I was heading west on route 22. I first noticed the two orange spheres (one above the other) on the far west side of the airport when I was driving past the exit before airport rd. airport road on the north side of 22 is where the airport (west side)Lehigh - Northampton Airport Authority / 3311 Airport Road/Allentown, PA, 18109 /1-800-FLY-LVIA and the state trooper barracks m (east side) is located. Trooper Address: 2930 Airport Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017 Trooper Phone:(610) 861-2026. At a distance, when I first noticed them, they didn't catch my attention as anything out of the ordinary. I used to live in an apartment complex behind me a ways and I saw air traffic all the time. But as I got closer I realized these two things had no body to them, also as a side note there was zero air traffic going on before, during, or after the event. The best I could see them because of trees getting in the way, they were encircling the airport complex from the west side over the south side and hangar area to where I was on the southeast side right above the corner of the complex near the clover leaf ramps. This is the only part I'm going to go out on a limb with because at the moment I pulled off on the side of the road on the exiting ramp, the two objects which had been moving quickly had now nearly stopped. the bottom object just before this.. sorry I should mention they had been in a uniform position together up to this point one above the other.. the bottom object had broken away from the top one and was moving about just a little bit, going out and coming back into this formation. As they had slowed way down to almost now hovering a good football field height above the ground and almost the same distance away from me at about a 2'o clock from my windshield, out of the corner of my eye to the north, right side of me through my passenger window, the state barracks m helicopter was lighting up and taking off of the pad. I "think" these two objects with their slow down were responding to helicopter churning up and leaving the ground. Of course, maybe. This is when I quickly unbuckled, shifted to the passenger seat, had my hand on the iPhone which was all wired up to the truck to listen to music. By the time I had sat down and was looking out of the window these two objects had broke formation and were next to each other by perhaps 3 times the distance from one another as they were in the original formation. They were now on the north side of the field well past race street. That's a distance of about a mile roughly in the 3 seconds it took me to switch seats and regain visual on them. They then disappeared into the cloud bank. At the same time the helicopter was just banking in their direction and heading in that direction. After the banking, the helicopter shut off all lights including any flashers. They had no flashers even when they "went after" these things into the low cloud bank. I watched for a little while longer but I'm on a time crunch with my delivery and had to go. So two things before I finish.. One, the orange spheres were beautiful. the orange was like looking into a ball of sodium light.. but also, not like looking into a street sodium light.. The color was the same, except it had that alive/electric look to it that perhaps looking into the center of a lit sparkler would have. They also had a red plasma/lightning rippling effect over the balls.. That's why it was twinkling when I saw them at distances. There were other people that were not only pulled over like the two cars at the top shoulder of the ramp.. but the right lane of airport rd. heading north before the airport/barracks light had completely stopped under them. I don't know why else these people would be stopped in either places. Like all of my experiences with this phenomenon, another one for the books. Thank you Mr. Davenport for all you do.. remember, there are a lot of us out there that depend on you for what you do. I believe this is one of the most important issues in our society. It's a huge shame so little of us are paying attention to it. I promise to report everything I see from now on. This job in the middle of the night gives me a huge chance to catch these things. I should really invest in a fish eye go pro!!

