I wanted to report a possible UFO sighting. I had seen an exact same sighting just a few years ago. This one has the exact same flashing, floating, vanishing lights. The following is what happened tonight at about 9:10 p.m. May 17, 2016. I heard a bunch of sirens outside my apartment, so I looked out to see what was going on and what direction they were going in. I live in a pretty big city and a bad section where there’s always something going on. I thought I had heard a car chase so that was what had me curious. It was twilight and the sky was that beautiful mix of colors -of dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, and then pink and red. I saw two lights in the far distance rising up into the sky. I could tell immediately that they were odd by the way they were moving and the way they looked. They were floating at two different spots. Blinking on and off. Red all the time and the white was flashing. I could tell they were on the horizon but not as far away as stars would be. They were not planes. They made no noise. They flashed on and off, moving at the exact same speed and in the same direction as the other. Then they simply faded, disappeared, vanished before my eyes. Just like the ones in 2013. I could not tell the shape. All I saw was two lights moving and flashing at the same speed, vanished at the same time. (I think it was 2013 when I went to Westcott Beach/Henderson Harbor/Sackett’s Harbor in New York State. We were camping and I saw a whole bunch of them floating across the sky. They vanished before my eyes.) It gave me a chilly, startling feeling. I see airplanes all the time since I live in a highrise and there’s an airport across the city. These were NO airplanes.

i was just going to bed when i glanced out my window from where i sleep and saw this smaal ball of colorful lights kinda like a sparkler lit up and as it decended below tree level a sort of white lite followed kinda like a flash of lightening you would see in a distance, this object was decending very fast before i had any chance of trying to identify what i was seeing i know it was not any type of fire works as it was quite different to know the difference and also the news reported that morning that the emergency 911 phone lines experience an un known outage at that same hour in another erea weather its got anything to do with it or not just felt i needed to report what i experienced.

My work crew of three and I had just pulled into our hotel, when we saw what looked to be a round green object racing towards earth. At about 20' from the horizon at my vantage point it had a green fireball around it, I would estimate it to be within five miles of my location easy. From my vantage point it looked to be as big as a house and at about 5' from the horizon it lit the whole sky lit up with light. Then a kind of trace of lightning looking light coming into it "not away from it". If it had been a meteor or something else, there isn't a doubt in my mind we would have heard it impact earth. It seemed to have just stopped. It was like it had an intelligence about it not just some dumb rock entering our atmosphere. The night tonight is clear and the background is solid black. Was walking out of work and have little way to walk towards the end of the building I work. 2 bright white lights caught my eye, because they were low and flying fast. Then all of a sudden they split in two one left and the other went right, the speed when they split and was so unbelievable fast, I have never seen anything like that and was in amazement that they could move so fast like they did, wish I knew what I was looking at because I would have tried to see some sort of shape.

The U.F.O. my mother and I saw had lights around it in the shape of a triangle much like the flying v in the mighty ducks lol but we did not see the actual craft just the lights and I can not say how many lights were exactly their I know this is not a good description. And I'm no sky watcher but I have seen my fair share of videos too know this was not normal. At first we thought it was a plane for a second, But then noticed the lights were in a much different shape placement not blinking and one solid LED ish color and it was not moving. It was fairly close and easy to see but was gone so fast because the strange part was how it suddenly and quickly vanished. At approximately 11:45pm while traveling north on the palisades parkway near exit 11, I witnessed a green fireball light up the sky which disappeared as soon as it came… Then at approximately midnight, while traveling North on 45 between Spring Valley and Pomona my wife and i witnessed flashing in the sky which seemed to be cloud covered or had a haze around it. We drove along following this which happened to be the same direction as our way home. The flashing was inconsistent, and varied in color. There was nothing obstructing us from seeing this. No trees or buildings around. There was nothing below the haze and flashing or above. I pulled into our complex (Buckingham Court in Pomona NY) and i stopped to take about a 30 second video of this. At which point i pulled into my parking spot. It seemed to be almost directly over our house… We heard a humming noise for about 30 seconds. At the exact moment i shut my car off the entire power in the complex wen! t out. There was complete darkness and the flashing and haze in the sky was gone. Power went back on at 1:35am... Will email video along with this explanation.

Heard an insanely loud roaring noise while sitting in my house. It sounded like a plane and lasted a while. I looked out my window and saw a white light following too obscure of a path to be a plane. This happened twice within about 30 minutes.

A saucer type shape with a small dome on top was hovering in the sky that continuously cycled colors from red, yellow and green, hovered for about 5 minutes then flew away horizontally, and disappeared from view behind trees.

