Orange glowing circle traveling from south to north, no flashing lights that resemble aircraft, it began to look as if it slowed and then went vertical and vanished. A plane went thru same area about 15 minutes later and I could hear it and see the lights flashing the orange glow had none of these features.

2 Bright orange orbs flying in tandem/formation over Hudson River near 145 street in Manhattan, NYC [was raised in that area so I’m pretty sure about location]. I pulled out my phone and took 3 pictures while driving on the Henry Hudson Parkway going northbound [hard to do driving 50mph]. Orbs were approx. 90 ~ 100 ft. above Hudson River at a distance from my vehicle of about 2 city blocks when first spotted. Orbs were traveling southbound @ perhaps 40mph? Second glance I saw the second orb trailing behind the first [probably 30 ft. distance] and also descending and getting closer to the River. This time I tried to figure out their sizes but couldn't really determine it so I guessed that the circumference was about the length of my car [15 ft.?] They continued on their southern path at the same speed. I slowed down my vehicle to try to get a 3rd and a better look [some Brokeback mountain guy in his Lego set Toyota was honking his horn behind me until he saw me pointing out my window and at the object. I saw his jaw drop and his eyes open via my rear view as he saw the orbs] I ignored the driver behind me and looked to see that both orbs came to a complete stop in unison for about 5 or 6 seconds, then they continued to move southbound at the same speed I mentioned previously. I lost sight of them as I continued to travel northbound. Both orbs were a steady bright luminescent orange with a slightly yellow tinted center [took a better look when they stopped]. I couldn’t hear any sounds as the orbs flew by due to a commercial plane flying overhead and there was a good amount of cars on both sides cancelling out all other noises. At first I may have assumed they were military drones but I couldn’t find any reason to that [if military then why orange orbs?] especially when they completely stopped in mid-flight for more than a few seconds and then both continued their flight at the same time. As I approached the George Washington Bridge I noticed several helicopters flying around and what seemed like 2 military jets circling the area as if they were searching for something. This was really strange. The 2 orbs were definitely UFO's [not saying a spaceship carrying aliens from another planet as many people ALWAYS assume that about UFO's] I couldn’t stop talking about it at work while people are staring at me listening to the story like I’m crazy. I quickly lessen their skepticism after showing the photos. I searched Google Images and YouTube and found that these Orange Orbs are a very common sighting especially around the Hudson River from Manhattan all the way up north as far as Albany. I guess it was my turn to see them...

It was a bright circle of bluish-white light hovering what looked to be a few miles away from my house. It was too bright to be a star or any other celestial object. It did not move until about 45 seconds later, in which it started moving rapidly in a westward direction. To me, it appeared to be moving faster than any helicopter. Also, the light on the object appeared to be too bright to be a helicopter at that distance. The object made no noise at any time.

Stationary Red Circular object was observed in the eastern sky. After a few minutes it moved horizontally to the left at a high rate of speed then stopped and turned Green. Object then zig zagged and moved back to the area it was first spotted, turning to a red color. A few minutes passed and the object turned green and dropped out of sight. Before the object dropped, we noticed two drone planes flying past us in a northwesterly direction at a low altitude.

I live in Chittenango, NY, and in the western sky over Syracuse, I observed these objects. The first one caught my eye because of the unusual bright orange color. It showed up a little below what I think is the planet Venus, one of the brightest stars in the sky right now. It was coming toward me at a slight angle. Size and intensity both slightly greater than Venus. Witnessed it on a straight trajectory that lasted for 12 to 15 seconds. Grew in size slightly as it approached. Flew a distance of 6 inches on a ruler if held at arm's length across the sky before "phasing out" over 2 to 3 seconds. About 10 seconds later a second one "phased in", flew the same trajectory for the same distance and time and then also phased out. Perfectly clear night, absolutely no sound, the brightest objects in the sky short of the full moon in the opposite side of the sky. I am a pilot and this was definitely not a plane or a jet's afterburner. Perfectly round brilliant orange. Never have seen anything that color in the sky, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

On May 1, 2015, at 9:28pm, I saw what I think was a meteor. A large flash of neon green light with gold and white trailed through the sky. The tail reminding me of sparklers. Heading north, arching from about 8 o’clock to 7. The tail seemed thicker than usual. If a normal tail would be 1/8" to 1/4" looking like a golden thread, this one seemed to be more like 3/8” to 1/2” lasting a few seconds.

Object started off as a light flash and was initially mistaken for a helicopter. The light was about 100 feet above the ground. The white flash turned into a large blue and green fireball. The ball had a tail with streaks of green, blue and purple following it. The fireball began a very rapid descent for about 15 seconds before disappearing, seemingly into thin air. No crash was heard or felt and there where no metor reports for this town or area reported that night.