Claysburg, PA

To give some background on our sky-watching experience, my 14-year-old son and I have spent a great deal of time watching satellites in the evenings. Over the last five years, we have spent 1-2 hours lying on a blanket in our back yard having contests to see who can spot the most satellites. We have done this on a total of at least 50 separate occasions. I am also registered on the Heavens-Above web site. I have taken printouts of satellite and rocket passes outside with us and waited for the passes to occur. We have watched rockets tumble, which look like a blinking satellite as the sun reflects off the different surfaces of the rocket. We have watched Iridium Flare and International Space Station passes as well. To summarize, my son and I know what we are looking at. We understand the difference between an aircraft and a satellite passing overhead. Well, at least that’s what we thought, until the evening of February 6th, 2016. We were skiing at Blue Knob Ski Resort, located approximately 6 miles west of Claysburg, PA, at an altitude of 3120 ft. The sun set shortly after 17:30. At approximately 19:00, we were on the Route 66 ski lift traveling slowly in a southwesterly direction. I was sitting on the left and my son was sitting on the right. The sky was completely clear and dark. With unlimited visibility, I commented on how beautiful the night sky was because of the lack of light pollution compared to where we live, which allowed us to see many more stars than we would normally see. Just as we were passing over the Upper Extrovert ski trail, my son said “Oh my God! Look at those two satellites traveling together, side by side” as he pointed in a southeasterly direction. I looked in the southeasterly direction to where my son was pointing, near the constellation Orion. At approximately 80 degrees from the horizion, I immediately saw what looked like two satellites with a brightness magnitude of approximately -1 traveling in a northerly direction. The distance of the two objects from us seemed to be the same as a typical communication satellite just outside of the Earth’s atmosphere. The brightness magnitude of the two objects remained constant throughout this entire observation. There were no audible sounds from the two objects whatsoever. The two objects were separated by about 10 degrees and traveling approximately two to three times the velocity of a normal satellite. The distance between the two objects was decreasing and after approximately 4 seconds, I was expecting the two objects to pass over each other. Instead, the two objects remained closely together and continued to travel in a northerly direction for another three to four seconds. The two objects, very smoothly, in approximately two seconds, decelerated to a stop. It was very clear that they came to a stop because the large number of stars surrounding the two objects gave us a good point of reference. After approximately one second of both objects hovering still, they smoothly and slowly reversed direction and traveled a short distance of approximately 1-2 degrees in a southerly direction for approximately three to four seconds. Both objects slowly and smoothly came to a stop and hovered for approximately two seconds and simultaneously rotated so that the object on the west exchanged positions with the object on the east. Both objects, very smoothly, began to accelerate in a northerly direction at a rate of acceleration that took both my son and! myself by surprise. It only took approximately two seconds for both objects to accelerate to a velocity of two to three times that of a typical communications satellite. We continued to watch both objects travel in a northerly direction for approximately ten seconds as the distance between the two objects increased to approximately 10-15 degrees. At this point, as we continued to slowly travel in a southwesterly direction on the ski lift, the bright metal halide lights from the Mid-Way Station drop off point coupled with the increasing distance of the two objects from us prevented us from continuing our observation of the objects. As this observation was occurring, my son and I were verbalizing our observation to each other as we started to realize that what we were witnessing was something we have never seen before. We were cursing and yelling to each other as we described what we were seeing. I said things such as “What the heck?!” as my son shouted, “Oh, my God! They stopped!” I shouted “Oh my God! They’re going backwards!”. These type of statements mixed with a few choice curse words were uttered throughout the entire observation. As we passed the Mid-Way drop off station, my son and I were in shock as we sat in stunned silence for an unknown amount of time. Now that we were in a fully illuminated area, I turned to my son and he turned to me. We locked eyes for a few seconds. My son broke the silence with “What was that?” I returned “I don’t know.” We continued to the top of the mountain in stunned silence. We made one more trip down the mountain and decided that we would call it a day since neither of us could concentrate on skiing.

Doylestown, PA

At 19:00 Eastern time plus or minus a few minutes, I noticed two lights in the south sky. From my viewpoint in Doylestown, PA, they appeared between the stars Sirius and Betelgeuse, and moved little, if at all. The lights were about -1 magnitude brightness. After several seconds, they faded, and then disappeared from view. There were no clouds in that part of the sky. The lights were star-like, and mostly white with a trace of blue. Both objects were identical in color and tone. I doubt these were commercial or military aircraft. There is not enough information to judge distance or altitude.

Allentown, PA

The object seemed like a shooting star. But the object was extremely close. Almost like a straight beam of light falling from the sky with a fireball at the front tip of it. The object was so close, that I yelled to my nephew. "Oh my God, do you see what i see? Oh i think its going to crash and explode something? My nephew was amazed, and said wow! All of a sudden, the object vanished in thin air.