In the sky southeast of Potsdam appeared an orange light that would disappear and reappear (think like a steady 3 to 4 second pulse) in the sky. As it reappeared each time, it was appearing the same distance apart. The movement was not natural or aerodynamically explained (definitely not a plane or helicopter). I pulled over to get a better look and it stopped. Drove home from that point (about 4 minutes) and had 2nd witness outside meeting me. Upon looking South it started again then stopped again for about 30 seconds. No further sighting after that. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

me and a few friends were hanging out and for some strange reason i decided to look up and i noticed a strange alignment of lights some were shifting very slightly left to right (you really had to focus to notice movement) about 3 of those lights looked as if they were changing color from white to redish orange then slightly blue, then shortly after we saw 2 different aircrafts, the first was strange it was definately not a plane or helicopter and its was shooting straight up and at a fast rate (approximately 4x faster than a regualar plane and it left a light trail of white smoke ) then shortly after approximately 5 min after we saw a different aircraft wich looked more familiar than the first aircraft. The second looked like a helicopter of some sort and it was in the same area without movement for about 3 min then started flying away regularly (it was as if it was looking for the strange ufo me and my friends saw ) DEFFINATELY NOT NORMAL! usually dont see too many stars in nyc if you live here you know what i mean but last night the sky seemed to be lit up with them i will be observing again tonight and if anything is seen will deffinately record and post it up

Heard a helicopter flying by while in my house which is unusual. I looked outside and it was really low and loud. I could see that it was flying side by side with a small light. Looked like an Orb was flying along side it. They were heading east toward the Hudson River then made a right turn South toward Manhattan. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t part of the aircraft as it moved independently at various positions next to it and it was positioned about 20-30 yards away from the helicopter. While driving down main Street I observed 2 long green lights in the sky out my driver's window. The lights seemed to be parallel with one another and rectangular is shape. The lights would fade and them come back bright, they where moving slowly and in a small grid pattern, then would move to another part of the sky. The lights where in the the area of the big dipper.

A cluster of reddish orange glowing balls of light flashing. Very close together. Too many and too close for them all to be planes. Too high and too close for them all to be helicopters. There was no sound. A few drivers, including myself, pulled over into a gas station to actually see what they could have been. There were a few seconds that objects disappeared and then reappeared, still very close together traveling north east, but more east. I did not call police because they might think I'm nuts. I hope someone else experienced this besides me and others in town?

