Sitting in my backyard facing East when I saw an object come out of a cloud from the N.E.. It caught my attention because it was unusual. I yelled at my son (who is in his early 30's) who was mowing the lawn. He came and observed it with me as it went out of site to the South. It was oval, whitish gold traveling very fast. If you held a pea at arm's length, that is how big it was I could not tell distance or height. I was reluctant to report this because of how people get ridiculed. On 05/24/16 at 2:04AM, I was wide awake reading the news of the day on my cell phone, when suddenly I proceeded to hear an oncoming sound that was rapidly increasing in volume. This noise was so distinct that I could make out the direction of travel from inside my home. The increase in volume became extreme in a matter of seconds to where I was expecting to see lights before actual impact. The reason I say lights is because I live very high up on a hill and the only thing that could be that high would have to be an aircraft. The problem was that the unbelievably intense sound that I heard was that of what a semi truck would make when it gears down, not that of an aircraft. The moment I was sure of impending impact, everything became silent. My first reaction was "a commercial plane just buzzed my house and it was way too close." I was mad enough to where I looked out my large window into the overcast darkness to get a visual of this "plane." What I saw was a large white light appearing in my window while slowly moving until it disappeared from view due to the window frame. All of a sudden I see a second large white light now appearing in my window where the previous light had been before it moved out of my sight. I thought that it must of been two planes that buzzed my house and made the noise I heard. I got up and walked to the window to get a look at the source of my anger when I realized that not only was there two white lights, but a large steady red light that had been out of sight because of my window. These three lights made an absolute perfect triangular shape in the sky. So precise was the formation that I was searching to see the body of what was holding these lights in such perfect form. I could see nothing except these three lights. There was no solid body, blinking lights, noise, straying out of the formation, nothing. I stood in awe due to the perfection of the formation as it slowly started to disappear heading North over the tree line. I did not leave the window but watched until all I could see were the trees. I had to have some kind of affirmation that I was not alone in what had just happened, so I called 911 asking if anyone had called in due to hearing an unbelievably loud noise. I knew there was no possibility a person could of not heard what I had. The operator told me that there had been no reports of such a noise and then asked me what had happened. After I explained what I had experienced, she gave me the phone number of the Washington State UFO Center and also the Air Force Base located outside Seattle, WA. I then called my husband who had been at work and told him what had happened. The next day I called the UFO Center and was instructed to document my experience. Since I did not have internet access up and running yet, I told the UFO Center that I would as soon as I am able. I also proceeded to call the Air Force, wanting to see if they had a report of anything unusual. I was told someone would look into it and get back to me. A day later I received a call informing me that the Base had 3 Black Hawk Helicopters flying over my area on the same day around the same time frame of my experience. What is interesting is that 2 weeks after my incident happened, my husband found on the internet that on the same day of my sighting there were 2 other sightings in different locations of 3 solid lights in triangular form moving North.

The UFO I saw flew in from the North, it hovered over top of the most eastern switchyard. Could see red and blue lights and a bright white flashing light underneath, it then proceeded North and dropped behind the Hilltop. Watch for several minutes did not appear again until maybe 15 minutes later and was taking straight up into the air. Didn't seem to climb to a very high altitude could barely see if my binoculars, then it shot towards the North. I have video, and have an US Air Force friend who witnessed this with me. Hoax. I was looking East, toward the U of W campus on Friday night around 10pm when I saw 3 aircraft flying in a triangular formation toward me. They were identical, with a kind of pulsing sweeping red glow. They approached flying East to West over the University District and then turned South and flew toward downtown, as they headed South, they appeared to accelerate, and two more identical craft appeared from the East and followed the same path. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he impressed us as being quite eloquent and sober-minded. We suspect that he is a highly reliable witness. was out on back porch and the moon was bright and full. Saw this flickering light moving around the moon. cannot say the shape of it but the lights were changing colors. Yellow, red, blue. it moved quickly...jumping around left right up down...with no sound. I watched it for about 30 minutes and then went inside to get my camera. Came back out side and took some video. Went back inside and woke my husband up to look at it. Neither of use could figure out what it was. kept going outside every once in awhile and it was still there. My son came home from work about 2300 approx and he too came outside to watch it. After awhile we went inside. not sure how long it was there but we observed it for approx 3 hours.