It was 8pm on Sunday bight, and my boyfriend called his son and myself outside. Red looking fireballs coming one after another flying in the skies. It was light orange, but more in vivid red color and round with the naked eye. They were approximately 2-3000 feet in air. Very, very visual. Flying over our head. One after another. These objects were heading northwest . When I look up couldn't believe my eyes. They just kept coming. Furthermore, there were commercial planes heading east passing them. However, it did not effect these strange anomolies, or crafts. Lastly, some disappeared west into clouds, as thou they flew straight up into the sky. Mean while, others headed northwest direction with no sound, as well. Overall, I have pictures to post. And, 49 years of life , first time I witmessed such a event! Red balls flying north, west , and straight up! The pictures are all different shapes and colors. As I kept snapping. Furthermore, i have a photo, from a family member, in Bucks County that I've been holding. She sent them to me, the night they came over her yard, which is not the first time. These images are amazing! She will remain anonymous. In the end, I too have seen with my very own eyes, so I'm ready to release her photo now.

I was on my back porch and could see it from the sky going down to the land. I live up on a hill and I am about 2 miles from the main street in town. It landed somewhere in a field, I suppose, between my house and town. I don't think it hit anything because I stayed outside for a while a didn't hear any sirens or anything unusual. My backyard looks to the west where the sun goes down. I have seen 2 other odd hovering balls in the past 2 years but never reported them. January 30, 2016 · 6:00 PM · FIREBALL

Coopersburg, PA

Fireball fell from the sky burning out behind treeline. We were in our car (upper Bucks County) traceling West on Ebert Road in Coopersburg, when my son and I witnessed a bright very fast moving ball of fire, falling almost completely straight down. It happened so fast but was very bright. Once the light made its way toward the treeline we could no longer see any residual effects. It just disappeared. This is on a quiet street, so we lulled over to make sure nothing caught on fire.

Shippensburg, PA

I do not know if what I saw was from somewhere other than earth or not, I only know it was unidentifiable by me. I have searched everywhere and cannot find an explination for it. My incident happened as follows: I parked my car and got out to walk into work. I immediately saw a very large, white static light coming out of the west. Too large and bright for anything I had ever seen before. I don't know how far away it was when I first saw it, but, I knew it was coming right at me. I kept walking through the parking lot towards the door because I was a little scared. As it got closer I could see a slow blinking green light on the left (if I would have been in the craft it would have been on the right) and slow blinking white light on the right. It then went directly over my head. There were four large static bright round white lights underneath. They almost looked as though each of the lights were made up of two half round lights. The lights were positioned like there would have been one in each corner of a rectangle. I could not see the shape of the craft. I was desperately trying to, but between the bright lights from the craft and the light at the door I was standing at I couldn't see a shape. Plus it was also completely cloudy that morning so there was no light above it. There are large trees there, probably 60 to 70 feet tall. I estimate the craft to have been 700 to 800 feet up. It was not flying high. What freaked me out most was the lack of noise. It was a very soft sound of air moving as it flew above me. As it moved away, I saw a slow blinking red light. It moved in a straight line towards the east. It never made any erratic moves. That's what I saw and I would love to know what it was. I can't stop thinking about it. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Four large white lights on bottom flew directly overhead This is an addendum to the report I submitted around 10:15 this morning (1/28/16). This was not a small object like a toy drone. I estimate by the height it was flying and the space between the four lights that it had to be at least 50 feet long and 25 feet wide, at least where the lights were mounted. How much bigger than that it was, I don't know because I couldn't see a shape. Please if you have any questions or know what this was please email me. ((END ADDENDUM))

I viewed what I think might have been a drone in the shape of an airplane. It was going so slow at one point. My car passed it on Rte 13 going southbound and it surprised me as my car was going 55 mph and I was pulling away from it at one point as it was traveling southbound as I was. Then it gained speed and proceeded southbound towards Philadelphia ahead of me. I later saw the object flying over Penn Valley Rd and headed towards Trenton. This time I was outside with another person and I could hear that it made noise like a very quiet airplane, but it was much larger than a Piper Cub. It had red flashing lights at times. It was weird that it was so low. Nothing about it appeared extraordinary other than the slow speed at which it traveled next to my car going southbound on Rte 13. At approximately 11:50 P.M. on 1/18/2016 while my wife was coming home from her job, she observed a bright white light moving slowly above housing structures near and around a Turkey Hill Mini Market, Rt. 72 South, Manheim, PA. She said that the light was bright, and that she then witnessed the light take a sharp downward ark. She said that the light did not break apart, but just simply arked down in an Easterly direction before she lost sight of the object due to multiple building obstruction.