My wife and I went for our usual coffee run up to Lake George in our car and I was driving we were heading north up Canada street when I noticed a orange/red glow in the sky I said to my wife (look someone is camping on the mountain with a camp fire) than we both realized that it was moving, we turned left by the school and stopped in the road and watched as it went over Lake George village, we were worried that it was a airplane with engine trouble, so we went right to warren county airport but it was all quiet, we went home called the warren county sheriff the officer said it was most likely a Chinese kite with a candle, NO WAY it went all the way across the sky from over the mountain from the north west to the south east in a controlled flight in a general heading to the airport.

Driving south down route 302 out of Pine Bush, NY, passing by Thompson Ridge, NY, 5:30am this morning just before dawn, saw hovering just above treetops 5 or 6 dim white lights closely spaced and tilted at a slight angle to the ground. No flashing FAA lights. Hovering over an uninhabited large swampy area just south of Thompson Ridge. One large craft or 5-6 small ones? Was in sight for 2-3 seconds, pulled out my phone to take video as I was driving, my view was obscured for a split second by a couple of trees, and when I next looked the lights had vanished.

I was at a friends house climbing under his bed to get a ball that had rolled under it at about 10 pm. Then I blink my eyes and im laying down staring at the ceiling on his couch in his room with a blanket on top of me, that was originally in the washing machine down stairs. I look at the clock it was 3 am about 6 hours later. I then looked over at my 3rd friend who was staring at the wall i yelled to him he didnt respond, i found that i was unable to move my body and i felt very "out of it" almost like i was drugged. My 2nd friend who was laying down into his bed then said dude what the fuck happened, i blinked and i woke up here in my bed last i remember i was at my computer desk typing a paper. his paper was still open on the computer screen. I dont remember any of this and he said this it what happens when you get visited, and i said what do you mean visited? and he said by aliens like we were probably taken and then put back, we then turn our! heads to the 3rd friend who is still standing staring at the wall we both yell to him he dosent move. He keeps standing and staring at the wall, we kept yelling, i finally gett up, it was like my body had been freed of what ever was keeping me from moving. still standing the third friend turns around and his eyes are completely white. He then shakes his head looks down and grabs his long board and leaves the hose, he had no memory of the incident, he said he didnt even remember walking home, we then get up and go visit my 4th friend in the other bedroom, he said the lights got turned on at about 12 am my girl friend and i could see bright lights under the door , we just thought you guys were smoking, but none of us had gotten up to smoke more. my 2nd friend and i remember hearing a humming sound and mumbling of voices. We will post this report, only because we are rather liberal in our policy regarding reports of dubious authenticity, but we suspect that this may be a hoax. PD

Three lights crossed the sky at a high speed, one after another, flying very low below the clouds from south to north. The first was very distinctly blue and appeared to be circular in shape. It was followed a few seconds after by a green light traveling at a similar high speed and low altitude, it's path curving slightly to follow the first. About 20 seconds after, the first two lights were followed by a third of indistinguishable color, flying at a similar speed but slightly higher altitude. Witnesses include myself and my two roommates, out for a cigarette at around 9:30 pm. I like to keep an eye on the sky, but I've never once seen anything strange like this. Because the third light traveled at a higher altitude, it was a more conventional appearance... But none of us can explain the appearance of the first two lights in particular. It's difficult to draw an immediate conclusion, but the third seemed to be another type of flying object pursuing the first! two lights.

Up down and left to right. It would stay in one spot for a bit then move fast in a different direction. It was very bright and a lot bigger than an airplane. I have never seen anything like this. It left very fast in one direction. (( We suspect a sighting of Venus. PD)

On Saturday, April 18, 2015, at around 8:pm EST, I looked out the window to watch the stars come out. I noticed a brilliant white light, in a tall triangular shape, in the NW sector of the sky, from where I was located in a house atop a hill in the West Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island, NY. The light object was much brighter than the stars appearing, even brighter than a planet would normally look from the naked eye. Its shape was like a thin Christmas tree; I observed a red spot on the top of the “structure,” white triangular long base, and three white dots positioned under the base. From my perspective, the form was atleast five times larger than the other visible stars, and atleast two to three times bigger than planets I have seen in the night sky. The object appeared to be stationary. I saw it scrunch down in size briefly, to approximately two thirds of its original size. I was viewing it from inside the window at this time, and altered my position to see if it was a reflection, or distortion due to the screen, but I was seeing it from the clear pane of the window, above the half screen, in any case. I went outside to the front porch to view it again. It was still there (maybe ten minutes had passed), and had a soft white halo around it. It stayed in the same place as I studied it from the porch, with no obstruction blocking or changing its image, as far as I could see. The tall triangular brilliant white object with the red top beacon, outshined the visible stars in the sky, as well as looking much larger than them (same size as listed before). It remained in the same spot, as far as I could tell, for the duration of five minutes that I watched it. I went back inside and checked it from the window. No movement. I decided to check on the light shape the next hour, and when I looked out at 9:pm, the object was gone. On Tuesday, 4/21/15, I saw what appeared to be the same object, in the same basic spot. It did look smaller, and this time I saw it slowly move away, towards and above Bayonne, New Jersey’s, skies, a bit further to the left of where I first saw it on Saturday 4/18/15. It continued to move on a steady course, appearing to decrease in size, though I think that was due to it leaving the vicinity. I lost sight of it when it moved to the left and my view was blocked by a neighboring building across the street. Witness is well known to NUFORC, and we consider her to be quite reliable. PD