2 round bright red/orange lights..coming from southwest. Separate at first the first circle apppeared and then a second circle approached quickly and they paired up and moved north east in unison. the first light then appeared to go up in the sky and disaPpeared, followed by the second light approx 8 seconds later. No sound and in the camera recording and pictures lights appear to be white.

My husband was out the back door having a cigarette, he came quickly through the house to the front door and said there were 2 UFOs moving north, we both were on the front deck looking south watching 2 bright orange UFOs. We over look Bellingham Bay, we face the City of Bellingham. One was slightly ahead of the 2nd one, moving in sync slowly north, we couldn't hear them. They were over Portage Island, & south Lummi Island, I grabbed my sons camera off the table, checked to see if the flash was off, and took 2 pictures while on the front deck. I moved while taking both pictures cause the aperture was slow taking a night picture & trying to focus. After the 2nd picture they both quickly disappeared heading southward. The pictures do show how bright they were in the sky.

Approximately 10:00 pm in Grayland, WA. Traveling south from Westport along the coastline, I saw a bright Reddish/Orange light in the sky approximately 100 to 150 feet above my vehicle. It was moving at about the same speed that I was traveling and in the same direction. It moved west toward the beach from Highway 101 and back toward me several times as I made my way South for nearly 3 miles. I and the vehicle behind me pulled to the side of the highway at our first opportunity. The “Light” stopped for a brief moment (approximately 2 to 3 minutes) and stayed at the same altitude and distance from my location. It then slowly began to move south again gradually gaining speed. I followed it until it seemed to decrease in size until it disappeared and was gone. There were 5 of us that seen it.

An orange orb had risen from the North horizen behind the Vancouver Plaza theater at a 45 degree angle heading South but disappeared behind a tree in front of our parked car obstructing my view. Couple mins later it happened again like Deja Vu, So I got out of the car and ran past the tree this time so I could be ready. It came in the distance again and so I rushed to hurry and urinate. The object taking longer than I expected to arrive, I ran back to the car again behind the tree as before tryng to wake my tired friend. But inside the car the roof blocked his view. It made no sound as It came out the other side of the tree at a 45-degree angle in front of me. To my surprise was no longer a orange flare anymore but had transformed or appeared as a white haze (Like spider's nest) with black or transparent inner-pie-section rotating clockwise, identical to a helicopter's rapid-blade (Like the 80's party game Simon with touch light) with motion creating a optical illusion slowly rotating within the blade movement. I can't make this stuff up it might be blade based or actually military reverse engineered who knows?. All I can say is if so I'd like to have one instead of wasting our natural resources polluting the planet not knowing the consquences (earthquakes hint hint.) Object flew across entire horizen in 1-minute straight like a sattellite and keep in mind it was clear skies even though it looked like a white light hitting a cloud. Coincedently or not it became cloudy about 15 mins after sighting so maybe it accidently missed its cloud covering or had to stick to the some mission on schedule or avoid the clouds; who knows?

I've recently gotten into my new telescope and with the break in the weather I wanted to go look up at the stars. While I was in my backyard looking up this small orange/yellow orb like object without any sound went whizzing by from east to west in a very fast way and I lost it in the trees and could no longer follow it. It was low enough where I could tell it was NOT a satellite. Paine Field airport where one of the Boeing plants are located is due west of me and corresponds with other sitings listed here. After reading some of the other local reports around the same timeline it leads me to think there is a direct connection with their views and observations. I REALLY wanted to see more. I'm a private pilot and have never witnessed anything like this before.

