to be about 30 feet off my left wing, it seemed to slow down considerably. Once it transitioned to about my 7 o'clock, I lost it in the morning sun. As I sat in my computer room doing research, guns went off I of course ignored them. About three minutes later my mom came running in the house telling me to go outside. My neighbors across the way said there were 30 lights over their house which moved in the direction of NE from Sky Harbor airport, from the location of my house the lights were NW. I am a amateur deep space astrophotographer, so I definitely can identify any normal aircraft or lights in the sky when I see them. By the time I got outside there were 20 lights. I did not want to move for fear I might miss something. I ran to grab my Canon rebel T3i with the telephoto lens. When I went outside my hands and body were so shaky, I guess that is why spare of the moment photographs of UFO's are not clear. My neighbor however got a video. While all this was going on the lights dropped down to ten, still ascending NW. At this point my dog in the house was going crazy. Once the lights got to about 7 or 8 they began to make a triangle formation. It looked like a triangle with one flat side parallel to the ground with the top tip point bent forward while it all rotated on a lazy-susan. When any of the lights began to disappear they would blink in and out then slowly fade into a dim disappearance. The video shows three lights stationary while a helicopter goes across ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1OLecTpZy4 . One of my neighbors who witnessed the UFO's is a aircraft mechanic, he could not identify any aircraft that he knows to make such formations or behave in such a way. The lights traveled NE and disappeared; both away from sky harbor and my house.