Scranton, PA

I was walking when I looked up ahead of me I noticed a large what I would say rectangular UFO that was the size of a aircraft carrier. It was at night but it did not seem that far up in the sky. And it seemed to just float at ease it made no noise whatsoever it had a red orb in the front and two red orbs side to side which were distant from the first I would guess at about 50 yards and after that were another 2 orbs at 50m yards it just floated smoothly like it was not even going 10 mph it seemed just silently floating in the sky. Than it was just gone. I looked around hoping to see if any one else saw this. I mean this was in Scranton, PA, and what bothered me was something thus size so large was not seen by anyone else? Witness provides no contact information. Date of occurrence is flawed and illogical. Hoax?? We have changed the date and posted. PD

Philadelphia, PA

I looked up at the sky like I do every night when I get off the train and yesterday I saw something Ive never seen before. There was a small light, not too high, up in the sky, changing colors from red to an aqua green/blue. It pulsed from color to color, having a solid red colors at times. It never really flashed white and we couldn't hear a sound. The path was a big circle, every once in awhile it was hover and head up higher in the sky but the entire time the colors would alternate and change. Possible sound came from but I cant say for sure with the location I was in and the passing planes in the sky. We had a friend keeping watch, and at one point a spotlight was on the object and soon after disappeared.

Floating fireballs made several different shapes from a circle to a diamond then into a line and constellation shapes. Could only record a few seconds of multiple, kept shutting recording off. Then when there was just one I could record for 45 seconds. Sky was clear and planes were visible.

January 7, 2016 · 4:40 PM · LIGHT

Brodheadsville, PA

Seemed to be a ball or large object "falling" through the sky with 2 distinct white steam/ice type trails in a loose 'V' shape above it. Another ball or object appeared under it (halfway to the horizon) and seemed to be motionless. This looked shiny as if it was reflecting light. The first object continued down until reaching our horizon and its trajectory could have been an optical illusion of falling. Admittedly these were quite far away, but certainly unidentified, and unlike anything we have seen before.

The lights seem to be 1 to 2 miles away. The light began as white, but have gradually began to blink blue and green. Upon observation threw a pair of binoculars, the lights seem to be moving at a very fast rate of speed, but then hovering in place for some times. My lights to my home flickered and then my flashlight would not turn on.

Relatively clear night with a few thin clouds, can see many stars and a couple airplanes. Was looking northwest when I first noticed the lights (didn't see them appear). They moved toward the south and I was able to see them clearly, until I lost them behind some trees and a building. At that point I was looking a little south of due west. They were brighter than the stars but not as bright/crisp as airplane lights. Long line of white lights moving south, parallel to and about 30 degrees above the horizon. Direction of motion appeared to be along the axis of the line. Very straight line, very steady lights. None moved relative to one another, and all were evenly spaced. Did not appear to be getting closer or farther away--the line maintained a steady length. Did not appear to accelerate. Not sure how to describe scale, but from my perspective the line appeared to be about the length from Orion's belt to his front foot. (The lights didn't cross Orion, but it was an easy reference.)

My husband and I were driving home on north 95 from Langhorne, PA. Low on the horizon, there were five orange/yellowish objects with glowing "tails", like miniature comets in the sky. They did not appear to be moving. Three were clustered together and seemed pointed in the same direction. Two others were farther down. I checked my iPhone's compass app and saw they were exactly West. It was around 4:40pm, just before dusk, but still enough daytime sun. Walked onto porch to watch fireworks in the distance for New Years but these light balls were red out in the distance possibly down towards Lansdale or Harleysville, PA, and they were just sitting there for a lengthy period of time without any chance in altitude. these red lights would just sit there and then randomly split and still hover, and eventually go out after 45 seconds to a minute. They were not lanterns or flares. First there was 5 then 7 and then they started vanishing and coming back until there was only 1.

We were out side with the children put oats out for the deer when my youngest son noticed the full moon. As we looked at the clear sky I saw a very large redish "star". I thought it was Mars. My friend pointed out 2 additional very bright stars one directly above and the other below. They were bright orbs perfectly lined up and they hovered for a few min. They all started to rise higher in the sky where they flickered out one at a time when they got up to the same spot in the sky. They were not stars nor jets. I have never seen anything so beautifully mysterious. I am certin what I saw was a ufo.