I was having dinner with my parents at their home. In the middle of the dinner, as I was talking with my mother, she interrupted me and asked out loud, "What is that in the sky?!" I turned to my left and saw her looking out the sliding glass door window and into the cloudless, eastern blue sky. I asked her what it was she was seeing. She said, "There, up in the sky. That thing is shiny and floating slowly away! Is it a balloon?" I got up from the dinner table and walked over to the window and looked out. In the distance, across and up in the sky–I would say about a few hundred feet in the air, I saw a slow moving object with an oblong oval shape. It appeared to be more wider vertically than the top and bottom which was more shorter in height than its width. The bright western sunlight reflected off the object, which appeared to be like a bright and shiny metallic surface. The size of the object appeared a little smaller than the body length of a Cessna plane. My mother asked if it was a drone or a helicopter. I told her, "No," as it did not make any sound. My dad then came over to the window and he saw it. He was giving the same description that I saw on how it looked. The strange thing is, this craft was coming from the direction of the runway at nearby Paine Field airport where planes take off and land, but we knew that it could not have just taken off from the runway because it was moving too slow, and was too high since it was so close to the runway. My dad and I then noticed the craft seemed to climb a few feet higher with its back end in the air and its front lowered at an angle. We watched the craft drift along to the south for about five minutes. Then before we knew it, the craft, which was still visible and not too far off, quickly started fading and disappeared against the blue sky just moments before a large airliner appeared from the south as it was getting ready to land at the Paine Field runway. We are not sure what this craft was as the entire duration of it went from the north eastern sky to the south. The amazing thing is, is how it disappeared entirely so quickly since it traveled so slow. We would like to remain anonymous at this time, but will report any possible future sightings. My boyfriend and I stepped onto our back porch, and I looked up and saw a solid black, tear shaped, almost hairy looking (I know that sounds weird but it wasn't shiny and there seemed to be something around it that gave it a spiky looking texture), object, headed 150 degrees SE of Seattle at around 3,500-4,000 ft. It moved slowly, almost a floating motion with absolutely no sound, no lights. The moon was almost full, half of the sky was clear and the other half had low incoming clouds. The object flew through the direct moonlight but there was no moonlight reflection on the object as if the object surface was a flat black. The object seemed to slow down and hover as it reached a large group of clouds and became harder and harder to see, its outline became vague and soon, I could no longer spot it. It seemed to camouflage itself against sky. When it was against the clear sky, it was impossible to see until it was in the moonlight. It ended up kind of blending with the clouds it approached. Size wise, it was smaller than a 747, but larger than a minivan. My boyfriend didn't have his glasses on so he did not see the details I did but he did see its movement. Due to a technical error in our database program, although the date for this report was corrected before our posting on April 22nd, 2016, the report, nevertheless, indicated a date of April 21st. The flawed date should be corrected with our next posting. PD

It was moving slowly south to north along I-5, was really bright, didn't have any red or green marker lights, and didn't make any sound. I took a pic. and some video, but wasn't good enough to show any shape. The object started dimming some and then got brighter again and slowly turned to the east before dimming and disappearing again.

On a moonlit walk around my neighborhood, I looked through my camera-phone to frame a picture of the full moon and snapped the picture with only the moon and trees in the frame. When I looked at the picture, a rectangular and lighted objected appeared as part of the picture, however I did not see anything in the sky before or after taking the picture.

Sitting in the back of my truck around 1am looking at the stars when my friend and I saw a bright (white) light that continued to get brighter and larger. The light continued to get brighter for about 30 seconds to a minute until it disappeared. The light did not move and it was stationary.

The UFO started as a burst of flash about every minute, then a bigger more continuous flash as it began moving. From where we stood at about 600ft. elevation, we watched the flashing begin at mid horizon, meaning in the sky between the horizon and straight up. We could see it over a tree line rising 80 feet, as we stood about 100 feet away from those trees. The flash was to the southeast, and moved in an eastward direction. The object seemed to be far away in the sky, above an airplane flight path at 30,000 feet; closer then a satellite. I thought something was exploding in space, like a decommissioned space station or maybe a larger pile of space trash. The way it flashed at first, like something catching fire, then dropping a little, then really falling, but along the curvature of the earth, not straight down like a stone within our gravitational pull. This was my first sighting of something I would have to call a UFO. My partner was with me, he moved around in the field to catch the light from other angles. We thought at first it might have been a plane coming in for a landing in Seattle, but the sudden explosive flashes in combination with its flight path did not match any plane we've ever watched coming in near SEATAC. At 8:45 pm, looking SE, two silent, orange lights appeared, moving north to south and then disappearing up se. Soon after 3 more appeared and followed the same path. There was no noise and they were orange. The photos do not show an orange ball, but from our eyes, that's what we saw. Checking on the weather website there was no wind direction at that time. Thinking they were about 30 degrees. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she sounded to us to be quite sober-minded. Please see other similar reports for the same date. PD