I heard your interview on the "Podcast UFO" show and you mentioned your belief that only 1 in 20,000 people who do see a UFO will report it - and I realized I was one of the 19,999 who has seen them on multiple occasions but never reported it to anyone (because I figure anyone who looks into the subject will find out that they're real, and anyone who won't look into it will not be benefited by my report anyway!). I appreciate your work, so I thought I should be the "1 in 20,000" who reports what they saw instead. I'm an amateur astronomer, and one night I was outside on my back porch trying to determine whether or not I should bring my telescope out that night, looking casually at the sky and weather conditions. It was mostly clear, with a few clouds far to my east. Suddenly, I noticed a brightly lit glowing object out of the corner of my eye above me. I thought to myself something along the lines of "what planet is this? How have I not seen this planet before?" - thinking I had just been "missing" this planet or star because it was hidden behind a tree from the perspective of my porch. Then it started moving, and then it started making a turn over my general area and I knew at once this was no normal astronomical object. This object was at least 3x brighter and larger than Jupiter and what it looked like was a pearl-shaped ball of light, or at first it just appeared like a very bright orb of light. It was moving very fast (compared to conventional things like "drones", passenger jets, or Chinese lanterns) - but not as fast as a shooting star. It made a strangely sharp turn in the sky and then moved silently over my area eastward, out toward rural land near Alden, NY. -- interesting to note that when I checked your website or MUFON's I found it has reports of flying discs/UFOs from that same town). At first it was simply a large point of light, brighter than the planet Jupiter and all the stars (which weren't out yet that night) - its brightness/light quality/size did not change at all regardless of what perspective I was looking at it from ("head on", in front of it, behind it after it passed over me, from far away, etc) and there were no blinking lights. I see airplanes every night I observe the sky, I'm perfectly familiar with what they look like and I would be able to discern them even at night. This was no airplane, it didn't blink at all. I thought to myself I should really get my cell phone and take video of it, but I didn't want to leave. Eventually I made the decision that I couldn't miss the opportunity and I put my faith in the fact it would still be there when I got back, ran inside and grabbed my cell phone and some binoculars I had nearby, and came back out. It was still traveling on it's course through the sky and I tried to take video of it with my cell phone - the video turned out all black on the screen (even though it was not late enough to be an all "black" sky, it was more dusk) and I couldn't get my phone to find or zoom in on the object properly, so I gave up that idea and put my binoculars to my eye, this is when I saw the strangest thing. Inside the orb of light I had been watching was a craft (or something - some type of structured object) - I can't find the right words to describe it's shape but it wasn't normal, and it was a gold colored burnished metal to my eyes. The object continued moving away from me entered some clouds and I was still able to see the light through the cloud -- then it passed out of the cloud and through some open sky, then into another, thicker cloud bank where I completely lost sight of it.I stood around outside thinking about how strange it was and hoping to see it again, wondering if more would be coming or if that was just a one-off strange experience. A few minutes later (maybe 10, not certain) 2 military jets came flying through my area lower than normal commercial planes, these 2 looked like small gray fighter jets and they were traveling quickly as a pair -- they were heading to exactly the direction and area I had last seen my UFO at. I wonder if they were sent up to intercept or look at the object after it was caught on radar somewhere. Strangely, these jets too were silent from where I stood looking at them, even though normally jets going overhead make a ton of noise from a mile away. Now over the past few months I've seen this type of thing 4 times. The one I typed up above was the most interesting because it included military jets pursuing the UFO, but I've seen similarly strange things like this in the sky. One time I was out for a walk with a family member and they pointed out a particular bright object in the night sky and asked me which planet it was, "is that Jupiter?", etc. I noticed it immediately and thought to myself "huh, what is Jupiter doing over there in the wrong place?" -- then it started moving! It moved through the sky steadily, then for some reason it "disappeared into" another star in the night sky - as if it had decided to jump into "hyperspace" at that point or turn off it's light. In the weeks following I saw the same thing again with the same family member, only this time it just traveled through the sky at high altitude. Again the strange thing was the quality of light, no blinking FAA beacons, no change in brightness based on perspective, and it seemed higher than normal airplane altitudes. It just traveled over my area and I was able to watch it until it disappeared from my vision because of distance. These were all sort of "spheres" of light. My last recent experience took place while I was walking from my car into the local Rite Aid - I happened to look up at the sky (as is my habit as an amateur astronomer) and noticed an unlit, perfectly spherical "orb" - or just a sphere hanging there in the sky between a few clouds. It was fairly high up but I saw it clearly, I stood there looking up at it for a few minutes and it didn't move at all. It was like a greyish white color. Eventually some other customers pulled up to the store so I went in because I didn't want to look like a crazy person standing in front of Rite Aid staring up at the sky. When I came back out the sphere that had been between the moderate cloud cover was nowhere to be found - but it's earlier position was still clear of clouds. Strong light, white ' flashed straight downwards but not a beam. Was approx 100 ft above trees and more than 1/4 mile distant. About the size of a baseball at arm's length. Light flashed strongly once and then blinked out. Flash lit up trees and roofs of nearby houses. No helicopter not airplane. No sounds.

While traveling west in Queens on the LIE into Manhattan, I noticed an object hanging still in the sky south towards Brooklyn. It was shaped like a corpuscle on its side and appeared whitish in color. It did not move. It hung there in the sky for about 2-3 minutes. It was not a plane or a helicopter. I was on a bus moving quickly and could not take a photo.

After looking further we counted up to seven. They all exhibited the same characteristics: Flashing, multi-color lights and at a great distance and altitude. They were so high they appeared to be stationary until we noticed that they were moving to the west. We witnessed through binoculars which showed the lights changing. Initially, I chalked it up to low orbit satellites reflecting the sun but discovered a video on youtube shot in San Francisco the same evening showing one of the exact same objects we viewed - link here https://youtu.be/DVNhpxKjULg

At 8:14 P.M., I went out to the mailbox to retrieve the mail. As I closed the mailbox,a bright pulsating orange light just above the tree line caught my eye. It was moving very slowly to the southeast with no sound. The object intensified in brightness and then faded somewhat as it traveled in a straight line to the east. It was clearly under intelligent control as it did not deviate from its flight path. I then ran inside and grabbed my binoculars and then ran back out the back door to my back yard. The object then disappeared and then reappeared about 20 seconds later. I raised my binoculars and focused them in on the object and it changed from a solid orange object to a triangular shaped object with three orange lights. There was an orange light on each corner forming a perfect triangle. The object crossed directly in front of me,stopped and then disappeared into thin air. It did not ascend or descend.It simply vanished,as if it had cloaked itself invisible. I witnessed it disappear while viewing it through the binoculars. I had the distinct feeling that the object was watching me, just as I was watching it. The weather was not a factor, as it was a crystal clear starry night.