On Friday April 17, 2015-today in fact, at first I saw an object that looked like a bird flying up in the air not too far from a jet, which I assume was on a flight path for a landing at either JFK or LaGuardia airport nearby. It was 5:55 pm, sunny, and most people in suburbia here on Long Island were on their way home from work. What caught my attention first was the fact that the object was up so high. And the next fact was that although it appeared bird like, it was traveling at a high rate of speed. It looked white at first then silver. In fact, it was going faster than the jet! It had descended and as I watched (with my prescription sunglasses on), from my car in a parking field, the object went from a northeasterly direction on my right towards the west on my left. I grabbed for my phone to take a photo but decided to keep watching instead-the object became an orb joining another orb that spun around it. The two continued on then met up with another 3 or 4 orbs encircling them before ascending and disappearing! This was near Roosevelt Field, Long Island, NY. A Marines base is nearby. Is this military? Does the FAA know about this, I'm a former newspaper reporter and editor.

the craft came from over the mountains heading towards my direction the craft appeared to be illuminating a reddish orange glow it was traveling at a very descent speed there was no blinking lights indicting a plane of any kind it stayed illuminated as a firey orange glow gliding across the sky making absolutely no noise completely silent above me as I called my second viewer to confirm what I was seeing we both watched it in disbelief as it went over us which was very visible among the clear night sky it appeared to be almost a teardrop circular shape we continued to watch it head away where it was still visible and then all of a sudden it started getting smaller and just vanished as if it wasn't there at all this took place around 2 minutes where we had tried to capture video but was unsuccessful with the camera phones we were using mine just looks like a dot of light moving in blackness but brighter than the stars that weren't showing up at all just this craft as a dot of light on my video

Light resembling red road flare, slightly flickering, travelling north and meandering. No FAA light, headlights or wing lights. Suddenly dropped a faint white light that disappeared within one second then approximately ten seconds later, directly overhead, split into two separate lights, one white, one red, which cruised alongside each other for maybe two seconds before switching color and intensity with each other. Then the white one (original red light) disappeared and the new red light continued north northeast for a few more seconds before fading and disappearing completely. Absolutely no sound. Weather calm, slight rain and low clouds. Light may have gone behind clouds. Altitude seemed that of a cruising single prop plane or lower. I am a keen outdoors man whom trusts his senses and have not drank alcohol or taken any medication of any kind. Airplanes are common and recognizable in this area as there is a public international airport and Air Force base close by. This light/object approached from the west of these air installations and traveled over the south edge of NY power reservoir before sighting ended. Not the first time I've seen unusual lights in this area but this was worth mentioning. My description does not convey how scary this was.

To whom it may concern , on 4/13/15 looking south westerly around 9 pm at the night sky in Long Beach, NY, I witnessed a very spectacular unidentifiable event that I have never seen in my 48 yrs of life. This was without question, something that must be from another world. The orange lights looked as if it was a huge fountain of the largest fireworks ever that were stopped, (freeze framed) for 10-15 seconds. Suddenly they started moving forming a not so perfect circle, then forming a v-shape, then a not so perfect line. Then one by one disappeared. I have never witnessed a ufo before but now I have. I am true believer and their were several witnesses around me. BTW, the Long Beach Herald investigated and assured that there were no Chinese lanterns sent up anywhere that night. Even if there was, this way too far and were controlled.... ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Yes Peter it was 100% the 14th. On my way home from work, I spotted some large bright orange looking lights off to the east side of Rt. 58. I pulled over to try to get a photo and watched as two lights blinked off and on. As I observed, I saw that the objects had red lights and yellow lights rotating around on a horizontal axis. All the lights would blink out and the individual objects seemed to travel hundreds of yards and the lights would blink back on again. At one point two of the objects seemed to rotate around each other as if they were exchanging information. At one point, there were three in a line and another hovering a few hundred feet away. They were fairly large, much larger than satellites appear to be. Each one had three red lights and several yellow lights. I couldn't tell if they were spherical objects or disc shaped, but the lights seemed to rotate around the circumference on the horizontal axis. They seemed to be fairly low in the sky and close to the road, because I first saw two of them through the treetops and then came out of the trees and could see them very clearly. It was a clear night with no clouds and no storms or lightening. This was not a reflection, either, as there were no lights in the area to be reflected. This happened on a rural country road with no local business lighting that could have been mistaken for this strange phenomenon. When I got out of the car to take video with my phone, all the lights blinked out.

Suddenly woke at 4am and had urge to go outside. Went into yard and there was a clear sky with the moon and Saturn very bright. Then there appeared a cloud formation--big clouds coming toward. Then a cylinder appeared in the clouds. It was yellow and moving toward earth. It changed color to orange red. After about an hour the cylinder suddenly disappeared and the clouds disappeared afterwards.
